Advice/Help How to make a private group for RPing?

So I'm trying to create one large universe-y place, all connected through individual RPs. At first, I was just going to put the solo RPs in Partners and the big in-universe crossover RPs in Groups, but I remember a friend of mine had a private group where all of the lore was placed in one category, while the RPs were placed in another. It was like a mini RPNation, but only for the 17 people in the group.

So basically, how do I make one of those groups?
It would really help me out with this story.
