Gotham

"We can work out some of those details later," Marcel replied. It was the honest truth. How they would function when they masqueraded vintage villains was something they could consider after they stole as much old equipment and paraphernalia as possible. "I can run through a couple scenarios right now, but honestly, it depends on the resources we have. From what I personally saw, I'm not for sure if we can make it out of Amadeus with more than one set of equipment or not," Marcel explained--yet again, an honest truth. The 'delusions of grandeur' that his rantings sounded like earlier were becoming more realistic. It almost made the idea more tantalizing, at least to him. The proposed idea seemed more and more realistic as he thought about it.

The three continued through the streets, aiming towards a central part of Downtown Gotham. Marcel explained to Freddy where they were going: an apartment complex used for business travel. In a shitty neighborhood, premiums were high for security. That part of Gotham was a shitty neighborhood, but due to old reconstruction projects and historical landmarks, it was still a profitable one for the Face of Gotham. It made sense, too. Marcel wasn't renting an apartment; he just broke into one of the secured rooms that hadn't been entered--aside from his break-in and room cleaning--in years. The fact it made sense was fairly reassuring. When things made sense, there was an ease of comfort due to it.

That ease even lead to Freddy providing a more convenient path to the complex. Fewer cameras, shorter distance--no public transport. Drake had been there before, so aside from the altered route, this was nothing new to him.

And, at last, they reached their destination. Normally, Drake could make his way in using the shadows and Marcel could just teleport. This time, that happened to not be an option. Luckily, Marcel was slick enough to break into the Watchtower; he was most definitely slick enough to get into this apartment complex. Their plan was simple. Drake waited for a signal from Marcel while he went in and took control of the security system; all Freddy had to do was wait by the fire escape. Lo and behold, it was less than five minutes before Drake brought Freddy up to the right floor and Marcel escorted them to a room. Marcel didn't disappoint and their teamwork was apparent.

Then came the moment that actually mattered. The moment where Marcel showed Freddy just what kind of force he was dealing with. Marcel opened one of the room vaults and pulled out several old, black bricks that effectively were vintage hard drives. These days, data storage was smaller, more compact and used a 3D grid to store virtual data. The tech came out decades ago and only advanced further. Even solid state drives were outdated due to it. Vintage hard drives like these were the equivalent of floppy discs.

The bulky laptop the drives were opened with was pretty old, too; but, not nearly as apparent. Aside from an outdated operating system, plastic pieces of mass produced junk from name brand companies all looked fairly similar. "This will take a little longer than normal. These old drives don't store as much and take longer to boot, but most people don't even know what they look like at first sight and even fewer would be curious enough to get a SATA 4 interface to open them," Marcel explained. Again, his explanations were valid. His idea of a little while was about two minutes, but right after it, the screen lit up with all sorts of data.

Only eight or so folders were on this drive, but considering there were at least a dozen drives, it made sense. Marcel opened up the second tab on the drive, then brought up a list a profile. Not just any profile. The header on the profile read: TODD, FREDRICK and the rest... the rest was next to everything the League, and more than likely the Bat Family, actually had on Fredrick. "Check it, Freddy. I got in the Watchtower and got out with out with a drive full of as much data as I could. Then, I put it on these, destroyed the original and put them up for safe storage. I've been selling information to finance everything. They're how I knew about Amadeus. They're how I knew about you and Drake," Marcel continued to explain, although at this point it seemed futile to continue on.

Instead, he allowed Freddy full access to the computer and added only one more thing, "This wasn't even a single percent of what they have on file in the Watchtower, gentlemen. What they know up in that steel fortress is... terrifying."

It's...odd seeing all of your hard work being made useless in just a few seconds. Every night Freddy had stayed up meticulously making up believable alibis, every time he'd dressed people up in his costume, or every time he'd forced himself to smile in public despite his numerous wounds, all made useless with one folder. The League knew who he was, but didn't find him to be important enough to do anything about, something that was simultaneously infuriating and a relief.

After inhaling sharply, Freddy punched a wall and took a few moments to calm himself before looking back up at NoOne and Drake, "Well that's just great isn't it? They have all the information needed to take out at least two of us and that's not even a single damn percent of the info on their database. Thank god they don't seem to actually think we're that important at the moment, or else they probably would've just bombed our homes of something by now...."

