A clean-faced young man was leaning against the railing of a ship. The salty air was a nice change of breath from his room stuffy atmosphere and he didn't regret tagging along with the group after all. Faust looked happy with the change from his monotonous life. It wasn't that he regrets spending his time with his researches, but he loved to travel and explore the world as much as he loved his hobby. The open sea gave him a breathing space and he was able to set his eyes on the horizon.

His peace was soon disturbed by a chopper. More accurately, several of them.

Faust sighed out of annoyance. Couldn't he take a peaceful break without someone roaring through trying to catch him? When he was about to attack the chopper, one of the elites got to the problem before him with a gun. Though, the real solution seemed to be what the gunshot attracted. His eyes shone when he saw the gigantic whale-like human emerging from the water. Was it still human? The diversity of powered humans' physiology made him feel like a frog in a well, confined to his own shallow view.

He glanced to the side where two men were conversing, showing the same surprise he had shown when the whale emerged. He only had his eyes on one of them, a powered human with wings. It was a pity they were now on the same side. He would love to be able to look at his wings from up close, observing the tissues that construct it, the interactions between the muscles, how he could possibly replicate the structure of the wings...

But it was all in his mind.

No, he could only hope for the heroes that he would meet in the future to be as interesting as his acquaintances. The power of the so-called elites would be terrifying, even for him when combined. He shouldn't incur the wrath of a group with so many cards up their sleeve.

He turned his gaze back to the sea. A slight smile appeared on his face. The world was full of surprise. He couldn't wait what was around the next turn.

Animus
Ship - Deck

Initially, he was going to respond with an apology, the look of cringe on his face at bumping into someone and making them fall down wracked Desmond with a sense of guilt and nervousness he hadn't really expected. Especially when he saw the way her lip quivered. That all changed when he felt her aura though. Even before her friend moved to offer her a hand, Desmond felt it. The way her aura bubbled then suddenly switched to hissing whispered a hint of mischief to him. Mischief that he was familiar with enough to tell that neither her sniffle nor tears were genuine. He felt no genuine sadness within her aura and saw none of the signs that showed the emotional change. She wasn't actually hurt. She was just playing around.

S-She's making fun of me? He almost felt a little hurt when he took a step back in surprise and caution as she leaped up. He'd just gotten on the boat and already he'd met someone around his age who he was starting to think that perhaps they really wouldn't get along after all.

It was a bit disappointing. Like some of the few here, her aura was almost too hard to ignore. It had a certain unique liveliness to it. Kind of like-- "Kooooooooooon" -- yeah, almost like Kon.

Desmond paused with a confused look forming, Wait....who's Kon? Just as he was about to turn in the direction the others were looking in he heard a muffled rumble and the ship shook with the accompany of waves. And that's when he felt it.

A new presence. One that he didn't feel on the boat but one that came from down below.

Like a moth to the flame, everyone was tuned out and Desmond found his senses focusing on this new life, searching for it like a kid searched for their guardian at a store. For a few seconds he looked at the one who held the bunnies, glanced at the girl with highlights who'd been making fun of him and blankly stared at her friend who'd offered to help her up. After a few seconds of blank staring, his senses locked on to the source. It drew his eyes over to the sea, made his body move past the trio and towards the rails so he could stare down into the stirring waters below and hold balance as the ship rocked with every new crashing wave. He'd been staring for less than a few seconds before he felt water splash him and force him to shield his eyes. At first he thought it was a dolphin, odd as it might sound. But when he opened his eyes and watched her soar into the air and demolish those choppers that was when Desmond knew it was no dolphin. No dolphin crushed helicopters like paper and tore up metal like it was nothing.

Gripping to the rails for dear life his eyes widened in fear. Then his eyes moistened with tears. Not just for himself...but for the fear he felt from them. From those men. From those soldiers waiting for their end. It was like he was with them. Watching her approach before she submerged them all. Out of the survivors of the crash maybe one or two had a hint of courage in them, but even then Desmond knew it was to cover up the horrifying dread that felt so familiar and bubbled below.

For seconds he watched, his own heart pounding probably just as hard as theirs. Their fear overwhelmed him, blocked out every other emotion going on the boat and honed in on him then battered him to numbness like a person in heavy rain. He felt his hands shake, his eyes glisten, his body begin to sweat as that fear doubled and tripled just when the living Nessy got too close to the crash site.

Then they were gone, the fear, horror, anger, and dread going with them. When he felt their lives snuff out he felt a power within him surge then grow eerily silent. It was only the sound of speakers blaring that brought him back to reality.

