Alessia chuckled as Madam Frou-Frou screeched in protest.
"I suppose you have a point,"
she said, taking a sip of her butterbeer.
"But you can't blame me for finding it amusing to watch you talk to your owl."
Alessia grinned and reached for a piece of sausage from her plate.
"Well, I think she deserves a treat for putting up with you,"
Alessia said, breaking the sausage in half and offering it to the owl. Alessia smiled as Madam Frou-Frou nibbled on the sausage treat she had given her. She ruffled the owl's feathers,
    "She's a really cool owl,"
    Alessia said to Pierre.

Alessia leaned back in her chair and looked up at Pierre with a mischievous grin.
"So, do you have any plans for the day?"
    she asked teasingly.
"Or are you just going to continue your chat with Madam Frou-Frou and then head back to Hogwarts?"
She chuckled to herself, as she imagined Pierre arguing with Madam Frou-Frou on his way back to Hogwarts.

As they chatted, Alessia mentioned her plans for the day.
"Actually, I'm meeting up with Mei later. We're going to spend the day together."
She smiled as she spoke, looking forward to spending time with her friend. Alessia shrugged.
"We haven't really decided yet on what we might do today, Maybe we’ll go raid Honeydukes."

Millie wasn’t planning on buying anything at Hogsmeade; she was simply going to have fun and to relax. But who knows, she might end up seeing something she wants. Millie busied herself with getting ready for her trip to Hogsmeade, with her wondering where she should go first. The Three Broomsticks didn’t really sound appealing, even if it did have a warm fire going in the fireplace. Brews and Stews, however, sounded much more appealing to the Slytherin. Warm coffee and warm food and a warm fire going. Millie would also love to have some company with her at Brews and Stews too. The more the merrier after all. Cinders would be staying behind in the Slytherin Dorms, the cat seemed to be happy where she was on Millie’s bed.

Millie finished with getting ready, getting dressed in warm clothes for the cold weather outside. Millie adjusted her beanie and her scarf before deciding that she was satisfied and ready to venture outside into the cold for some hot coffee. Hot coffee is very nice on a freezing winter’s day.

She was met with the bitterly cold air as soon as she stepped outside and Millie shivered. She wasn’t really a big fan of cold weather so she needed to head to Brews and Stews as quickly as she could. Snow crunched underneath her feet as she made her way through Hogsmeade and towards the café.

Don’t get Millie wrong now, she could be considered an extrovert and enjoyed being in the company of others, but instead of The Three Broomsticks, she preferred the quiet and peaceful scenery of Brews and Stews Café. Does The Three Broomsticks even serve coffee at all? She adjusted her scarf as she walked towards the café, deciding to browse through the windows of the shops a little whilst she walked.

She entered the café, being greeted with the aroma of coffee as well as warmth. She grinned to herself as she wondered what kind of coffee she was going to get. Millie wasn’t too big on coffee that was absolutely loaded with sugar and creamer and toppings.

Pierre rolled his eyes when Alessia fed Madam Frou-Frou, a treat the old owl accepted immediately and eating it quickly and with gusto before giving an appreciative screech and a regal bow of her head. "Oh, you bow to her at a drop of a hat, for me, you bite my ear at the suggestion." He said in a mock exasperated tone before turning back to Alessia and chuckling. "Despite that, yes, I admit she does have her moments. She has been more loyal and supporting than my own family, that is for sure." He admitted somewhat sadly, but he shook it off rather quickly.

The subject changed quickly, thankfully, as Allesia asked about his plans for the rest of the day. Honestly, he did not have much about, he was somewhat hoping to run into Adonis here. He wanted to ask his friend about muggle Christmas traditions and what to expect and the like to inform his decision about visiting his sister or mother. Still he has not seen him yet. "Nothing really much planned right now, just thought I ...." He went to say before realizing what she said. "Mei is coming?" He asked with none too subtle curiosity and interest.

He was given his answer as he saw Mei with some of her friends enter and sneak up on Allessia playfully. The two girls chatted amongst themselves, briefly, before Mei's attention turned towards him. Mei and Pierre's relationship was somewhat fraught. In his more elitist stage in his life, he was quite cruel to her, as he was with most others known muggleborns, but she had his particular attention as there were other complicated feeling he had for her. Though he had moved past his elitist phase, the complicated feeling still remained and was still not sure how to treat her. Though it seemed they had turned cordial with each other since, still it felt awkward.

"Oh bonjour... Likewise," He greeted her and the others a little awkwardly, though he managed a kind smile. He shifted a little to allows others to sit on the table. "Well... I think i am somewhat required to know." He answered jokingly at the question about whether he was joining them. "Well, technically you four are joining me..." He said before quickly correcting himself. "But, I am not complaining. What is the English idiom? More the happier?"

"Doodles!?" Echo let out an incredulous scoff before she repeated herself, "Doodles???" Feigning insult, she clutched at the locket which housed her own animate doodle. "What would E think if she overheard you calling such things doodles? You'd break her little pastel heart."

E's voice echoed out from the locket, "I can hear her though."

"Hush up darling, don't you have an appointment with the Marquess of Pembroke?"

