ROLE: First and foremost she's an acrobat – fast and agile, very flexible. She's not at all a bad fighter and over the years she's built up some muscle mass and wouldn't have trouble taking on most people. You need to steal some artifact and there's a lot of deadly traps, narrow corridors and some guards to seduce (read as: knock unconscious)? That's a job for Tommy. Tommy is one of the Walkers most trusted henchmen and a former informant, tasked with dealing with the gang's underlings and those in the Walkers' debt.

STRENGTHS: Flexible, agile, quick reflexes, nimble hands, her natural charm, and silvertongue.
WEAKNESSES: Easily agitated, not at all book smart, reckless, uncultured.

── P E R S O N A

PERSONALITY: Tommy isn't mean, but she isn't a very nice person either. No matter how good friends you are, she won't change her attitude towards you. 'Her attitude' meaning the absolute lack of respect and openness to share all of her unfiltered thoughts. Their comments are meant to be rude only half the time, the other half her bluntness and the way they always talk like they have somewhere more interesting to be makes them sound like a bitch. She's quite sarcastic and witty, but she wouldn't be able to get out of as much trouble unscathed if it wasn't for her natural charm — she's making alternately not-so-nice remarks and flirting with everyone. Tommy is overly confident all the time, which doesn’t change when they're trying to hit on someone. Their lack of tact and manners often makes the people around them feel slightly uncomfortable or embarrassed for them. They never understand it though, there's so many more outrageous things than her putting her legs on the table, chewing loudly or picking her cuticles. Tommy would make a very good politician. Why? They're constantly looking for a way to best others, always working on something, scheming, albeit subtly and in the background. They have the ability to read other people as though they were an open book, carefully filing away details and secrets that are revealed by others in their presence in case they can help Tommy gain an advantage later on or just help them get a few good laughs. She's always aware of the whole of their environment, and uses its details to improvise when in a nasty situation.

Tommy Chandra is the definition of stubborn. She's also a little bit impatient, a whole lot tough, resilient, strong-willed, constantly fighting and bouncing back no matter what they encounter. Doesn't that sound a bit like a nightmare, a bit like a dream come true? She appears confident to everyone else, but easily breaks under pressure — they like to strive for efficiency and perfection and get a little bit too insecure when that doesn't happen. It's never a good idea to reassure or comfort them though! They see themself as someone strong and independent, someone who never needs other people. We all know that's never true. Tommy is a lot like some aggressive dog races — really terrifying and usually mean, but if you're her friend, they're extremely loyal. She can be a good and responsible leader, but would never take that kind of role on willingly.

LIKES:
— Magic tricks, onion rings, acrobatics, black coffee, traveling, felines, late night walks, making fun of people with her friends, jogging, punk rock, shiny things.

DISLIKES:
— Cooking, milkshakes, autumn (it makes them depressed), wearing heels, reading, children, having to listen to someone, getting up early, yellow, official events (work related, theatre, galas, etc.), dogs.

── B A C K S T O R Y

— You know, it's probably nothing personal, but Tommy could never forgive their parents for abandoning her. It's not like her life was hell because of that, but we can all acknowledge that's kinda shitty, right? It would've been a lot worse if not for the travelling circus that picked her up after seeing her dirty, nimble fingers in action (and by action I mean pickpocketing). She was streetsmart, skinny, not too ugly and fast. Seemed like they'd be able to make some kind of profit off of her. They didn't really expect her to have acrobatics in her blood, but it was a welcome surprise. The trapeze and any form of gymnastics were never a challenge for her, especially as she had the advantage of starting very young. The circus couldn't really be compared to a normal family, but Tommy has to admit that it felt like home. When they were younger Pauline would braid their hair and show them cutouts of pretty dresses from magazines, Jase would teach them how to use their fists, mostly because Ime said that as a young, brown girl she had to know how to protect herself, and Ime would teach her the ways of the world, taking on the role of a mother. Tommy had the chance to learn how to read and write, though it took her a long time to master the latter activity. She also wasn't the only child travelling with the circus — Zander was kind of the mascot of the circus, always giving out pamphlets, but also cleaning up after shows. He was three or four years younger than Tommy, but it wasn't ever an issue, the two of them forming a close knit bond. Everything was going pretty much perfectly until That One Show. Tommy was never the superstitious type, so performing on Friday 13th didn't phase her at all, especially since she didn't see the horror or whatever popularised the theory that it's an unlucky day. She'd remember having seen a black cat since she loves all felines, but nothing like that happened. When I tell you that Tommy's circus was big, you better believe me.

