QUEEN FAENIRE RAIA ALREAUS

The Queen of Orh. A Lessana who holds a great position in Orh. She is known to have an aura of great authority wherever she goes, and though she shows a certain softness to her subjects she greatly values order. She isn't merciful towards those who seek to disturb it and especially criminals. Before her ascension to the throne, she is known to rain down spears of light to her opponents on the battlefield alongside King Arundolyn when they were younger, and as such people keep in mind that although she may be the Queen now who is busy with handling their Kingdom she is still a fierce mage that can do devastating magic.

KING ARUNDOLYN MEDESICAS-ALREAUS

Arundolyn Medesicas-Alreaus of House Amier is a name whispered among soldiers more than the noble families. Known best for his exploits on the battlefield, his leadership in the “Crimson Raiders” was paved with grand successes and minimal injuries in multiple skirmishes throughout the temporary “ceasefire”. However, his greatest achievement was being able to take down a Titan hangar in Thyrea. The fight with the Titan ended up in a draw and no one is quite sure how it ended, but Arundolyn had returned and needed months to recover his strength. He was pulled from the army and was sent to marry Faenire Alreus. His presence in the court is not as imposing as it is on the battlefield; however, his word is still respected but he’s known to defer to the Queen of Orh.

Typically, he can be seen in the castle or meeting with generals.

Members of the Order

MATRIARCH MIVRIX FARRENHAL

Matriarch Mivrix Farrenhal is the current head of the Order of the Chosens. A woman respected and feared due to her role in the Order and mastery over Hexing and necromancy. She strictly leads the Order according to the religion's principles, with the ultimate propagation of magic as her primary focus. Mivrix devoted her entire life to the Order, serving as an Archpriest for two decades before rising to the top.

Mivrix's most famous feat is the subjugation of the Undying King, Ulric. The behemoth of a ghost once tramped the Thyrean wasteland, laying waste upon the Orhian foothold on the isle after its accidental awakening. The catastrophe caused the loss of several Archpriests; however, it was Mivrix and the former Head's cohered efforts that led to the colossal's defeat. The pair managed to weaken and seal Ulric into a phylactery which they brought back to the Cathedral.

ZOCRUX FARRENHAL

The eldest son of Matriarch Mivrix Farrenhal. Much like the rest of his family, Zocrux devoted her life to the Order and is a respected member of the clergy. It's known that he's passionately trying to follow his mother's footsteps, opting to become the next head of the Order.

Zocrux is currently an elite exorcist, having the same rank as his sister although he wouldn't appreciate being put in the same level as her. He is ambitious and confident in his abilities as a shadow mage, albeit fiercely loyal to the religion nonetheless.

IGWIL HANWAL

An Elder Archpriest who leads the only Chapter in the Orhian foothold at Thyrea. Archpriest Igwil is a small and stocky man (no taller than 5'4") who is known among the clergy for his altruism. He was once one of the most viable candidates for Headship before the former leader of the religion passed; however, he began losing favor when he tried to suggest fair rights for the half-borns. While decades have passed since then, Archpriest Igwil never managed to repolish his reputation amongst the clergy and the council. There are rumors which say that his delegation to the most dangerous Chapter in the entire Harmonia is a cloaked death sentence from the Matriarch herself.

The Archpriest is a mage of Mezan, capable of borrowing the strength of a beast as well as possessing a small following of Egnarions which he considers as family.

DELMONT VELWYR

Delmont is one of the many priests who hide his identity behind a mask. He is an accomplished water mage of his own right. Words say that he used to be an outlaw who was converted to become a part of the clergy about a decade ago. While he possesses no skill in exorcism, his remarkable skills and former experiences qualified him to be sent to Xogora alongside Archpriest Igwil.

LORD CEDRIC YDRAPEST

Also known as the Plaguebearer, Lord Cedric is the current Head of Shantor. Lord Cedric is a powerful Shantorian mage capable of casting plague-related curses and major illusions. Due to the nature of his spells, he is not one to approach danger head on, instead relying on smart tactics and advance preparations. He is a cunning tactician with a cold and hard exterior.

Lord Cedric has been in position for over a decade. Furthermore, he is supportive of the war effort against the Sierrans. He firmly believes that Sierra's technological advancement should be stopped as soon as possible after losing his parents in the last war.

RENA YLEORA

Despite being the daughter of a rising merchant, Rena grew up learning the importance and value of hard work. She's an ambitious woman who does not like to beat around the bush and go straight to the point. At a young age, she found herself enticed by her father's profession and decided to study as an Asban Mage. She is married to Sylvas and is the mother of the fiance of the Crown Prince. Aside from that, she had also become the Head of House Asba. During meetings she simply voices her opinion when asked, but if there were some things that were needed to be discussed she isn't one to hold her tongue. She always has documents to back up her words, providing facts is always a must.

RAYLIN EISNER

Raylin was the odd one out in a long line of Shantors. At a young age, she had already shown great promise for healing magic and was sent off to Lessana. Though she has a great relationship with the rest of her family, she has shown great loyalty to House Lessana. She is best known for her astounding healing capabilities, often said to be able to bring someone from the brink of death. She is also skilled in creating various potions and herbal medicines. She does have a trick up her sleeve for when she has to fight— her illusionary replicas that can explode.

In the council, she’s known for her opinions regarding the welfare of the Orhians. She isn’t one to back down if it’s for the good of Orh. She’s supportive of the decision for war but often brings up encampments to bring their wounded back to and making sure that they’re fully prepared for the war.

YUANN KOLN

An oddity among the people of Mezan. Despite having arguably one of the strongest egnarion in their field of magic and region, she simply bids her time flying across Orh and offering transportation service to those in need in exchange for coin. She isn't a spritely young adult as most are, preferring to keep to herself and merely live despite her family frowning upon her life choices. Nevertheless, she likes the way her life is at the moment and so, she and Sethel, her bonded egnarion, will simply continue as they please.

SYLVAS YLEORA

Sylvas Yleora of House Herya is respected within the Heryan community. He’s a council member within his House and has often found himself being the representative sent during kingdom meetings. He is known to be level-headed and fair in meetings. At home and with his friends, however, he is often described as being a loving person and being a complete romantic. He is a talented mage who has been known for having a strong connection with Astava. Though he is often non-combative, he has demonstrated that he can and will fight when pushed.

He would often be seen spending his time at the fields, making sure that everything is growing properly, or spending his time with the younger Heryan mages.

While his loyalties may be with the Queen, his ties to the Royal Family comes from Faenire's older brother Falenas.

Sierran Leaders

TYTANIAH OHLVAREN

The Leader of Wilhemina, Tytaniah or Niah as she often tells people to call her, has been in her seat for over nine years. Before taking the seat of being a Leader to their State, Niah was already well known in the industry for her penchant for making medicine and antidotes. She's more often than not cooped up in her lab, or watching over the works of her fellow chemists that work under her. During meetings, it can be seen that she isn't the type of person to speak at all and would rather observe and gauge what's on everyone's mind although she likes to play dumb when dealing with other leaders unless they're talking about chemistry talk.

SERCINE VANDYL

Sercine was a bright young mind in Cornelius whose contributions paved the way to what Cornelius is today. One of the oldest members in the Sierran Council who is clocking at being a president for around 20 years with a few one and offs in between as per the ruling of their presidents. Sercine has held the peace between the three cities of Cornelius— with Lincolnshire, her home, almost always backing her up. In between her duties as a president, she still contributes greatly to her city’s technological advancements. To the council, Sercine is more than happy to bring their dreams to a reality for the war effort.

HRIST ATAEGINA

An Aristidian Soldier whose family formerly came from Wilhelmina. She is the Niece of Tytaniah Olhvaren, whomst she often visited as a child, much to her dismay. She found the Wilheminian Leader as terrifying despite the sickly sweet smile. During her days as a trainee, every effort that she made on climbing through the ranks was compared to the Great Chemist, due to them being related. Hence why she felt the need to distance herself as far away from the Olhvaren name, she changed hers and requested to be station in Thyrea.

Known to be the Aristidian Army's Second-in-Command. He is Jiana's closest confidant and a great warrior who is almost on par on skills with the General herself. Their story started out as rivals that pushed each other forward. They've come to respect each other over the years but the day he swore his loyalty to Jiana was on a fateful day that she saved his life at the cost of her arm. While feasting together at The Banquet, he promised to her, "From today forward, I shall be the hand that swings your sword and I shall follow your steps 'til the day I die."

ETHAMIRA MINNOA

Ever excited when it comes to machines and the fast progress of technology, Ethamira, or Mira for short, is your go-to mechanical engineer in Lincolnshire, Cornelius if you're ever in need of fixing your techy gears. She'll always greet customers with a big grin as if the sun had just shone, just one call away and she's there fixing your Juggernaut or whatever you need fixing. Gavin is a Sierran adventurer with big dreams and a thrill-seeking personality. Adventuring is a difficult profession with a rather low payout when you don’t know what you’re doing— from dealing with Egnarions to having to negotiate with Thyreans to let you through, it’s always a gamble if you’ll come back or not. Gavin, however, is a seasoned adventurer who had been in and out of Thyrea for decades. He had come back with a variety of trinkets and had even been on government sanctioned trips to retrieve important items from the field. He’s famous in the adventuring community for his relative success. Many have come and gone from his crew— some opting a life of safety while others stick to him loyally until the very end.

Jay Jabowzki DaDougy, or otherwise more known as JJ, is a Sierran newspaper boy living in Fenikae, Cornelius. HIs parents had died in a mysterious house fire a few years back and he had taken to the streets since then, working for the local newspaper company to deliver newspapers or to sell it out in the streets for a few copper coins. This held true only for a year before he had followed a hybrid back to the DaDougy household— where he was promptly taken in. Still, JJ continued his rounds as the newspaper boy during the rise of dawn, sometimes on his hoverboard or sometimes on his mother’s flying vehicle, before heading off to school. He is a cheerful young boy who seems to know and get along with the people along his area. He has been given a knife that he carries around everywhere.

More typically known as, Nai Jr. She was found by Ivantika at the young age of five wounded and bleeding inside one of the boxes for delivery. Not much can be said before she met her now adoptive mothers, Ivantika and Alexys, as she can't quite remember it herself. She only knew of one thing, and that she was running because she was afraid. The first year with the DaDougy family was a hard adjustment but she soon warmed up to both of her new parents. Flashback to a few years later and now Naysayer has become quite distant to her parents, possibly due to being in her rebellious phase and spends most of her time playing Dungeons and Derelicts with friends. She's also an Activist that advocates Hybrid rights, due to being a hybrid herself.

OLLIE MOZIER

A Sierran-turned-Thyrean after a disaster inside his homeland that displaced both himself and a close friend of his. Though he would never say what exactly happened, he doesn’t seem to be too resentful. He laments losing his own workshop and knowing he can’t make a base within Thyrea without being driven out by Egnarions, Thyreans, Orhians or Sierrans. With the years that he’s been in Thyrea, he has adapted to the lack of materials and has scavenged plenty. His knowledge with Sierran technology and ability to rework the items has made him a valuable person for multiple Thyrean groups.

To other Thyreans, he’s much more amicable and he’s open to trade. He travels with a couple of Egnarions as their pack mules and helpers. He’s known to be a half-breed but it doesn’t seem like anyone besides his group knows what his magic is.

ELDER YSMYS

A senior Lessana mage living in the Tribe of Aket'Shahti. Elder Ysmys has been exiled from Orh nearly three decades ago. She didn't expect herself to survive the Thyrea's harshness until she was picked up by the tribe's former chieftain. The tribe became her new home in the desolate land, their kindness turning her into a fiercely loyal member. She serves the tribe as its cleric, using her healing magic to mend the wounds of anyone from children to wounded warriors.

While her magic is no longer at its prime thanks to her isolation from Orhian trainings and materials, Ysmys is still considered an essential member of the tribe and holds adequate knowledge regarding healing magic.

AZUR DOUER

Azur takes up the role of a cartographer for the Caragang. Despite his larger than life personality, he does his job and he does it well. He has multiple landmarks all across the land and he can typically pinpoint where in Thyrea they are as long as he can see. Known for his interesting methods of mapping out routes which mostly involves getting himself in harm’s way, it’s a little bit of a surprise that he’s actually survived this long. He had become acquainted and subsequently recruited in the Caragang because he had, quite literally, been run over by one of the vehicles as he was scouting out an area and he called out to them that they were heading straight into a quicksand pit. After being healed up, he agreed to join them. He prides himself over having the most accurate, up-to-date maps in the Thyrean continent (questionable). He also prides himself as being the grandest storyteller of all time (also questionable).

The Caragang's designated driver, has the ability and knowledge to traversing Thyrea's various terrain. Her small physique is a mere irony to how big of a heart she carries, also shown in how protective she is of the people she now considers family. Ever so expressive of her emotions despite her rather go with the flow attitude. She is the sole survivor of a small group that used to travel throughout the land. She happened upon the previously small group once with her pet Samalver, planning to steal provision to satiate her hunger unfortunately for her, stealth isn't her strong suit and was caught immediately after she tripped on someone's leg. Being from a family of engineers, she was thought on the theory of engineering but never got the chance to apply these theories. She presented herself as a knowledgeable mechanic when in truth she only had hands on learning on how to drive from her father. The lie wasn't something she could keep up but it became the truth over the years she had spent with the Caragang. She was the reason Azur got run over before he joined, something she regrets to this day due to her mediocre driving at the time.

Name: Liridon Alvis

Appearance:
At first glance, Liridon seems like many other Asba mages—not overly concerned with his appearance and adorned in mage’s garb and trinkets. He is fond of cool, tranquil colors such as teal or turquoise. Perhaps surprisingly, he is quite fit, but not to the point of having chiseled abs or upper arms that look like hams. He also has a distinct scar on his left arm and a few light burn scars on his hands from failed experiments. There is usually some dirt under his nails or ink stains on his fingers.
Abilities:
• Runemaking - Liridon is one of Asba’s finest runesmiths, though some of his products are unusual. He tries to maximize the user’s ability to manipulate and safely utilize his wares through complex rune sequences and regulatory companion items, which he offers as a package deal.
• Mathematics - He frequently does math to estimate a rune sequence’s likelihood of success before putting it into practice. Despite the connection between mathematics and Sierran science, Lir insists Sierrans have perverted true mathematics and use it incorrectly.
• Arcana - Lir has studied common spells amongst the other houses. He can identify most spells at a glance and has ideas of how to counter or enhance many.
• Religion - Knowing religious law well is the best way to avoid infractions. Lir has to take it into consideration when devising his methods to create something revolutionary.
• Reading - Life is too short to sit there, reading slowly. He makes a point to keep his mind sharp so he can read quickly and comprehend the material.

Equipment:
• Gleaming Glasses - His signature glasses gleam dramatically when he touches the bridge. Not useful, but oddly fitting for a glasses-wearing brainiac.
• Warding Garb - Standard tunic and pants with a fine protective spell woven into the very fibers. Though they don’t absorb the shock of a heavy impact, it would be difficult to outright kill the wearer by normal means.
• Eagle Cloak & Boots - These matched accessories may seem redundant in function, but the sturdy, gold-accented cloak and boots with tiny wing ornaments allow the wearer to maximize steering ability and safety. The cloak can fan out and stiffen, while the boots absorb and redistribute shock that would otherwise harm the ankles.

• Soaring Sword & Safety Amulet - Liridon’s primary means of defending himself is this short blade, also commonly known as a “Reverie Sword”. While the sword is typically a tool of the inept, Liri has integrated runes inspired by House Cytir's telekinetic spells so it floats and attacks at his will. Soaring swords are coupled with an amulet that repels them, to prevent the user from self-harming with the swords while they fly about, slicing at their targets. Each sword in play gradually consumes minute amounts of mana, but three swords take a hefty toll over time and should be used wisely.

• Runemaker’s Pen - A silver-tipped magic tool that acts as Liridon’s magic focus when scribing runes. It can also be used with ink as a standard writing utensil. Perhaps this pen is mightier than the sword.

• Dry Book - This book contains Liri’s research logs. Clever use of earth elemental magic when crafting the paper prevents water from destroying the pages and washing away the ink.
• Mana Potion - A flask holding that valuable liquid that can keep a mage going. Since it’s not a perfect substitute for naturally absorbed and processed mana, this would be more of a last resort.

• Doesn’t follow popular trends and commonly breaks tradition—within the confines of the law!

History:
Liridon was born to a family of no great means. They didn’t seem to have much talent, and throughout his childhood, he seemed to follow that disappointing path. He moved from Ban Kairo to Tal Asba, staying with a friend of the family. Doubting he could ever complete a house ritual, he figured he’d be a marginal runemaker. At first, he was...

However, as Lir studied, his imagination ran wild and he started cooking up mad ideas: ways to bring obsolescent tools and items back into vogue and renew their usefulness. When discussing his concepts, most thought he was a daft moron wasting resources. Few, if any, shared his vision. Those who didn’t scoff were indifferent or dismissed it as a novelty. He continued his basic tasks, but secretly devised the first rune sequences for the first flying sword.

The ability to use a sword without holding it was no doubt interesting, but his initial model was unreliable at best. Its poor edge alignment and overall clumsiness made Lir a laughing stock; some joked he intended to spank his attacker instead of cutting or blasting them. He refined the enchantments over the next year until the sword flew and attacked more gracefully. There was still one problem he discovered the hard way: the invention was a literal and figurative double-edged sword, capable of harming the user. For this reason, he paired a new safety amulet to avoid another accident like the one that scarred his left arm.

Liridon sent free dancing swords to his superiors, receiving mixed feedback; they still questioned why anyone would need a sword. This and other items quickly started garnering attention, though, as they filled the niches most spells didn’t. Soon, other eccentrics and several battle mages embraced his creations, while his increasingly fine work on more popular items garnered attention from mainstream consumers. The twofold support catapulted him up the ranks until he found himself in a comfortable position amongst Asba’s elite. He’ll never forget his humble roots and ensures his parents are also comfortable after decades of hardship.
Relationships:
• Azhin Farrenhal - This peculiar nun is one of Liridon’s favorite clients. She gives him some of the most exotic requests and presents him some gripping mysteries, some of which kept him busy for over a month. He enjoys and appreciates being able to run ideas by her to gauge their legality before he makes horrible mistakes; having a combined legal and religious consultant has its perks!
• Zaccai Silverio - One of Lir’s few childhood friends. When Zac went missing and was assumed dead, it shook the already-awkward Lir deeply and made him even more withdrawn. When the two crossed paths at San Amier in a chance encounter over twelve years later, it was an exciting moment for the Asba mage. Not only was his old friend alive, but he was shooting up the ranks among Amier smiths. The two work on enchanted weapons projects from time to time, and Lir never comes without a gift. It’s a toss-up whether he brings a sentimental gift, a novelty, or a gag gift, though.
• Harridan Akratorlen - As a child, the then-inept and thus “inferior” Lir cared little about Anghval Velecrom’s pariah status. Following Zac’s disappearance, the two quiet lads drifted apart. Lir was unaware of Anghval’s troubles, for which the latter had sought a priest. It wasn’t until the two had achieved and cemented their high status that they reconnected. Though there is a mutual warmth and friendliness and much can change in almost twenty years, Lir finds “Harridan” most unusual. Is this really the same person he knew?