Don’t be alarmed,. " -it was far to late for that- "that’s another one of your elites. She is a massive child yet she’s more skilled and dangerous than all of you so don’t try anything with her. Anyways, we’ll be getting to the base soon, in the meantime... " He didn't hear the rest. Desmond fell to his knees and stared out to the lake.

A tear trickled down his cheek then another and his grip only tightened on those rails. "Sometimes..." he exhaled a shaky breath and felt his whole body shiver, "sometimes....I really hate these powers." He said it so quietly you'd have to have been next to him to hear it.

He knew what it felt like to nearly die. If he'd known he'd be coming on a boat ride only to experience the very feelings of people near death's door themselves he would have vehemently refused to ever come here in the first place.

If he'd known everything would've gone so south in his attempt to get his friends then maybe he should've stayed home. Endured life and just did what Lawrence had told him the last time they'd met. At least then he wouldn't have to feel this again...I should have listened he told himself. And try as he might to stand, his body wouldn't listen. He couldn't move.

He wasn't sure he wanted to just yet.

Omni found no benefit in continuing to speak with the oversized metal hunk of junk. Honestly this wasn’t being conductive to the overall plan she had at all. She was just about to walk away when she hear the helicopters approach. She turned to the side of the deck backing up as she stared up at the approaching threat. She hardly had time to even worry about them getting away from them before the Red haired man when and shot a bullet into the Sea, from the sound of it anyways, summoning forth some morbidly half human looking whale. In an instant all four choppers had plummeted into the murky sea, that was now beginning to show streams of red blood mixing and fading in.
She stood still wondering just what she had gotten herself into. Was this really the group she joined? It may still be dim and dark but there was no mistaking that monstrosity. She suddenly felt ill would she really be able to survive with this type of group? God she hoped they didn’t expect them to be giant murder machines as well. If they tried to throw her at a group of villains she was out, training or no training. She may have been interested in increasing her power but the risks just were worth it. Not that she would say anything now with no means of escape and a giant killer something just off the edge of the boat. She turned back to see the Visored Man glaring at her. Part of her just wanted to flip him off and say go suck a dick, but she instead gave him a glare of equal strength not letting her body language betray her intentions at all. She didn’t care what he thought at this point in the game it was probably nothing good, she turned back to Beau as she dropped her glare.
“Well it seems like that’s a pretty good signal to get the off the top deck now isn’t it? To be very honest I intend to head straight for the cabin floor though I imagine quite a few will be headed to this bar to get drunk after that show.”
She didn't wanna stick around the armored male any longer than needed but she wanted to make it clear that out of everyone here Beau was the only one she had felt was secure enough to handle having to room with. After all when it came down to it she really just couldn't trust the mental state of anyone but she at least had the factor of them both spending quite a bit of time watching each others movements. He may not stay an ally forever but for at least tonight she could expect that he wouldn't stab her in her sleep.

Are You Listening

Was this woman serious right now? Red knew that she had been gaga but she’d always shown some form of reasonable control, he wouldn’t allow her to be his squad so often otherwise. He was actually really annoyed right now, it was one thing to be questioning in private but it was an entire other to be questioning him in front of new recruits, he didn’t stand for power plays. He already allowed her a great deal of leeway just because she was a good fighter that knew how to listen to orders. It seemed she was already forgetting he was above her in standing, trying to use her power like that to show displeasure.
He was quick to use a great deal of force to yank her forwards by their intertwined hands. He used his other to grab her by the chin and jerked her head to the side to whisper into her ear, he didn’t quite care for who heard but there would be no interrupting them. He let out a low growl in her ear before leading into a smooth whisper.
“Well now, had you asked me maybe you’d know now wouldn’t you? I do not appreciate this type of ridiculousness. Don’t mistake tolerance for affection, if you really wanna stay pleasant than you won’t be doing this again got it. You’re smart aren’t you? You don’t wanna keep making me angry do you Samantha?”
He let go of both her hand and her chin but didn’t make any move back. He had no intention of letting her move until she realized just how much she had lowered his opinion of her. It’s too bad she was just his type too, devoted, cute, and able to carry her own weight. If only she’d learn to cool it then he’d not really need to keep watching over her. By now she should realize that to him the group always took first place. The fact that he was as nice to her as he was should already show her that she wasn’t completely hated.

