This is the Fire Emblem: Twisting Horizons Character Sheets page!

This is where we can post our characters for the RP once you know what Class you want based on what's in the Mechanics/Lore page. So please read that first!

Also, some rules for characters!

1) Please do not use any existing FE characters as face claims. I want all original characters.

2) Please pick a starting class you're happy with because you'll be stuck with it for a while before Reclassing and/or promotion become available.

3) Please do not try to hybridize Classes or the weapons that are allotted to them in the Mechanics Page. The weapons listed are (for the moment) the only options available to the Classes on the list.

-- Sei'rina --

momiji-yaiba-ninjagaidenz.jpg
  • Age: 19
    Height: 5’ 4”
    Weight: 120 lbs

    Class: Shrine Maiden

Personality: Raised in a quiet shrine in the forests of Zaerma, Sei'rina is a soft spoken, proper young woman. Though, admittedly quite sheltered. Deeply rooted in her faith in the Goddess, Sei'rina's life revolves around the concept of silent prayer to Her majesty, wisdom, and guidance. She is deeply thankful in life for anything and everything that comes to her, no matter how small or otherwise mundane it may be, or seem, to others. She's very kind hearted, and strives to be open minded. At least within the boundaries of what she was taught within the shrine. Due to its location deep within the forest, the shrine has seldom ever come into contact with non-Beorc people. As such Sei'rina has not been taught much about them, nor has she actually even seen one before. As such, the other shrine maidens and keepers don't know how she'll respond if and when she encounters one for the first time.

    Quirks:
    *
She speaks directly, yet delicately (i.e. she has no filter, but is always polite about how she says things)
    * She always bows lightly to her peers (20 degree bow), and deeply to her superiors (90 degree bow)
    * She prays alone every day at dawn, noon, and at sunset
    * She prays silently before she begins every meal, and when she finishes
    * When stressed, she sings to calm herself as it makes her feel closer to the Goddess

    Weaknesses:
    *
    Naive
    * Sheltered
    * Gullible
    * Frail
    * Cynophobia (extreme fear of canines/dogs)
    * Gives up easily

Danae Andrius

__giselle_world_flipper__sample-27f4414ca61c1c98681c665fb8f81112.jpg

Age: "A lady of 30 summers"

Starting Class: Spear Fighter

Personality:
Danae styles herself as a gallant knight errant and a bard, favoring a showy demeanor and dramatic gestures. She presents a constant facade of heroism, always taking the initiative to defend the defenseless and aid those in need, but particularly any comely women of any race and age. In that respect, she is caring to those close to her but often puts herself unwittingly at risk, as she tries to rely only on her own abilities. While she has no great regard for the power of great nations or wealthy men, she was not driven to do much about it...until now.

Biography:
The woman known by the name Andrius was the oldest daughter of a minor noble family in the mountains of Lenmea. Her mother was the governor of a small district comprised of little more than thatched villages and gradually depleting mines. It was a posting with all the obligation but none of the prestige, let alone any to trickle down to her children. While Danae had aspirations to travel the world, reading and writing great stories and performing them all, her younger sister Leda devoted herself to scientific studies.

It was on one fateful day that Leda successfully discovered an alchemical formulation that enabled the remaining, formerly unreachable reserves of ore to be reached in the mines, and refined into purer, more durable forms than before. Within a matter of months, the mining district's fortune changed, as mining and refining operations resumed in earnest. Their mother praised Leda for her service, and put the young woman in charge of all the operations that would soon make them wealthy. But for the indolent Danae with her head in the clouds, she had only dismissal.

One night, Danae simply left, spear in hand. Over the next few years, rumors arose of a wandering knight, graceful in form and talented in the arts, who would often appear before those in need. Whether facing ferocious wild beasts, bandits, or unjust authority, the spear of justice would strike and depart just as quickly, but not before sharing her passion with the ladies that came to hand.