It wasn't like that always, but now Tommy was almost eighteen, they've seen the world and their circus was a pretty big deal. They had this huge tent that went with them and it's never failed them before, so it was a great shock when it started making all this noise and wobbling. Jase and Ime knew what was coming and quickly escorted everyone out before they got hurt, but the tent still collapsed. The bang was loud enough to render Tommy hard of hearing. When Jase checked the metal skeleton of the tent, it seemed as if the supports had become completely rusty in less than a day. This whole thing consumed a lot of their money and discouraged a lot of their fans, quite quickly leading to the circus' demise. It wasn't enough to be a whole lifestyle for the crew anymore, if you know what I mean. Jase fell in love with someone outside of the circus, Pauline decided she wanted to become a proper star, Marcus decided he was too old for all of the travelling, some guys got arrested for narcotics possession, Ursa got into some serious debt and was forced to leave the circus. Do you see where I'm going with this? At some point Ime (who wasn't the young and beautiful woman anymore) told Tommy and Zander to fuck off, so they did. Working odd and probably quite demeaning jobs to fill her and Zander's stomachs, Tommy went into adulthood. Staying at different motel every night, they tried to get a decent education to be able to lead a normal life later on. It didn't go great, but finishing a community college in the next few years was enough for Tommy. Zander was doing just as good if not better, having discovered his natural talent for astrophysics. Working an office job wasn't Tommy's ideal scenario and they quickly got bored, but they preferred that over the constant worry of not knowing whether you'll have a warm place to spend the night at.

One night Zander and them were getting some drinks, catching up, when a man dressed in black appeared in the bar, moved around the room waving a gun and suddenly pierced straight through Zander's chest, stopping his heart as collateral damage. All of it was very confusing because for Tommy there was no way people this cruel existed and, come on, their brother in everything but blood was now dead. After getting over the initial shock, she decided that this thing was definitely gang affiliated and couldn't help but do some digging on stuff like that. At some point she stumbled upon the Walker Gang and the fact that they were recruiting. Yeah, she knew hardly anything about all of this, but she figured this was the quickest way to find out what killed her brother and maybe even find a way to avenge him.

In the six years that's passed, Tommy has climbed the ranks in the gang, seated at the top for her past informant work and now tasked with dealing with those below her. Still better than an office job.

ROLE: The youngest son of the Walker family- reluctant hotel clerk and runner of all the jobs his siblings are "too busy" to do for their father. A glorified intern to his own family, Ezra's role is complicated. He loves his family, don't get me wrong, but he's hardly interested in helping run the family business. A college graduate with his head barely above water, itching for the opportunity to get out and really live. Constantly overlooked by his father and babied by his mother, Ezra is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

STRENGTHS: Ezra is extremely disciplined both in thinking and fighting. He has spent countless hours training himself to be better. He is well versed in many different types of martial arts, and remains in really good shape. He is smart and is able to last in a fight longer than you'd think, and he knows how to play dirty. He is a team player, and is extremely good at covering for others or assisting without putting anyone or himself at risk.
WEAKNESSES: Ezra gets tunnel vision. Once he sets a goal in his head, he has trouble seeing anything else. He is also not a very good communicator, showing up when he thinks he is needed, but is not. Stubborn to the core and combative at best, he has a difficult time letting anyone other than his siblings really know him.