"Oh fudge!" The metallic lockets suddenly grew slightly cold to the touch, now that the animated portrait that had been occupying it and keeping the warming charm active was gone.

Turning her attention back to Prue now that they were right outside the Inn, she reminded her, "Artemis is a talented seer, it's not the doodle we're worried about, it's whatever prompted him to draw it... Or whoever he may tell about it." Rolling her eyes she mumbled, "If someone gets hurt, the Ministry is going to get involved and then all the credit for the find is suddenly no longer ours to be had."

"What are you going to do?" Prudence asked as she started towards the Inn.

"Prepare somewhere to talk. Somewhere free from interruptions." With a grin, Echo ducked into a nearby alleyway and started laying down the spells she would need to create an area free from interruptions and eavesdropping.

Nia hummed softly as she wrote out the steps to a potion, making sure to note the amount of stirs needed after each step, her eyes lifting as she glanced around curiously, wondering where all the students had gone before her eyes grew wide and she almost, keyword almost, smacked her forehead with an elegant hand. "Nia, you forgot it wasss Hogsssmead weekend, didn't you?" Her viper hissed in amusement, flicking her tongue out as her mistress gave her an icy glare, pouting a bit.

The ebony haired elf gave her pet an exasperated glare, her lips pursed in a pout as she huffed and turned her attention back to her book before sighing. "Fine, we can go explore. It hasss been a while anywaysss. Sssshall we?" Her soft parsel ability seemed to echo around the empty library as she gently put her books away, holding out her arm to allow her blue viper to coil around it and make her way to her neck and went to the common room to drop her bag off. After putting her books and homework away, Alenia casually made her way towards Hogsmead. Heading for Gringotts to withdraw some galleons for a small shopping trip.

The duo ignored the stares they got, mainly for the venomous snake curled around her neck like some necklace as the two approached the double doors, the elven Lyrei heiress giving a respectful bow to the guards before entering, not even missing a beat as her greeting was returned before the doors shut. As Nia got her coins in order, she gave a soft smile to her bankteller as they left and she couldn't help but breathe a sigh as she left her posture relax. "Where ssshould we go first Rani?"

The day started off how it normally does for Boreas, he had his morning flight with frigid, checked on the owls, practiced some spells, and even managed to help a third year with some transfiguration homework. The Ravenclaw tucked some books into his bag before exiting the ravenclaw tower and heading down to the main courtyard. Boreas sighed in content as the air hit his skin, he walked across the courtyard and out towards a trail that led to a small creek. He kneeled down and ran his hand through the water before taking a seat near the creek while wiping his hand off on his jeans. Reaching in his bag, he pulled out a notebook and a book labeled ‘charms’ and began to flip through the pages. He sat there reading and practicing spells for about an hour before he was interrupted by two gryffindors who ran past him. Boreas shook his head and closed the books before stuffing them both in his bag and standing up to brush himself off. “Guess I’ll go get a butter beer if nothing else” he sighed before picking up his back and making his way towards hogsmead

As he walked down the trail, frigid swooped down and landed on his shoulder. “Well hello there” Boreas said while raising his hand to rub the owls head “did you have a nice trip?” He asked as the owl ruffled her feathers “did mom give you a hard time again?” The ravenclaw laughed before pulling a rolled up letter from the leather strap on the owls leg. Boreas opened the letter and read it with a small frown on his face before balling the paper up and shoving it into his pocket “grandpa will be the death of me I swear” he mumbled and continued his journey, raising his arm so that Frigid would fly away.

Upon arriving in Hogsmeade, he was greeted with tons of Hogwarts students running around and enjoying all that the village had to offer “i remember those days” he said with a smile on his face. His eyes glanced over to the three broomsticks and a small grin spread across his face as he walked inside the building, taking a seat at an open table. One of the waitresses came by and took his order, soon returning with a butter beer. Boreas sipped the drink and sighed in content before pulling his books out once again with the intent on studying some more “a change of environment is always good” he said to himself as he began to flip through the pages of his charms book, slowly drowning out the voices of the students and patrons around him.

Prue still did not see how the doodle would lead Artemis to the statue, still it was quite clear it wasn't so much that Artemis might get hurt but rather wanted credit for the find. Still to make sure Artemis did not get himself involved in this sort of thing was reason enough, if nothing else it was a drink of butterbeer and maybe a chat with friends. There were worst tasks to be given, she supposed. She listened to what echo had to say. "OK, I will meet you hear when I am done." She said, looking up behind her before picking up the pace.

She made the rest of the way to the Three Broomsticks, thinking how she would approach Artemis on the matter. Though they shared a few kind words, she was not in the immediate social circle and so thought whether he could approach people in that circle. Only one came to mind, not so much because she knew her particularly any better than Artemis, more that she caught her eye in a certain way that was not academic or friendly minded. A wave of red hair and continental charm. She wondered if she would be there.

It did not take long for her to find out as she opened the door to the Three Broomstick and ducked through the door. She straightened up once stepped through, taking in everything, feeling eyes on her immediately, but she ignored them as she scanned the room trying to spot her target. She paused when she saw the pair sitting together at a table nearby. She paused as her eyes focused on Angelique, her mind going blank for a few seconds before she shook the off and tried to approach them. She forced a smile as she approached them. "Oh, hey you..."

