First Name & Last Name: Rosalie Adelaide Sullivan

Nickname: Rosie, Rose

Age: 16

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Role #: 8

Personality: super down-to-earth and friendly to everyone. extremely empathetic and constantly worries about her friends. has trust issues when it comes to love. Rosie is never angry and most people have never seen her act anything other than happy, bubbly, and kindly. She does not have a mean bone in her body and is generally the peacemaker of every situation. She is very much a mom friend, constantly looking out for everyone around her. Behind the scenes, she is anxious, always worried about the people she cares about and her future. She doesn’t believe in love because she finds it hard to believe anyone could be in love with her, but she’s a romantic at heart.

History: Rosie was born in a middle class suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of Seattle. Her parents both work 9 to 5 corporate jobs and are just about as miserable as it gets. They both are heavy drinkers (she thinks it’s to cope with how unhappy they are in their marriage and life) and are constantly fighting with one another and it sometimes gets physical. Because of this, she and her brother are out of the house as much as they can be. This also is a major reason for Rosie’s trust issues when it comes to love—that and a string of awful ex-boyfriends and flings that made her give up on the idea entirely. When she turned 16, Rosie got an old SUV and loves driving around Seattle and picking up/driving with her friends to get out of the house. Her parents put a lot of pressure on her and her brother to get good grades and participate in extra curricular, so she feels like she has to be perfect most of the time. This pressure and her parent’s constant fighting caused her to turn to alcohol to try to let loose in middle school, but now she only socially drinks and does drugs (though she’d never touch opiates).

Family Members: Tricia Sullivan (Mother), Steven Sullivan (Father), Jeremy Sullivan (Older brother (17)

Friends (Role #'s): #10, #12, #9, #7, #1, #2, #3, #6

Vices: does drugs socially, used to have an alcohol problem in middle school -- would never touch opiates

Likes: coffee and tea, photography, her friends, late night drives, the beach, the mountains, Seattle, painting, poetry, reading, snow

Dislikes: mean people, her parents, being in love, white and milk chocolate, small spaces, arguments, her brother, anxiety, thinking about the future

First Name & Last Name: Piper Bierhals

Age: 17

Role #: 9

History: Piper had always taken care of herself. From a young age she learned how to cook and clean because she knew her mom couldn't be counted on to do it. Her mom is a severe alcoholic, and Piper only just learned that not every family is like hers. When Piper was 4, her father went to prison and when he got out, her and her mom didn't hear from him. He got out 8 years ago. When Piper's dad went to prison it was hard for her mom, without the second income they took on some financial troubles, due to all the stress and anxiety of it all, Pipers mom took to drinking to help ease the burden of taking care of a child on minimum wage. And now it's Piper who has to take care of her mom. It's extremely hard for piper to find and accept love because deep down she knows that her mom will choose the bottle over her, and she thinks it's her fault. She never tried to make friends, she never tried to fit in, she never tried to be normal. She's just. Invisible.

name: August "Auggie" Ward
age: 16
role #: #3, the nice boy
history: Auggie parents' marriage was already on the rocks when he was born. The stress of a new baby seemed to only further exacerbate matters, the two divorcing before Auggie had even reached his first year. The two shared custody for a long while, before August's mom found a new family, and - in his eyes at least - new priorities. He still sees his mother, her new husband, and baby, on occasion, but visits with her aren't enforced to be as regular as when he was young. He doesn't hate them, but he feels weird and out of place anytime he has to stay the dreaded couple of days in their home. His father was mostly Auggie's primary parent, and as a result the two of them are pretty close. An ex-rockstar and now a sound producer, Auggie's father and him have always had a lot in common as he is pretty intent on following in his footsteps. Though the two are close, as August has gotten older his father has begin to again bury himself into his job, into remaking himself a life outside of just being Auggie's dad. He's frequently not home as a result, and so Auggie is rarely at home as well. Empty houses are lonely, after all.
family members: Jacobi Ward (father), Kristine Smith (mother), Steve Smith (step-father. Auggie tends to mockingly call him "sympathetic Steve"), Minnie Smith (2-year-old step-sister)
friends: #1, #2, #4, #6, #7, #8, #10 & #12
vices: Auggie is a social drinker and smoker, mostly following his best friend's lead and the crowds they hang around. He's dipped his toe into the world of opiates, of psychedelics, etc. And having never suffered an averse reaction to anything he's tried recreationally, is always open to more, to new.
likes: skateboarding, most organized sports, writing bad & angsty lyrics/poetry, music, history.
dislikes: white chocolate, conflict, reading sheet music, cooking, pineapple.