Sharp cut and neat, Arletta is never caught looking anything but presentable: clothes smooth from wrinkles and stains, hair groomed to silky perfection and face an even porcelain mask. Even going to painstaking lengths to preserve this appearance and thus always having a handkerchief and gloves on hand.

Contrary to her abrasive personality, there's a softness to her visage in the petite features. All gentle lines and curves as if honed out of marble by centuries-old currents. The youthfulness stopping at the eyes, cat-like in their predatory ruby gaze. Always squinting in disapproval and harrowed by a distrust unfit of her age.

Despite her status and well-endowed figure at the above-average height of 5'6 she prefers simple attires. Covering herself up in long black robes with little to no accessories or god forbid, pants and a blouse at home. Never one to dress up without a reason and valuing practicality over anything else.
Psychic magic
Arletta commands the abilities of the mind and specialises as per family tradition in 'intrusion'. Besides the normal skill set of telepathy and mind-reading, Arletta can, by touch, delve into a person's (or object's) memories and deepest desires and use that information to her advantage in interrogation. In reverse, she's also capable of disconnecting the subconscious from the body. Allowing for perception, interaction and travel independent of physical limitation. It is only possible, however, to travel to previously known places- whether it be through experience or acquiring it from someone else's memories (a visual representation). Interacting while in astral form is not without risks, as it requires the user to sacrifice one of the senses to enable it and any damage the projection receive is then transferred to the connected sense. A sort of give and take contract.

Another more dubious skill is the altercation of memories, usually a short term spell but with potentially devastating results if applied correctly. Taxing for the user as it counts as a sustained spell, continuously draining the user on mana. Requires touch as well as an oral activation that if said twice, dispels the magic.

Equipment

Gloves - An accessory as much as a show of respect. A good work relationship is built on trust, no matter what other impression Arletta might give you.

A silver bell- Used during her travels outside her body as an anchor to refer back to. To be used once before disconnecting and once when she wishes to return. Alternatively a slap might also work.

Mage robe- Black and unremarkable in every way. Although, they do have a little embroidery of a golden bird on one of the sleeves.

Empty vial necklace- Something one might find in the slum markets, of bad quality with no real value. Yet Alretta keeps it on her person at all times.

Herb pouch- Herbs harvested from the Gennadia family's personal garden. With various uses, ranging from healing to poison.

Arletta is the middle child out of three of the Gennadia nobility, one of the Kingdom's most loyal pawns that have throughout generations stood by the King's side. Renowned tacticians, generals and politicians, it is said that the Gennadia was an instrumental part in the establishment of the Kingdom and their legacy pervades till this day. Today they stand united with the other sub-branches of the psychic magics under the Cytir household and by the ruling Queen's side. It is a tradition of theirs to enroll all children in the arts due to their special affinity for it.

As per custom, every Cytir mage has to go through the Kastur and before that, be taught in the arts. Unlike their fellow clansmen, however, the Gennadia nobility conduct all teachings at home; sending the children to take the Kastur once they've learned enough. If the child passes the test the child will return home- if not he/she will be declared disowned. Through these methods, the Gennadia has managed to secure many records as the household Head and it is almost a tradition for the oldest child to succeed as Head lest they be never heard from again.

As the middle child, Arletta grew up under similar restraints but not the expectations. She still spent most of her days in the family library, taking lessons from their tutor, and rarely ever left the estate grounds if not in the company of someone but, she was never expected to lead. She had some leeway, so to speak, and that leeway manifested in pranks on the servants, runaway attempts and a lot of sneaking around in general. Initiatives that earned her the nickname "Miss Trouble" as well as a reputation that came to precede her in the social circles, much to her parent's dismay and counteract of it.

At the end of the day, however, she always returned home and performed her duties. Whether it was social gatherings, prospecting future fiancés or studying.

Once it came to her turn at the Kastur, Arletta made a name for herself as one of the youngest graduates recorded at 18. The word spread of the Gennadia youngling's prowess instead of the usual news of her misdeeds and Arletta revelled in it. With the elders' support, she persuaded her parents to allow further studies at the academy. The latter perhaps believing her chances to redeem her name was greater at the academy.

In the autumn of "year", the circumstances changed as the Gennadia announced the sudden death of their oldest and heir. Arletta was to report home and then disappeared altogether for what was almost half a year. Surfacing from the suites of the family tragedy was the news of a new heir, Arletta, and her consequent return to the academy.

An event that shook the noble circles and had people questioning the true nature of the situation.

Appearance: When first meeting Yzola, it is quite easy to see that he is not completely human. Yzola stands at 6'7" and weighs 244lbs. This is a result of his genetic make up as well as his naturally large stature. The sclera of his eyes are darkened while the iris of his eyes maintain an iridescent yellow. His skin is rather pale, and almost attains a grey like hue to it. OtheTr notable features include the large protruding horns and armored scales/spines that appear across his body, including areas of his face. He usually wears a large loose fitting clothing in vain attempts to hide his unnatural features. This is exasperated when he enters territories that are less accepting of hybrids.
Hybrid Human-
Being spliced with a Grygaroth, Yzola has attained a number of benefits not afforded to being an ordinary human.

Toxicity-Through his blood, or through streams of his breath, Yzola can poison his enemies. It is not as potent as his Egnarion counterpart, his blood, his toxins can induce mild rashes, numbness, and mild burns. This also means that he has some sort of resistance against poisonous elements whether it's drugs, magic, or even hazardous environments. This is not to say that he could never be poisoned if given a potent and large enough dosage, but he would fair far better than most. Because of this, he has an unnaturally high alcohol tolerance and a strange diet.

Strength/Durability-Yzola is already a large individual; however, being part of a great beast like the Grygaroth has granted him great strength and durability when compared to the average human.

Appendages-Lastly, Yzola has been granted appendages associated with his Egnarion counterpart. Several scales and spines litter themselves across his body, adding an extra layer of defense to Yzola. Upon his head are large horns that may be used (often in a last ditch effort) to pierce opponents in close range. Given their position, they also act as a natural defense to his head. Since Grygaroth is a flying dragon species, Yzola has also been blessed with large wings protruding out of his back that allow him to fly for about 15 minutes before needing to rest.

Natural Abilities
Yzola is adept at using heavy weaponry in battle, in particular, his Sun Breaker battle axe is his preferred weapon of choice. Unlike his brother, who would simply overwhelm his enemies with his might, Yzola preferred to rely on his strength and defense to wear down his opponents and strike efficiently once they provide openings. However, he has recently adopted some of his brothers characteristics in order to please the populace who began to see him as overly cautious or cowardly.

Wilderness Navigation- Yzola is a "take matters into his own hands" kind of person. Despite the protests of ENDNOTE, Yzola will usually step out into the field to help his people whether it is investigating hazardous areas, battling Egnarions, or helping individuals unable to complete a task. Throughout his journey Yzola has learned quite a few things about the world existing outside of cities and settlements and the creatures that inhabit the world.

BioEngineering Student-While Yzola is no scientist, he is learning the basics of what goes on in Porahn and could at the very least keep up and understand basic concepts in their field to offer advice, or make decisions to those with even less knowledge than him.

Sun Breaker-MB7X45

This was a weapon specifically crafted for Yzola's deceased brother thus it isn't a surprise that Yzola is able to wield it. Sun breaker is nearly as large as himself, its most noticeable trait being the large axe blade at the end capable of heating up to high temperatures. Suffering a blow from such a weapon wielded by Yzola is certain death for most people, heat or no heat; however, their enemy consists of magic wielders so one can never be too cautious. Although it was his twin brothers, it still took Yzola 3 years to get accustomed to the large weapon; a testament to the level of power his brother possessed as he was able to wield this weapon easily.

BlackRoad-A book chronicling the darkest of jokes, so that when he retires he can become a stand up comedian and bring joy to a suffering world. After all the world is cruel so obviously it will relate to these jokes.
Yzola is seemingly a very detached and stoic individual. His facial expressions often do not match how he feels, or the words he chooses to express those feelings; however, let it be known that Yzola is one of the most emotional people you will ever meet in your life. In short, there is almost no in between for Yzola. By continually trying to suppress his outer expression and maintain his reputation as a fierce, intelligent, calm leader, he has unwittingly unraveled his ability to process emotions normally. Many things can send him to the other end of the spectrum. For example, loaning him a pen could send him into a blinding bliss, while losing a game in UNO can send him into a state of deep depression and pity. Nevertheless, he will still maintain his appearance of stoicism despite being anything but which only works as a cycle to fuel this dilemma.

Given the nature of his upbringing, Yzola often found humor in inappropriate things to keep from being labeled a failure and discarded. Because of this, Yzola has a very dark, even morbid, sense of humor in order to process difficult emotions/situations. This only helps feed into his appearance as a cold blooded monster.

Born in one of many labs in Lehleats, Yzola had his past, future and present mapped out for him from the very start. Meant to be the pinnacle of human evolution, and Porahn's bioengineering, Yzola was born a hybrid after having his genetics altered with the genes of a high ranking Egnarion called the Grygaroth. Despite Porahn's so called democracy, Yzola from day one was meant to become the APEX (leader) of Porahn and evolve into a display of the power of their science. Yes, he would have been the pinnacle of the Egnarion and Human Ontogenesis Engineering organization known as (ENDNOTE) had it not been for his twin brother Nzora. By all accounts they were beyond a scientific marvel. For Porhan, the gods coming back to Harmonia had better odds of what had occurred. Splicing the genetics of the unborn, especially so with this particular egnarion, was wrought with failures, yet here a miracle stood. Identical twins, spliced with the same egnarion were born. However, Yzola was much weaker than his counterpart, Nzora.

Unfortunately they didn't have much of a child hood since they were created for the sole purpose of becoming the APEX of Porahn. Yzola received the same training and education as his brother; however, Nzora was always 8 steps ahead. When it came to combat, strength, and even the effectiveness of their hybrid genetics, Nzora came out in front. Moreover, Nzora naturally had the makings of a leader. He was stern, brave, and remained calm in nearly every situation. That said he was incredibly cold and brutal. Even the scientists who often tested them salivated at Nzora's brutal, and beast like nature compared to Yzola's superiority when it came to generosity and philosophy. They continued to train them both; however, it was clear that Nzora was their focus. Nzora quickly became a hero to the people, as well as a sword for their rage while Yzola happily lived in his shadow, supporting his brother in any way possible. The two would be known as the Two Headed Dragon of Porahn and eventually Nzora was sworn in as the APEX of Porahn at the age of 24. For Porahn at least, the state experienced some minute progress which was more than what they had in the previous years. Nzora was able to achieve many feats and garner legends (many that were untrue and manufactured by ENDNOTE) that led to an increased moral among the people. Nevertheless, only two years after he had become the APEX, Nzora died while successfully fending off a horde of high level Egnarions approaching Androboa while Yzola was away on another mission. This was a huge blow to Porahn as well as Yzola who was suddenly thrusted into the light, discarding the comfortable shadows he dwelled in for so long as Porahn naturally looked to him for leadership. Before he could even grieve, Yzola was sworn in as the next APEX, the next hope for Porahn. Somehow, someway he would have to surpass his brother and the even greater burden he carried. Little did he know...his brother did not die fighting a horde of egnarions. He was always destined to die once created.

Yzola and Nzora were not brothers. It is true that Nzora was a successful hybrid creation; however, ENDNOTE had been dabbling in cloning research for some time before this. Human trials were limited, but there had been a modicum of success with egnarions and plants. ENDNOTE believed that the only thing better than one APEX level creation, would be two. If they could harness the power to create powerful hybrids and egnarions at will, it would bring unfound prosperity and power to the people of Porahn. Deciding they would have to begin human trials at some point, ENDNOTE decided to dive headfirst into cloning Nzora. There were many high prices to this experimentation; however, test subject 13 was the sole success out of 78 potentials. The gruesome details of the 77 failures have been locked away; moreover, those do not account for the subjects who failed to even form a body. Unbeknownst to ENDNOTE, this experiment would cost them their success in either field.

The compatibility of the high ranking Egnarion and human DNA was already a high risk factor regarding their success. During the cloning process they disturbed the fragility of Nzora's DNA and set upon a chain reaction where this imbalance began to consume him slowly. In laymans terms, the creation of Yzola coincided with the destruction of Nzora. Perhaps if they were normal humans the process could have been a complete success. Nevertheless, despite being a clone of Nzora, Yzola could only operate at about 1/3 of Nzora's power growing up. In some regards you could say that he was more 'human' than his original. To avoid further complications with the test subjects they raised Yzola as Nzora's brother and boasted about their success in creating two hybrids simultaneously to induce morale as opposed to living with their failures. Despite knowing of Nzora's impending doom ENDNOTE continued to push for Nzora to become the new APEX no matter how short lived it would be. They ran through many possible scenarios and thought that pushing Nzora to his limits would be good for research as well as a way to garner public support and international respect. Even if he should die, they would martyr him and fall back on plan B. Plan B being Yzola. This way, Nzora's death would still increase support as opposed to him dying without achieving anything in life and being left with the failure.

As planned through ENDNOTE's manipulation, most of Porahn are more accepting of Yzola's shortcomings with the blindfold of hope and recent glory being glued to their eyes. Yzola struggles every hour of the day to live up to his brother's expectations, even changing the way he breathes and walks to become the leader they expect him to be. However, this farce can only last for so long and eventually the cracks will be visible for all to see; none bigger than his heart for the living.
Vyra-Nzora's surrogate mother who was left in a vegetative state after giving birth to him. Yzola visits her regularly, believing her to be his mother.

Dr. Antibureum-The head researcher of ENDNOTE. He will often discuss future plans with him; however, Yzola isn't particularly fond of the cold scientist, or his research.

Appearance: Most people mistake Fig to be much younger than he appears. Fig usually explains this off by saying that he has a good skincare routine. His body, which used to be full of muscle during his training, has since become softer. He is of average height. He prefers steampunk esque clothing, as if he was trying to convince himself that he was a Sierran. Most of his equipment is hidden beneath his clothing.
Abilities

Partial Battle Training: Fig is a partially trained soldier, and has knowledge of the majority of how the army works. He also is trained in basic weapon combat, although he prefers not use a weapon as he lacks muscle. Notably, shields are an exception to this.
Fireworks: Fig's only magical power is some magic that Sewyss taught him. Outside of basic light magic, Fig can summon multiple types of fireworks, ranging from sprinklers to the big ones that explode in the sky. The downside is that he has trouble controlling when they explode or the intensity of their explosion.
Nonmagical Hypnosis: Fig has had a knack for hypnosis, albeit a chaotic one. He is good with classical hypnosis and interrogation, as well as being able to coax information out of drunk people. In combat, Fig's Cell Gloves (read below) can be used alongside his shield to cause a ringing sound, the frequency of which causes enemies to lose focus briefly (which helps to interrupt spells). Cytir mages are immune to Fig's hypnosis, as it is trivial to see through it.

Arsenal

Cell Manipulation Glove: A glove that harnesses cell energy, and is the power source to Fig's Synthetic Magika (read below). This energy is used to create a multitude of weak tension bonds between Ruby Ice and the atoms that the glove is coated in. This allows the user to manipulate the red ice in the air. It can also attach to Failure Juice, with more effectiveness in liquid state. He can then manipulate the chemical like dough, or use it to throw at an enemy. Use of the manipulation glove is incredibly difficult. On Fig's left hip is a battery pack to power the glove.
Synthetic Magika: Bits of avant-garde chemistry tidbits meant to imitate the effects of ice magic
Synthetic Cryo Manipulation: A mixture of chemicals that Fig formulated, called Ruby Ice, which allows him to control ice. At room temperature Red Ice is a solid and is the shape of shards of red crystals. Upon taking significant impact, an endothermic chemical reaction occurs, causing the red crystals to evaporate. This endothermic reaction sucks in a lot of energy from the surroundings, which imitates the effects of ice magic.
The canteen that it is in is negatively pressured so that the red ice stays at a liquid state. Red ice takes up much less space in a liquid state than a solid state. It rests on one of Fig's hips
Even whilst without impact, the red ice is still incredibly cold and is not safe to be touched. The air steams around the red ice when it is in motion.
Synthetic Rime Manipulation: Powered by what Fig calls "Failure Juice," a prototype to Fig's ice manipulation. It's a cheap, nonlethal version of Ruby Ice, and therefore previously deemed as useless. Unlike Ruby Ice, Failure Juice is a liquid at room temperature. However, upon being released to air, it begins a reaction with the elements in the air that transforms it into a heavy crystal mound. Thus, it is also kept in an airtight container. Fig will usually lob these crystal mounds at the enemy and sometimes will abuse gravitational force to increase the impact it has. However, they can have more creative uses too, like making a wall out of it. Ruby Ice can bond to these crystal mounds. It becomes much more difficult for the cell glove to manipulate the Failure Juice when it's in solid form.
Iridinite Shield: A heater shield made of Iridinite. Fig was known for his incredible shield skills during his training. He has the precision necessary to parry attacks, whether physical or magical, so that the shield doesn't take the full brunt of the attack. Fig is also capable of using the shield as a weapon. It is noted by Navavlio instructors that it was incredibly difficult for them to give Fig a beating, as he was incredibly adept at hiding behind shields.
Iridinite Chainmail: Iridinite armor that Fig wears underneath his clothes. Fashion over utility, baby!
Heat Goggles: Goggles that can detect infrared light. One of Milam's many tech gimmicks.
Mana Clasp: A bracelet that reduces the mana usage of spells, albeit slightly. One of Leto's experimental bits of technology.