After finishing his little rant, Freddy remained quiet for just a few more seconds before speaking, "We need to find a more through way of hiding or actions. Because this? This is worrying. I don't know how they get this information, but if we want to make sure they don't figure out we're dressing up as Gotham's old nightmares, we're going to have to be even more careful about letting things slip than I was."

Drake wasn't surprised that they had data on him. He is the son of one of most powerful people in the world after all. He was more surprise that Marcel manged to steal from that huge satellite. ...He's a better thief then I pegged him for... Anyone who can steal from that place is not person to underestimate... Drake thought as Marcel showed Freddy the laptop. "I seen nightmarish creatures every time I enter my shadow, so when you say what they know up their is terrifying, I'm curious to know what type of terrifying you mean." Drake asked Marcel.

Than Drake listen to what Freddy had to say. "You got a point. If they know this much about you and me than well... I guess we are lucky that their worse people out their for them to worry about." Drake said commenting on what Freddy said. "So we need to be careful were change in and out of character... And more importantly this heist for the equipment will have to go absolutely perfect or it could me nothing in the end".

Marcel had a handful of topics he could reply to between the both of them. There was only one he felt took precedence over the others. "What you see when you go into the darkness is inhuman. What is terrifying is that this is human. This is home. Years of data all at the disposal of some keyboard warriors in a floating space station. Every time Freddy made one tiny mistake, it was caught. Check through the records, they became less and less frequent, but it didn't matter. They know his M.O. now--even if they don't know his current identities. I had to track those down myself, but that's not the point... what is terrifying is how much about our lives is stored up there at their disposal," Marcel explained.

"I won't lie to you gents. I have no idea what they do with this information. I have no idea why or even who personally allowed Freddy to run rampant in Gotham this long. What I do know is Freddy is right... we are going to have to go completely under the radar. We will have to use every tactic Freddy has came up with yet alongside some of my own. You may be able to travel through the shadows in a tight squeeze, but we can't," Marcel continued on. He put a larger emphasis on Drake this time, but nonetheless, the point was clear.

Marcel then looked back to Freddy and grinned. He had most of his attention on Drake just a moment ago. "Trust us now, Freddy?"

Freddy looked to the ground for just a few more moments, allowing the room to go silent as he mulled over Marcel's question. Did he trust them? Well...no, in this line of work you couldn't trust anybody, you should always have a contingency plan and then double down and make sure to have a contingency plan for the contingency plan; but whether Freddy trusted the pair or not wasn't the question, not really. The question was, was he willing to take a leap of faith and work with two people with shady backgrounds, plans with a practically non-existent margin of error, and enough power over him to disable him and his image in just a few seconds; the results of their work here however could possibly finally begin to accomplish what the Bat-Family had failed to do for decades, something Freddy himself had struggled to do, and that was finally allow Gotham to heal. It seemed like a simple choice, if he walked out of the building now Freddy would save himself what could be years of living in constant stress and panic as they planned out every tiny detail of their lives just so they could MAYBE not be caught...

But then again, everything he'd done had been for Gotham for the longest time anyways, some more stress wouldn't be any different from what he'd been doing for years already.

"Fine, I'll trust you. You both offer me almost everything Blue Beetle could except you don't seem the type to sit on your asses all day..." Freddy gestured towards the computer, "So then, how as a show of good faith to start things, you send me the data you have, and in return I can attempt to offer a place to stay, and alternate identities you can operate off of when not in costume?"

"I have a large sum of data, Freddy. A large majority of it too dangerous to copy," Marcel immediately replied. Freddy wanted data, but there was plenty. In fact, six terabytes worth of it sitting around them. What data did he want? More so, there was plenty of this data that Marcel had no intention of sharing--not like Freddy would know it was cherry-picked. Marcel had an inclination that Freddy would assume he reserved some information anyway--even if he didn't.