She stopped mid-sentence as she hit her forehead on a low beam, letting out a curse as rubbed her forehead. Embarrassment as much as pain flooding through her.

For a moment there, with his focus settled mostly on Angelique as he made his - admittedly, slightly vague - offer, Artemis didn't pay much attention to everything else happening around their table... Or at least definitely less than he normally did, curious and perceptive as he was. He hadn't suddenly gone deaf or blind, after all; he was still aware of people coming and going, of the constant buzz of conversations... But they served as mere background for his interest. Something more would have been needed to shift it...

And the world provided.

Some people were just easy to notice - for one reason or another. Physical size was definitely a factor, though it didn't always give you the right kind of presence on its own... But, of course, for someone at least two feet taller than everyone around them, size was actually enough.

In other words, Prudence's arrival could really be sensed even before Artemis caught more of her than just a glimpse out of the corner of his eye.

Instinctively, his head turned slightly to the side, his gaze following the sudden disturbance that was people automatically making space for the girl... As she clearly moved towards his and Angelique's table. Her focus seemed to be on Artemis' companion, and that wasn't surprising at all; Angelique was a sight lovely to see, so people looked, and her red hair stood out like Artemis' own blond did, resembling beacons of light among darker shades... Which mostly came to his mind because he had, in fact, painted something among those lines before.

Perhaps more than once.

... Maybe he had a thing for a certain kind of imagery.

Still, right there and then, he simply watched through half-lidded eyes as Prudence approached, as she spoke... To Angelique, really, not to him, so he didn't feel the need to react - instead keeping his expression neutral and subtly warming his hands on his raised glass, with his elbows resting on the table before him.

Or... Well, that was until the girl's head suddenly connected with a wooden beam, immediately shutting her up - and making one of Artemis' eyebrows curve upwards in response. To be fair, the look on his face did not turn mocking or even teasing; he had standards and, to be honest, he didn't particularly care about this event, either...

Which didn't stop him from calmly taking another sip of his hot chocolate first - all while still looking at Prudence with mild, almost polite interest... In a way giving her an apparently much needed moment to collect herself.

"I take it that happens a lot," he said, which - in his opinion - was enough of a reason for Prudence not to care about it as well. Then again, perhaps it wasn't such a common occurrence after all - the ceilings in the castle were generally much higher, and it stood to reason that the girl's own home must have been modified with her impressive height in mind, too... Well, no matter; they could simply talk about something more interesting instead. "Are you here to steal Angelique from me?"

Yes, that should suffice.

It was obvious that last month's transformation had shattered Pax’s sense of hope. The bleary-eyed witch gaped, stone still, at a reflection on a window but even that did not want to respond. Her usual glowing skin was sallow and pitted slightly, and lack of self care caused the curls in her hair to become dreary and roped together. The fiercest feature of her face, Pax’s eyes, had still kept their green intensity just without the brilliant spark. This life-long incurable disease had ripped through her since she was nine and still, it was impossible to comprehend normality even in times of human appearance. Alone, the cobbles of Hogsmeade felt very steep, to manoeuvre across them was exhaustive and it also took a tremendous amount of effort to dodge ongoing children who were frenzied with pre-Yule Ball delirium. The weather was fair but freezing. Pax’s first defence for taming the maliciously bitter day was the Gryffindor’s winter scarf but even that constricted her trachea tightly and drained the colour further from her face.

It didn’t take too long to reconcile herself and return to the reluctant venture through the highstreet. It was cold and the Three Broomsticks was close enough now and Pax did long for a quick half pint of rejuvenating butterbeer. She was planning on meeting her long time friend, Azra Seneca, to discuss something about the Yule Ball. However Pax did not understand the fascination in all honesty. Azra, a sixth year Hufflepuff student, was renowned for her notorious lateness to class and other scheduled meetings. So, as always, Pax found herself entering the Three Broomsticks alone- again.

There was not much room to breathe in the crowded pub, nevermind sit down comfortably but like all magic establishments a small corner table did eventually become free as Pax happened to enter. The girl felt most comfortable with her back facing the wall and took the wooden stool facing outwards, so now all she needed to do was wait for her friend.

Cori tried to not look like a complete blubbering mess in front of Cody, but knew they weren't concealing it the best when Cody offered her a handkerchief. Cori flashed him a pensive smile before dabbing her eyes dry. “Thanks.” She said with a sigh before passing him the handkerchief back. Cody suggested the two warm up inside The Three Broomsticks.

The two walked into the pub, Cori doing her best to not draw attention to herself as more eyes on her would not be helpful in the moment. They just wanted to sit down and forget about the day with a nice cup of Butterbeer, talk with a friend, and maybe play some chess.

Cori just followed Cody to wherever he planned on plopping them down, they tensed up a little when she realized he was bringing them close to where her sister was. The two sat down at a table near where Belladonna was grouped up with her friends.

Cody made small talk with Cori as she waited for their Butterbeer to arrive. Although crashing into each other was not the best way to start hanging out. Cori was starting to feel better talking with a friend. The Butterbeer was dropped off at their table. Cori grasped the cup, the warmth of it stinging the scrapes from the gravel on their hands. Cori quickly placed it back down on the weathered wood of the table with a small wince. Cori listened to Cody whilst muttering a quick spell healing up the scrapes. Finally taking a swig of the Butterbeer Cody asked about her day as the warmth of the drink filled her body.