There exists a man in Wilhemina who is known as an accomplished chemist, who has volunteered himself to fight in the frontlines. Other than some eccentric behavior and a habit of womanizing, Fig seems like a normal, successful Sierran.

But to get the full story, we should go back a generation.

In Orh, there was a Asba witch of wavering faith. Her name was Amovys Newton, and along her side was a Lessana initiate named Sewyss, who helped sway her away from the doctorine of the Chosen through wild conspiracy theories. One day, Amovys stepped out of line by suggesting that the war between the Orhians and the Sierrans was like a battle between Heaven and Earth. Heaven had blessed the Orhians, but the Earth had blessed the Sierrans, meaning there wasn't much of a difference between the two factions. The success of the Orhians relied solely on their hard work. This was scandelous. Amovys was forced to flee to Thyrea or face death. Along with her went Sewyss.

Meanwhile, in Sierra, there was a chemist of the name Galileo Leto, who stepped too far out of line in his work with mana. His work centered around machines that interacted with mana. While his intention was to create machines that could poison the flow of mana, he instead delved into the theory of mana supplementation, and derived a formula for it. In the fears of his discovery being uncovered, as well as due to wanting to continue his research, he offered himself up as an adventurer to escape to Thyrea. It wasn't too difficult for him to be accepted-- his knack for science would help the adventure trip. Along with him went textbooks, research material, and his apprentice, a fellow named Milam.

Amovys, Sewyss, Leto, Milam, and the rest of the adventuring group all joined together in one group with a dozen or so other Thyreans, making a community well-known for their yurts. Amovys and Sewyss desperately needed some of the goods that Leto brought to Thyrea, and Leto used Amovys and Sewyss as test subjects for his mana tech. During this time, Amovys and Leto conceived Fig, who was named after the dying fig tree that he was born underneath. Sewyss and Milam were made to be Fig's godparents.

Seven years later, Fig had grown into a young boy who had an interest in technology and science, much to Leto and Milam's joy. Since he didn't have any books to entertain himself, Fig instead read Leto's textbooks, with Milam guiding Fig through the more difficult words. The same couldn't be said about magic. The one time that Fig showed any interest in magic was when he saw fireworks in a textbook and sought to recreate it with Sewyss's magic.

During a skirmish against another Thyrean group, Milam, Sewyss, several of the adventuring group, and Fig were separated from the rest of the group. After a brief discussion, Milam and Sewyss decided that Fig should return with the rest of the adventuring group to Sierra, as the two of them doubted their ability to shield Fig by their lonesomes in Thyrea. Milam and Fig returned on a ship to Sierra. Fig's DNA matched Leto's DNA, which acted as proof that Fig was Leto's child. Milam lied and said that the mother was unknown. Meanwhile, Sewyss went to search for the rest of the group.

The fate of Amovys, Sewyss, and Leto are unknown. Fig and Milam both believe that they're alive, however, in the back of Milam's mind they know that the chances are low.

Back in Wilhelmina, where Leto had made his residence, Milam and Fig were subjected to investigation by the more doubtful members of the government. As a means of getting them off of his back, Fig enlisted into the military.

Fig was never particularly good with combat. In Milam's opinion, Fig was better suited for science and discovery than fighting. And it was around this time that Fig's bratty, rebellious nature started to kick in, and the instructors at Navilo struggled to beat that nature down.

Against all odds though, Fig managed to make his way through the training. Whilst Milam warned Fig against attempting the Arena, Fig's pride forced him to try. Surprisingly, Fig was able to hold his own against the Egnarion. But during the Grand Feast, as Fig chatted with Milam, he decided that joining the Children of Omnei was not his calling.

To this day, some of the Navalio instructors wonder if Fig dallied to tell them about his decision so that he could get free food.

Delighted by Fig's decision, Milam welcomed him back to Leto's laboratory in Wilhelmina. Four years later, Fig had nearly perfected a method of ice manipulation. He had tested it by fighting prisoners. All that was needed was a modem of real world testing. And what better way to test it than with a war?
Milam: Fig and Milam's relationship is like a younger sibling and an older sibling. There is often quite a bit of conflict between the two of them, as their ideas and minds are very different from each other. They both share the same disrespectful streak though, and in the end are like family.
Whilst he cares incredibly about his parents, he has no idea how they are doing. Fig wonders if one day he should return to Thyrea.]

Yzola Synthesis XII: Fig and Yzola are gambling buddies. A visit to Porahn resulted in a friendly poker match between Fig and Yzola. Yzola, with his poker face, obviously won. And Fig, being the drama queen he was, was trivial to see through. After that, Fig would often invite Yzola over to Wilhelmina to go gambling and drink booze. Fig is piggybacking off of Yzola to try to get his foot into politics. Fig nicknamed Yzola "Yogurt."

  - A pair of 4-barrel pepperbox pistols. They are loaded with special iridinite bullets that release a small explosion upon contact with their target dealing double the damage.

  - A greatsword with an iridinite blade. The iridinite blade allows the wielder to deflect magical attacks. It is loaded with the same mechanism as the Vulcan, allowing it to heat up to an average temperature of 2,000 degree Celsius for about 10 minutes with every charge. Jiana wields it with surprising ease despite its size, possibly with the assistance of her cybernetic arm.

  - Jiana's personal Juggernaut, Moxie, comes equipped with a rail gun. She doesn't use it often in battle but when she does, expect bad news.
- Goggles
  - A keepsake from her childhood, Jiana no longer requires her goggles to help her see in the day. They have however been upgraded and now include built-in binoculars and provide the wearer with better vision in dark spaces.
A brilliant strategist, the leader of the Aristide army is a force to be reckoned with. Although she does not have an imposing stature, she possesses an aura that can command any room. Should one ever find themselves in a conversation with Jiana, her sharp wit, penchant for sarcasm, and tactlessness can make it an almost painful experience. She is idealistic, ambitious, and determined. Once she has set her mind on something, she will pursue it without hesitation, even stepping on some toes if necessary. As such, she comes across as cold, aloof, ~~mean~~ disagreeable, and people tend to steer clear of her. Not that she minds, she finds personal relationships a bit of a hindrance. A fellow soldier once described her as "a picture of beauty and brimming with spite". She left him nursing a broken finger just to prove a point. She has little tolerance for idiocy and mediocrity.

Despite her prickly demeanor and volatility, she is fiercely loyal to those who have earned her respect and trust and displays immense mental fortitude when put under stress. At times, when in the company of those she considers friends, she has shown a softer, more caring, and tolerant side. In truth, she wears her strength and power as armor to hide her insecurities and fears.

While it would be a stretch to call Jiana "nice", she is in essence a good person (if you squint and look really hard). She tries to fight for what is right and good for those who cannot fight for themselves and dreams of permanently freeing her home from war.

Named after Alexandra Sierra herself, war has been a part of Jiana's life since she was a child. Although she was born in Tholonis to a family of miners, she was constantly made aware of the impending war with Orh through the constant reminder that all the iridinite they were mining was for the sole purpose of creating weapons and enhancing her country's defenses against magic. Her grandfather also served in the last Orhian war and would sometimes speak of the horrors he saw while in the frontlines. Living amidst the working class, she saw what the effects of war could do to the people. Even after 40 over years of ceasefire, resources were always scarce. Many in her parent's generation grew up as orphans, and veterans walked around with death in their eyes. At 8 years old, she decided she would one day join the military if it meant she would be able to play a part in giving her home the proper peace it deserved.

At 12 years old, against her parents' wishes, Jiana made the journey to Navalio to begin her military training. Initially seen as an outsider and deemed not as good as the Navalio recruits, Jiana worked extra hard to prove all of them wrong. She thrived under the harsh training methods of Navalio, excelling and coming out top in every class, eventually catching up with the regular track of recruits. When they completed their training and it came time to rest, be it foolhardiness or simply confidence, rather than wait the 2 years, Jiana insisted on taking part in the Arena that same year. Her superiors were obviously skeptical, not understanding why someone would choose to forgo the extra time to rest and train, but eventually relented.

Jiana doesn't speak much about her trial in the arena for there are others who do it for her. They spread tales of how the girl from Tholonis had her left arm bitten off by a Dallrin and instead of retreating as was the sane thing to do, she drew her sword and drove it straight into the creature's neck, killing it on the spot. In all honesty, Jiana doesn't remember much of her trial for the Dallrin's fumes and pain had made her so high all her memories are a blur.

Following her victory in the Arena, Jiana continued to move up the ranks rapidly, displaying immense talent both on and off the battlefield. Through the grapevines, she heard of many who spoke of approaching end of the ceasefire between Sierra and Orh and how their "great leader" was now but an old man who had grown complacent and lazy. Jiana had never seen herself as someone in the seat of power (Lol, who am I kidding) but this seemed like a rare opportunity for her to pass up if she wanted to achieve permanent peace for Sierra. Quietly, she began garnering the support of fellow soldiers all the while putting up the image that she was on the side of the general who had already been delegating unto her most of his work. The coup was sealed when Porahn's elected their new leader. By forging an alliance with their neighboring state, Jiana went to the General with a proposal. Retire and hand the leadership over to her, or be forcibly overthrown by his own forces.

The young leader now has a lot on her plate. With the impending return of the Orhian war, she has every intention of making this the last. There will only be peace or death to the enemies.

If one examines closely her many public appearances, they may notice that the cloak has either never been replaced or there have been multiple copies of the same garment. In front of an audience, she acts every bit the esteemed and indomitable Amier mage, affecting a serene mien and an unhurried expression beneath her hood. But when Lume is overwhelmed by her duties, she appears more like a mage-in-training during House trial season: fretting over the scope of their studies, stressing over the last ritual that will determine their fate and clothed in coffee-stained robes that are more function over form.

Suzaran, the Six-Fingered Architect, Protector of Sanctuaries

A dreamer of idyllic dwellings and unblemished landscapes, yet a builder of titanic structures to rival the highest flyers in the Harmonian skies, the Architect is a paradox in their numerous narrative appearances. Two certainties that have been passed down through all the fables are their six fingers, a boon and a curse in equal measure, and their ability to construct fortresses to withstand a star’s descent.

Castles in the Air

During the day, this low-cost spell creates a single hexagonal barrier that must be anchored to an appointed position or a specific entity. If it is tethered to an entity, the hexagon will move as they move and keep the same distance away from it as they were first cast, though they may also be manually shifted with a little application of mana. The constructs can be destroyed by force, magic or other substances designed to erode. If the impact overcomes the mana from casting, the hexagon fractures into shards which then fragments further into “stardust”—the instant it turns into fine particles, the remnants brighten as if to imitate the death of a colossal star. The barrier will disappear on its own over time, and while it is contingent on mana input, if no considerable effect attempts to break it, it will last around forty minutes.

Each hexagonal barrier can hold a standard adult’s weight for virtually eight minutes and survive the force of a magazine of bullets before splintering. Linking hexagons together distributes force and increases the damage a lone hexagon can tolerate, and if the overall strength is overcome, only the contacted barriers will shatter instead of the entire structure.

When night arrives, it becomes clear that the barrier constructed is faintly lit with indigo glow—a light that is barely visible in the daytime, but outlines adjacent objects in the dark. Once the stars are out, Lume can interweave permissions into the spell structure to allow certain materials, energies and mana signatures through the hexagons, but the default is that nothing shall pass. Any hexagonal barrier has a 1/80 chance of storing and expelling any force back towards the aggressor throughout the night if the attribute is incorporated into the spell, but during daylight hours, it may only absorb impact until it cracks.

Yoleska, the Enlightened Learner, One Who is Both Master and Pupil

As encouragement and motivation to transcend prior figures, the story of the Learner is oft repeated to novice mages at the beginning of their study. Although the tale is more fairytale than truth, there is one moral that most instructors expect their protégés to realize: in the discipline of magic, oneself is the best teacher.

Light-Years Ahead

Encoding a mage’s mana signature within the structure, Lume can construct a star-shaped pinprick that will channel additional mana to any spell that individual casts. The preset property of the “shooting star” will feed equal amounts of mana to the spells as the caster, though the function may be adjusted by tweaking the spell. This causes any magic to form at twice the speed as it usually would, and boosts efficiency and control due to the fact that half the assembly is completed by Lume’s construct.

Bound to the allotted mage, the “shooting star” trails behind them and will last for a total of thirty minutes. As the limited duration proceeds or as the mana contained in the construct is utilized, the eye-searing brightness becomes fainter and fainter until it is entirely extinguished—this is the evident signal of the conclusion of the spell.

The period from dusk to dawn allows for "constellations": multiple stars bound together in a configuration that will triple the pace of spell production in regards to a specified House's magics.

Qel, the Guiding Star, Overseer of Wayward Wanderers

Folklore speaks of a bright star that shepherds lost travellers to their destination, a being who gazes upon adrift sailors, pilgrims and explorers alike to lead them to their journey’s end. Those without a path to tread need not fear, for they are placed under the Guide’s benevolent eyes.

Reach for the Stars

There are two phases to this spell: the mapping phase and the movement phase. During the mapping phase, glowing paths appear upon the most suitable surface—typically solid ground or large bodies of water—and lead towards the location of noteworthy stars visible to the people on the planet of Harmonia. Each path is tinted in the same colour as the star it points to, if not significantly dimmer, and overlays existing infrastructure and geographical features.

When Lume determines a stellar direction to progress, the paths vanish from view and only the impression of the star that she has selected remains in her mind. Advancing along the illuminated trail in her mind, she can compress space to move further than would be normal with a step. Spectators have expressed that the sight is disconcerting, due to the fact that Amier councillor appears to be moving as usual, but the interval between each step is far vaster than expected.

Without depleting her mana pool, the average number of footfalls she can increase the stride of with horizontal compression is sixteen—assuming that it is compressed by a factor of ten—and with a greater factor, the strides that can be taken decrease exponentially.

At night, the paths increase and expand to gaseous spaces. Steps can be made in the air to move directly upwards or diagonally, though the moment the motion ends, there is nothing stopping her from a gravity-induced fall.

This sleeveless robe is enchanted with a single-use teleport spell and two small enhancements: the mantle casts deeper shadows for pure aesthetic purposes and heals minute wounds such as paper cuts for the times she cannot be bothered to move away from her desk to grab a bandage. The golden stars embroidered on the cloak may twinkle in unlit corners and darkened areas if the particular feature is “switched on”.

(Yes, there’s a mana “battery pack” like one of those light up ugly sweaters. Yes, it’s annoying.)

Her mother taught her the instrument as a child, but years later, she barely touches it and remembers only a single song. It sits in a corner of her bedroom, performing admirably the part of interior decor.

Ship in a Bottle

A gift from her father, who was habitually away from home for business and is therefore never mentioned in her history. It rests on the center spot of her nightstand, and she stares at it in silence when the lamps are snuffed and the night is quiet.
Once a child who held bold dreams of ending the millennia-long war, now a grown mage anxious over the increasingly formidable weapons employed against Orhians in battle and longing to sail the seas—far, far away from any sort of conflict before it all advances past the point of no return. Considerate and passionate about helping others, but easily unsettled by current events and high-strung under pressure, Lume hasn’t truly recovered from the trauma that comes from being part of the infamous House of Space. Just like when she was but a young novice mage under House Amier, sniffling as she furiously crammed knowledge of magic in her head, she has stayed much the same even after nearly a decade, fulfilling her tasks to the best of her ability as she endures her own apprehension and the dreaded coffee jitters.

At times when Lume is not in a state of distress, she considers herself a fair conversationalist and is willing to listen to others’ personal problems if ever they require an ear. Her advice is neither wise nor particularly insightful, but she means well and it oftentimes acts as spiritual comfort rather than any legitimate counsel.
Born in Ail Lessana, after her mother left House Amier to pursue her ambitions in blinding people’s eyes, Lume was raised on anecdotes of the “Town of Luminous Starlight” and her uncle’s exploits as a former general. Her aspirations as a child then were simple: destroy Sierra and stop the war. Simple. It was only when she became of schooling age that the strange overconfidence in her own abilities waned to the point she could see part of reality, and she started seriously contemplating what it would take to draw a true conclusion to the seemingly endless bloodshed.

Using her juvenile smarts, she decided that undefeatable magic was a good start to her quest—and where better to gain that power than the House her mother had left? Her mother, on the other hand, worried about her daughter settling on her future so young, and before Lume could depart the town of enchanted bridges, she expressed her concern and hoped her child could enjoy the activities that she had ignored in her pursuits prior. From her own experiences, she understood that the life a person set out to achieve may not be the one they preferred to have. Lume, the precocious child, had perceived such activities as beneath her, but her belief in her mother overcame her own ego and she resolved to participate in what her mother held dear. Her grand goals could wait a few years.

Sailing, foraging, friend-making and instrument playing—her mother wracked her brain to compensate for her surprisingly lacking childhood and succeeded twice. The first in teaching Lume to sail Lake Lessana, and the second in forcing her to engage with her peers. The girl with a one-track-mind finally realized that she wasn’t quite so different after all and slowly accepted the fact that she was not all-powerful and all-knowledgeable. It was here that she met a similar-minded companion by the name of Roya, and with this introduction, both reaffirmed their desire to blast Sierra to bits, to her mother's dismay. Together they thought up impractical plans to conclude the recurrent conflict between the countries, and developed their roles as to-be general and officer.

Soon, the occasion that would allow her chase after her true objective would arrive. With a tearful farewell from her mother and mid-journey reunion with her closest confidant, joining the House of Space after a strenuous and lengthy study period—speckled with visits from her uncle—was fairly uncomplicated. The two bosom buddies passed the trial by a hair’s breadth, goddess bless, and went on to branch into their preferred field within the overarching space magics. It was a satisfying phase of her life; perhaps it could even be called wonderful if not for what came after.

Waking up from dreams of glorious victory late one morning, Lume was treated to an uneasy atmosphere within the grounds of the Amier buildings. Quiet murmurs and cautious glances were thrown her way, and as she made her way down to the training halls, a self-conscious alarm began to creep up within her. It began to blare warning bells as a tear-streaked friend of hers stumbled into her on the path, and the world was silenced as news of Roya’s unfortunate expiry was shakily spread to her.

From then on, her days passed in a blur of magic drills and low-spirited labour. Her diligence and initiative in undertaking undesirable tasks moved her from her position low on the House ladder all the way up to leader, but the fiery zeal she once showed existed no longer in the Leader of House Amier. Her second-in-command was gone, and something within Lume had vanished along with her.