"What do you want specifically? Your file? The Amadeus Complex? I'd offer Drake's, but it's mostly full of pick-up lines and the few times he's scored. Doesn't seem like your read," Marcel went on, making light of the situation. He did add on one explanation, however, "Do keep in mind that I got all of this with a one-shot. It's my only bargaining chip in a world full of super-powered punks and abusive elites in bleeding edge suits. I'll share whatever you need, but the more you take--and especially if any of it is leaked--the weaker I am as an ally and the bigger threat we become."

There was a sense of reality in that. The slight bit of dry humor was hardly a mask for the fact that Marcel, a man by the name of NoOne, had all this information. Aside from ambition, however, it seemed to be all he had.

As NoOne spoke, Freddy slowly shook his head as he took in what the man was saying. After a few moments of silence passed, Freddy once again spoke, "I'll take my file and only my file. We can use it for reference, see what I did that didn't work and what did. Hell, maybe if I had enough time I could somehow find a way to make the League think they had the wrong guy pinned as Red Hood, though that's mostly just wishful thinking. After all, I have allot of motive to be the man under the Hood, probably more than most would...unless I go out and try to start convincing everybody that I'm the ghost of the other guy."

After he finished replying to Marcel, Freddy looked back down for just a few more moments. There seemed to be a moment of silent acceptance of his real situation, acceptance that, despite how much he'd improved over the years, the mistakes he'd made when he was first starting out would always find a way to get back at him despite the fact he might've thought those mistakes were far behind him...

Freddy shook his head though, and turned his head towards Drake,
"So then, what about you? I could try to get you hooked up as well, but you'd take a bit more work than him. I suspect we'd have to work on a few things, mainly how to be a bit more low profile when we're out and about."

Drake listen to Marcel explain how the information was terrify. Drake still thought that if Marcel saw what Drake sees every time he entered his shadow then he may not think they the same way he was now. But Drake could see where he was going with it so he let it slide. So Drake kept listening until Marcel talked about him. "...Your joking right? They don't have list of my pick up lines or a large list of the many women I've been with. So what do they really have on me?" Drake asked when Marcel hopefully joked about the data on Drake.

Drake had his back on the wall as he listened to Freddy as he brought the conversation to him. "I'm not one to really hide my true identity, hell I don't even wear a costume... But if I'm going to be on team I might as well try to hide my identity better. So I'll take you up on your offer and see what happens" Drake said getting off the wall with a smirk. "Keep in mind through that I do know how to keep a low profile, when I want to." Drake added.

All things considered, Freddy took that considerably better than Marcel had expected. Maybe he was easier to reason with than initially considered. Or, maybe, Freddy was committing to this idea more than he let on. There was a tinge of excitement in the notion of taking on the identities of some of the most notorious criminals to ever make face in Gotham. Of course, Drake seemed to take the notion he was tracked about as well as Freddy did, albeit his focus on it was... not quite along the same lines. It was expected, but nonetheless.

"To be frank, Freddy, I don't think you can just make a nearly two decades of history tell a different story. Just like Drake can't erase his shitty pick-up lines. What I think we can agree on is that knowledge is power and the League has far more power than they deserve. What I will also tell you is that there is no file on me. Your cop friend had no real pictures and just hunches on who Drake and I were. If you went to every city I've ever been in or the League databases itself, you'd find that to be a trend. I may not know this city as well as you, but I can teach you how to disappear. I've been teaching Drake how to avoid leaving a trail since I met him in Bludhaven and now... they have no idea we're in Gotham," Marcel explained. He felt Freddy was looking at the situation all wrong. All wrong. There was no point in trying to fix who he was. Same with Drake, but Drake was learning.

Marcel already taught Drake how to find the black markets in towns. When to be serious and how to ask the right question. The world ran on 3M chips that wired money back and forth between virtual accounts. Very few criminals used cash, very few deals were in cash. These 3M chips ruled the world. Those black markets were a place where you could get one, load it up without a trace and transfer money without it ever being caught. Layers and layers of the Dark Web so deep no ISP could ever trace it. It was beyond the League. It was beyond the Bats. It was one of the tools Marcel taught Drake to use, if only for the purposes of having money wherever he went. It could easily become one of the many things he could teach Freddy, if of course Freddy wanted to show them how to run this city.