Samantha was stunned by his harshness. Her smile instantly turning to shock as he jerked her close to him and forced her to turn her head so he could whisper into her ear. His words where harsh and cruel telling her that she shouldn't take his "tolerance for Affection", Instantly making her tear up just slightly as he spoke. Honestly it kinda tore her down. Up until now she had thought his "tolerance" was affection for her so to find out it wasn't was a little bit of a blow to her. As he pulled his hand away and let go of her she frowned and looked down. seeing that he didn't move she hesitated but slowly leaned into him. Pressing her forehead into his chest she gently grabbed onto his shirt. "Im sorry." She said quietly as she nuzzled into his chest to hide the small look of sadness she had. She knew she wouldn't leave his side no matter what he did unless he asked her to leave and he would probably not throw her out but. Still it hurt to hear. Silently she pulled away her head down a little as she stood there unknowing of what to do. "It wont happen again sweetheart." She said softly as she took a small step back. Walking past him slowly she moved to the nearby rail of the ship. "You alright Atlas?" Brutus asked softly. "Of course shes not dim wit."
"Yes shes alright. A warrior doesn't let things like this tear them down."
The three conversed in her mind as she looked out to the sea. Bringing her elbows to the railing she leaned on it and sighed just a little. "Don't worry about it Atlas he doesn't mean it you know that! And if he does just punch him HAHA!" Sana said to try and cheer her up but it didn't work. Glancing back at Red to see if he had went off to leave her alone or come to her before he looked back to the see and pouted a little. "he yelled at me." She said quietly as she leaned onto the rail more and looked down to the water flowing past the ship. "Does he really not feel for me?" She asked quietly to no one in particular.

Zeus
Big Ass Ship - Up Top (Deck)

Seeing choppers approaching overhead was the first thing to catch Zeus' attention. Watching a giant mermaid that wasn't really a mermaid, leap into the air and crush two metal birds was more surprising than anything.
Note to self, he thought in awe as she submerged back into the waters, Don't piss that one off. That statement was only made clearer when he felt the entire ship shake then felt someone bump promptly into him and make him stumble thanks to imbalance being more than just a bit off. Stumbling towards rails and stopping himself from getting sucker punched by an unmovable object, Zeus let a 'phew' then rounded towards the one who'd bumped into him.
"Oh", he muttered. It's a chick. He shrugged, Well I guess that's alright then. He approached his winged friend, and while noticing she was wiping something off Cira's armor, he didn't bother to say much of a word, simply assuming she was just a bit disoriented due to the shaking and may have poured coffee on him or something. "You....you guys think if we tried to feed that thing she'd give us a ride on her back?" he asked randomly.

If he was going to have a showdown with some sort of giant mecha beast in the future, then he wanted it to be in fucking style or no style at all.

Rally pulled herself away from Kuroi’s grasp to go examine the boy she’d bumped into. He seemed unnerved? Quiet? Scared? Was he looking for something before? That’s what she thought so why’d he stop. She waved a hand in front of the boy’s face. Was he alright? This wasn’t good she liked to prank people but she didn’t want them to actually get hurt, at least not anyone that wasn’t a hero. The giant helicopters were annoying but they were gone now so what was wrong?
“Hey hey are you okay? The heroes are all gone now. There’s nothing to worry about, see we’re safe here on the boat we have the massive elite whale thingy protecting us. The dude on the mic even said so, and there’s tons of space to hang out. We aren’t even at the base yet and there’s already so much stuff.”
She was actually getting a bit worried was he not okay? That wasn’t gonna be any fun. She turned back to the boy she was ignoring for awhile. The color drained a bit from her face as she worried that a new toy could have broken. She didn’t see why he was reacting that way. Even the lizard dude was still okay and he was almost left behind. She went back to Kuroi and stood on her tip toes to reach him and whisper back in his ear.
“Kuroi, Kuroi he’s being weird what happened? Did he break? How do we get him to be better again?”
She turned back to stare at the boy that seemed to be effected heavily from something even though she didn't understand why. His collapse had scared her, she didn't smell anything in the air and he wasn't hit by anything. Would smelling salts help? Damn she couldn't even risk moving him if it was a poison that induced shock. She continued to panic shaking Kuroi's hand side to side out of a nervous habit.

Kuroi _Even Nii-san has problems_

Kuroi felt a great deal of internal struggle when faced with the choice of either running and pull his bunny brother and sticking to his little sister and finding out why this new comer had frozen. Nii-san had kicked in hard-core in this moment, the boy looked like a deer in the headlights and Rally was turning to him for support. Besides his bunny brother seemed to safe at the moment, though the desire to pick the other up screaming 'nopenopenopenope' while running away was incredibly tempting. In the end, he decided on his little sister.

With but a glance to the bun-bun boy, his full attention was turned to his little sister and the boy. During the entire ordeal he hadn't noticed the helicopters, nor the giant 'whale' or any of those things that a regular human being would at least take a glance at. Though he'd heard she was one of the elites, he didn't really turn to look, far too focused on keeping his family happy to really be paying attention. Kuroi stared at the boy studying him for a moment, Rally was concerned for him which meant he had to act concerned as well.