“Mmh, pretty bad.” Cori chuckled. “You weren't the first person to knock me to the ground.” Cori shook her head. “Some rowdy kids crashed into me coming out of Honeydukes.” Cori took another sip from her mug. “But the day is getting better. So how has your Hogsmeade adventure been so far?” She asked with a smile.

Foxyn was very excited to head to Hogsmeade. Fox wondered what he should do while at Hogsmeade. There was no need to head to the Quidditch shop since paws Quidditch gear was still intact for the next Quidditch game that involved Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff will when the next Quidditch game for sure! Foxyn was good on quills too so no need to head to Scrivenshaft's. Fox might just relax at The Three Broomsticks for the time being and sip on some butterbeer.

The Hufflepuff was getting dressed for the Hogsmeade trip, dressing warmly of course since it's below freezing outside. Once Foxyn was ready, paw gave Todd a pat on the head before deciding that paw was ready to head outside.

Foxyn braced pawself for the cold, chilly air as paw stepped outside. It sure was cold but Foxyn was bundled up warmly for the Hogsmeade trip so it didn't bother him that much. Fox adjusted their glasses as they began to head off towards Hogsmeade. Maybe Foxyn will indulge in a fun snowball later. Snow crunches underneath his feet as he walked through Hogsmeade and took a look around at the shops and buildings. Foxyn then spotted The Three Broomsticks.

There would definitely be people at The Three Broomsticks, people enjoying a butterbeer or the warm fire. And Foxyn was up for drinking some butterbeer too, so he decided his first stop would be there for a while. The Hufflepuff made his way to the building, making his way through the crowd of people gathered at Hogsmeade and was headed for The Three Broomsticks.

Foxyn entered The Three Broomsticks and eagerly looked around for anyone he knew, and he could perhaps join them at their table for some butterbeer. The building was warm, the Hufflepuff being greeted with pleasant warmth compared to how cold it was outside. As Foxyn made paws way through the building, paw soon spotted some familiar faces sitting at a table.

There was Cori the Hufflepuff prefect and Cody the Ravenclaw. Friends! "Hey guys!" Foxyn spoke cheerfully as he made his way over to where the two were sitting at the table and he continued, "can I join you guys here?" Fox inquired with a small smile. It would be nice to be sitting at a table with people that they knew.

Ani sighed as she found a patch of grass by the shade of a large tree just on the outskirts of Hogmead's centre. Unlike many of her fellow students, she wasn't really keen on going out to Hogsmead. It was cold out, and she was keen to practice her music in the comfort and warmth of the Gryffindor common room, especially as she would have the peace of her solitude. However, both her adoptive sister and Professor Valentine had insisted she should get a change of scenery, as it would be conducive to her music. She groaned at the thought, like they knew anything about her process, but still she could not deny they did have a small point.

Resigned to her trip out, she prepared for it: putting on the warmest clothing she could find and gathered her instruments. She interacted with other minimally, not much more than asking for help with her instruments, and quickly removed herself from the larger groups until she found her spot by the tree. She set her instruments carriers down and opened all at once with a swing of her want. She paused for a moment, deciding on what to sing first. She had a performance for the Yule Ball to practice for but wanted to warm up for first, it took her a few seconds to think of a song before finally going for it.

Ani she took out her want then took a deep breath, it was a complicated spell to get going, especially to do so wordlessly. She had come across the spell in her research in the library once and practised it obsessively, with enough focus and gently waves she could make the instruments play any song as long as she knew the music. She had managed a couple of instruments at once but never five, especially while singing too. She needed to take it slow. One at a time while adding her singing. She pointed the wand at the keyboard, the instrument she was must be familiar with, and made the appropriate gesture. The keyboard began to play a soft, slow melody, she let it play for a few seconds before starting to hum along. She gave a wave to the second instrument, a traditional Greek guitar, its string began to pluck with the same melody.

She went to add a third instrument, but she heard the melody of the other two instruments distort, so gave up on the idea. She played the tune to completion, moving her wand like a conductors' baton, lowering it when the song completed. She took a couple of deep breaths before starting the melody again, this time adding words to the melody.

The Slytherin Prefect managed to smile at Mei, “I’m going to compete with Alessia to earn the spot of your Slytherin.” Otto giggled. “But I will say that us Slytherins are quite ambitious and cunning. And charming too. I’m pretty charming. Right, Huxley?” Otto asked the Gryffindor with a big grin.

Of course, Otto had said all of this before Mei had started dragging the two of them towards the building to get Alessia. The three of them were off to The Three Broomsticks to get Alessia, and then they could be off to Honeyduke’s to politely raid the sweets shop. Yes, they will be very polite. The prefect looked over at Huxley, looking at fiz just in time to see fiz making an up and down motion with his arm and saying "choo-choo" and telling otter that the next stop is the sweets shop. Otto laughed at the choo-choo motion of Huxley’s arm. He felt reassured that their next stop would be Honeyduke’s, Otto was anxious to get there before it got way too crowded. After all, otter wanted to get the best sweets!

