You continue to walk around the city, noting that you'll simply have to keep building up your house in order to explore more aspects of this land given that this method substitutes whatever normal method of gameplay you were to employ if you were playing a normal session.

You look around, curious as to what the Skelemanders are up to in their bustling metropolis.
 
They are mostly just shuffling around aimlessly, a trait common in the recently undeceased.
The giant televisions, though showing no images, are very impressive. You wonder what they used to show.

You hear a stomping sound with vibrations that shake you to your core.
 
==> Anna: Investigate

Emboldened by your recent encounters, you equip your Aurora Borealis and turn around. What kind of massive monster could be capable of creating that kind of vibration? You begin to become uneasy at the thought of a violent encounter with this thing.
 
You see the SKELETAL GICLOPS, a massive behemoth of boney rage, surrounding him are several SKELETAL BASILISKS.

Not going to sugar-coat it, there is no feasible way for you to survive this conflict
 
==> Anna: Take action!

You turn tail and leave immediately. You are not intent on dying anytime soon. Besides, you believe it would be difficult for these creatures to die since they are already undead right? They'll probably find shelter...or something. You begin to run for the warehouse you came out of. You have to find a way out of this is you're going to live to see tomorrow.
 
You return to the relative safety of the enclosed space, but it seems a BASILISK followed you!

Oh god! Your own selfish cowardice has backfired and lead one of these minions straight to you! This thing means business. You pull out your Aurora Borealis and aim for one of its feet. You wonder what kind of bullets this thing fires, if any.
 
A beam of pure light fires out of the gun with a very pretty effect, dealing fair damage.
The Basilisk bites you for significant damage!

You chose to take a step back after it bites you. Your chest begins to bleed almost profusely after a couple of teethe shaped gashes begin to form on your rib cage. You scream from the pain after you try and escape. But you have an idea! In your blinding pain, you run over to the large calliope statue in the living room, breaking into as much of a sprint as you can manage.
 
==> ASSAIL!

You run forward, barely escaping the jaws of the Bonesilisk before you slide around the statue, letting the basilisk ram straight into the stone edifice before you push against it and the wall with your feet and back, letting the statue fall onto the already stunned monster.
 
You crush the foe.

Gel Viscosity Up!
Chache Limit Up!

You have enough grist to make THREE (3) NEW ARTIFACTS.

You collapse onto the floor below you, resting your back against the wall. With the instantaneous Gel Viscosity Upgrade your wounds seem to lessen in their impact to the point where you feel like instantly passing out from the sharp pain all around your torso, but the wounds still sting. Blood is even seeping into your clothes and staining your shirt. Oh god its getting everywhere.

You need to patch yourself up.

The (&&) GUN2, it almost hurts to hold being so meta.
And the (||) SCARLETHAUMIC DRESS, truly, a bizarre combination.

After you shoot yourself in chest with the medicine gun you crafted, you are feeling much better. But it looks as though while your bruise has vanished and your wounds feel nonexistent, magically healed as they are, the scars left from the bite are still apparent. You guess this game really isn't pulling any punches!

Lucky for you, the prudish nature of the puritanical era has you literally and metaphorically covered by adding some tights to the frivolously red magical girl skirt apparel you now wear in addition to a sick new red ram's skull mask.


You aim for the nearest imp with your new weapon, you might as well test it out. You begin grinding for imps again.

The Healing Burst of energy obliterates the Imp!

In your grinding you clear your house of the pesky monsters and get enough Grist to do a ALCHEMY MONTAGE (7 Artifacts)

You can finally get some of the ALchemy Ideas you've had growing in your head out and into the world. You've had a lot of new ideas jogged by vigorously murdering these pesky monsters all about your humble abode.

You decide to take a break with your alchemy for a quick second and build a little onto your house.

The (&&) COMPULENSES, Practical.
The (||) RED KNIGHT'S AEGIS, Shiny.
And the (||) MISSING NO., a... gun(?)

You build about a quarter of the way to the Second Gate.

You feel much more confident about your station now that you've unlocked the secret to more efficiently killing these undead creatures given they're susceptible to holy damage. You walk forwards, now equipped with all of your gadgetry. You suppose with the lack of imps in your house, you'll be unable to test any of it out yet.

You enter your first gate again, and leave the warehouse through the door once more.
 
As you return the the Illuminant City, you are met with the Site of the previous BASILISKS, the GICLOPS, however, has begun scaling the buildings.

Anna VS Basillisks & Giclops STRIFE!
AGGRIEVE - AGGRESS - ASSAIL - ABJURE - ABSCOND

You begin to immediately shot at the nearest basilisk, equipping your Plot Spackler and Missing No. in tandem as you shoot a flurry of bullets in it and its group's direction.
 
You fire a volley of bullets, switching between the two weapons. One Basilisk dies, the other just sorta... vanishes.

The 2 Remaining Basilisks bite dealing fair damage!

AGGRIEVE - AGGRESS - ASSAIL - ABJURE - ABSCOND

You take a step back, noting again not to use the Missing No. as it appears to have significantly serious consequences. You pull out your simpler Doctor's Orders and heal yourself for the damage inflicted, and then jump back to gain some distance. You begin to charge an attack from your gun.