Appearance: Upon first glance, Zinnia emits a solemn, mature and almost serious aura. Dressed usually in slick, smooth black clothing that often trails behind her, she is always seen calm and composed. Her clothing is also adorned in beautiful flora (which admittedly exudes a very strong odor), making for an elegant appearance. She stands at 5'4" (162 cm) and despite the aura she naturally possesses, Zinnia can be accommodating and look easy to approach when she tries.
ABILITIES

Budding - Almost passively, mushrooms around Zinnia seem to come alive. They develop a face alongside stubby arms and legs, gaining the ability to move and act as if sentient. The semi-living mushrooms under Zinnia's influence are called Myco (me-ko), and they are essentially dolls under her control; even if she can pull off a convincing 'individually sentient Myco' act.

Mycos are capable of carrying out menial tasks through the power of numbers. Zinnia typically has them manage farms or her cafe as staff, relaxing on her own at the same time. Her mana is drained the more Mycos are up and actively moving (her status is prolonged thanks to her second ability; individally, Mycos do not use up a lot of mana). Processes done by Mycos have different results than when done by human hand. In cooking, the meals have a soothing, healing effect. In standard medical aid (wrapping bandages, cleaning a wound, etc.) pain is numbed and wounds healer quicker. In music... you can appreciate the Mycos' enthusiasm.

Zinnia has had up to hundreds of the fist-sized mushrooms up at once. She can cast her second ability, Flourish, through them, but has a smaller AOE. In the end, the Mycos always revert back to their regular mushroom state.

Flourish - Cast to an AOE which only effects plantlife. Flourish enhances certain properties of theirs; it can make flowers blossom and grow beyond, make vines tougher than most blades to cut through, and especially on farm crops, increase their abundance and properties as an ingredient. When the affected ingredients are used, they provide a soothing, healing effect to the product and then to the consumer. It applies whether through crafting medicine out of affected herbs, digesting foods created with affected crops—as long as it comes into contact with the body. In fact, they are popular Heryan exports and are Zinnia's selling point for her finances. When casted on produce, effects will expire after a month.

The ability is noticeable for how it causes dozens of mushrooms to sprout from the ground.

If focused on one specific plant by physically touching, it has the capabilities of making it grow far beyond normal size. For example, a mushroom might grow as big as a cottage through Flourish.

EQUIPMENT
Cordycep - An enchanted Asba item in the form of a dried mushroom cap, personally commissioned by Zinnia. Like a catalyst this allows her to control the Mycos without too much focus needed from her mind. Zinnia can go through her life while the Mycos run in the background. With a little magic used by her, it creates "scripts" for the affected mushrooms to follow whenever they're within a 30 ft (914 cm) radius of Zinnia. Her entering the Twinkling Cabin is what gets everything running, closing when she eventually leaves.

Oath - Rather than use Astava's wood granted to make a wand or staff as per tradition, Zinnia opted to crafting a ring that went on her ring finger, leaving the spare wood safely tucked away in her quarters. Gives her a "green thumb;" plants that Zinnia touches seem to writhe and squirm towards her. She needs to be in close contact with plants to utilize Flourish in a way that affects specifically that sole plant, making it grow far beyond normal size. For example, a mushroom she caresses can grow as big as a cottage if she uses magic during it. After marriage, it's now molded around the ring that made her Caspian's wife.
Zinnia gives off the impression of a quiet beauty; dealt the hand of reality and mellowed out as a result. She has trouble expressing herself fully, opting to rely on her semi-living mushrooms to communicate her feelings. She does her best to accommodate other people while remaining steadfast herself. Zinnia would much rather be left to her own pace in terms of politics and contributions to Orh, being easily irritated if rushed or pressured. She finds enjoyment and a zen-like experience in aiding with Herya's usual businesses with its agriculture. Zinnia is uncomfortable around the topic of the war, though she does not shy away from the matter. She wants it to end, plain and simple.

Everything Zinnia does has a purpose. The relaxing qualities of her power and cafe, the flowers on her attire that mesh to create a pungent odor around her, the way she drowns herself in work—it's Zinnia's method of distracting herself from what pains her.
Caspian Alinac first learned of the Twinkling Cabin cafe when he overheard some of his fellow soldiers discussing it after a boring day of patrols. Apparently, it was a one of a kind place that had you "leave better than when you came in" and was ran by a Heryan council member named Zinnia. It was only after he was granted a leave that, after arriving in his home of Ban Kairo, he traveled all the way to Mag Herya.

It was a spur of the moment decision. Caspian lacked any true family to welcome him back; he might as well have been a vagrant at that point. Besides, there wasn't anything to lose from stopping by a fancy cafe.

Caspian only knew Zinnia for a few things: being the most laid-back and quiet of the Heryan council, all while keeping on top of her duties, ensuring farmlands remain long and prosperous, and managing a few side projects such as the cafe. By all means, she was one of the most peaceful and tranquil of the circle; yet, the least influential at the same time. She'd worked up from the bottom, earning a spot on the house council through months of practicing and refining her magic, all in a determined effort to gain the council members' votes. And it worked.

The Twinkling Cabin had a simplistic cottage look from the outside: the ideal image of a home to return to. Inside, however, was something out of a marvelous dream. Caspian fell entranced the moment he stepped inside. A gentle breezed carried by a wave of a foral scent—not overwhelming, yet distinctly notable—first greeted him. Then the most adorable mushroom critters he'd ever seen in his life!

Caspian didn't know how or when he moved. It was as though he drifted from the entrance and to a seat, surrounded by the Mycos and entirely swept of sense. He ordered one of the pastries—an apple tart, he later learned (he was still entranced at this point).

However, out of all the hustle and bustle in the Twinkling cabin, only one image remained vivid in mind. It was only a few seconds when the door to the back swung open for a cart of orders. Through it, against the wall and sat near the window, Zinnia read a novel accompanied with a cup of tea. She dozed off, flickering her gaze shut and bobbing her head for a few moments before jolting in surprise. Then the doors closed, and the Mycos took Caspian's dirty plate away.

He stopped by again tomorrow.

That day, Zinnia opted to rest on the cafe's second floor. It was much more quieter than the first floor—usually there'd be a romantic couple clambering up the stairs for a view outside. Once more, she dozed off, leaving mid-sentence in her book as she leaned back to focus on hundreds of Myco scurrying about the place. It was stronger gust of wind that snapped her out of the trance-like state. The breeze flew in through the window, slapping a leaf over her eye. Zinnia chirped out of surprise, trying to re-steady herself. Waving an arm, she felt the ceramic cup on the table bump her arm, followed by the sound of it sliding against the wooden tabletop... but no crash.

When she regained herself, a towering man of ruffy white hair suddenly stood before her. He caught the cup before it hit the ground, not even letting a drop of tea spill, and placed it gently back on the table. Caspian sat across from her, and neither left for the next few hours.

It was an odd sight: the quiet, un-talkative Zinnia chatting with a soldier on leave. The regulars at the Twinkling Cabin knew her as someone who always kept a certain distance with everybody. Zinnia's childhood was one of neglect, devoid of the love and warmth needed to nurture a child. Though she eventually grew to provide such things as an adult, the only person she failed to give them to was herself. The comfort she found did not include other people; they were meant for the background while all she focused on was how to be better. That's how it has been since adolescence. But unbeknownst to her, today was the beginning of a turning point.

Caspian stopped by again the next day. That time, Zinnia was expecting him.

Despite initial apprehension, Zinnia found herself enveloped by him. Whether it was his unusually gentle demeanor for a soldier, the kind words flowing from his lips that she'd never heard from anyone else being addressed to her, or the fact she'd never met anyone as captivating (in many ways) as the soldier before her, she couldn't bear to turn away.

At the same token, Caspian learned that there was a lot more to Zinnia than many others knew. The secret to her financial success lied in her second ability, Flourish, which practically buffed Herya's crops and farming exports. When the produce hit the markets, they stood out among the other stock as being more cheaper and beneficial. So not only was her homeland the hotbed of Orh's agricultural resources, but Zinnia was responsible for their above average quality.

The visits became frequent, sometimes even extending past closing hours.

Even as Caspian had to head back to Thyrea for more rounds of guard duty, there was no shortage of letters between them. For once in each of their lives, they had someone waiting for them.

Months passed, and he returned straight towards Herya come his next leave.

They started dating for one year.

When Zinnia was around 21 years old,Caspian returned to the Twinkling Cabin after he was granted a leave. He was quiet; very obviously hiding something. It was when they reached their usual spot upstairs that he dropped to a knee. In his hand was a box, holding a ring.

Zinnia answered with a quiet yes.

Caspian's time with Zinnia and in active service constantly went back and forth throughout the years. For the couple, it felt as though the times they were together flew past in seconds—the time apart lasted eternities. In one moment, they had a lavish marriage ceremony at the Twinkling Cabin. In the next, she was alone. Yet, Caspian was always the sole person she looked forward to seeing again.

Around 23 years old, Zinnia conceived Iris.

The work-arounds to each of their lives and now with a child thrown into the scene proved to be chaotic for a while. Caspian's soldier duties left him in an on and off state of being present, and Zinnia still had her duties to attend. She had to hire people for the time to do her work—a fact she absolutely loathed, seeing them handle her things in minutely different ways no matter how much she tried explaining to them her only way of performing them. Despite her frustrations there, she did not regret the time it left for her to care for and nurture their child.

Iris, in the coming years, proved to be a fast learner. Despite having to grimace every time Iris asked why her dad was working for so long, Zinnia remained loving in her own way. Having not experienced much of the warm emotions and living off of work for most of her life, she used Iris' education as a stepping stool towards care. Any time other than the home-schooling sessions, though, and Zinnia was as wordless and stiff as ever. It was perhaps one of many factors that led to her daughter enjoying herself outdoors when the sessions ended.

The moment Iris knew how to run, her reckless nature became apparent; more than any growing child. Zinnia scolded her on few things, being if Iris was performing anything dangerous or bothering other people. Everything else was fair game. By all accounts, Zinnia was an okay, trying mother who was still learning the ropes of parenting.

It was only when Caspian was home that the family could finally be a family. All of them needed to be together for 'picture frame' to be complete. Though the following years was not without its fair share of hardships, every time Caspian returned home, Zinnia welcomed him with a tight embrace. She adapted soon enough to their new daily schedules, finding time to manage everything in the same day.

One night, Zinnia found her husband packing a bag. She spotted the military uniform, immediately grimacing. She never got used to the sight. "You're being called into service again...?"

Caspian only offered the reassuring smile she fell in love with. "For a few months," he said first, then noticing her countenance remaining unchanged. "It's only patrols and keeping watch over territory; we rarely ever see action. I'll be back before you know it!"

She tried not to frown, turning her head down at the floor as to hide her face. "Iris' birthday..."

"I'll make it back in time. Promise." Caspian took her hand, sending her gaze upward in surprise. He pressed against his wife, and their lips connected.

The day after, Zinnia kissed him goodbye, and Caspian walked off into the distance. The Heryan set her mind back to work; it set her mind off of the incoming anxiety. This was the routine every time Caspian was called into duty. She'd find comfort in knowing that he always kept good on his words, returning home exactly when he said he would. If only things had continued that way...

Their daughter's sixth birthday was only two weeks away when Zinnia learned they would never see Caspian again.

While stationed in Thyrea to protect Orhian territory, the Sierrans launched an attack, and the two sides delved into a skirmish. Caspian was one of the casualties.

Zinnia sunk herself into work, adorning herself in dozens of flowers to create a pungent odor, all in a effort to prevent her mind from wandering off. Nobody knew how she felt; she retained a stoic expression to others, barely talking as she had in the time before meeting Caspian, and people seldom saw her for long. Iris, on the other hand, didn't know how to take the news of her father's now permanent absence. Her mother seemed more... distant than normal, tending to focus on work instead of anything else. Though Zinnia could respond in the same, warm tone she always had, even Iris could tell it was not the same. The six-year-old went—and stayed—outside more than usual.

Waving off the concern of friends and acquaintances, people soon found Zinnia's tireless work ethic had unveiled the fruits of labor she put behind the scenes of the Twinkling Cabin and Herya's crop exports—all enhanced by her spells. Apparently driven by the need of more work (all of which she plowed through like a machine), she was more than eager to fill Sylvas' shoes as the representative to attend kingdom meetings. The woman who was once the least remarkable of the Heryan council was now the one at the helm, and she didn't show any sign of stopping.

Despite all her efforts to escape from the grim reality, though, the raw feeling inside her chest never went away. Though many seemed to applaud her work, it felt nothing more to the woman than vague, nameless objectives. Each day she worked was not filled with pride nor accomplishment; only dread at what awaited once she finished.

Zinnia hurried back to the Twinkling Cabin, the one place she felt an ounce of comfort. It was there, even before she met Caspian, that provided a safe haven.

The cafe felt emptier than it used to be.

Lessana Magic:

• Mending of the Soul and Body | Aina can heal both tangible and intangible would so long as she knows its cause. This healing magic can range from simple cuts and headaches to mending broken bones, so long as it is considered non-fatal or non-mortal wounds. This includes the curing of infectious diseases, as no healing magic can cure deficiency diseases, hereditary diseases, and physiological diseases. If one is experiencing pain during their deathbed, she can ease it until their final breath. The mana she spends depends on how shallow or grievous the wound is.

• Save your Last Breath | A forbidden clerical spell that is used only as a last resort. In exchange for saving a person on their last breath, or those who have a mortal or fatal wound, to give them a second chance at life, the user of this spell is then subjected to take on the pain that the one they revived felt. Usually, it leads to the cleric fainting due to the loss of mana and sudden intense pain that they felt, at times the wounds may even reappear in their body to a lesser extent but the healer may still be subjected to their demise because of the spell if they are not careful.

• Lustrous Crucifix | As a Lessana Mage, Aina is also able to control light aside from healing. This ability is creating a large construct of light shaped like a crucifix used to deal damage to her opponents. She can control it freely and however she wants, but maintaining its form takes a huge toll on her mana due to its size. Lustrous Crucifix can also take on a smaller size and multiply, like small daggers. Aina typically uses the former and drops it on her opponents like a giant stake.

Equipment:

• Iisreeth's Staff - A sanctioned staff by the Order of the Church if a clerical clergy wishes to request one. It's carved from the fallen branches of Astava, its head is fashioned into the sun with eight rays to represent the Eight Houses of Orh. It boosts the user's healing abilities and be used as a source of light. It's also good for bonking.

• Cloak of Tenacity - A pure white cloak that acts as armor and absorbs the attacks that are hit to the cloak itself. While it does absorb attacks, it can only take a certain amount of damage before it becomes just a simple white cloak.
• Dutiful to a fault, she is willing to work tirelessly if it meant the good for her fellow Ohrians
• Ambitious, it has been long in her mind to be the Queen of Orh, she believes it's her destiny and she has been working hard to be worthy of the title
• Hopelessly Romantic, a trait inherited from hearing her parents find true love from an arranged marriage
• She may seem naive but she's actually quite intelligent, don't let her appearance fool you
• She is a stout follower of the Church and believes in the twisted supremacists' culture of Orh, she won't be merciful despite her gentle nature
• While she may be a kind and generous individual, she doesn't truly understand the plights of those in the lower class
Aina is your classic case of someone being born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Her father was of a minor noble lineage whilst her mother was the daughter of a rising Asbean merchant. Their marriage was to be expected, arranged marriages may be few but it was still a practice done by select families, including the Royals of Orh. Perhaps the unexpected thing was that her parents both fell in love so deeply with each other despite their varying personalities and as she grew up she dreamed of the same love her parents felt for each other.

As a child, her mother was quick to teach her etiquette and what the world of nobility was like. Sometimes, her mother would try to entice her on the wonders of runic magic but Aina wasn't so easily swayed. She wanted to be like the Queen, she said and her parents did dare to dictate their daughter's life. One day, the Yleora family had attended a ball hosted by the Royal Family. It was there that she first met the Prince, they danced together that day and she had a wonderful time. By the next morning, she was informed by her parents that she'll be married to the Crown Prince of Orh one day. The engagement was kept under wraps until the Royal family had made an announcement on the Prince's (x)th birthday.

Since she first knew of her engagement to the inheritor of the Crown, she had dreamed of a life with the Prince; a happy family, and her life as Queen to be once he becomes King. She made sure to have at least monthly visits to the castle to spend time with her future husband to be, often bringing a basket of food or flowers grown by her own father. Aside from that, she had made sure to study fervently to become a great mage and to become a worthy Queen at a young age.

After passing her trial, Aina had joined the Clergy of the Order of the Chosen as a healer to be able to help those in need, and gain a great public image with the commoners. From then on she had been traveling around Orh to help those with wounds and curable diseases while also preaching the words of the Order whenever she was prompted to. She makes visits to her parents every once in a while, also making sure to visit the Prince twice every month and spend the day with him.

Appearance: Eldeera Loraine, a known beauty to the people of Cytir. She is often seen wearing flowy and quite revealing clothes, filled with bright and flashy accessories. However, what's receiving the most attention is her lush red hair. She always wore it braided at any event or occasion. No man or woman failed to take a second turn when she passes by, always being followed by the eyes of people. There's just something about her alluring demeanor that magnets stares towards her. Added to that, a skin so fair almost transparent, and when you look closely you'll see the Loraine's mark. A mark that has been passed down to all who bears their family name. And finally her almond eyes with pink colored irises. It shines like a jewel's.

Mind Reading: Although one of the most common magic when you belong to Cytir, Eldeera can read the minds of more than one person but depending on the depth. In order for her to use the magic of mind reading, people must be focused solely to her. This is where her excellency in singing is used. As a performer it is perfect for her to use it on those kinds of occasions.

If it's surface level thoughts she can break through the minds of 6 people. However if it's something real deep and hidden, only one can be casted upon on. It's even too much work.

Telepathy: Unlike her Mind reading magic, her telepathy does not require the attention of others, but instead, she either needs to see them in person or to know their current location. It has a limit of 10 feet away max if she is not together with the target.

Illusions: The magic that sits at the top of all her abilities. There are number of ways she can use this:

Decoy Creation - the power to create another decoy of herself | can only make one clone
Illusive Appearance - the user can alter the appearance of oneself | has time limit
Unnoticeability - user can make themselves unnoticed or ignored by their surroundings | does not work on people who have superhuman senses | the illusion breaks if the user is touched
Illusion trick - when in combat the user can trick the target to appear as if they're hitting them but their sense of direction is disrupted | this illusion relies on the target's vision

Although Eldeera has more options with her Illusion magic, each of it has a large tax on her mana consumption, therefore, she can't cast another illusion when already using one. Time limit is also present in all of her Illusion abilities.