The prefect was met with warmth against his face, his cheeks a pinkish color from the cold air. The warmth was welcomed, even if it wasn’t the warm, sugary aroma air of Honeyduke’s. Otter began to look a look around at otters surroundings and taking everything in. Sure enough, there was a roaring fire in the fireplace and a bunch of people at tables drinking butterbeer or some other drink. With Otto sticking close to Huxley, otter followed after Mei to where Alessia and Pierre were sitting at.

Otto knew Pierre and Alessia since they were in Slytherin together.

Otto had his arm linked together with Huxley's as he sat down at the table with the others, looking around briefly. Otters eyes lit up at the mention of going to Honeyduke's. “Yeah! We’re going to Honeyduke’s to get a whole bunch of sweets! It’s going to be fun! The more the merrier.” Otto beamed with happiness and otters sweet tooth was quite obvious. Of course, Otto always beamed happily whenever Honeyduke’s and sweets in general were mentioned. Otto turned otters head to look at Huxley, "speaking of Honeyduke's, can we go there now?" otter asked.

Mona-Lisa groggily rolled out of bed, rubbing her eyes open as they glanced at their bedside clock. With a groan they climbed out of bed, it was later than they wanted but they didnt have classes today so fuck it. Dragging herself over to her mirror she squinted, pondering what she wanted to do with their hair. Shifting the appearance and color of their hair a few times before landing on a chest length mint green style with red tips. They smirked not to go but the holidays are creeping up so they should at least feign some festive cheer. They finished getting ready for their day, still debating if they even wanted to go to hogsmeade. They sprawled back out on their bed looking up at the ceiling. With a sigh they turned her attention to their pet owl Matilda. “What do you think? Should I stay, or should I go?” they asked their feathered friend whose only response was to continue to groom its feathers. Mona chuckled as they sat up looking back in the mirror. “You know what, you're right I should just go.” They smiled as they walked to their door to grab the bag that hung on the doorknob. “Besides, I look too cute to stay inside.” Mona gathered her belongings, kissed Matilda on the forehead and walked out through the Ravenclaw commons.

Walking out in the snow Mona-Lisa spread out her arms like a bird letting the cold envelop her. They grabbed a handful of snow as they made their way down to hogsmeade. Rolling the snow into a nearly perfect ball they tossed it between their hands until it fell apart. Mona-Lisa didn't have a plan of what to do going into the quaint town. They went every year and the novelty of it had started to fade away. Everything felt so polished they wanted some grit, some dirt and adventure. They shrugged not knowing where to find that in this town, but maybe someone else did.

Mona-Lisa made their way into The Three Broomstick, if someone had something fun to find they would be here. Mona-Lisa’s eyes scanned the room looking for the right person to kick start something exciting with. Their eyes fell on a Hufflepuff boy. “Perfect.” They said to themselves, strolling up to them. They knew Mars was the best bet for an adventuring partner. Mona-Lisa brought their hands down on the back of zie’s shoulders as his back was facing her. “Hey Dude! Guess Who?” They said confidently before morphing her face to look like his for when they turned around. “Hey Mars, I'm trying to find something a little more exciting to do today.” they said reverting their face to its natural state. “And I thought you” they pointed at them with their pointer fingers and two clicks of the tongue. “Might just have something fun up your sleeve.”

Kenzo Yeong

As Kenzo finally looked up to Zack, he noticed the boy’s face dropped, a hint of disappointment and he felt a pang of guilt. He felt bad. Zach was only trying to make him feel better. he could at least spark a bit of energy and enthusiasm for him. zach’s face turned bright again, a face of determination dawned upon him. Kenzo gave a sigh again before stopping it short, remembering to show at least a little bit of enthusiasm.

then zack suggested they go to Hogsmeade and he shrugged, a small smile seeping to his lips. Zach was fun to be around when it wasn’t such a bad day. His day had already been brightened up because of him. Maybe he shouldn’t take Zach for granted. As Zach grasped his hand, Kenzo felt a shiver go down his spine. He pressed his lips together and let the brown haired boy drag him along the hallways. They arrived to the exit. He raised his head, his blueish eyes gazing at the sky of white, his lips parting to a smile of wonder. He watched as snowflakes landed on Zach and brushed them off his shoulder. Then Zach threw some snow in the air. Kenzo jerked back and scrunched his nose when some snow went down his back. It was freezing! he was about to hit zack with a snowball but Zach placed his coat onto him.

kenzo blushed and turned red as zach called him adorable. Really? Did he think that? He gave a soft smile. “You’re handsome too.” He spoke, not realising what he was saying before clamping a hand to his mouth. “But not as handsome as me!” He added, trying to cover up his words.

they strolled into Hogwarts and Kenzo eyed the shops with interest. All these shops seemed cool. People were milling around, some in robes from Hogwarts, some crowded into shops with a harassed shopkeeper fighting his way through the crowd. “Soooo where do you want to go first?” He asked.