Kuroi's face had set itself to one of extreme calmness, "allow me to take a look." his voice was tinged with a slight seriousness, trying to convey his care of the situation. A little trick he'd picked up a while ago. So he did take a light look, the boy seemed fine on the outside. Though frozen in place he didn't seem hurt or injured, more or less completely frozen in what seemed like shock. His expression pinched as he started rationalizing. People usually only froze when dying or having a high stress reaction to something. Yet the boy seemed to be fine on the outside, and with most poisons there would at least be some outside sign. Maybe gasping for air or shaking.

Yet there was none of it, so to the other rationalization. Kuroi couldn't wrap his head around it, why would a villain be having something like that? Could it have been in reaction to the thing he hadn't seen yet heard from his little brother? Going with that assumption, it could have been. The boy in question could have had a fear of that, to which the high stress of the situation wouldn't be in question and Kuroi's new theory made sense. He was simply having a 'Freeze' reaction to the situation, instead of fight or flight.

And so new theory in tow, he turned to Rally and spoke "I believe he is simply shocked about something, though over what I cannot for the life of me figure out." His expression and tone matched the frustration he'd had trying to figure it out. He shook his head slightly, having gotten himself actively interested in the boy now.

The Death Doctor
The Death Doctor was heading to his room when he noticed the small crowd gathering around someone. He pushed the small girl away to examine what it was, only to see a boy curled up in fear. “Hang on, I’m a Doctor. Don’t get close.”

The man squatted down and without hesitation, grabbed the man to hold him still while he examined his eye. The robotic eye shrunk, turning into a straight beam while he examined the boy. “This man is in shock.” The Doctor seemed to state what was already known before walking towards a barrel, removing the sheet and wrapping it around Desmond. “Now, you all keep him comfortable, don’t try anything. Powers are known to activate in times of anxiety, and with more force than usual. I don’t want to take the whale to the base and neither do you. She’s one of the reasons we needed new recruits.” He left it unclear if this was just to scare the others while his back was turned to Desmond or if he was actually telling the truth. Either way, he seemed dead serious about it.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan saw the orange haired girl and her friend begin to walk away from him. In his mind he disliked people like that, those who try to deceive others and make the situation better for them by twisting words. Although he couldn't exactly blame her, to everyone else here he appears to have something to hide. After all his entire body is covered within a suit with his head hidden. She was trying to get information on him, see his weaknesses, and exploit whatever situation came of it. Anyway it didn't work, but she did bring up a good point. With this boat only being the transport while on the way to the main base, it may be best to head under the deck. So he began to follow the others down into the ship.

As he made his way down into the first level and walked around to see a long hallway with a few doors on each side. He decided to look around the ship for a bit, as he didn't hear the majority of the mans explanation of the layout. He got some important parts of where not to exactly go, but asides from that is was an adventure. He walked down the hall and got to the end of it all looked at a doorway. If he recalled correctly there was a bar on the first lower deck somewhere, he just didn't know exactly where. He walked in and low and behold there was what looked reminiscent of a bar. He saw three other people inside the bar, but didn't walk up to them or start conversation. Instead he walked up to the counter and laid a hand on it, looking around in the room.

To be honest, the ragged looking woman walking up to him was unexpected, yes, but the events of a giant whale coming out of the sea and crushing two helicopters kept him from responding to much at first. He heard her speak, and also felt her hand on his shoulder. It was nearly as unexpected as the whale. Most women tend to keep their distance from him, but given that the boat was filled with people like him, and that she was leaning against him to keep herself up, it soon made more sense. But what didn't make sense was the sudden bleeding. He was immediately sent into a panic mode, watching her wrap up her arm, he spoke out, "Ma'am, I think you might want to see a doctor about that. The wound, not the not noticing pain." He said as she finished wrapping her wounds. She was leaning on him at this point, and now he felt a bit obliged to help her out. Worst case scenario, he would just cauterized the wound right here. But that could end up with him just charring the woman. And he didn't quite want that reputation, nor the guilt to be carried with him just yet.
He turned his head, the woman now cleaning off a blood print she had left on his clothes, that would likely have to be bleached out, his wings still up in the air, sprinkles of water on them from the splash of the whale, to look at Zeus, who asked him perhaps one of the stupidest questions he had ever heard. "Of course it would. You feed me enough I'm inclined to a favor as well. Thats the way the world works, trade and what not." He answered his friend.