It so happened that on a certain evening, Danae found herself in one of the northern border towns of Zaerma, stealing into a house to "serenade" a lovely chambermaid she had met earlier in the day. Alas, it was to no avail. The invasion from Gurein was launched that very night, the sudden attack taking the smaller towns and villages without a siege. Danae was separated from her beloved, who may have perished in the fighting or been...taken away. Wounded in the struggle, Danae fled to preserve her own life, and fell in with the resistance in order to satisfy her wish for justice, and ensure that the innocent fall no further to Gurein's sword.

Name: Varna Husk
Picture:
1650674399510.png
Age: 24 years
Race: Beorc
Height: 6'2" (188 cm)
Weight: 216 lb (98 kg)
Hometown: Lenmea
Voice:

Starting Class: Fighter
Weapon Proficiency: Axe

Critical Quotes:

"Still livin'? Let's cut that thread short."
"Two . . . three . . . FOUR!"
"Head'll roll~!"
"Ya won't need that bit, right?"

Personality:

Dramatic, brash, cheerful, boorish, forthright, and altogether not as elegant in traits as his appearance, Varna is one of those youths seeking immortality in song about his skills. Something in him broke along the way after tasting his first kill of a thief with a hatchet, and he savoured the feeling of cutting through something that gives more than a training dummy. Outside of combat, it may seem that he wants to go back into it, and does not fully understand what it is to have companions, treating them as independents. He will hopefully learn, however, and become more caring towards his fellows.

In addition to treating his fellows as independents, he views all as equals, unique in their own way but falling into normal trends. Nobles tend to be snobby and arrogant toward everyone. Common folk tend to be contemptuous against their own. Being backwater ex-nobility himself, he managed to see many walks of life and found the only way to live is for oneself, shutting others out. After all, he burned down all of his other bridges. What use are bonds?

Biography:

Varna is the second son of a disgraced viscount of Lenmea that was stripped of his noble status shortly after he was born. This has led to a troubled childhood where money used to be plentiful but now became scarce. His father had taken to loans, but soon those funds too grew scarce and he was unable to pay up, with every gem and almost every penny being in someone else's pockets. With that money, however, Varna was able to be schooled as any child should, and groomed to learn much in terms of the modern world, of legends and sources of power, of brilliant minds that outshone the rest of the world sung as great for their time. He wanted to be like those greats and have others build a song about him, and trained in the use of an axe and sword.

When he was seventeen, a thief stole his way into the now dilapidated manor in search of anything of value. Like what was mentioned, they had little of value for gold and jewels, but of paintings, silverware, and pricey tomes that was a different matter altogether. The thief knew what was valuable and took into his possession a number of tomes and silver items, but found himself met with a child holding a hatchet, blocking his exit. The fight did not last long, and the thief fell from a hatchet wound to the neck.

Something broke inside of him that day that family nor anyone else involved could fix. He grew despondent, locking himself away from everyone in his room for a week. When he emerged to take a bath his face was thinner, his eyes more fiery, and his hands wrung, but he had on him a smile. He will have songs sung of him. If this was what tasting first blood is like, it is not that bad, or so he thought.

Remaining years were spent laboring to help pay back his father's mountain of debts. The manse was claimed and squabbled over by loan sharks, and his family was forced to live in a shack, stripped of all of their wealth. He was able to afford enough to give his family lodging and food for a year before he left, a lone note telling what his intentions were. He was going to war, to fend off the attacking King Fae Von Gurein, and maybe create a legacy of his own beyond being a discredited noble's son.

Name: Blair

archer.jpeg

Age: 21
Height: 5'8" (173 cm)
Weight: 141 lb (64 kg)

* Voice:

Starting Class: Archer

Personality: Growing up in the wild Blair value silence and observation like gold. So even if he is out of the loop with everyone else he prefers to be quiet and observe the solution first. Since he seldom interacted with people other than his father, he is very awkward in the conversation especially with new people. But if you go past that phase you will find that Blair is a very honest man who don't know how to lie. He followed the hunter's teaching to respect life and be one with nature. He isn't afraid to kill since taking life is an act of survival but frown upon those who did it just for fun or without proper reason.