Alessia couldn't help but be curious about Pierre's sudden interest in Mei. She turned to him and opened her mouth to ask him why he was so eager for her arrival, but before she could even utter a word, Mei abruptly interrupted her by covering her eyes trying to make her guess who she was. Alessia couldn't help but smile as she recognized the familiar scent of cinnamon rolls and vanilla.
    "It's you, Mei,"
she said, playfully pushing her friend's hands away.

Alessia beamed as Mei sat down next to her and took a sip of her Butterbeer.
"Of course! I'm always ready for fun,"
she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She leaned in closer to Mei, Alessia couldn't help but notice Mei's gaze landing on Pierre, and the way her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She snickered at her awkward wave and greeting.

Alessia tried and failed to stop chuckling at Mei's late realization that Pierre was sitting across from her.
    "You just noticed him now?"
she teased, giving Mei a playful nose flick
"I thought you had a keen eye for detail,"
she added, grinning mischievously.Mei rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but laugh at Alessia's teasing.
    "Shut up, you,"
she replied, sticking her tongue out playfully.

Alessia grinned and waved at Huxley and Otto as they sat next to Pierre, She couldn’t help but excited at the thought of going to Honeydukes when the pair brought up the idea of going,
    "Honeydukes?! Count me in!"
she exclaimed, clapping her hands together.

Pierre groaned silently when he saw the spark in Alessia eyes, seemingly noted his interest in Mei. He had the impression that he would never hear the end of this. He may know Alessia well as he should, but he knew that glint anywhere, the lover of gossip and meddling. He was not in the mood for that, even if he did not mind her company. Luckily though, Mei interjected which gave him a reprieve, though it did give him to another awkward position of talking to Mei and her friends. He frowned at himself, he was never one to be tongue-tied or not social especially since he gave up elitism, now for some reason he was nervous and tongue-tied. He would imagine his mother chastising him about being some common stutterer, which was unbecoming of someone like him.

Having said that he could not help chuckle when Alessia commented to Mei about noticing him. "Yeah, I might be many things but ignorable is not one of them. Look at this handsome French mug, I mean!" He replied jokingly, finally seeing more of his usual self to his relief. He waived away her apologies. "Ce n'est rien. Don't worry about it, and no real plans..." He began to say before remembering something he read to the letter.

The conversation quickly turned away from him and went on about the many delicious products from Honeydukes. He could help find Allessia and Mei excitement at sweets a bit infectious, and he began to grin. "You two certainly make it sound very enticing. I admit, for it culinary treats of the French, they have nothing like the sweets here. Non bakery sweets, at least." He added cheekily, giving them a wink. "Though I do admit the beans are still beyond my understanding of why it sold." He shuddered a little, remembering trying the jelly beans once and having the particularly unappetizing flavour of cigarette ash. "Still, I am partial to the quills and I have a shopping list from my sister."

Zack held Kenzo's hand as they strolled through the bustling streets of Hogsmeade, taking in the sights and sounds around them. As they passed by the various shops and attractions, the sun was shining brightly, and the cool breeze was making their hair dance. Zack couldn't help but steal glances at Kenzo. Kenzo's beautiful grin and the way his eyes glittered in the sunlight captivated him. He couldn't help himself as he ruffled Kenzo's hair while muttering
"Cute."
to himself as he looked around. He stopped abruptly in the middle of the sidewalk, causing Kenzo to stumble slightly. As his attention remained fixed on the shop in front of them, he attempted to assist Kenzo in standing firm.

The shop that caught Zack's attention was located between J. Pippin's Potions and Honeydukes. Its storefront was painted in bold, bright colors, with the store's name displayed in large, golden letters above the entrance. The windows were decorated with posters of Quidditch players in action, and broomsticks of all shapes and sizes were propped up against the window display, enticing passersby to take a closer look. The door was made of dark wood and had a brass doorknob in the shape of a snitch. Above the door was a sign that read "Sprintwiches Sporting Needs - Your One-Stop Shop for Quidditch Equipment". The roof was made of red tiles, and a chimney on the side of the building puffed out white smoke, giving the impression that the store was warm and cozy inside.

Zack pointed across the street to the colorful storefront of Sprintwiches Sporting Needs.
"I completely forgot about this place! I've been wanting to check out their new customizable brooms and charms for weeks."

"Hey Kenzo, do you mind if we pop into this shop real fast?" I just want to look around for a bit,"
he said, politely. As he started to cross the street towards the shop.
"I promise I'll treat you to Brews and Stews after!"

As they entered the store, Zack's eyes widened in awe at the sight of all the different brooms and charms on display. The store was bright and spacious, with wooden shelves lining the walls and neatly arranged displays in the center of the room. The air was filled with the scent of leather and wood polish. He made a beeline for the section of enhancement charms, browsing through the selection and debating which ones to choose.

"These are so cool, Kenzo,"
he said, holding up a small silver wings charm that had a speed boost enhancement spell on it.
"I think I want to get one for my broom later."
He said to himself, Zack nodded and made his way over to the broom section, where he eagerly examined the different models on display. He picked up a sleek black racing broom, admiring its aerodynamic design, before moving on to a sturdy wooden broom that would be perfect for flying in rough weather.