Years living as a mental mage, Eldeera was able to learn the good and the terrifying darkness that resides in all of us. Life taught her to be wary, life taught her not to trust, and life is just not life anymore. People mistaken her for being self-centered and selfish but they didn't know that the tragic upbringing that she had, made her depend on no one else but herself. She rarely listens to other people's opinion, thinking that the only best way is her way. Friendship for her is pretty much a child's play that she never believes in and though it may not seem like it, she is used to being alone since that's how she'd been ever since.

Energy Manipulation: The ability to manipulate the flow of latent energy present in the physical body. Zaccai can gain superhuman capabilities, and use them in cases of extreme combat. Some examples include physically manifesting his inner strength, and unleashing it to the fullest extent through sheer force of will. Energy manipulation creates extraordinary strength, speed, and durability, enabling the use of energy blasts (Twinkle Little Star Beam), hyper-awareness, occasional bulletproof durability, and limited cutting immunity. He is partially immune to conventional gunfire and blade damage only if energy is intentionally manipulated for deflection in area of contact. Zaccai can focus energy into parts of his body for enhanced attacks. In different cases, he can empower his energy by channeling the natural energy of the planet or cosmos.

Energy Constructs: Zaccai can transform energy into objects of varying permanence. These constructs can range from items such as tools and weapons, to living or non-living entities and even entire structures. Generally, constructs tend to consist of energy and are made tangible by the user, often through sustained conscious effort. He is able to manifest the necessary energy needed to shape their constructs.

Meanwhile, fully material constructs can vary in terms of detail, and overall functionality. Furthermore, certain non-solid sources tend to be too inherently unstable, hazardous or otherwise insufficient and unsuitable to be shaped into or made to perfectly resemble any kind of technological object imaginable. Besides such elements being unable to realistically mimic the quality, stability and other aspects of certain substances, they may also prove incapable of being properly or even safely interacted with like solid matter by those except the user usually, which can further limit their versatility.

In most circumstances, Zaccai can possess a varying degree of control over his constructs, allowing him to move, transform, repair or otherwise manipulate their constructs through conscious effort and will alone. Moreover, not all constructs are necessarily solid, even those made of tangible matter, allowing certain constructs to imitate other states of matter, namely fluids such as liquids and gases.

Equipment

Armor: Introducing . . his space suit. This durable armor has a light wear appearance capable of doing well on a standalone basis. Integrated within its inner complex fibers is an infused kinetic energy enchantment, able to deflect physical attacks onto opponents of up to certain levels depending on mana investment. On top of that lies an advanced fire dampening enchantment. Upon the strike of an ultra heated weapon, expect the armor to merely burn through a bit before kicking in, and repulsing the sword to push away. The suit will still be whole, just a bit burnt. Zaccai will have to pay close attention to blocking the swings at certain armor points since the latter enchantment is heavily focused around them.

Cloak: Usual dark Amier mage cloak. He rarely uses it as much as he should.

Twin Hook Swords: These weapons have a sharp blade with a prong or hook near the tips. The hooks of the weapons may be used to trap or deflect other weapons.
There are five components of the hook sword:
- The back, which is often used as a regular sword.
- The hook, which is used to trip enemies, catch weapons and slash.
- The end of the hilt, which is sharpened.
- The crescent guard, which is used for blocking, trapping and slashing.
- The link, which is when the two hooks can loosely connect. The wielder swings one hook sword in a way that the second is extended further out, almost six feet. While the second is in the air, the dagger upon the hilt slashes the target. In this way, the wielder can extend their reach out from three feet to six.
Egnarion: Slush. A handsome, mischievous beast capable of flying through the night sky in full camouflage, and freezing over the hottest of flames with ice shots.
He's a refreshing gust of freedom with a smooth mix of fun-loving and adventurous traits rolled in one. Although Zaccai tends to go with the chill flow on subject matters, he's rather daring and quick to veer on his own path when able. Engaging in challenges opened up many doors for him; however, the gray line between pushing limits has since then blurred out. Often times he tends to overlook meals, or skip out on sleep with an almost blinding determination to climb obstacles. Regardless, he has a good head on his shoulders when it comes to those he cares about. He's an openminded individual, pushing to understand the views of others. Doesn't necessarily mean he agrees with everyone's perspectives though. He'd rather bottle things up in the inside than argue with the fool. Despite shakily placing trust in others unless otherwise proven, Zaccai just so happens to be one of the mages most people in the Amier community rely on.
Zaccai Silverio was born somewhere deep within Kairo's fire tribe territory one Spring night on Marchello 23rd. He entered the world as the second son of the tribe's head blacksmith, growing to understand what it meant to strike the iron while it was hot. It was natural for him to learn and adapt the ways of the fire tribe as quickly as flames spread. This however didn't stop him from intermingling with other tribes, and opening his curiosity toward their practices. Zaccai had a good friend through it all too. One who was more of a brother to him than his very own. The siblings clashed. Zaccai never understood why his older brother bullied him. And the kicker? His older sibling wore a charming facade to the rest. At the age of 9, Zaccai was guided by his "role model" of an older brother into the Kavilo forest. It was supposed to be a game. A way for the brothers to bond, or get closer. Alas, Zaccai was only abandoned by his childhood bully. All anyone ever heard about thereafter was that a pair of flaring blue eyes approached the younger of the two. That was the last seen of Zaccai.

Kavilo forest, the wild territory just beyond Mezan, was filled with a variety of Egnarions. The location was known for rarely letting travelers survive. Yet, an Egnarion swooped up the lost boy shaking in silence. It flew and flew till it traveled far across the rolling seas into an unknown region. All before abruptly dropping the boy and disappearing. Thyrea, Zaccai soon came to learn was where he ended up. He traversed the land all alone, and endured to make his way back to Orh.

But of course, the feat seemed nearly impossible for a solo 9 year old human in Thyrea. All until Zaccai caught the opportunity to stow away on a ship. It was going well. Crammed, but well. He'd learned up to that point that he had boarded an Orhian ship on assignment of deporting half-breeds, a sorrowful sight Zaccai would never forget. The drop off was complete, and now the crew was sailing back to Orh. Up until they were struck by a pirate raid. Bursts and yells rang throughout the upper deck, tilting and swerving the ship in all directions. He heard tales about pirates back in Thyrea. Rarely did they steer their opponents' helm, often leaving it to sink after snatching their loot. And from the sound of it, these pirates had the upper hand. This Orhian team wasn't going to make it out alive. What followed next was a flurry of actions. Zaccai made a mad dash, sneaking where he could. But of course at least one pirate from the crew spotted him. It didn't take long at all for the opposing crew to hold the kid hostage in front of confused Orhian faces. But all Zaccai felt was pressure. Pressure from the war-torn gnarling pirate faces combined with the sharp Orhian glares. They probably thought he was a half-breed too. Either way, the kid was toast. He felt his soul already dissipating from his body. The pull of gravity somehow felt stronger as if it weighed down on his chest. All the blended obscure sensations made him want to-

Zaccai shot out an energy blast, roaring as he breathed out the power of the cosmos and launched a pirate overboard. Let's just say the home crew took their turf again, and brought him back to Orh under their newfound care. Lil' Nuke was born.

The trip concluded with a new beginning. Upon setting foot back on Orh, Zaccai immediately underwent Cytir questioning. He was automatically sorted into the House of Space right after. The following years mainly consisted of living in a lodge, and going through the usual Amier process. There he focused on studying magic, refining control, and memorizing stars and their legends. Zaccai passed the ritual at 18. True, he adapted to the Amier culture and traditions rather seamlessly. It was almost as if he'd been part of it all along. Though something was missing amongst all the stars, and a certain smile he got used to seeing.

Zaccai ventured back to Kairo at 21, not really promising his return. Afterall, it was a bold move to choose a path through the Kavilo forest . . not that he told anyone. It was a crazy stunt to most, but he had to come face to face with his past on the way to Kairo. If he made it. Zaccai was somewhat deep into the forest, veering more toward the Mezan area to integrate some practicality into his venture. That's when he saw a blue set of beastly eyes peering at him. " . . You again!" The mage pointed out as the Egnarian stomped out of hiding with a twisted grin. They recognized each other even after many years since their primary interaction. "I've gotta message to settle with ya!" Zaccai approached the Egnarian, while roughly rolling up his sleeves. Let's just say, the rest of his trip over was a cool breeze.

Zaccai approached his homeland with the perspective of there being much ground to cover. For one, clearing the news that he was in fact alive after all these years of people thinking his new Egnarion eliminated him at 9. The rest of the items followed after. Upon arrival, he was able to clear the itinerary. Zaccai met up with his parents, explained the tales of Amier, and reunited with his best friend . . now head of Kairo. Yet one book was left unclosed. Him and his older brother were still tense. Er, the tension was more balanced one way than the other. His older sibling seemed as if his own re-telling of the story had been true. He was happy to have his younger brother back around. Meanwhile, Zaccai bottled up his emotions, utilizing his learned skills from Amier to control the fire he really felt deep inside. It was easy . . he was numb. After a year or two of staying over at Kairo to catch up, Zaccai traveled back to Amier then carried on with his way of life. Now that he had more closure, he was able to open more stories and begin.

Since then, the man's been leveraging his income as a premier blacksmith with exclusive techniques carried from Kairo's finest line of smiths. He's also been regularly investing in buying land within Amier, ranging from spaces for rent to mini plots of farmland. All of this on top of balancing his time as a member of the military reserve.
Luciani Medesicas (Lutz): They've known each other for a while now, give or take 18 years. According to her, they were friends from the start. According to him, they were friends . . meh borderline acquaintances. Though Zaccai wasn't blind to Lutz and Roya's friendship through it all. When Roya left, it shook Lutz out of character. She tuned out the world around her. Till that fateful day when Zaccai decided to get around town his own way. That's when he heard her laugh, and finally saw her smile. He figured that'd be his aim for a while, to get Lutz out of her funk. And that's what he did. They eventually sailed to Lasagna together per her request, and his protectiveness over her crew across the seas. Since then the two have been somewhat close friends, balancing each other every which way.

Harridan Akratorlen (Ang): Anghval and Zaccai were brothers by choice. They bonded closely in Kairo before the world dragged their storylines apart. When Ang's family issues re-surfaced within the community, Zac stood strong with him. Their friendship ran deeper than blood. An unwarranted turn of events then kept Zac from return to Kairo, marking the start of both mages taking hiatuses through the years. It led Ang to believe Zac had passed on, while leading Zac to believe Ang wouldn't return. Yet both nearly decade long journeys didn't stop them from reuniting later on. And even still, they always picked up where they left off.

Appearance: Azhin is a woman who hides her identity beneath a tattered cloak of red and a mask of iron. Azhin stands at the height of 5'8" with a lean frame. A few locks of raven hair occasionally slip out of her hood, and what little skin is exposed by her attire reveals a ghostly pale complexion.
Weapon and Equipments:

Soulripper- A pair of razor-sharp scythes attached to a chain fashioned in the likeness of a black spine. The chain is enchanted to elongate up to 30ft in length and regrow its severed parts. The blades themselves are made of sturdy Egnarion Chitin, reinforced with another enchantment to make it virtually indestructible. It's sangria in color, with a crimson gem embedded at each blade's center. It exudes a dark aura when in use.

Shrouded Boots - When activated, a pair of leather boots are enchanted to make the wearer featherlight. It's useful for subterfuge missions as well as for maneuvering agile feats and minimizing fall damage.

Dagger - A small and simple knife hidden in Azhin's boot.

Bracelet - A bracelet made of a long trail of tiny beads. The beads can be removed from the string. While the beads themselves are entirely normal, the string of the bracelet is actually Azhin's focal point.

Magic and Abilities:

Azhin devoted her life to studying Shantorian magic, specifically the branches of Hexing and Necromancy. It's her mastery over these branches of dark magic that made her an elite member of the clergy, monikered "The Reaper."

The Maledictions: A series of Curse spells that must be cast for at least a minute to take effect. The ritual's duration scales accordingly with the spell's intensity, radius, and time. The casting requires excellent focus; leaving the inflicted radius will end the curses immediately (except for Repentance). Once the malediction has been cast, it isn't automatically activated. Instead, Azhin must first utter a specific phrase.

Malediction of Darkness - A fog of darkness shrouds the indicated radius of a cursed victim or object. Individuals caught within the affected area will have their visions impeded, shortening their range of vision to five feet. Things or spells that produce light may improve vision within the fog. One minute of casting time is equal to one foot of darkness, with a maximum of 180ft (3hrs).

Malediction of Madness - A curse is cast upon a target, causing its surrounding area to be filled with maddening laughter, screams, sobs, and whispers of varying volumes. All of them are designed to enrage the subject and send them to a fit of blind violence. One minute of casting is equal to half a minute of duration, with a maximum of 180 minutes.

Malediction of Sloth - Individuals caught in the cursed radius are afflicted with sluggishness. Their movement is reduced to 75% of their average pace. It may only affect living things. One minute of casting time is equal to one foot, with a maximum of 60ft (1hr).

Malediction of Repentance - A dying individual is cursed to servitude after death. The spell binds the last of the victim's mana to the caster, enabling them to summon the target's ghost in the future through necromancy. The ritual for this curse lasts from half a day to even several nights.

Cleanse - A spell for exorcising curses and ghosts. It can only be cast successfully when the target is willing or adequately weakened. When successful, the target is engulfed by a cleansing flame that does no harm to their wellbeing.

Call the Dead - A series of spell that allows Azhin to call upon and command the dead.

Summon Chakas - Azhin calls forth weaker ghosts to do her bidding. Chakas may materialize in a variety of mangled forms, having the ability to phase through objects. While Azhin can summon multiple of them, with a maximum of one hundred Chakas simultaneously, they are frail in nature and can only a magazine worth of regular bullets. Chakas are incapable of free will and are majorly devoid of any intellectual thoughts, however, they are capable of relaying information to Azhin via baby speak.

March of the Hundred - A hundred Chakas are summoned into battle. Casting this spell will exhaust nearly all of Azhin's mana.

Ghastly Shroud - A coagulation of Chakas wrap themselves around Azhin, serving as her armor. The armor's strength depends on the amount of Chakas used. Furthermore, its ghostly nature infers that the armor doesn't impede Azhin's speed nor does it provide any additional strength.

The Court of the Damned - Azhin summons one of the ghost of the bearers of the Malediction of Repentance. The ghosts disappear when they accumulate a number of critical hits, but they can be summoned again after a day of rest. She can only summon one member of the Court at a time, and has to wait ten minutes for her to summon another after the first one dissipates.

Ulric, The Undying King - A colossal ghost of the old is deployed into the battlefield. Ulric's ghost stands at an imposing height of 40ft, capable of exerting titanic strength which can rival that of an S-class Egnarion. Ulric wields an equally gigantic battleaxe that can level a normal establishment with a single swing.

Vahal, the Banshee Queen - The wraith of Vahal, a Cytir mastermind who once attempted to overthrow the royalty, is summoned to the battlefield. Vahal is capable of releasing strong sonic screams and allowing Azhin to gaze through her eyes. Furthermore, she appears to be the most coherent and intelligent member of the Court, albeit incapable of freewill nonetheless.

Nuvee, the Death Knight - The mangled ghosts of Sir Nushyn of Mezan and his trusty steed Vee were gruesomely merged together to form Nuvee, the Death Knight. The Death Knight possesses a thundering speed and wields a jousting lance fused with his hand. He's been convicted to servitude after death after he was caught copying Sierran experiments involving the fusion of an Egnarion and a human.

Miodum, the Defiled Bishop - A Lessana mage convicted of heresy after he was discovered to be leading a small following devoted to himself. The ghost of Miodum is capable of casting "wicked ass light bolts" (AI) and healing fellow undead. Miodum can also fortify summoned Chakas, allowing them to take up to seven hits.

Zighor, the Deathless Rook - An Asba mage who was overcome with madness, winding up massacring a small village. A master of weaponry, Zighor can summon and wield a wide range of weapons from the depths of his own flesh. He is quite sturdy and can tank several critical hits before being unsummoned.
Personality

Azhin is an aloof person with an objective mind. She is straightforward and time-efficient, vocal about her dislike of idling around and wasting time. She speaks using as few words as possible and usually isn't one to strike idle chitchat. The priestess very much prefers staying quiet and observing others, possessing quite a distrustful nature. Even so, Azhin tries her best to be cordial and courteous when interacting with others, generally keeping her suspicions to herself unless it's of concern to the Order.

As someone who has been raised by members of the clergy all her life, Azhin is blindly loyal to the Orhian faith. She has little to no compassion for heretics, a truth that she has no qualms in expressing with cold blood. On the other hand, she appreciates the devotees and is willing to go to lengths for their safety.

Azhin is the youngest daughter of Matriarch Mivrix Farrenhal, the current Head of the Order of the Chosens. Her mother's identity ensured that she'd be spending the preponderance of her early life in the Cathedral. Azhin had to spend every morning studying the Origin Accounts as a youth until she had everything inscribed in her mind. As for her afternoons, she spent them attending primary training with the young initiates and the mentor priests. It's without a doubt that Azhin's fate was already written in stone before she came to this world. She was born to become a part of the clergy.

At the age of fourteen, the Matriarch brought Azhin to the depths of the Cathedral, where she met the first ghost she had ever seen. Ulric, the Undying King, revealed itself to be the ghost, a colossal lich anchored to a phylactery kept by the Order in secrecy. The Matriarch conducted a ritual to transfer Ulfric's anchor point from the phylactery to Azhin herself. It was an agonizing process that took three nights, bearing the fruit of success at the final dawn when Azhin woke up with the ability to summon Ulric's ghost.

Pleased by the success, the Matriarch herself delivered the young Azhin to House Shantor, where she learned the arts of hexing and necromancy. Azhin took on the Shantorian test, Mara Hasha, four years after the event. While Azhin never became a master of shadowmancy, she survived the trial through the help of Ulfric and her expertise in the dark arts.

After succeeding, Azhin returned to the Cathedral to integrate herself into the clergy. From then onwards, she dedicated her time to mastering exorcism and hexing under the Matriarch.
Azhin currently continues to be a proud member of the clergy, tirelessly accomplishing missions to the best of her abilities. Her feats earned her the moniker "the Reaper.”
Matriarch Mivrix Farrenhal - The relationship between Azhin and her mother is more of a student-pupil more than anything. Azhin regards the Matriarch with the utmost respect, wholeheartedly confident in her judgement and strength to lead the religion.