She nodded silently for Fence to her. His offer to mix her a drink was pleasant, but she couldn't really get drunk. Her inhumane metabolic system flushed out the alcohol before the intoxication effect could cloud her mind. Frankly, only alcohol for sterilizing wound could affect her slightly; She had tried it. It wasn't very pleasant. A resigned sigh escaped her lips. Her power was a blessing as she became immune to poison, but some worldly pleasure would never be able to be grasped by her. Everything has a price.

"I think I prefer mocktail over alcohol," Lilian said, "my alcohol level of tolerance is a bit troublesome."

As she expected, the bar was filled with several people. The black armoured man was present, though how he intends to drink with his helmet on eluded her. A person who she judged to be someone with cybernetical implant was also there. The remaining two presences were a woman with an extremely revealing clothes (don't she get cold?) and a man with a superfluous glasses. With numerous cans around the woman, she must be drunk. Involuntarily, Lilian released another sigh.

How good must it be to have a murky mind once in a while?

Johnny Disco | Ship's Bar

Disco nodded as Lilian spoke. "Ah yes, of course. I remember you saying that when you first came to me." After all, Disco did most of his business from his bar, so the chances were that is where Lilian and Disco first met. Not only did it provide a brilliant cover for deals such as his own, he had several armed men under his payroll who would be glad to fire at whoever wanted to harm Disco. Of course, they think that they are just defending the bar from thugs or thieves, but they don't need to know the full story. No-one needs to know the full story. In fact, when it came to Disco, no-one did. Not even trusted customers like Lilian knew where Disco came from - chances are, it wasn't his real name. No-one is called Disco. What his real name was, however, and where he came from is something not even the most elite of trackers and detectives can figure out. Not that they'd want to, of course, if Disco plays his cards right.

With a chuckle, Disco headed behind the bar. "Well, if you want something, just ask." As he spoke, he started to create a cocktail - one of his bar's most well known cocktails, in fact. He calls it the Disco Special, but it was very similar to an African Sunrise. There were a few changes, of course, but the basic concept was still there - coffee and vodka in the same glass. It was his mother's recipe, or so he claims, but that didn't really reveal much.

Taking his drink in his right hand, he moved around the bar to sit on on of the counter stools and just sat there. He stared into his glass as he thought, contemplating...well, it was almost impossible to tell what he was contemplating. Was he thinking about other jobs? Was he planning for the future? Was he remembering the past? No-one knew with Disco. Just as he liked it.

It was really only a matter of time before people began to fill the bar, and that was a good thing to him. It was getting lonely in here, and silence is probably the one thing he can't take. Well... that and heavy metal. But anyway, people began to fill the bar, the first one he noticed was a woman with tits the size of watermelons, nothing he hadn't seen before, and then came a man who... looked fairly normal. Either he's a psychic or some sorta augmented human. Just the vibe he gave off was that sorta thing. Anyways, there was then a fairly normal person who looked more like a bookworm then a villain. Still, she was cute, and he would probably end up giving her a free drink. Even if the drinks were already free, he figured he could make some pocket change. Then, talking to her was a man of color, with stark white hair wearing orange tinted sunglasses. Looked kinda try-hardy, but he had seen people like this before. The guy also had a robotic hand, which was cool, but again, he'd seen it before. And before he could really do anything, he found the man behind the bar, which was immediately a no-go. Red would probably throw him out for that, so, in order to prevent any sort of future complications, he got up from his stool and spoke. "Hey, pally. Don't wanna sound too much like a cop, but you shouldn't really go behind the bar. Red gets pissy about it. Sorry, but if you want mixed drinks, I can handle it just as well as him." He finishes as he starts walking behind the bar, gesturing him to get out.

Isla Finished cleaning the blood stain as he spoke of her wound and a doctor. Immediately she giggled a little before feeling a bit dizzy again and leaning against him once more. "Don't worry about me sweet heart it isnt that big of a deal anyways. Just a little spell and ill be fine." She said as she leaned against him heavily. Pulling out her spell book she made sure she wouldn't fall off of him before she opened it. instantly a small circle formed around her feet
Formal_Magic_Circle.jpg
Slowly her eyes turned a dead white as she started speaking.
"hassss enashiii. davorriss enagaliii vass aaa." As she spoke the blood that still covered her arm seemed to flow backwards. Though it wasn't much it would help her till she could get to her room and got one of her spirits she had to fix her, as the blood flowed back into her arm she seemed to get a little bit f energy back. Then she closed the book and the circle disappeared and her eyes turned less dead than they had been. Shaking her head as she groaned a little. "Whew! God that always feels weird. Trust me when I say if you ever get into necromancy don't go into the blood magic parts of it cause it is weird as fuck." She said before giggling a little then suddenly her giggling stopped as she looked to the man she leaned on. "uhh hehe sorry if I freak you out." She said before sending him an innocent smile

