  My name is Nicholas Flamel, alchemist, scholar, magician, and professor. I write you today because it has come to our attention that your aura has been unlocked by some strange phenomena that is sweeping across the world, but don’t worry there are more like you. Right now your hearing is stronger, eyesight clearer, and so much more. So due to this outbreak of awakened Humani, my wife, Perenelle and I have decided to create a school, dedicated to teaching young humans like yourself how to harness and control your awaken abilities. On top of this, you will be able to study the wonders of magic, sorcery, enchantments, and alchemy with the goal of becoming a full fledged magician, sorcerer, Enchanter, or Alchemist.

  Hiya! Thanks for checking this rp out!! So this rp will take place in the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel universe. Somehow the immortal magician Dr. John Dee has cast an ancient spell that has awakened the aura and abilities of many humans all across the world. This ability (once thought to only be available to a select few of Elders) has caused irreparable damage and now the immortal alchemist and his wife must teach these new awakened humans how to control their abilities.
  
  You do not need any knowledge of the book series, magic in this universe is pretty straight forward in the terms of the only thing that limits you is your imagination. Every living being is born with an aura, the electrical field of energy that surrounds all of us every persons aura is different, some have pure colors, some have a combination of colors, all have different scents.
  
  This rp will be majorly sandbox with the occasion of characters having to defend the school which is constantly under attack from John Dee and the Dark Elders. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have whether it be about the Lore or just the rp in general. I don’t have any experience honestly so if there is any interest I’ll be looking for a co-gm to help me get the hang of things.

  Aura- an aura is the energy field that surrounds every living being. Every aura has a color or combination of colors as well as a particular scent, some examples in the books were lavender, vanilla ice cream, snakes, sulfur, and mint
  
  Magic: magic in this universe is simplified by the idea that it is simply imagination given shape and form by your aura. All forms of magic drains the aura and can leave someone physically exhausted if overused.
  
  Elders and Dark Elders: The elders were the race of powerful beings who ruled the earth before and in the early times of the Humani(Humans). They were typically seen as gods and given names like Odin, Hecate, Bastet and Mars Ultor
  
  Next-gen: what is known as the next generation is made up of the children of the Elder race some names are The Morrigan, and the Sphinx. Most Next generation are what’s known to humans as Vampires
  
  Immortals: immortals are humans that have become immortal through elders or by various other means.
  
  Shadow realms: shadow realms are pocket dimensions created by elders that reside on the edges of human civilizations. Flamel Academy exists in a pocket realm created by Hecate called Yggdrasil(no she isn’t dead in this version). Due to the demand of energy it takes to keep a Shadowrealm stable, it drains the power from all technology meaning no technology works in Flamel academy.
  
  Vampire Clans: there are many vampire clans that are rooted in myth all over the world, some are blood suckers, some flesh eaters, and some that feed on the emotions of humans. Vampires are gifted with enhanced speed, strength, reflexes, and stamina.
  
  Torc Clans: the Torc clans are essentially what humans myths deem as the Werebeasts.
  *Torc Allta- Wereboars
  *Torc Madra- Werewolves
  *Torc Tiogar- Weretigers
  *Torc Leon- Werelions
  There are many more but could only find the names for a few so.
  
  Dr.John Dee- an Immortal and power Magican, Necromancer and alchemist who is willing to set fire to cities, plague kingdoms, and raise armies of the dead to hunt and kill Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel in service to his dark elders.
  
  Nicolo Machiavelli- an Immortal and powerful magician who reigns over Paris through his control over the country’s political system and police forces.

  Different schools
  
  Magicians- magicians deal strictly with manipulating and shaping their aura. They can create spheres of auric energy, energy whips, and the experienced magician can even create constructs such as weapons, armor, or mounts. A magicians power is only limited to their imagination.
  
  Symbol: Fox
  House color: Crimson
  
  Sorcerers- Sorcery deals in the manipulation of the primal elements: Air, Water, Earth, Fire, each element having their own subsets that tie in to the other but are still separate in their own ways. A sorcerer who specializes in air magic can create winds cold enough to freeze things, but only a sorcerer the specializes in water magic could manipulate said ice (moving it, melting it or anything else).
  
  Symbol: Dolphin
  House color: Blue
  
  Enchanters: enchanters deal with empowering objects to perform certain spells. They have bracelets that turn into magic ropes, staffs that can create earthquakes and masks that change their entire appearance just to name examples.
  
  Symbol: Chameleon
  House color: green
  
  Alchemist: Alchemist deal in science, potions, turning lead to gold, coal to diamond, the experienced alchemist is able to change the molecular structure of anything they touch.
  
  Symbol: Owl