Zocrux Farrenhal - Zocrux and Azhin has a rocky relationship shrouded by a one-sided rivalry from Zocrux's end. It's obvious that the man holds ill will to his sister for hoarding all of their mother's attention.

Liridon Alvis - Liridon is Azhin's trusted enchanter. She respects Liridon as both a mage and an artisan and considers herself lucky for being acquainted with the man during one of her many travels. Liridon is one of the few people allowed to touch Azhin’s beloved weapon, Soulripper. As such, the priestess makes sure to leave Liridon a hefty tip after a job well done.

Appearance: A massive master of combat that is built like a brick garderobe of an ancient castle. This Thyrean warrior stands at an impressive 6'4" (194 cm) tall and 198.14 lbs (90 kg), ensuring him to be a capable, physical threat against any opponent caught unawares. Hair black as coal, long enough to flow with the wind. Ears oval and wounded from life on Thyrea. Giant, powerful hands used to tightly hold anything, be it: a handle, throat, or even books. Eyes, colour of blue so light that it approaches white. Body plagued by scarification, much to his chagrin. Often he wears his tribal girdle over his brown-ish gambeson and trousers. A grey cloak unfolds down to his waist, coming from the strap with a metallic brooch placed on the right side of his clavicle. A black metal helmet with menacing curved horns is also part of his usual attire.
Abilities:
-Mountainous Strength: Khonsue's physicality and danger-enduring life have granted him immense strength, able to easily manhandle men of similar size and beasts that slightly exceed his weight.

-Warrior's Agility: Despite the Crescentborne's size: the man's dexterity, speed, and manoeuvrability are surprisingly high;

-Deceptive Knowledge: Khonsue has been taught by the tribe's shaman to levels of basic literacy, but through his own merit (and various manuscripts, books, documents left behind by the Sierrans and Orhians), Khonsue is quite the learned scholar.

Equipment:
-Bejeweled Axes: A matching pair of hand axes that the Crescentborne "inherited" from a salvaging spring on a battlefield. Their handles are rough from battle scars and possess a soft, spongy sheath on the centre. Like their namesake, these hand axes have a circular jewel embedded in the side of their heads. Khonsue has learned that, during night-time/low-light conditions, he can blind opponents by striking the twins together emitting a blinding red light in front of him.

-Tribal Gambeson: Thanks to Khonsue and his shamans, the tribe has rediscovered the art of quilting and has, for the most part, replaced their leathery attire for this sturdier outfit.

-Lunar Pauldron: This protective piece rests on Khonsue's left shoulder, it also connects to a brooch that holds his grey cloak.

-Skull Girdle: Mostly decoration, but its metallic skull is quite frightening.

-Horned cranium: A helmet made of unknown metal with decorative horns.
It is easy for one to mistake Khonsue as just another manic savage that lives on Thyrea, only to be surprised when that same madman catches them off-guard. Cold and calculating with only one objective goal on the Crescentborne's calloused mind: the survival of his tribe. Always striving to improve their livelihood, to protect them from danger, and to enrich their souls. But while he has one aim, his personal desires number in the many. From his earliest memories that he could recall, exploration and knowledge were always at the forefront of his child mind. That desire to learn is still present to this day, only tempered by life's brutal experiences. Proud but never arrogant, Khonsue will always be the first to defend his people's honour and the first to doubt himself as their leader, whether through word or blade does not matter. When dealing with outsiders, Khonsue adopts a stone-walled approach unless the strangers arrive for commerce, then the moon-eyed man will peer and discuss from atop the metaphorical wall. He is also wary of war, it is a costly endeavour yet also realises the inevitable folly of living peacefully on an island of harsh reality. In that way he views it as a necessary, a chore, one that must be done. Free time is next to impossible for the warrior but, if even one second is available then he will seize the chance. He particularly enjoys swimming with the caprasyreni in the rivers. Looks forward to any discussion of technology though magic isn't always too far behind as well. Insight collection and others. Many have spoken of his punitive cruelty towards attackers of his tribe. Strong-willed few things could shake him to his core.
It is unsure how long the Aket'Shahti have existed in Thyrea, nor even from which nation is their ancestor. Regardless of their origins, be it Sierran or Orhian, these hardy lads and lasses are born and bred Thyreans now. Forged in the merciless wilderness of Thyrea, the Aket'Shahti was first formed under the war-banner of Alaric Lord. An ancient Sierran disillusioned with his home country for reasons now lost to time. Whatever his reasons may be, he and his followers journeyed to Thyrea remaining there forever. His isolationist tactics ensured that their descendants would rarely if ever come into contact with either Orh or Sierra. At first, they possessed no name but as decades... Nay, generations went by, a new name had emerged: The Aket'Shahti or otherwise translated as the Sentinel Lords of Alaric.

There have been many leaders in Aket'Shahti, who have taken the tribes reigns to lead them with but one adage to always follow. They must survive. It is undeniable that there have been high points and low points in the Clan's history. They are in such a period right now, since the last war between the two superpower nations had the unintentional (or perhaps intentional) side-effect of devastating clan, they have struggled to recuperate fully. They had only managed to survive the war, thanks to Darwish Crescentborne's stealthy manoeuvres that kept them out of the crosshairs of the two nations. Once the bloody conflict had ended, Darwish had focused all his efforts on restoration even though he knew that the task would last beyond his lifetime. They had always been a nomadic tribe with no permanent residence but the lost kin, supplies, and egnarions were never going to come back over night.

Unfortunately, Darwish's life would come to a bitter close because of the foolish actions of one man. His first born son and current ruler, Khonsue Crescentborne. This came to happen because Khonsue in his ignorance and youthful ambition had provoked a war with a rival tribe that lived amongst the trees. The conflict that occurred was bloody for both sides. The forest folks had metal weaponry that outpaced the tribal's mere bows in range, speed, and firepower. But once the distance (in large part, thanks to the Shamans weaving basic defensive spells) had been closed then they were outmatched by the tribe's physicality. With their last breath, the tree-dwellers scorched their weaponry and half of their resources so that their conquerors may not be satisfied with all of their war-earned rewards. Darwish had lost his life to an assassin and the tribe was left leaderless. Many had wanted to execute the 26-year-old Khonsue for being so bone-headed to invoke such a conflict on them, but repentant for his ways, Khonsue suggested exile for three years from the clan during which a council of three shamans and three family members would lead the Aket'Shahti. Everyone agreed and Khonsue now armed with a broken sword, horned helmet, and loincloth ventured into the wilderness for three years.

Three years later, he returned from his self-imposed exile a changed man. His eyes had been opened by nature, knowledge, and blood. The tribe welcomed him back but with wariness, their council had served them well so the return of the prodigal son would not bode well for them. But to their surprise, he did not disband the council, instead choosing to co-rule with them. This was to be the first of many decisions that would earn the favour of his people. It has been four years since then, but the tribe had begun to steadily grow both in populace and prosperity. It is all Khonsue had ever wanted since that day. But even he dreads the uncertain future and hopes for their sake to weather the storm.

Appearance: A glassy eyed young woman with a head of red hair and a face full of freckles. Philomena treats her wardrobe like a game, constantly wearing eccentric and accessories atop her otherwise drab uniform. Her closet is full of Cornelius's finest in strange fashion. Well, finest for her limited income. The game of it comes in making the strange clothes seem natural with her FCPD uniform. While not on the job, Philomena keeps to practical clothes with a colorful flourish. On finer days she also wears far less practical clothing such as dresses.
Abilities:
Prodigal Soldier- It is easy to think Philomena weak due to her personality, but in her early years she was trained to be a top class soldier. Her time at Nevalio fighting in the wilderness has left her with a plethora of survival skills, medical knowledge, unarmed combat, and proficiency with and against a variety of weapons. From knives to rifles, Philomena is probably proficient with it. Even with her smaller build Philomena far exceeds many of her fellow officers when it comes to tense combat situations.

Elegant Agility-
Philomena supplements a lack of natural strength with confident speed and surprising flexibility. This in combination with her combat knowledge makes her more than capable of felling someone twice her size in a matter of seconds. On top of this, Philomena is especially dexterous and is faster with her hands than most.

Keen senses-
Due to her time in the frozen wilds up north, Philomena possesses the keen senses of a hunter. Especially useful for sleuthing.

As an officer of FCPD Philomena has permission to use the plethora of equipment within the armory. From rifles to stun batons, and even sometimes some of the more experimental equipment made by Cornelius's best inventors. She even has access to an exo-suit, though she needs to gain clearance to use it.

Fenkalian Mooncycle Mk. III-
A fine piece of Sierran technology, this rare machine is the cream of the crop. While there are faster Moonwheels in production, those are not available for public purchase and cannot be legally owned or purchased. As such this is the best one can get their hands on. This machine is known for its high top speeds and ability to quickly decelerate and accelerate. Equipped with a radio and connected headpiece. Philomena's personal favorite way of travel.

Standard Issue Pistol-
The standard pistol given to all officers of the law. Low powered and semi-automatic, the firearm isn't impressive but it gets the job done.
Philomena is a peculiar type of person. She is candid, earnest to a fault, and true to herself. She does what she wants when she wants to, and doesn't let anyone tell her otherwise. A childish wonder dances behind a glassy eyed gaze. She cares not for shame, though she does understand it. Fiery passion fuels the flames of her wildest whims, to such an extent that not even the stench of failure or the fear of endangerment can stop her from what she desires. Her undying stubborn chase of what she wants is both her greatest boon and her biggest weakness. Once she has something she wants to do, you'll be hard pressed to stop her from doing so. To make matters worse, she wears an impossible to read expression. Not in that it is an emotionless mask, just that she expresses her feelings in the strangest difficult to read ways. One would think that someone who chases things with foolish relentlessness would be a hopeless fool, but Philomena is deceptively crafty and resourceful.

Philomena talks in circles and walks the same way, often spending much too time on nothing at all. She has an impossible attention to detail and an unfathomable imagination. Blank walls spring forth with color at her presence, heads turn with each step she takes, and every little things so much more important at her side. She can be hard to read at first, especially being a cop. It is easy to assume she is a deceptive mastermind, someone with a dubious plan to extract what they desire from those around her. It is easy to think her easy going childishness is nothing more than a curtain for some scheme. This plays into her efficacy of her work. She is impossibly effective in interrogations. Her cheery, hard to read disposition leaves criminals either confused, enthralled, or simply outclassed. On the field her dreamy attention to detail means no stone is left turn, no thread left untied. Though, she is also known to get lost in it all easily and distracted from what is important and what is mere coincidence.

Philomena is hard to not get along with for most. Unless one is either an extremely bitter personality or someone who can't handle the truth, Philomena has a contagious curiosity that pulls any conversation in fun and interesting directions. Not one moment with her is dull, she is always doing something that spreads light across the room. Because of her sociable personality, she is actually very empathetic and despite her operating solely off her desires, she often makes sure to go out of her way to do what she thinks is best for those around her.

Philomena lived her whole life not thinking she would not amount to much. Born into the brutal northern lands of Navalio, Philomena was subjected to the harsh militaristic training customary of the training, though she ended up moving away from the land to greener pastures part of the ways through her training. She drifted along Sierra for a while, bumming off of whoever she could and generally being a hamper on society. She fell into drug abuse and became entangled in some not so legal business. She was apprehended quickly, and spent a short amount of time in jail for her crimes. The experience left a mark on her, though. She saw her opposition and became interested in what they did. That is, police work. After spending her short amount of time in jail, she worked towards obtaining the merits required of an officer. It didn't take long, her training in Navalio made sure of that. The hardest hurdle was overcoming her criminal background, but she worked through it eventually and climbed her way through the force, proving herself to be an interesting and overall effective officer of the law, other than her utter incompetency when it came to paperwork. Appearance: Astrid is a vicious looking specimen, with a chronic case of resting bitch face. Most might akin her features to snake-like; a slender body, twisted facial expressions and macabre desire pasted across her lips. She has a Sierran edge to her attire, scrapped together with technology littered across no-man's land, equipped without elegance. What is not made of metal, is supplemented with old drabs she hangs over her body, stitched together beiges and reds. Most notably, she has a prosthetic arm made up of hasted design and execution, a disgrace to the Sierran legacy, but none-the-less effective. To add to her foreboding appearance, Astrid wears red face paint, made up of some mysterious crimson liquid.

House of Earth: By all accounts, Astrid is a lousy mage. She has little skill and accuracy with her leverage of the earth, but she is nonetheless capable and dangerous in her element, even if she is not unstoppable like her contemporaries can be.

Equipment:
Prosthetic Arm: Her right arm has been replaced by a steel prosthetic, courtesy of Sierran technology. While not the standards of its origins, it gives her a level of strength and durability that a limb of flesh just cannot. It also hoists a hidden blade Astrid can quickly summon if a deed needs to be fulfilled quickly. Astrid, however, must be mindful of over-exposure to moisture or poor maintenance, as this can lead to rusting.

Monocular: Taken from a Sierran corpse, her monocular gives her the ability to see clearly at longer ranges.

Poisoned Throwing Knives x5: Astrid coats her throwing knives in snake venom, resulting in a neuro-toxic response that can paralyze even the strongest of men in a few minutes. In addition to this, she makes sure to carry the anti-venom to her knives, just in case she is in a good mood.

Personality: You could call blood Astrid's form of currency. She is no stranger to death, and almost walks hand and hand with its presence day-to-day. This has caused a mental shell to grow around her, estranged to the fear and anxiety that death chains itself to. Astrid is bold because of this, able to make quick decisions, even if they might end in her death. She is not a master tactician, hardly intelligent when it comes to planning, but she knows how to cause chaos and is unpredictable enough to be an organized unit's enemy. However, if apathy towards death is her knife, her neuroticism is her shield of choice. She has an inability to trust those around her, even those who have pledged themselves as her closest friends. The only thing that will soothe this is collateral, or a promise to ruin anything that crosses her.

Despite her own inhumanity, there is a part of Astrid that desires to be loved and adored. She is not immune to building comradery between others, though difficult, she is even able to share a joke. Astrid has enough charisma to gain leverage will people and negotiate, though it is clearly not her strong suit. She is also capable of gratitude in extreme circumstances and stays true to the debts she has incurred. To those within her group, she is extremely protective, even if she may not look at them more than pawns.
History: Astrid was born in Ban Kairo, to the House of Earth. Family life was not easy for her, as Astrid's father was ruthlessly talented and expected highly of his daughter, while her mother was known as a woman of few words and demands. Her life was regulated, etched out in meticulous detail by her father. From training, to each individual breath, Astrid's life was scheduled and organized for her to follow in her father's footprints. What could not be planned, however, was her naturally vicious instinct. She was a village bully, putting those she viewed beneath her under a thumb. Her wrath only grew as she aged, compounded by the shame her clumsy advancement in magic caused. Her relationship with her father became dilapidated as her magic could only be described as mediocre, outpaced by peers who she had once squashed like insects but what she lacked in magic, she made up for in her physical capability. She was much faster and stronger than her female peers and could go toe-to-toe arm wrestling her male ones as well. This did not earn her father's approval, however. In a competition against a member of the House of Air, she was soundly beaten and humiliated. Her father, furious by his daughter’s incompetence had it organized that she would live her life patrolling No-Man’s Land. Despite never speaking of her father, Astrid has sparsely smiled since.

By all accounts, she was a good soldier--not a good ally, however. Her dominating personality was still present with her fellow soldiers, many of whom had experience that veiled hers. She was either hated or feared in her squad, but she was good at killing Egnarions and anyone trying to cross into Orh territory. This distaste for her, however, would ultimately lead to the end of her service. In a skirmish, an Egnarion had gotten the upper hand in the confrontation, causing the squad leader to issue a sudden retreat. A comrade of hers was about to be caught by the Egnarion, before he tripped Astrid to the ground to take the ensuing attack for him. The Egnarion had mauled her to near death, tearing off her arm in the process. Astrid would have died, had it not been for a Thyrean mechanic named Ollie, who scared off the Egnarion and tended to her wounds. As someone with access to Sierran tech, he offered to replace her arm with a prosthetic he made, but Astrid, born to hate tech, was disgusted by the offer. However, when she saw the stub she had for an arm, and the anger of being betrayed, she ultimately agreed to have it replaced. When her military unit discovered her equipped with Sierran technology, she was imprisoned and set for punishment. However, through poor holding conditions, she was able to escape due to a weakened bar in her cell and squeezing her body through the small gap. It was this incident that would earn her the title of "Desert Snake."

Since then, Astrid has formed a group, along with Ollie. She has slowly been accumulating misfits, offering herself as a “motherly,” figure to them, albeit a wildly strict one. Enraged and ashamed by her betrayal from her Orhian comrades, she makes it day to day, ransoming soldiers for food and water and stealing from the same units. She one day wishes to create a proper home for herself and the other misfits, where the tradition of Orh cannot reach them.

Grimm is a very pessimistic person, growing up in a rough environment does wonders for the personality. he's sly and cunning, but cocky. he enjoys staying mysterious and in the shadows bother literally and personality wise. he's calm until any magic is involved. he despises magic and blames it for his problems in life. he strongly believes that if magic didn't exist he'd still be with his family. beware the dance will death, for he will catch up faster then you can run.
Born magic in sierra to a magic mother, Grimm had it out for him from the beginning. his mother and him were sent to be exiled from sierra when he was only 4 years old. thankfully, a sierran detective took pity on the poor child and snuck Grimm back into the country that condemned him. from then on, he lived in the streets, struggling to survive as a child and until he was older. once he grew old enough, he learned how to protect himself, and how to get good money. and quickly. he became a mercenary, taking on any job that would get him quick cash. to this day he still is employed as a mercenary at 22, the spite of his situation keeping him going for god knows how long.