First Name & Last Name: Jeremy Alexander Sullivan

Age: 17

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Role #: ?

Personality: At school, Jeremy is a golden retriever, friendly with everyone, very popular, and seems to be good at just about everything. He seems carefree, calm, cool, and collected, but he is constantly worried about his home life and his performance in school and sports. He is protective of the people he cares about, but has basically no temper. Jeremy could make friends with a brick wall. He is very much the dad friend and is selfless to a fault, taking care of all his friends. He finds it hard to wind down and relax though and sometimes can be too serious.

History: Jeremy was born in a middle class suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of Seattle. His parents both work 9 to 5 corporate jobs and are just about as miserable as it gets. They both are heavy drinkers and are constantly fighting with one another and it sometimes gets physical. Though his parents have never laid a hand on Rosie, their father has used Jeremy as a personal punching bag, especially when he tries to protect his mother. Because of this, he and his sister are out of the house as much as they can be. This also is a major reason for Jeremy’s perfectionism and control issues when it comes to his daily life—he always though maybe, just maybe if he was everything a parent could as for in a son, they’d have less issues at home. That’s also a reason Jeremy decided to get into sports, it was a good cover up for any bruises his dad left and paired with good grades, it could be a ticket for him to leave Seattle for scholarships at University. His junior year he became captain of the football team and baseball team and is set to graduate top ten in his class. Jeremy finds it hard to relax and uses alcohol and weed to help, though he never crosses the line for it to become an addiction or get in the way of his grades/sports performance, also swearing to never become like his parents (especially his father). He’s also protective of his sister and sometimes acts like her parent, which annoys her to no end.

Family Members: Tricia Sullivan (Mother), Steven Sullivan (Father), Rosie Sullivan (Younger sister (16)

Friends (Role #'s): Auggie the Nice guy (acquaintances), Casper (Adderall dealer)

Vices: Drinks and smokes socially, takes adderall daily but doesn’t have a prescription

Likes: reading, working out, the beach, cooking, being with friends, traveling, learning new things, chocolate-covered strawberries, validation, concerts

Dislikes: his father, anxiety, being alone, violence, yelling, lack of control

The New Boy:

images.jpeg
Name: Andrew Campbell
Age: 16 years old
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight/heterosexual
Role: The New Boy
History: Andrew has just recently moved to the Seattle area. He originally was born and resided in Sunrise, Florida for his whole life until having uproot and move to Seattle with his whole family. Andrew came from an upper class neighborhood and has now moved to the middle class suburbs of Seattle. At home and his old school, he was always the "rule-follower" type of kid, a "goodie-two-shoes" a bit. He wasn't quite what you'd call a butt kisser or a suck up, but he certainly wasn't so willing to go outside of his comfort zone and break any rules. He has never once touched nor tried a drug before. The drug culture in Seattle is much different from the culture from back home where everyone was an upper class kid and never did anything rebellious or ever seemed to act out. In his old school, Andrew was also one of the star athletes being on the school's baseball team. He was pretty popular and well liked, just pretty shy all the time. Now in a new place, he will have to make new friends and deal with the new crazy drug culture in the Seattle area.
Personality: Andrew is a very polite and kind respectful boy. He's also extremely shy, timid, quiet, and reserved and often keeps to himself. He's not the best with making friends, especially being thrusted into this new school in a whole different state across the country, but he is very likable and will probably be able to make friends easily. He has never tried a drug and probably would be opposed to the idea, but he might be the type to give in to extreme peer pressure and might try it once to fit in with the crowd. He's all around a good kid, just a very shy boy but has a good heart. The challenge for him will be making new friends and fitting into his new environment here in Seattle.
Friends: None yet
Vices: None yet
Likes: Sports (baseball), being outside, sunny days, hanging out with friends (provided he makes any), casual clothing
Dislikes: Peer pressure (but eventually succumbs to it), smoking, the cold, being in trouble, being bullied

(Here's my character sheet. Eh I tried my best. Sorry for the lateness.)