Alan || Carbon Dragon
Location: Red's Bar

Alan looked around the room and saw that it was a standard bar set up. In the underground during his self-imposed hiding, he had been to plenty of different bars, some good and some were just plain awful. He didn't care about the look of the place, only if the alcohol was good enough, but even then Alan wouldn't stay at the same bar for long if it was good. Here though he was seeing more people walk in, but none were the red-haired man from earlier that said this was his bar. Alan Scanned the room once more and caught a glimpse of a woman staring at him. Come to think of it; he might have seen her stare at him when they were on deck. Both times it was a stare out of curiosity obviously, still though if he were to get any information out of anyone Carbon may start with her. Despite this though he stayed where he was near the bar and waiting for something else to happen.

Atlas

Atlas was disheartened to say the least. after staying there a minuet she got up. "I need a drink." She said softly as she turned back to face the stairs. Her eyes couldn't help but trail to Luca as she debated going back to him and Begging forgives though she knew now wasn't the time or the place for it. Right now her and the other Elites had to establish that they were the strongest and the deadliest of everyone on board and emotional situations weren't how you did that. "Good idea Atlas. You should wait for the right time to confront him on this matter." Eris chimed in making Samantha sigh a little. Walking past the groups of Newbies and to the stairs she quickly descended into the ship and went to Red's bar Though she stopped as soon as it came into view as her eyes settled on a similar looking black armored man. "Carbon?! Why the fuck is a military hero here?!?!" Sana Chimed in as Samantha mentally agreed. "That's a good question." Samantha said as she studied him before walking into the bar area. Immediately She went behind the bar. "Wasn't expecting you here." She said bluntly as she walked to a bottle of scotch. her back being to Carbon as she pulled out a whiskey glass and popped open the bottle. Gently pouring a glass of the liquor into the glass she then picked the glass up and turned around to face Carbon with a questionable look. "We must be cautious with this interaction Atlas. Given your past with him he might be under cover here." Brutus said softly in Samantha's mind as she locked eyes with Carbon. Gently bringing the glass to her lips she took a small drink of the Scotch. Pulling the cup away she gently licked her top lip to rid it of the residue the Liquor left there. Expertly Atlas studied Carbon as well as the surrounding area if it did come to him being undercover and him engaging her due to a blown cover.

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Before the having the chance to act, Carbon saw a familiar face enter the bar. While his helmet remained roughly on the other occupants, his eyes stayed on that person. Atlas, much like him a former hero although abandoned the path for a much different reason. They had worked together on two separate occasions, which was the most he had worked with any other hero or hero team back then. He deserted before she had, although not by much given how when he still received up to date news she had abandoned at the time. Alan saw her study him and watched as she went to the bar and grabbed a drink. So this is where she ended up? He thought to himself as he tracked her on his radar and acted like he hadn't noticed they were there. He remained like this until she spoke to him, where he finally turned and faced her for the first time in years. That was when he finally spoke. "It's good to see you too." He said in his regular tone, as he always had talked to her.

After hearing her question and see her facial expressions it was clear her demons were speaking to her. Alan Had seen her powers in action personally and had to admit despite initial appearances she was not someone to be taken lightly. When they had worked together the first time Alan still had that basic heroic sense in him, but when the second time came along however his current views had set in yet she was one of few that he still considered a hero. "Neither did I, until I got a letter from that computer screen. I had honestly expected to remain in hiding until I got captured." He said now looking at her through his helmet. She seemed suspicious of him, and she had a reason, a former ally who hadn't turned up for years just suddenly appears here. "Don't worry Samantha, I'm not here to get info and get out. That'd be a suicide mission after seeing that human whale. I'm here because I believe the world's corrupt and it needs to change, and so far this is the best opportunity, so I took it. Now if I regret taking it, that hasn't been decided yet." He said calmly finally aiming his helmet up at her entirely, giving off his usual intimidating glare.

The Oil Rig
The boat kept a steady pace, cutting through the water like a knife through hot butter. There was a blare from the horn as a storm could be seen ahead. The whirling winds were harsh, so dense that the other side couldn’t be seen.

The ship was heading right towards the wall of wind, the elites having no fear in their eyes. With another sound, the giant siren from before moved forward. The whale mermaid guided the ship, her body creating in a hole wide enough for the ship to travel through. Once they got past the storm, there was a perfectly calm sea. In the middle lay a massive grounded oil rig. Wielded together by unknown metals to increase the size. It really looked like the lair of some mad psycho and his group of misfits.