── P E R S O N A

PERSONALITY: Ezra is almost everything but pleasant. Born to a detached father and emotionally smothering mother, he gained the personality he carries now at a very young age. Although intelligent, he comes off as a complete hardass and entirely too serious. His tone is usually harsh and gruff, and people other than his family find him hard to be around. He can be absolutely obstinate once he gets an idea in his head, and is ambitious to the point of becoming utterly ruthless and hurting others in his environment. He's a bit of an enigma. He refuses to share any of his personal life with anyone. His walls are high and impenetrable. He doesn’t bother to explain the scar separating his head from his neck, but he makes no effort to hide it either. He exhibits major control and self restraint. Every move he makes carries the weight of calculation. He doesn't talk much. He prefers to listen. He doesn’t smile much at all either, his face seems set in a solemn expression, with a hint of bitterness.

Once his shell is broken by others, they uncover a heart of gold. The old Ezra Walker had been sculpted out of breakable terracotta, but the most beautiful flower makes itself at home inside. He has a very dry and witty sense of humor, and usually bluntly says what everyone is thinking but thinking it better to keep to themselves. He can be hurtful sometimes with his critiques because of how blunt he is, but he only means well. He wants to watch others succeed. He is the man to ask for help. He will bend over backwards for anyone. He still is a very private young man however, keeping most of his backstory and personal dealings to himself. He struggles with feelings of inferiority considering that the only reason he is there is because of his father and the familial expectation to take on the gang work with open arms. He has nothing that separates himself from his siblings, just a stupid amount of grit and ambition. He works himself to the bone to make up for it, and still tries to set a good example for others under hime. He is fiercely protective of his family and friends and is willing to die for them.

LIKES:
— Strawberry milkshakes, 60s/70s psychedelic and folk rock, his mom's cooking, action novels (usually terribly cheesy westerns), and rainy days.

DISLIKES:
— Dishonesty, lazy people, impressionist paintings, hot weather, being called 'kid' despite being a grown adult man.

── B A C K S T O R Y

— At a young age, Ezra learned how to be an adult. Survival of the fittest, he'd tell you. Independence came easy for a fourteen year old with a job. Much of Ezra's childhood is a blur, stuffy dinner parties and always being "too young to understand" his father's business. He was a straight A student, but balancing a part time job after school and his schoolwork really took a toll on his body, and he was sick a lot in his earlier years. His only true outlet was the baseball team, and he enjoyed winning at something for once.

He made it to college on a baseball scholarship, but his career was ruined by a catastrophic shoulder injury during his sophomore year. After, he found himself no longer being able to afford college on his own, and was forced to accept his father's offer to help pay off the rest of his schooling. This came as an embarrassment for Ezra, overshadowed in his achievements once more by his father.

(Forgive me for leaving this SUPER bare-bones, expect me to flesh things out as I communicate with people writing siblings and the like to establish a better family dynamic, this is just the structure I'm going with atm)

Jackie grew up with his father being the brother of Robert Walker and just like his father, Jackie remained taking the shadows everywhere his cousins walked. He was never good at school but was good at beating up the bullies ánd the nerds. Jackie got into the life pretty early and even though his mother despised him for taking any part in it, Jackie was actually useful for once. They said he had a future until his nephew took the opportunity by sniffing it from right under him. Jackie kept trying but always got assigned shitty jobs, when he lost his temper at one specific job, he had been caught and spend two years in jail. The worst part of it all was his dad dying, under suspicious reasonings. Jackie would never tell this to anybody but he had felt safe in prison and he met his kind of people there. His teenager phase filled with pot and other experimental drugs became two years of constantly numbing his feelings.. When he got out of prison, he had definitely changed. Not only his appearance but his mindset as well, he felt abandonded by his uncle but never talked to him about his father´s passing.
Jackie now needed coke to do the jobs he used to do without care. He spent most of his time in strip clubs and secretly wishes he could go back to prison.