But, that was a thought for another time.

"Freddy, I'll give your file, some files on the Jokerz, former Arkham inmates and the Amadeus Complex. More importantly, I want to propose an idea. Your name is in the shithole right now. Your face is on every Gotham newspaper. I think it's time Fredrick Todd died. I cast away identities like clothing... maybe you should consider it, too," Marcel commented.

At the same time, he received the laptop back and began unhooking all of the peripheral devices it took to read the hard drives. In this day and age, most things connected with a button press or a quick connect Bluetooth 5.2 connection. The mess it took to read these files was nothing short of annoying. But, it was something for him to do. Something to keep his hands busy. Something to distract the eyes while the mind processed what was going on. Not just for him, but for Freddy, too. It was a lot to harbor the idea of faking his own death--a Federal crime now--to become criminals of a bygone era.

Not many things were able to send Freddy actually reeling, to shock him to the point of not being able to respond, but the words that had left NoOne's mouth were now among some of the only things to do so. It wasn't as if he'd never considered casting aside his identity entirely, but it was a thought he'd always almost immediately cast out of his head. He had family out there, regardless of how estranged they may be, and besides that, he'd always felt a small amount of pride in his name.

Freddy, unlike Drake and many other second generation heroes never knew his father, he doubted the man had even known he existed at times, so his name was the only thing giving him any sort of claim towards the mantle of Red Hood; even though he knew things like that didn't really matter, it was still something that bothered him to an extent.

But still, what NoOne talked about was practical, his identity was compromised and had been for years now, there was proof sitting right in front of him, and if his goal was to make sure he was as efficient as possible, he couldn't do that with a compromised identity.

But still....

"I-I'll think about it, for now just give me the data and I'll give you a real response in about a week." It was honestly the best Freddy could think to do in the situation. A week was not enough time at all to decide if somebody was ready to almost entirely throw away a major part of who they were, but the words had just flowed from his mouth without him thinking much about them.

Something visibly shook Freddy. Marcel saw it. Hell, Drake probably saw it. What was it? Obviously, it had to do with the idea of shedding his identity, but what aspect of it? What was so special about being Fredrick Todd that Freddy couldn't give up the name? What connection was there?

Maybe Marcel overlooked something in the files. Maybe there was more to being a Todd than he knew. Or, maybe, being a Todd was close enough to being part of the Bat Family that Freddy couldn't just let that go. While the latter didn't seem feasible, it was still a possibility.

"Alright, Freddy. I'll get everything to you when I can. I'll start gathering resources to make us all ghosts--regardless of what name you go by, Marcel responded. He was speaking quick. A bit quicker than normal. Marcel played a good game, but when there was a factor in the board he didn't understand, he got a little sloppy. Whatever was making Freddy hang up was that factor.

"Do me a favor. Take Drake with you. Show him how to work the city. I'm going to be in the Underground, so I won't be around much. Drake can also get into here pretty easily, so I'll leave him a list of what to give you tomorrow," Marcel explained. It was a simple request, but it had its purposes. "Besides, now that you know all this, you'll be able to teach him the best ways to get through Gotham and work the streets," Marcel added on, almost trying to justifying his explanation.

Freddy didn't pick up on NoOne's sloppiness, he was in his own thoughts at this point, weighing every single pro and con he could think about over again and again in his head in attempts to come up with some kind of practical reason for him to not give up his identity. He only barely registered what NoOne was saying, and even then he carried out the man's orders slowly, almost like his clothes had been made out of lead. He gestured towards the door and talked to Drake, "Alright, I'll get right on that....Drake, you're with me, I'll show you a few places around the city that might come in handy for you..."

As soon as Drake and him had gone a block without Freddy speaking a single word, Freddy stopped dead in his tracks on the middle of the sidewalk, trying to shove thoughts of his decision away and simply focus on the here and now, though found it incredibly difficult to do. "...I'm sorry, my thoughts aren't were they should be right now. Look, what if I just taught you how to navigate the city for tonight? I can tell you about how to get around the trains and shit and then in a few days I'll give you an actual mini-tour of the city. I would do more but I just can't right now..."