The boat was docked at the bottom, a winding stair case their way to the top. Once they traveled there, they’d be greeted by the familiar tv head. “Hello there. I am your leader, Data. This will be your home for the long run. As you could probably tell, we’re all wanted. This doesn’t concern me though, in fact, it pushes our plans one step forward. However, it’s already getting late. We’ll discuss our first operation in the morning, until then the elites will show you to your quarters.” He was about to walk away, but halted in his tracks. “Oh, and for those who killed the heroes, you’ll be getting a special thanks from me, and your rank will be heightened. And the ones who ran....you’ll have the honor of serving Nadine, and careful, she’s a biter.” The happy splash of an alien mammal could be heard below to the well trained ear.

Data looked over at his daughter, then at Red Baron, signaling him to take the recruits away while he took her to her room. The man stopped again as his daughter tugged on his shirt. “They’re going to die, aren’t they?” The tv head gave a low shush before squatting in front of her “Maybe. But it isn’t your problem, my static angel.” He continued his walk, letting out a low chuckle.

Her leaning was getting heavy it felt like. Or that could just be his patience making it heavier, either way, it should come to end soon. But, like the majority of things before this, Cira reacted too late, as an intricate white circle formed around her feet, her eyes turning white and stale, and her voice hollow, as if through some sort of veil. What followed was her speaking. It sounded backwards, and wrong. As if the words shouldn't have been spoken or heard by anyone but her. It was... confusing at first to see it happen, the white circle and her eyes form, and even perplexing was her blood scrawling back up her arm, into her wound and sealing itself. It was something that Cira had only seen in horror movies before, and now for him to see it in front of his own eyes, he was a little short from scared. But, it would be foolish of him to act out on this feeling. Especially since he still doesn't know where her motives lie. Her next words broke his mental seal a bit and gave him a slight headache. Not out of annoyance, but rather confusion. She apologizing for the fear that she instilled in him. It... was genuine. Or at least sounded as such. What added to this was her smile. "O-oh, it's nothing." he said as the blush began to run to his face. He turned into his now lowered wing, trying to hide his face. "... Could you please stop leaning on me though?" This rush of embarrassment was enough for him to ignore the message sent out over the ship, though he did manage to get the gist of it. They'd be living out at sea, and we're wanted. Not much of a change to him, save the location.

50 Super-Humans Walk Into a BarAbby had jumped on the boat with the rest, she blended into the crowd. Once on the boat she split from the crowd soon after the introduction speech. Slightly annoyed but none the less sticking around. The first thing that rang into her mind was 'I want a drink'. So the bar was a obvious choice for her to sate the thirst. A Irish Coffee was the perfect pick-me-up, a good smooth drink to take the suspense out of a stressful situation but keeps you nice and alert. Abby ran into a dilemma, she was wearing her combat gear even still. While it was great for combat, day to day living was very difficult. Abby lifted her hands up to the mask's back and unhooked the tension locks holding the mask to her face, the inside was very well padded and the beak was stuffed with a large dose of lavender. The ventilation in the mask was at the beak, making the smell quite pleasant. Abby laid the mask on her little bar table and started to nip at her beverage. Abby couldn't take a drink well, being a lightweight and shot person. 2 shots of 100 proof brandy will hit her like a truck.
It was long before more flooded into the bar, some talking and such. It wasn't long before some started to discuss different topics, a man in armour, someone talking to them.... She thought about walking over and joining the conversation. That was before we started cross through the storm wall and the large horn on the ship blared. That snapped Abby immediately out of her chain of thought and changed it to 'I Cant wait!'. Abby hopped out of her seat.... after taking a long sip from her Irish Coffee and grabbing her mask. Abby hurried upwards moving from the bar towards the docking ramps. Abby moved to the ramp and off the boat as quick as convenient. She tried to avoid stumbling due to the drink shes had but doing it a few times. It really didn't take much to give her a buzz. Abby made it up the staircase long winding staircase with general ease, as being high up is a good encouragement to be precise. Once she made it up with the rest she simply listened.
Her reaction was one more of neutrality than disappointment, she never expected to kill a hero to get a promotion. So it wasn't that disappointing, there will be many more chances. Abby finally put her mask back on after the speech was over. Loving the smell it gave her once again.