Zack noticed a display of cloaks, gloves, and goggles on the nearby shelf. He couldn't resist taking a closer look, trying on a pair of leather flying gloves and a pair of sleek black goggles. As Zack was trying on the gloves and goggles, he noticed a display of cloaks on the nearby shelf. One of them caught his eye - a sleek black cloak that was charmed to protect against any weather conditions.

He slipped the cloak on and immediately felt a warm, protective aura envelop him.
"Wow, this feels amazing,"
he said, looking down at the cloak in wonder.

Suddenly, he had an idea.
"Hey, Kenzo, try this on,"
he said, taking off the cloak and helping the blonde put it on.
Zack couldn't help but smile; the black cloak looked even better on Kenzo than it did on him.

"You know what, Kenzo? I think that cloak looks better on you,"
Zack said, grinning.

As they strolled across the snow flat path towards Hogsmeade, Kenzo felt his heart beating fast as he kept gazing at Zack before looking away quickly. what’s wrong with me today? He thought, blinking quickly. He kept spacing out today. As they entered Hogsmeade he noticed many other students were also milling around, chatting and laughing. Guess that’s why the castle looked empty. Kenzo then closed his eyes, his cheeks pink and he inhaled the icy air before opening his eyes. Zack kept on looking at him too, which made Kenzo a bit hesitant. Was he judging him..? He didn’t know.

He then looked down at his shoes before he felt Zack’s hand on his hair. A shoot of electricity shot down his spine and he widened his eyes as he watched Zack ruffle his hair. He was silent for a moment before he spoke. “now I’ve got snow on my hair.” He huffed, pouting. Then he stopped. Kenzo was unprepared. He stumbled a bit before he looked up. “What was that for-“ he paused, eyeing the shop up and down.

Kenzo noticed the shop was decorated with quidditch supplies and he scrunched his nose. He never liked quidditch much. He hated heights. But it was clear that Zack loved quidditch. His eyes were shining like there were stars in them as he spoke. “Fine. Don’t take too long.” He muttered, the idea of sitting with Zack in Brews and Stews sounded awkward. Almost like a - no. Kenzo of course not. it wouldn’t be like a date of course, Zack might be straight anyways! Of course, if it was any other friend Kenzo would ignore them and refuse to go in, but Zack was different, he resentfully entered the shop with him, after all Zack was so excited to go inside.

as soon as they stepped in he closed his eyes, the warm air enveloping him and he gave a small sigh. Zack was looked the happiest in ages as he spotted the brooms and assortments. Kenzo couldn’t help but laugh a little bit as Zack scampered to the charms. He held one up and Kenzo leaned forwards, looking at it. Then Zack took a robe and flung it on himself. Kenzo looked away, a blush forming on his face. That was just too cute to look at. To his surprise, Zack flung it onto Kenzo himself. He was surprised, blinking twice before looking down at the comfy robe and gave a small smile. “yeah.. I suppose.” He mumbled. “Let’s go.”

he took the coat in his hands and walked past the charms shelf before subtly taking the charm Zack liked. “Wait for me outside, I saw something I liked.” He said before going to the counter and paying for the items. The witch at the front desk cracked a smile at him. “For your friend?” she asked, eyes twinkling. He swallowed, nodding before thanking her and walking out of the store and meeting up with Zack.

he then handed the bag to Zack. “Hey, can you hold this to me? I need to tie my shoelaces.” He said, bending down before pretending to tie them. after a few seconds he straightened up and turned to a random shop. “Let’s go.” He smiled before dragging Zack towards the shop, the gift already delivered into Zack’s hands.

Prudence Chase
277026.jpeg

Prudence frown trying to get over her embarrassment over the entire scene she had created. She heard Artemis comment which was surprisingly unemotional which was curious, even she could see the humour in this situation even if she was the butt of the joke. A giant normally so careful about her height to avoid being hit until a pretty face distracts her enough make her hit something. This was the material of admittedly cliché comedies. She would laugh herself if she saw it happened to someone else though would feel guilty afterward. Maybe Artemis was being kind in his own way or maybe he is humorous. Honestly he was sure how to feel about it either way.

She panicked slightly hearing him accuse her of wanting to go after Angelique. She turned quickly to him trying hard to avoid Angelique's gaze as if trying to disprove any suggestion about that. It was funny, she had seen others doing similar and know logically it was obvious she was trying to hide her interest, and always said it was better to own it. It was trully easier said than done. She could not help smirk at herself a little though it did not exactly make her be any more honest.

"No! Eh... No... Well, maybe a little but really i am hear to see you." She said trying to think quickly about what to say. "Echo... Echo asked me to pick you brain about something or another.... I admit I have forgot what, embarrassingly."
Letho Letho Wolfiee Wolfiee

Out of the corner of his eye, even as he focused on Prudence right then, Artemis still kept a relatively good view of some of the nearby tables... And in that exact moment his interest got temporarily caught by a small crowd gathering around his cousin's chosen spot - joining him and the possibly-Zabini girl from before. Well, that... Wasn't entirely unusual, either, seeing as Pierre generally tended to be more social than him - or at least social in a very different way... And yet the faces he did recognise made Artemis feel like that wasn't his relative's typical company.