Rvynia's beauty is like a freshwater river cutting through the forest. Clear and free of blemishes, but is usually nothing more than ripples of background noise. Pleasant enough to listen to and tune out, but often overlooked in favor of beautiful forestry scenes or serene, graceful lakes, complimenting the even more jaw-dropping majesty of whole mountains. In the same spirit, when compared to some of her other female relatives who spend nearly every waking hour in front of their vanities, her features could even be described as somewhat plain.
Rvynia is attuned to this fact, but in the end, it is the nature of the river to keep its course towards the ocean, where the possibilities are endless. Her most striking feature are her eyes; piercing as jade stone and as iridescent as the waters of the Thames. For Rvynia, identity is nothing more than the sum of one's actions. Love often came in the form of high expectations and that meant that her value often depended on her performance. You are only as good as your last success.
Of course, success in her world is a fickle, capricious creature. Insubstantial and forever fleeting, like a summer's fine mist of rain. Glamorous titles of nobility passed from one relative to the next, estates traded and repossessed with every new generation, endless functions, balls and theatrical appearances as authentic as the faux-egnarion leather drapes adorning her chambers.
But really, what need is there for authenticity when pride can do all the legwork? Despite being the offspring of a disgraced eldest son of Claudamion Sierra himself, Rvynia has no shortage when it comes proud idealism; in herself, in her family and most importantly, in the blood and legacy that runs through her veins as a descendant of their triumphant nation's founder, Alexandra Sierra.
It's no surprise then, that some may look and only see an unconventional, headstrong girl who refuses to let her tainted, disgraced blood affect her future. Others, an out-of-touch, cold, perfectionistic deity whose sole saving grace is her cursed lineage. Appearance: Vesper is 6'3 with a fit build and a number of interesting features. She takes on the appearance of some feline-esque Egnarion (Karbivat), with long pointed ears, a long and full tail, greyish fur coating her body, thick claws, and paws. She tends to dress herself in whatever armour or neutral/dark gear they can scavenge in Thyrea. What little human flesh she has left has paled significantly among striking hazel feline eyes.
Regenerative Healing - being augmented with the Karbivat, Vesper has the ability to regenerate health and self-heal, including wounds, broken bones, tissue etc. The Karbivat does this at an incredibly fast rate, however, Vesper regenerates at a much slower rate, taking hours, sometimes even several days or weeks to heal, depending on the severity and size of the injury done to her. This by no means is easy either, and can often leave in her pain while waiting for everything to mend itself.

High Speed - with Vesper’s new limbs, she is capable of moving in longer strides and running much faster than most who are not Hybrids.

Great Hearing - Vesper can hear up to half a mile away (in perfect conditions). If particularly noisy or if there are other sounds in the way, this is lessened somewhat.

Thousand Arms Kombat - Vesper has previous training in these techniques from Dianco, meaning she’s equipped to fight up close in melee including hand-to-hand combat, swords, and knives, and long ranged, including dirks, spears and javelins, and guns. However, she chooses primarily to fight with a long and short bladed katana.

Juggernaut Licensed - though it matters little in Thyrea, she is licensed and fully trained to use a Juggernaut.

Equipment

Nox - her long katana, once thought to be an iridium-based weapon. However, it hasn’t been powered or charged up in quite some time, and prefers using it as simply a normal weapon.

Umbra - a short bladed katana that Vesper can wield with one hand. It isn’t an iridium charged weapon and was a matching counterpart to her long katana.

Armour - these can be found as gauntlets on Vesper’s arms, armour around her waist and legs. She tends not to wear a lot so not to limit mobility.

Vesper had her life mapped out. She'd join Sierran's military, become one of the best soldiers in her regiment. They'd sing songs of her, immortalise her in the history books. She'd make her family proud of her, show herself off to be a loyal and steadfast Sierran. That was what she always wanted. She kept her head down and put herself through training at Dianco just to prove herself, to propel her name further among Sierra's military.

And she did, for quite awhile. She took interest in the Juggernauts while training at the Twin Towers, and was eager to apply for her licence. As always, there was nothing impossible when she put her mind to it. She earned her licence with ease and was already on her way to making great strides within the military. She was doing as she had always dreamed of. She was getting stronger.

And then she vanished.

For awhile, people cried out for justice, to find her. How could Sierra let a fine soldier vanish, not even think to search for one of their own who had been coming on leaps and bounds? The cries lasted for awhile, until they all began to fade, one by one, and the only reason people spoke of her name was in pity or wonder at wherever she disappeared to. She was quickly forgotten, like several that went missing.

She was dealt some bad cards, pure and simple. She needed a solution, something that would help her, make her stronger, and quickly. She took interest in experimental treatments that she believed help. She was greedy and desperate. She had worked so hard and the world had dealt her some horrible cards as a reward. She never knew that once she entered Lheleats and that facility that she would never return to the rest of Sierra again.

The experiments were gruelling. They were a woman’s crude attempt at surgery, what she learned had been a practised process for the past number of years with very few successes. She wasn’t sure if it was some will of the gods, her own will to survive, or just pure luck, but Vesper had pulled through most of the surgeries, and the agony and illness she endured as a result afterwards. Her ‘creator’ claimed it was her resolve that allowed her to survive, and that her body had come to accept the new parts of her.

Vesper eventually grew with strength, feeling more capable than she ever did before, confident that this augmentation would work wonders for her. She was spending her months rehabilitating, training, intending to return to society. That didn’t quite work out as planned with the lab she was being kept in had been stormed by the Sierran military after receiving a tip-off about potential augmentations being performed. She knew that if she was caught, if they found out about her willingness in these experimentations, she would be done for.

And so, in the madness, she managed to make her escape, trying to hide in the ghost town of Porahn for as long as she could. When that couldn't be managed, she eventually found her way to Thyrea, to live among the rest of the rejects, and stir in what she had decided for herself.

For years, she spent her days wandering, scavenging, fighting, discarding her old name and her past to the wind. She would not need it anymore, she was sure, if she was set to survive and try not to die within Thyrea.

Vesper eventually joined a bandit group, believing it would be another short stay before moving on. However, their leader’s ideals, their goals, the close-knitted structure of the group, seemed to awaken something in her once again. Why waste the rest of her days wandering when she could put her strength to a different goal? And so she stayed, finding a new spark that kindled loyalty to those around her, finding a purpose to keep away the reality that eats away at her.
Astrid ( Castello ): Vesper admires Astrid for both her resilience and her dedication to her goals. She prefers to stay in the background and keep to herself in many cases, so she likes letting Astrid being the frontrunner she deserves to be.

Appearance: Theon stands at 6'1", with a well-built body despite the magic focus from a life of strenuous effort and training. Snow white hair falls down to his upper back when let free, and bright golden eyes hide a fierce gaze. As Crown Prince, his appearance takes great importance. He wears fine clothing and various accessories, from rings and bracelets to earrings and necklaces. Perhaps not typical of a dark mage, but no one's complaining.
As a powerful Dark Mage and descendant of Alreaus, Theon specializes in the summoning and manipulation of attacks devoid of light, as well as the manipulation of the target's own senses to lead to an enemies' downfall in a largely offensive fashion. While Hexes and Necromancy had their allure, Theon preferred a more hands-on approach.

Theon's go-to magic involves generation and manipulation of shadows into whatever purpose he might need. From summoning black spears and spikes to rain down or shoot upon his enemies, to lashes and arcs to cut down what lies before him. His manipulations can take many forms, but will always have the unmistakable characteristic of being seemingly made of darkness. He might also use it to enshroud himself, covering himself in shadows to better escape into the night.

Another magic art Theon is proficient in is illusions. These allow the Prince to perform alterations to himself or others, up to deceiving an enemy at a pivotal moment in combat. He might alter his appearance to better blend in, or create the illusion of an item or creature. Perhaps he might go so far to create illusory copies of himself and his attacks, to confuse and overwhelm a foe. With any luck however, he might just use illusions to mess with with you.

Bejeweled Staff - A unique staff, for the head of the staff rests golden bangles and a long enchanted spike, fashioned to look ornamental rather than the bladed weapon it is. The jewels turn an inky black when the prince's mana flows though.

Odd hunting knife - a memento of the first time he ever hunted with his father, this oddly shaped knife stays hidden underneath his clothing.
The Crown Prince of Orh prides himself in his ability to connect and converse with anyone, from council members to the lowest of commoners. He loves Orh and it's people, and has no qualms heading into a rowdy tavern to hear the latest gossip. He regularly takes trips to go and see the members of the council, wanting to be on good terms with the House Heads and Church.

He isn't serious when he doesn't have to be; people tend to like a friendly prince over a pompous one, and the young man is more than happy to treat an Orhian with a kindness they might not expect. Divines, he might even joke and tease. But that does not mean he's lax, or can't flip a switch upon provocation. He's a perfectionist; not one to tolerate failure from both himself and most others, and forgoes friendliness in favor of a more cold, regal attitude when the situation calls for it.

When your mother is a descendant of the most powerful mage in Orhian history, and your father is a famous and powerful General known to be able to hold his own against even Titans, one has a lot to live up to. Expectations of perfection have weaved themselves into nearly every facet of Theon's life; the suffocating nature of strict tutelage and training taking up even his earliest memories. As an only child, his only relief from days in the sweltering courtyard or labyrinthian library were social gatherings or hunting with his father and cousin. One of these social gatherings was his own 7th birthday, a day that was bundled with the knowledge that he was to have an arranged marriage with a girl he met at the event. They seemed quite nice though, so despite the fact he was internally quite opposed to more of his freedoms being taken away, he began to try his best to build a happy relationship with the girl who was unfairly roped in with him. God knows he didn't want to have his parents' relationship.

As he got older, Theon became better used to his position, even as things got harder. He still occasionally snuck out and the like every now and then and spent the day with his fiancee on the rare occasion they came, but he had a role to play once he stepped back onto Citadel grounds. Sierra was a Thorn in Orh's side, and while his talents were widely recognized, Theon wanted more. He wanted perfection. The blood of Alreus and his father wasn't enough for him. If he wasn't learning tactics and strategy, or raising the people of Orh's opinion of him somehow, he was training his magic until he was barred from training any more until he recovered. He brought in the best teachers he could, even holding competitions for mages to gain the title of his teacher. He passed the Shantor Trial with flying colors despite his young age, and after several years he had exhausted the knowledge available to him that might further himself. It was then he learned of the Arconians. Even his ancestor Alreus was but a speck of dust compared to their overwhelming magical knowledge. Anything on them was elusive, but if it furthered his own growth as a mage and future King, he would find it.

Appearance: A long time admirer of simplicity, Feliks prefers to keep his wardrobe simple with a line of indistinguishable black suits, white button-ups occasionally paired together with a woolen trench-coat especially in cold weather, with the only things signifying his affiliation to the FCPD being his badge and an FCPD Armband, however during official addresses to the public and during meetings with the Fenikean leadership he almost always wears the standard Uniform jacket of the FCPD, (Keeping up appearances, as he says.).
The Human Lie-Detector: Growing up among a brood that considered lying second nature to protect their image, Feliks has adapted well to picking out the lies and half-truths people tend to sprout and almost takes a level of sadistic pleasure when people’s lies start to unravel before him and they begin to squirm and beg in desperation.

Skilled Administrator: Beginning from his days as a Functionary of the SSDP’s Youth Wing to his current office as the Precinct Commander. Feliks has shown great aptitude in organizational skills. Paper-Work is always done in time and organized in an efficient fashion,Feliks’ takes great pride in the fact that his precinct being one of the few in the entire city that doesn’t suffer from extensive bureaucratic bottleneck. Such a skill has certainly played a part in his rapid rise in rank despite his lack of natural charisma.

Feliks Gellert Kornel, had the fortune of being born into Cornelian Aristocracy and the misfortune of being born when the said aristocracy had all but lost it’s wealth and influence to the sands of time. Being the heir of the obscure and impoverished noble house of Kornel, barely clinging onto the remnants of their forgotten grandeur, that didn’t help his situation at all.

Growing up among the vestigial remnants of the Sierran Nobility was like growing up with a cabal of frauds. Well-practiced in the ways of deceit with false cordiality while secretly despising each other. It was a blur of one social event after another, coupled with a strict regimen to excel in the academic field.

During his University years, dissatisfied with both his lot in life and the situation Sierra was in general, he joined up with the Cornelian branch of the controversial Sierran Social Democratic Party. Apparently rising up to being the Vice-Secretary of the Fenikean branch of the Youth Organization by his last year in the Academy. It was also at this time when Young Feliks would meet up with his lifelong rival, a medical student from the same university who was vehemently opposed to his own views and a staunch supporter of the existing system, what began as a friendly rivalry centred around rhetorical debates about their political standings and the future of Sierra soon turned sour when both began ascending in their respective political organizations, to the point where neither could even look at the other without it devolving into fisticuffs. The Three years spent in the Academy were perhaps the liveliest of his life, However his involvement would also be the undoing of his prospects concerning Academia as an article he authored in the Party Newspaper criticizing the politicians of Cornelius for “Enabling the continued existence of the Military-Dictatorship that oppresses our compatriots in Aristride beneath their totalitarian jackboot. The existence of which within the Political Union is an undeniable affront to the democratic ideals of the Sierran Federation.” caused a scandal, resulting in a swift expulsion from the Academy.

Using the meager influence he had with the City Council, Kornel Senior managed to secure his son a place in the City’s Police Department despite his past controversy. So started his career in the force, beginning as one of the hundreds of lowly customs officers in the Port City. With a duty to make sure no contraband made it into the city, and the definition of contraband included people. Turns out young Feliks had a knack for rooting out such individuals, detecting deceit came as second nature. Soon enough the young customs officer had built up a reputation among his peers and of smugglers alike. In an assignment forced upon him as punishment he had indeed stumbled upon his calling in life.

Once the Command caught onto his skills, he was transferred over to the investigations department, a much more specialized and prestigious office, to make use of his skills in a wide range of cases, most important of which were to seek out and destroy traitors to the Republic.

It was during one such raid that another life-altering event occurred and changed the course of his life for good, It was meant to be a simple House Raid, the occupants had been suspected of use of magic, so it would either be a simple arrest warranting deportation or they would resist and be gunned down by the officers, however the reports had failed to mention that the actual source of the disturbance was a mere child. Left without any other option that would satisfy both his moral obligations, as well his obligations to the state, stuck between a rock and a hard place, The young inspector opted to use “initiative” for once, falsifying records for the kid while sentencing the mother as the true mage, rationalizing his actions as a way of getting rid of a true traitor while also protecting the innocent. So he found himself in charge of the well-being of a six year old child at the ripe old age of 23. All in all it was an eye-opening experience, showing the ramifications and true extent of the actions taken against such “criminals”.

Over his almost two-decade long career, Feliks has accomplished much in terms of his own career, rising up the ranks of the Police Force. Yet the unchanging problems of the city persisting no matter how hard him or his fellow officers tried to rid the city of it’s soaring crime rate coupled with the clashing interests between his own morals and the rigid laws of Sierra that go against them has eroded his own faith in the Cornelian System as well as his own views.

Appearance: Harridan is a very well built, athletic mesomorph, courtesy of the lengthy time he has spent practicing his physical abilities. Notably, there are almost always strange markings in red paint on his forehead, their purpose or symbolism not particularly known. In his day-to-day, Harridan dresses in relatively simple clothing, upon which he makes sure to however add small touches and emblems that grant him a little more flair than what would be considered appropriate. When in council meetings or other such important affairs, he makes sure to double down, donning pendants, rings and pins of great value, flaunting his wealthy freely onto any onlookers.
Elemental Tyrant: Harridan, as one could come to expect from the Head of house Kairo, is a true master of elemental magic.

The Roaring Inferno: Fire is his main element, and while it is of little utility, he wields its destructive power with completely horrifying strength. He can summon or manipulate preexisting flames for his own usage. Amusingly, perhaps, this work on all variants of “fire”, as many Sierran geniuses were horrified to discover. If anything, the more potent the heat and the chemical reaction, the stronger the resonance. He does have some skill in air and earth magic, but mostly in conjunction with the aforementioned inferno-explosions, smoke and bursts for air, and roiling magma or shrapnel for earth. He is completely unskilled in manipulating water in any form(always grumbled that it was ‘too quiet’)

Lord of The Wasteland: Harridan, and any equipment he is wearing or carrying are always immune to fire directly or indirectly caused by himself, as well as it’s aftereffects-he can breathe normally through the thickest of smoke, and see clear as day through the fog. For any other fire or smoke, this simply manifests as a large degree of resistance, which can be upgraded to immunity through active channeling. This is most taxing when performed against fires created by other Kairo mages, as then it becomes a clash of wills.
This benefit can also be granted to nearby allies-and indeed, it often needs to, as any battlefield Harridan is part of sooner or later becomes a hellish landscape- through another spell.

Soulfire: During his time in Thyrea, he encountered an Egnarion that was seemingly immune to all flames. A sane man would’ve left it well alone. Harridan instead obsessed for months on end until he was finally able to brute force his way through the problem. This enhancement he can perform on any of his preexisting fire spells, though it is quite taxing, in both time and mana, to the point where making any form of large-scale flame with this enhancement is unlikely to allow him to survive the toll. Upon completion, the enhancement turns the flame into a strange off-white color, which burns far hotter than even the lava found deeper in the planet’s core. Metal, Concrete, even normally flame-retardant materials all rapidly turn into sludge, with some of the less resistant ones being literally disintegrated into gasses.

Unstoppable Force: A very specialized manipulation of fire and air, this spell allows him to launch himself across distances. The actual distance traveled varies greatly upon the time spent channeling, variable from short dashes to literal colossal leaps through the air. Upon landing, the force is directed outwards into a fiery blast, while if the movement is parallel to the ground, more force is retained and focused upon his next strike.

He retains some mid-air maneuverability when under the effect of this spell. He can trigger the landing effect as a standalone-spell which is much briefer in activation.

Epicenter of Cataclysm: Harridan channels energy into a mortifying firestorm that surrounds him, continuously damaging opponents in the vicinity. Thick, seemingly impenetrable black smoke billows forth all in the area, taking vaguely threatening shapes and forms, all but entirely obscuring him. In addition, the firestorm always generates a strong draft that completely throws off the trajectory of all small mass or (relatively) low speed projectiles that enter the zone.

Upon ending, the firestorm explodes outwards up to four times.

Arrogance of Eons: One does not simply harm an undead creature-ordinary blows do not phase it whatsoever. With this spell, Harridan summons a short lived but incredibly durable shield of fire which can absorb immense amounts of punishment. The shield traps any incoming projectiles within it, releasing them as a barrage of molten slag upon the end of it’s duration.

A Million Souls and Counting: Having fully transformed, Harridan then turned to sculpting the flames in the image of his own nightmares-of the creatures that so haunted him throughout his life, the significance of the act marking him forever.