It took me so long to learn how to use this BBCode, I felt really inadequate posting without it. :-_-lines:

Despite the glare Samantha was completely unfazed by him as she poured herself another drink after finishing her first. "Despite his words We should keep a close eye. Men of his skills are trained to be perfect liars, Able to convince most anyone of what they want to. We must be Diligent." Eris said softly as Samantha took another sip of her drink. "Well you cant blame me for my suspicions. You military types are always back and forth with allegiances." She said casually as she heard the sounds of storms sounded in the distance. Knowing what that meant she quickly downed the rest of her drink in one swift gulp before she washed the cup out and set it with the rest. Then she looked in the general direction of everyone in the bar and clapped her hands twice loudly to get there attentions before she spoke. "Alright everyone I hate to interrupt any conversations but we are nearing our destination. So if you will all head to the upper deck it would be greatly appreciated." She called out to all in the bar as her eyes scanned over each one individually to make sure they were all paying attention. Once she knew everyone heard her she gestured to the door for them to go. She knew Data didn't want an stragglers so Samantha was gonna make sure everyone that was around her right now would be where Data wanted them. once everyone was gone she closed up the bar quickly before following suit. As she climbed off the ship she made her way through the crowd to where the other elites were. "Atlas will we be training later?" Brutus asked making Samantha nod to herself. "Yes we will be." She said softly. Scanning the crowd of new recruits before she glanced over to red then back to the crowd. Once Data had dismissed everyone Samantha turned and started for one of the elevators up. Not really looking to lead anyone to there quarters as she made her way for the elevators

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan looked at her and then visibly let out a very light chuckle that didn't even last for a second. Atlas was never one to get intimidated, and to be honest his glare through the visor habit is done without even thinking now. "You're right I don't blame you. In fact, you have every reason to distrust me." Is all Alan said as he felt the boat rock and the sounds of wind hitting the boat. While it was striking, he decided to take one last look around the bar. It was still the same, save for a girl wearing a fancy witch doctor outfit at the bar. After they had faced the brunt of the storm, he looked up to see Atlas bring everyone to attention and calling out orders. While Carbon had thought of it, what she did confirmed that she is now one of the leaders of this group. He waited for everyone to leave except Atlas and then he exited, heading towards the top deck.

He and everyone else were there, albeit he was more to the side but within view of the computer screen. He looked up and saw the giant oil rig in the background like something ripped out of a novel cover. After hearing his speech, he saw everyone making their way onto the platform. The thought of some reward for killing the hero didn't interest him in the slightest, although he would still take it. After most had walked up, he decided to make his way up and onto the rig itself. When he reached its primary level, he looked around to see others doing the same. Alan looked around to find something that resembled a bedroom. After searching for a little while he saw these quarters, they were describing. He laid down on the bed and he heard it creak from the weight of his suit. The most sensible thing would be to just take it off. However, Alan didn't want these people knowing what he looked like anyways, not yet at least.

Isla couldn't help but chuckle as the man seemed to blush and hide his face in a wing of his. Giggling she spoke. "As you wish. Though i do recommend you work on that embarrassment face, Your shit at hiding a blush. Lad. Ye dont know when a sweet Las il come along." She said with a giggle as the old Scottish tone seemed to come back for a little bit. Shaking her head a little again before she reached her arms up, entwining her fingers as she stretched, arching her back with a small squeak before she sighed and turned to the man. "Well best not keep our new bosses waiting hmm?" She said to him before she walked off the boat. Hearing the small speech from the man named data she couldn't help but wonder if the tv was his actual head. Then she heard of getting room's and instantly perked up. "Good i can finish healing!" She said to her self as she clapped her hands happily

My New Home!Abby started to look around for some semblance of a place to sleep once they were dismissed. She figured that she would follow the crowd but she found that boring. She left a touch earlier than the rest and looked for some place to lie down. She was tired as hell and needed to be well slept for her work. After all, money doesn't grow on trees, and while she isn't 100% sure she gets paid for this, it's a good chance for nice pay. After all that woman on the boat owned a bar!
Abby found herself wandering absent mind-idly, and tried to look for someone she has at-least seen before nearby.
She noticed a few people going to rooms, most notably though, is the man clad in the heavy steel suit that she saw talking in the bar earlier. She was going to talk to him earlier and she considered talking to him now. After a good few seconds of thinking, he was already out of sight & inside his room. With that concluded she walked to the door over and went into a compact room. It was simply 2 twin sized beds, 2 dressers and a lamp next to each bed. Abby wasn't initially pleased with the setup but figured she would have to make due. She found chairs in the rooms storage, so she could use the top of the dresser as a table top for tinkering. Abby did just that, taking off her mask, and unlocking the armored parts of her costume leaving her silky red hair to flow out over her shoulders; unhinged by a clips or masks. Then she took her boots off and set them next to the dresser. It was a relaxing experience to unwind after so much stress and travel. Abby collapsed on her bed, not even bothering to pull the covers over herself and she fell asleep like a rock. Exited for the next day but slightly fearful. Just what did the TV man mean by 'bitter'?