"Hey, they are not shitty, their clever" Drake said annoyed when Marcel called his pickup lines shitty. Drake then continued to listen to their conversation and was surprised Marcel suggested Freddy get rid of his name and fake his death. ...I don't think he realizes how much of a big deal this is... I don't know what NoOne past is like but... Just throwing your name away as well as faking your death... Drake thought before looking over to Freddy and to see his reaction. He was surprised that could think of answer to this important question in a week.

Drake smirked a little when Marcel told Freddy to show him best ways to get through a Gotham. ...What better person to get a tour of town than one of many vigilantes of said town... Drake thought to himself as he as he followed Freddy out of the building. The dead silence was a bit creepy as they walked for a block. Drake was about to say something when Freddy stopped dead in his tracks. "No problem man. NoOne gave a lot to think about. If it was me I wouldn't change my name, but then again that because me and dad are very good terms" Drake said giving a small shrug. "Teach what you want and I'll figure out the rest. I'm a master theif that can go into my shadow. I can make do with what ever you give me" Drake said smirking to himself a little.

Freddy nodded at Drake and exhaled a breath before gesturing for Drake to follow, "Alright then, I'll show you how to use the trains, you can get practically anywhere in the city as long as you know how to use those anyways..." Freddy walked with Drake for a few blocks before eventually coming across a set of stairs that led to an above ground train station, and after a quick jog up the steps, the two reached the top. Freddy took a few heavy breaths through his nose as he walked towards a rather old and withered looking map, gesturing for Drake to come closer.

Freddy pointed towards a red arrow that was a bit hard to see due to the old paper, but if somebody looked closely, they could vaguely make out the words, 'You are here'.
"This station...." Freddy started, gesturing to the rundown and dirty room that lie before them, with turnstiles that seemed somehow even dirtier than the floor, and a booth in the corner where a rather overweight woman in a thin vest that read, 'Gotham Tram', "...is Warrington Avenue, and on this station you can catch the 1, 2 and 7 trains, each train goes on a different track, with local trains like the 1 and 2 stopping at a station every ten or so blocks. Some trains though, like the 7, run on an express track, which means that they stop every three blocks in the nicer areas that tourists love to visit, and attempt to stop as little as possible when heading into the poorer areas in attempt to sell a vision of a fake Gotham. Needless to say that 90% of our work will be done on the local track most likely, considering that the lower levels of Gotham is where I mainly operate, and the lower levels make up 95% of the poorer areas..." Freddy stopped himself before he went on a rant. He had given Drake more information than he needed, mainly because he was just talking to keep his mind off the decision ahead of him and talking was the easiest way to do that. Freddy inhaled deeply once again, breathing in the air that smelled of old cigarette ash and piss as he tried to focus himself again, "Are you following so far?"

Drake followed Freddy to the dirtiest place he has seen in his life a Gotham train station . "The big wigs of this town need to put some money into this place." Drake said as they enter the station. Then Drake listened to Freddy's explanation. "I think I get it so far. the one and two train will be the most useful because they go to more places and seven goes to the better looking places in town. I think I got it?" Drake said give a brief explanation of what he heard.

Freddy nodded at Drake, "Great, now then, if you want to board any train in the city, you'll need one of these..." Freddy walked towards a broken down machine in the middle of the room, with a touch screen that had spider web cracks all over and dents on every side of it. Freddy stood next to the machine for just a moment before kneeling down and hammering his fist into the side of the machine, watching as a small piece of paper floated down in the sliding glass disposal. Sliding the glass open, Freddy picked up the small paper and showed it to Drake, it had the time and date of what seemed to be last week and noted the station they were at, "This, is a ticket. You pay three dollars for one of these, you can get onto to train and get one transfer to another train before you have to buy another. Of course, if one is beat to hell like this one here is, paying usually ends up being optional. One thing you'll notice is that once you start to get to the higher levels of Gotham is that finding one train that goes directly to the most populated areas from the poorer areas becomes oddly difficult, and you find yourself needing to transfer once, twice, three times four times, until you begin to wonder why you didn't just take a cab. Which is why..." Freddy then walked off once more, going towards the booth were the woman in the Gotham Tram vest was still asleep and picking up a dusty pamphlet that was sitting on the counter. He shook off a bit of dust and handed it to Drake, "...you need to study that. It's a map of the Gotham train systems, it has every train line and every stop those trains take on it. There's over 50 trains that go through the city, and you need to be able to memorize the majority of them, figure out the patterns each line has, where they end and begin, and where you can transfer to what. Before you say it, yes that sounds hard, but anybody who's lived in this city for more than two years has had to memorize the lines, so you better start doing it as well..."