With an unchanged expression - still politely, mildly curious - the blond glanced to the side, noting the presence of a girl he didn't quite recognise, a boy he... Well, he also didn't really know, to be honest, though that one he at least remembered from some of the classes Ravenclaw had shared with Gryffindors... And another one - that he actually could put a name to; the Slytherin prefect, Fischer.

No, definitely not typical company, then - and as Artemis thought about it, he grew more and more certain that something else was strange about it as well. Still... From a distance, it was difficult to tell more, to judge people's behaviour beyond the more animated, expressive of reactions...

Well, no matter; it would probably come to him later - or not.

For the time being, he had Angelique and Prudence to focus on, and to figure out what the latter wanted. He didn't think the two were friends, or - if they were - he at least had never been told about it... But the sudden attention, the embarrassment on Prudence's face - perhaps there was more to it than he had originally assumed? Mm, the Yule Ball was approaching fast...

Oh my.

After those two, three seconds of distraction, Artemis' gaze and interest were both back on Prudence, his head tilting slightly to the side in thought at the sight of her smile... No, not just any smile; a smirk. At least the embarrassment was apparently over, so he supposed this was an improvement. He much preferred it when people around him showed confidence, misplaced or not.

To be fair, it was not exactly with confidence that Prudence spoke then - but Artemis could appreciate the attempt nonetheless... And the idea of Echo, of all people, awaiting his opinion on something was rather intriguing as well, he had to admit. Not that he knew her very well, but he had always got the impression that she was quite... Self-sufficient.

And so they had his interest.

... Even if it could potentially be a ploy to make him leave Prudence and Angelique alone for some nefarious reasons - like, oh, one of them asking the other to the ball.

"And I suppose she is lurking somewhere nearby?" The question was answered with a nod from Prudence - and a quick glance around told Artemis that nearby in this case probably meant outside. If Prudence had just arrived... Then that made enough sense, and the realisation brought a sigh from the blond's lips, one that said clearly how much he was willing to suffer through for this. "Very well, I guess I could check what she needs from me."

That, however, was not an agreement to hurry up - and Artemis certainly took his time, starting with finishing his hot chocolate. His sketchbook was closed and returned into his bag - along with the pencil he had been using - and only at that point he finally stood up to put his cloak back on, silently enjoying the feeling of soft fur beneath his fingers. He was not looking forward to the weather outside...

Oh, the sacrifices he made.

"Be good, darling," he told Angelique without even looking at her as he grabbed his gloves, the final missing piece, and started sliding them on... Before glancing up at his friend after all, one corner of his lips slightly turning upwards. "Or don't be - if that's the more fun option. Prudence."

The last word was accompanied by a nod towards the other girl - a polite enough farewell. Admittedly, Artemis was still curious... But he would certainly hear more about this later. Right there and then, he had his rumoured sister to find.

... Actually, perhaps he should try asking her to accompany him the ball, just to see if he could still shock anyone that way.

A thought for later.

Getting through the crowd took him a moment - but soon Artemis found himself stepping outside, straight into the colder, harsher, but at least clearer winter air. That alone was enough to make his hands instinctively go up towards the wide hood of his cloak - bringing it up as another layer of defence against the cruel season... Though at the same time he already glanced around, hoping to catch a glimpse of characteristic long, blonde hair.

Mm, not by the entrance to the inn - not that he had been expecting that - and not nearby along the main street... But lurking, he had said earlier, and he had fully meant it - he didn't need any premonitions to know that he should probably look somewhere less in the open, like for example...

Ah, there.

"A pretty large bird told me you were asking for my expertise on something?" As he spoke, Artemis slowly approached the alley, loosely crossing his arms over his chest... Both to look nonchalant and because he still felt too cold, which were equally important reasons. "But then she got distracted, I'm afraid. Mating season, I guess."

Or at least it certainly always seemed that way right before the ball, which Artemis truly couldn't understand. To be fair, sometimes it was entertaining to watch... Especially whenever someone overestimated their chances and had a sudden meeting with reality. Mm, perhaps it wasn't so bad after all...

As Indigo was walking, she heard a familiar voice call out to her, and she paused her walking to take a look. Oh, there's Professor Nathaniel Grimmrose, the Transfiguration professor and Head of Slytherin! "Hello professor Grimmrose!" Indigo called out a greeting in return as she smiled. Indigo would love for the fellow professor to join her in the Hogsmeade trip; they continued to speak, "they have me chaperoning some students this year, but I don't mind it at all, the cold weather feels really nice. Please, feel free to tag along with me. I'd enjoy the company." Indigo confirmed with a small nod of their head.

"How's the test grading going, though?" Indigo inquired out of mere curiosity to her fellow professor, and she was patiently awaiting an answer from him. "I can't imagine being stuck inside grading tests though, that sounds boring." They casually commented whilst they walked.

Free butterbeers? How could Indigo possibly say no to that? Besides, a butterbeer sounds absolutely lovely right now and so does a warm fire. Not that the cold bothers Indigo of course. It's just that fires are very nice and warm. "Butterbeers on you?" They hummed, "how can I resist? Let's go!" Indigo smiled in response. Off to The Three Broomsticks they go! "We might meet some of the other professors there too." They spoke up cheerfully, knowing that surely a whole bunch of people would be gathered there for butterbeers, warm meals, and the fire.