The Revenant’s Form: Harridan invokes magma to surround him, coating his entire corpus into an armor fashioned to look monstrous and terrible. Red-Hot coals shine brightly where his eyes once were, and searing horns glisten on his head, while his entire body reaches searing temperatures.
In addition to being armor of outstanding quality, the magic that animates it does not impede his speed in the slightest-if anything, the increased mass and energy lend a superhuman strength to his movement and strikes.

They are Hungry: Harridan can summon constructs made of fire and animated by his own magic. These can vary quite greatly, from flaming skulls that simply home in on enemies to terrifying entities with their own distinct abilities.

The constructs are not quite “alive” in the traditional sense, and as such, are effectively immune to any minor amount of damage-bullets and blades harmlessly sail through their corpus, while melee strikes, besides being a terrible idea due to proximity are simply wrenched into the creature, usually alongside the weapon, which the larger creatures have been known to hurl right back. Decently-sized blasts, continued assault or large projectiles are, however, capable of putting a serious dent in the entity’s cohesion, forcing it to expend more of it’s allotted mana to remain animate. Irdinite, due to it’s anti-magic properties, can also have this effect in sufficient quantities.

The strength and durability of these constructs scales with the resonance currently present in the environment. Lastly, it should go without saying, but these creatures are completely immune to fire damage.

Laughing Doom: Harridan begins a lengthy channel, pointing at one single enemy or space that he can see. As the channeling progresses, smokey wisps that vaguely look like laughing figures surround the target, and the wind around the target chimes as if giving voice to their mockery. Should the casting be allowed to finish unperturbed, Harridan can recast to activate The Jaws Snap Shut. Upon activation, a colossus, made of pure fire and with an enormous mouth leaps up from the bowels of the earth, consuming all in the affected area, centered around the target. This deals usually fatal damage to even huge or heavily armored creatures.

Welcome To My World: By far the most difficult spell Harridan has mastered, this ability is all but a death sentence unless he is in a suitably resonant environment. Even then, it takes upwards of four minutes to complete channeling. However, upon completion, the effects are legendary in their destructive capability. An entire area, chosen by him, is suddenly transformed into a hellish landscape, with thick smoke and fog, massive increases in temperature, and random pillars of flame appearing out of nowhere. In addition, inside of the afflicted area. constructs with properties similar to those described in They Are Hungry will appear, seeking out the nearest possible enemy and attacking, with their numbers and/or strength varying on how much mana remains on the spell.

This area counts as having the maximum possible resonance to any other fire mages, or fire constructs.

Equipment:

Pig Stick: A mockingly named metal glaive that Harridan uses as a focus for his powers. Unlike most mages, Harridan does not shy away from melee combat, and so this weapon has been heavily enchanted for both immense durability and astounding sharpness, allowing it to cleave and pierce objects that a normal glaive would not even come close to damaging, especially when paired with his boosted strength.

"Most aren't expecting an Orhian to be packing this. Most people are morons."

Ring of Whirlwind: A beautiful ring decorated with designs showing an Egnarion harnessing wind. This ring is enchanted with the power of speed, improving both Harridan's agility, movement capacity, and his reflexes.

"Strike with the speed of a fucking Hawk, and no mistake!"

Divine Pendant: Gods are not supposed to die, and neither are their chosen. This pendant, depicting a skull penetrated by a thousand arrows, has two effects-passively, it improves Harridan's natural healing rate moderately, which helps with cuts, bruises, and, most usually, hangovers. Actively, if he so chooses to utilize it, or automatically if he would ever take lethal damage, the pendant expends all of it's power into a burst of divine magic, replenishing a decent amount of mana and creating a shield around him that blocks a large amount of incoming damage for twenty seconds.

"They always are trying to kill me. But they can't fool me twice, eh?"

Assorted Flasks: "The only thing standing between our queen's incessant bitching and our mutual demise."

Mana Potions: "More fire is always good to have. These beauties here help with the, uh, refueling process."

Charred Spinning Top: "..."
-Possesses all sins imaginable, except for Sloth-He cannot abide inaction.
-Arrogant to a truly unholy degree, has challenged men to duels for the slightest provocation.
-Carries a heavy obsession with Damned spirits that linger on after death
-Utterly sociopathic, struggles greatly to connect with the people around him, and usually tries to do so through bribery.
-Sadistic and bloodthirsty, rarely passes up an opportunity to engage in either.
-Decent tactician, but loses his head easily.
Harridan is a man about which not much is known, not for some reason of great secrecy or some magical illusion, but for the much more mundane explanation that nobody really cares. His origin is irrelevant compared to his current presence. There are, however, many rumors abound regarding him. By piecing those together, some believe that they can get in his head, that they can extract some sort of leverage from him.

Fools All.

The most popular theory surrounding him speaks of a creature so evil, it brought misery into the world before it even existed. That creature was Anghval Velecrom, unborn son of Serena Velecrom. She was a truly terrifying fire mage of awe-inspiring power. As the at the time head of House Kairo, a direct confrontation with her was suicidal-thus, they went after her reputation. Careful rumors were planted that insinuated that the child was a byproduct of an affair between her and a slave were spread. Such rumors were untrue, of course, but that did not stop gossip from happening. The matriarch lost her husband, her reputation, the support of her own house. All because of that damned child.

A mage from Kairo itself disagrees. This Anghval was nowhere near the debauched fiend that Harridan Akratorlen is today, far from it. He was a quiet kid, ostracized for his dubious heritage but ultimately harmless. He spent most of his time training, away from others, which suited everyone just fine. An old man had taken pity and him, and took it upon himself to help train him, and early in his life he hung around a white-haired kid, but completely unremarkable apart from that.

Those that try to look deeper yet often come to the door of a retired Shantor priest, who, when given some details, does in fact reminisce about the time he started seeing a dark-haired boy that fits this description begin to frequent his congregation. The boy was clearly more and more troubled every week, and asked far too many questions about ghosts, Chakas, and the damned. The priest claims he tried to guide the poor soul as best as he could, but due to his very busy schedule at the time, was unable to perform an exorcism, not even when the child began to complain about vivid nightmares involving creatures that looked very much like ghosts. The priest defends his actions by saying that such concerns are very common amongst troubled individuals, and there was never any proof. If pressured further, however, he reveals that the last time he saw the teenager was very late at night. He saw him, battered and exhausted, with wide, terrified eyes.

"I am awake, father, yet I still see them. He is here."

The priest, eyes heavy with guilt, admits that he sent the boy away without another thought-it was very late, he was very tired, and no ghost could ever have come so close to a temple of the Order, so many times.

Another member of the Clergy speaks of a strange triple murder that happened at Kairo, and interpid investigators note that such a thing happened not even nine months after the priest's confession. It took the lives of three promising aspirants of House Kairo, all scorched to a crisp. The only indication of the culprit was a message burnt into the wall.

"I AM THE LORD OF ALL, AND I HAVE RETURNED."

For years, there seems to be a gap, and the thread is severed-yet a trader that went to Thyrea to find Egnarions speaks of a strange story one of the local guides told him. The man, clearly disturbed and shaken even by the mere memory of the event, tells of a most alarming encounter he had while scavenging an old battlefield. He says that he saw a man, burnt half to death, slowly limping across, exhausted and battered. A strange fiery creature loomed very closely behind, laughing all the while. Eventually, the man's legs gave out beneath him, and he collapsed onto the ground. The fiery creature leaped upon him, embedding itself into his flesh, through any orifice it could find. The man screamed something horrid, but eventually fell silent.

And then he started to laugh.

He laughed until it turned into a hacking cough, and even further, until he began to spurt out blood. Then, finally, he dipped his hands in the blood, and drew a symbol on his own flesh with them. Without another word, the man turned around, and, wheezing what to his strained lungs was probably a happy tune, turned and walked back, as if though all his previous exhaustion had evaporated in an instant.

But all these are but rumors and hearsay. The truth of what Harridan was, or what he did before he showed up to take control of Kairo, seemingly out of nowhere, and only days after the old Head had dissappeared, is still a mystery.

Does the truth really matter? Does it make any difference in our story now? Will it bring comfort to all the charred bodies to know the motive and state of their killer? Will it even change anything?

Such questions cannot be answered. Not here, not now.

Appearance: Despite his stature, initial descriptions of Barke may use words along the lines of “intimidating” or “unapproachable.” His flowing overcoat paired with a striking glare and a kepi cap radiates his mental formidability and authority. Clean shaven, Bakre’s facial features are sharp and defined. From his right ear hangs an earring, with Kimaris’ gifted fang being fashioned as a piece of jewelry. Physically, he’s fit, though is not particularly muscular. Overall, the man’s relatively tiny, though it can be deceiving when compared with the strength he gains from Kimaris.
Serpentine Grace:

Through Bakre’s connection with Kimaris, he is capable of utilizing characteristics and abilities that the serpent possesses. This includes:

Enhanced agility and reflexes, allowing the user to strike and react at remarkable speeds.

Seismic senses for feeling movement and vibrations through the ground.

Infrared vision, allowing Bakre to see living beings that emanate heat. This allows him to have vision in the dark, to a certain extent.

Enhanced strength for constricting, crushing, and striking.

Scales that can materialize in order to provide Bak with natural armor akin to what Kimaris possesses. They are not easily pierced, and provide a barrier to resist both physical trauma and certain offensive magic.

Without a doubt, the two most prominent gifts from Kimaris allow Bakre to change the physiology of his jaws and produce a powerful venom from glands in his mouth. This venom is incredibly deadly when injected into the body, proving to be fatal if left untreated; accordingly, Bak has a resistance to venom. Bakre’s jaws, on the other hand, have a gape much larger than a human’s, with fangs that are used to inject the venom his body creates.

Aspect of the Serpent:

Bak is able to produce an incredibly long serpentine appendage from where his tailbone ends. This limb possesses no eyes, but has a fanged maw that can be utilized to bite and transmit venom to foes, along with constricting and grabbing objects from afar due to the additional range that the limb provides.

Kimaris:
An Eji, and Bakre's lifelong companion. Nursed to health by Bakre when on the brink of death, the two are inseparable. Both of them are deathly loyal towards one another. Bakre has abstained from using any physical equipment due to the presence of Kimaris, as he believes it is essential to rely on one another in order to strengthen their bond.

Singular Name: Eji

Plural Name: Ejin

Tameable: No, in most cases.

Description: Solitary and aggressive, Ejin are serpents of varying colors that are known for being capable of taking down prey larger than themselves thanks to the enfeebling venom that they produce, working in tandem with their strength. Said venom is not deadly, though it leaves prey feeling weakened and drained of stamina. In most cases, they will strike prey while unnoticed and constrict them in order to secure a meal rather than actively chasing down prey items; said constriction of larger prey is due to their sheer size, growing up to 40 feet in length at a maximum. Their mass may lead one to believe that the Ejin aren’t mobile, yet their speed and agility in short bursts are impressive, slithering and striking before prey can react. Reported encounters with Ejin are rare: they remain hidden until they go for the decisive strike, meaning that death is the most common outcome if you encounter one in a natural setting.

They usually can be found both lurking in the trees or at the ground level, only moving when necessary in order to reposition and ambush prey.
A well-spoken, composed man. He’s thoughtful in his actions and uses his head to solve problems, utilizing his intelligence when necessary to bend dire situations to his will. His intense empathy balances out his logical side, as learned through his family and his experience with Egnarions. He cares about them dearly, and would do anything for them, even giving his own life; preserving the Egnarions comes before himself. Accordingly, Bakre’s loyalty is unwavering. If one were to grow close to the man, they’d find he’d never scheme behind their back or let a thought of betrayal cross his mind. Loyalty is an important virtue to Bakre, one that he would never break. In order to maintain authority and stay a step ahead, he worked towards improving his natural proficiency in collecting intel and reading people’s true intentions.

As reserved and initially imposing as his demeanor may be, he remains sociable and open to conversation.
Born in Sha-Mezan to a family of Mezan mages, Bakre’s admiration of the beasts was unwavering from the moment he was born. They prioritized teachings of humility and respect when raising the young boy, solidifying his appreciation and beliefs towards the Egnarions.Their expectations for the boy were irrefutable, yet never served as a source of anxiety or burden; after all, Bakre’s parents only hoped the boy would hold Egnarions dear to his heart. These expectations were not a burden, for they came naturally to the boy. After all, the presence of an Egnarion could be felt during every waking moment of Bakre’s childhood. His parent's bonded Egnarions acted as caregivers and, in the young boy's eyes, were members of the family. This contributed to his obsession with wandering through the Kavilo woods as he aged, aiming to connect with the creatures that roamed through the lush, green expanse.

Egnarions, to Bakre, were pure beings. They were fueled by a desire for survival and, once a bond has been cultivated, would consider you family for the rest of their lives; the deceit, lies, and imperfections that plagued humans were absent in Egnarions. It was no wonder why the boy desired to spend so much time with them; however, one must respect the dangers that the wild possesses. Egnarions aim to survive. Starved or threatened, they will do what they must.

Bakre’s Tiwala, the beginning of a lifetime bond with an Egnarion, was completed when the boy was young. As he turned 13, combing through the Kavilo had been something that Bakre grew accustomed to; however, one particular encounter would be life-changing.

Bakre is attentive. Little details and minor changes in the environment seldom slip by, as his eyes pick out every little detail that the light reflects. As he moved through the shrubbery, something made him stop. A tiny, serpentine form, laying idly in the clearing. It was an Egnarion he had not encountered before, his curiosity spurring him forward. A slow, methodical approach allowed the boy to get a good read of the situation. The Egnarion was malnourished and weak, unconscious as it laid upon its bed of soil. In an act of compassion, the boy carefully lifted the tiny snake, aiming to nurse it back to health. Perhaps its luck was poor, or its mother had abandoned it? Either way, Bakre felt that turning away and ignoring the serpent would be an injustice.

In the time it took to revitalize the snake, the two had become rather fond of one another. There wasn’t a moment they were apart, as the serpent, named Kimaris, idolized the boy as his savior. The Egnarion felt indebted to the boy, and would go on to present a shedded fang as a gift. This would solidify their lifelong bond.

Years later, the two have grown together, now having achieved the head of Mezan together through challenging the Datu in a dance of death. Now, his goals align with preserving the Egnarions that he holds so dearly.

Appearance: Preferring function over fashion, you'd be hard-pressed to find Stheno in anything other than workshop appropriate clothing. Tank tops, overalls and heat-resistant gloves are the staples of her wardrobe and any attempts to get her to change her attire are often met with resistance. Her tail would get in the way, she would argue, and honestly? One has to wonder why she doesn't just take it off.
Abilities:
• Expert Inventor - Stheno is very smart and innovative, creating much of the equipment that she uses on a day-to-day basis. She often relies on her equipment to perform tasks around her workshop.
• Hidden Strength - In spite of what her figure would lead you to believe, Stheno is surprisingly muscular. Capable of lifting heavy objects with relative ease, she can perform manual labor without much exhaustion.
• Dexterous Hands - Light-handed, Stheno is able to do work that requires an delicate touch. Fine detailing is one of her strengths.

Equipment:
• Prehensile Tail - A mechanical tail measuring about two meters in length, capable of manipulating small to medium-sized objects. Operated by a combination of a body harness and her upper-body muscles, Stheno uses it as a sort of assistant for passing her tools or carrying extra materials.
• The Axe - A large, steel axe created with the sole purpose to chop. Despite its size, it is very well-balanced and isn't cumbersome to wield. It's very good at tree-cutting and, presumably, people-cutting.
• Zoom Goggles - A pair of goggles that can zoom quite far away, letting Stheno see things she otherwise could not with high clarity.
• Quiet, reserved and polite when you first meet her.
• Not really the type to start conversations, but wouldn't shy away from it either.
• Passionate in her craft, becomes extremely cheery when confronted with topics she has interest in.
• Always aspires to improve herself, sees failure as an opportunity to become better.
• Can and will ramble on and on once you get her going, and getting her to stop is a bit of a challenge.
• Shameless, off-setting and assertive once she gets comfortable enough with someone.
• Has almost zero awareness of personal space, very touchy-feely around friends and family.

Contrary to the popular belief that she just sprung out of the earth a fully-grown adult, Stheno was born into a relatively normal household. Raised solely by her stern yet gentle father, the little gremlin grew up surrounded by all of the gadgets and gizmos in his workshop. She was dazzled by the intricacies of the machines that littered the environment, and that fascination only continued to grow with time.

Her father indulged in that fascination early on into her childhood and allowed her to help around the shop. Eventually she even started tinkering away in her own time. As Stheno's proficiency grew, so did she grow into her, admittedly, eccentric personality, warding off many potential friends in the process. Not that she really minded as she was far too busy wreaking havoc with a blowtorch. In the end her father had to pull her aside and teach her how to behave like a normal human being.

Beauregard has the ability to heal most non-fatal wounds and lessen the severity of fatal wounds to some extent, allowing people to remain in a stable condition even if still severely injured. Sometimes this spell can only be used to quicken healing over a short period rather than act as an instant heal.

Self-Preservation

Magic he has little to no control over. When he is touched unexpectedly or when stressed, he instinctively conjures light in the area grasped to burn whatever was in contact with him. The light summoned is dependent on how spooked Beauregard is and his available mana.

Abilities
- Favouring to keep some distance in combat whilst avoiding the use of firearms, Beauregard is skilled with polearms.
- He is surprisingly capable with knives, not that he enjoys using them. Prefers using them for survival means rather than combat.
- Beauregard is well versed in first aid and general treatment, comes in handy for when he is lacking mana, when magic isn't needed, or when it more tragically fails him.
- He is sturdier than he looks and less delicate than most people immediately assume.

Born in Ail Lessana, Beauregard and his sister were adopted at a young age by his late parents' closest friend, taking on the Lévesque name and the reputable status that accompanied it. Their futures were essentially written up for them, but where his sister's life remained neat and wrapped with a bow, his was more so a ravaged parcel coming apart at the seams.

If he had followed the plan, perhaps the former could've been said for him too.

Like his father and late parents, he joined the clergy. He kept to himself for the most part and diligently did what was asked of him. Somewhere down the line he began to tread a dangerous line, and one thing led to another and he was being shipped off to Xogora without so much as a goodbye to his sister.

For the most part, he kept to himself there, tagging along on missions when needed and treating the wounded at The Chapter. After a certain incident, Beauregard found himself heavily wounded and abandoned the operation he’d been assigned to. Not long after this a group of caravaners found him and practically adopted him.

The next two years consisted of him travelling with the caravaners, healing them after a mishap, or the folks they encountered on their travels for a cost.