Drake watched Freddy punch the ticket machine to get a free ticket. "I know how trains work. It's not rocket science, though knowing how to get free tickets is always nice" Drake said after Freddy hit the machine to get a ticket. Then Drake continued to listen to Freddy's explanation. "Makes sense. As you said they don't want to show off the bad side of Gotham to tourists." Drake commented as they walked over to the booth.

Drake then listened to Freddy explain how important it was to learn the train routes. "In my line of work it always good to have a good escape route. So I'll make sure to study this." Drake said opening the pamphlet as dust bursted out of it. "Any other advice you have to survive in the big city" Drake asked as skimmed through the pamphlet.

Freddy opened his mouth as if he was about to speak but before any words left his mouth, the metaphorical dam in his mind broke and thoughts of his upcoming decision flooded his thoughts! Every pro and con was weighed, everything he'd be giving up, everything he'd gain, the legacy he felt he'd be disrespecting, the amount of work he could do easier, all of it! So instead of awnsering Drake, Freddy put a hand to his head and spoke as his voice shook slightly, showing a small bit of uncertainty that hadnt ever really been present in his voice before, "I-I'm sorry Drake, I can't do this right now, I have just...it's just...God I have allot to think about..." Freddy leaned against the booth and put his head in his hands for a second, staring off blankly into the other side of the dirty train station. For a moment, a very rare moment, there was no sound at all. There were no words spoken, no rattling of train tracks, not even the sound of snoring from the woman in the booth, just complete and total silence... then Freddy chuckled, "I just, I really don't get it. Someone like NoOne discards names and identities like they were pocket lint, it's so easy for him! He talked about it like it was as simple as going down to the corner store and picking up a power strip, like it's nothing! But it's not nothing, and it shouldn't be nothing, it he acts like it is!"

Freddy then looked back up at Drake and something that was like a cross between a sneer and a laugh escaped his throat, "Then, on the exact opposite end of the spectrum there's you...the League had just as, if not more info on you as they did me, and you act like it's nothing! Like it's no different from putting on your shoes in the morning or breathing every second! You act like it's something you're used to, like the situation is no big deal but it is! You should be concerned but you're not, and that's crazy! U-unless I'M the crazy one! It's just- it's just-!" Freddy's face fell back into his hands once more and he took a deep breath, "I thought my life was in control...I thought I'd finally gotten used to this lifestyle and I could just work until no more work needed to be done. But now? Everything that could've gone wrong in the last few weeks have gone wrong, and for the first time in a long time I feel like I have no control over anything... now look at me, sitting in this dirty ass train station and pouring my heart out to a complete stranger..."

Drake had a confused and slightly worried look on his face and Freddy seemed to have small mental crisis. "Who the hell knows what the guy been though. All I know is he loves to hate the bats and is not giving his full story." Drake commented as Freddy went over the rant on Marcel. Then Drake looked even more surprised as Freddy started ranting about how he did understand why Drake acted so cool with the league have some much info on him. "Not like it surprise me that they have it. My father has pretty amazing powers. Controlling shadows, summoning monster, piratical immortally, and more. Why would they not watch the son of him? I'd insulted of they didn't." Drake said smirking a little. And what he said was pretty true, it was something he figured would happen. It happen already so he saw no point in over thinking it.