Biography: Blair grew up with only a father on the outskirts of the forest in Zearma. He often followed his father to hunt, that's when he learn how to use a bow as well. His home is quite far away from the nearest village resulting in him being ignorant of the world. When the Gurein amy arrived they killed his father making him flee from his home. He wandered aimlessly from place to place and somehow end up in Lenmea.

Picture:
__sword_breaker_original_drawn_by_jun_seojh1029__sample-7999fed4106adda22757e3e8f670e19f.jpg
Age: 20
Height: 5'2
Weight: 103 lbs

Starting Class: Thief

Personality:
Shes a fairly lax person for her line of work. There isn't much that seems to phase her even when in the thick of combat or in the middle of a robbery, but such is the life of a highwayman. While preferring to travel alone Marn isn't bad with others, anyone could find that she doesn't take much if not anything seriously at all when its outside of her work which makes her a relaxing person to be around. That is, if you aren't annoyed that breezy attitude of hers. If you asked her where she comes from, she would be honest and tell you from Gurein, but you'll get little else out of her.

Biography: Marnette was born and raised in a household where loyalty to one's country was the rule of life. Her parents had envisioned great things for Marnette, their little princess, wanting her to become a knight for the country and raising her as such. She was taught how to hold and swing a sword from an early age, taking these lessons as they came along without much thought to it. After all, her parents loved her quite a lot, and she had a close relationship with her brother who was studying to be a mage for the king himself, all in all she had a good childhood.

She took to exploration quickly as she grew up, though for obvious reasons she couldn't leave her home village the forests outside of it were free range for her enjoyment. Being near the border of Gurein helped, as at the time it wasn't quite as occupied as now. And it was there that she made a friend, a Taguel from a much smaller village outside of the border who smilarly enjoyed wandering.

The two were fast friends, with Marn showing off her swordsmanship and her Taguel friend showing off their transformative abilities, the two would often spar with one another in their shared dreams of becoming adventurers and soon enough their dreams intertwining with one another.

This however, came crashing down when her mother noticed that she had come home one day with a few animal scratches over her clothing. Marn didn't get far into her explanation before feeling her stomach start to drop as her mother's face darkened. Her parents went straight to the local guard, of course, and any argument from Marn was quelled by just their faces, the angriest she had ever seen them. Though they hadn't shied away from letting Marn know what they thought about the animals that walked up right in the forest and what would be happening to the pet she had found out there.

The fear and disgust that settled into Marnette had been enough to make her run, run from her home and family as fast as she could, if only so she wouldn't see the fires billowing up from the forest. Though, she never got far enough.

Name: Seth
Picture: Screenshot_20220424-172850_Chrome.jpg

Age: 26
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 220

Starting Class: Mercenary (Greatsword)

Personality: Seth is a generally callous individual. He isn't outright cruel, but, when the job's done you'll often find him preferring solitude rather than reveling with the crew. To the majority of people, just another mercenary who doesn't care about his companions. To those who bother to look beyond the surface will find a man who is broken, haunted by his past failures. His rage, his curt personality, his seeming inability to open up are just coping mechanisms to keep him on his feet. He cares about one thing, and EVERYTHING is to further that goal: Revenge.

Biography: Seth was once a part of a relatively large mercenary company: The Crimson Blades. A Guerin mercenary company of some renown and fame. He was actually a good warrior, second in command to his squad.

He doesn't talk much about it, but anyone with knowledge of worldly events might be able to figure out that he is an Outlaw on the run from the Guerin kingdom. It's unclear how he made it this far west without being detected, but it's clear from just looking at him, that he is harboring an injury, causing him to take risks and start fights he may not be ready for yet. It's clear he has seen combat. But whatever this injury is, it's holding him back, a lot. And he's frustrated about it.

Seth seems desperate to join a mercenary group, or even the official army if they'll have him, in the war against Guerin.