Then finally Freddy went to last part of his rant and true began going down the rabbit hole. "Look man, no ones life is comepletely in their control. It sucks but hey I don't care in the end. Ya live with the mistakes you made and the mistakes made by others on go from there. So what the league has info on you, they havn't caught you yet so why worry about yet and just be thankful to what ever angel or devil looking out for you" Drake said trying to calm freddy down.
Loony_Bin Loony_Bin

"That's what bothers me the most, why haven't they gone after me?! I'm not insulted, but they've had info on me for so long and haven't done anything with it, and it makes me worried because it means they're probably planning something, or already have a plan! The only chance I have in avoiding whatever contigencies or whatever they have planned for me is ditching my identity, but how do I do that?!"

Freddy let out a deep breath and stared ahead for a few moments, and when he did finally speak again, he spoke as if he was choosing his words carefully, attempting to be very careful about the next words out of his mouth, "Drake, you keep on bringing up your father...wouldn't you feel like you were being disrespectful to his legacy if you dropped your identity? Like, everything he accomplished, everything he did as a person, all thrown away like trash because it didn't benefit you. To throw away a name like that, especially if you have an attachment to it, it feels wrong in a way that's so hard to describe..."

Drake listened Freddy and snickered. "Our parent's legacy are very different." Drake smirking. "My father's is one of powerful gentlemen thief who could take on members of the justice league. Yours was probably some kind of vigilante or something right?" Drake said pause for a second before getting to his point. "The thing that is similar though is that their names is not what their legacy is, it's there comparabilitys and goals. If you change your name its not going to take away the legacy as long as you keep furthering their goals and dreams" Drake finished still smirk.

Freddy looked down at the ground for a few more moments as he listened to what Drake said, and although he was initially upset about his comments about his father being just some kind of vigilante, Freddy thought about what the younger gentleman thief was saying and found it to be true on some level...still though, there was a large part of him that felt terrible about the idea of abandoning his name, and he wasn't sure why. On every logical level Freddy had no reason to keep the name, and Drake was right, he wasn't necessarily disrespecting his father by dropping his name...but still, there was something about the situation that was bothering him...

Freddy shook his head with a sigh, "...Well, I've shown you how the trains work..." Freddy stood up quickly and spoke just as quickly, clearly trying to move the topic along, "So then I guess I'll see you tomorrow then right? Meet right up here again or something, unless you and NoOne have a place you guys want to meet at instead?"

Drake shrugged. "I fine with here. Unless NoOne says otherwise of course." Drake said. "If that's everything for to day then I'll hit up one my recent "score" and have good night. You try to have a good night to" Drake smirking before beginning his walk to his new girlfriend home. He was about to leave the station when he thought of something. "So what are plans tomorrow out of curiosity? More detailed escape routes in town, or maybe learning about who are the players of underground her? Or something else?" Drake said turning around to Freddy to ask. Drake pulled out his phone as he waited for the answer to send a text to his girlfriend,

Freddy simply raised his hand in acknowledgement of Drake's goodbye before he stopped in his tracks completely, turning around to face Drake, "Well first off, NoOne mentioned something about a list of things to give me, so tommorow you get that and meet me back here at 5:00 PM and I'll give you a rundown of the cities biggest players before we head back to Marcel or something. I'm not sure, I'll figure out exactly what we'll do by the time we meet back here, alright? Now go get with whatever poor woman with terrible decision making skills you've picked out for yourself tonight Drake..." With that, Freddy turned back around to the exit on the other side of the station and took the stairs down two at a time. Once at the street level, Freddy looked to his left and his right before putting up his hood and walking home quickly...

Next day...
Drake woke up in the apartment of his most recent lady friend, a nice dark skinned bartender for those wondering. Drake got dressed and left before the stunning women woke up, though he did of course leave a rose... that he of course took from her neighbor.

Drake then headed to Marcel's secret hide way that they were at yesterday. Once he got inside using his shadow he quickly found the list Marcel left. From their he grabbed a data drive Marcel left. Then he read the list more and realized he had to out and get the rest at drop points. "Why didn't he just leave them here? No one else can get in here." Drake said to himself before he went off on his Easter egg hunt for the rest of items.

So at about two pm Drake finally got to the rundown station with bag of goodies for Freddy from Marcel's list in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Drake sipped his coffee as he looked/waited for Freddy. "Seriously why did I have go hunt down paper saying to buy better bread? NoOne needs to learn the purpose of a bloody secret hideout." Drake complained to himself.