Name: Dansly Rimeholt
Age: 17
Height: 5'5 (1.65m)
Weight: 134 lbs (60kg)

Starting Class: Lancer Dracoknight
Inventory:
Iron Naginata x1
Herb x2
Leather Armor
200 Gold

Personality: Despite his appearance, Dansly is a rather sociable individual. However, it's not just his scarred appearance that might be off putting. His blunt nature of cutting straight to the point is not the easiest to deal with, and he can make a right wreck of conversations. Given the lack of any long standing relationships though, he's yet to feel there's much wrong with simply speaking his mind. Sometimes people just don't get along, and there's no used getting hung up over trying to make friends with everyone.

He also enjoys combat a bit more than your average individual, and doesn't shy away from taking opportunities that crop up. Cooperating with his friend Curga is certainly one of his greatest joys in life, and the young Dragon is certainly always up for a hunt. With Dansly developing his skills with a spear, the pair have been learning how to fight more as a single unit now.
Size reference between Curga and Dansly.

Biography: A child of merchants that were fortunate enough to strike up bargains with the Dragon Laguz and Manaketes calling the mountains home, Dansly was orphaned at a young age by bandits hoping to find greater treasures held by the reclusive races. Even as merchants, they weren't granted access to their secretive cities though and without value beyond the immediate goods on hand? Well the bandits had no reason to keep them around. Before the caravan was slaughtered to a man though, their trading partners arrived at the designated location and turned the tables.

Given the tragedy that had just befallen the Beorc, Dansly was adopted by one of the Manaketes instead of being foisted on one of the few survivors. An older hermit who stayed away from their cities, so as to quell the fuss about bringing an outsider into their havens. The burden of raising a child would be trivial for one who had lived several of their shorter lifespans. In the years under her care, she has also taken on caring for an orphaned wyvern that was the victim of poachers. Its parents might have died protecting their nest, but the commotion raised was enough to attract Dansly's mother to its rescue.

His childhood might have been rather unusual and secluded, but like many, a sense of restlessness pushed Dansly to leave the only place he's called home. With the aid of his constant companion and practically sibling, he's done just that. That an invasion has begun just a few short weeks after he set out is strange timing, but he sees it as a rather fortuitous turn of events. He would have just been aimlessly wandering about otherwise, searching for whatever caught his interest. He may lack a personal stake in the war, but the Guerin forces certainly didn't care enough to not indiscriminately target anyone and everyone that might have been a threat.

Lucille is a warm soul. She is kind and caring to a fault. She goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is cared for, physically as well as emotionally. She has always been something of a den mother to her friends. Lucille is fiery too, also to a fault. She will not stand by and allow others to come to harm, nor does she tolerate bullies. She is a quick woman to action, and often recklessly at that. The circumstances throughout Lucia's life, especially recently, has exacerbated these tendencies. Lucia has difficulty accepting change, especially when it comes to letting things go. She clings to the connections she is able to make, and fights like hell to make sure that there are people around her to care for. More than anything, she is terrified of being alone.

Lucille's personal ambitions are in tandem with her demeanor. She wants for little, interested solely in protecting that which she holds dear. Outside of the small village that she grew up in, Lucille longs for peace in the land, particularly with regard to the many Laguz tribes. She has been friends with them ever since she was a child, and she'll die fighting before she lets the Gurein tear this land apart. Lucille doesn't care much for nations, though so long as they support the cause that she fights for, she will welcome their aid with open arms.

Biography
Lucille grew up in a village of little import on the fringes of Zaerma. It was a simple life, and a pleasant life at that. The daughter of a blacksmith, she became fascinated with ironworking at an early age. Though Lucille had no interest in continuing the family trade, much to her father's chagrin, she did have an affinity for wielding a blade. An uncanny affinity, it turned out. Though it seemed rather juvenile at first, Lucille quickly became one of the finest warriors in the village. Of course, such a claim to fame didn't necessarily amount to much, but it meant the world to Lucille, and so it meant the world to her father too. Second only to her devotion to the sword was her devotion to friendship. Lucille did not shy away from anyone that she met, no matter how intimidating or unseemly they appeared. This included the local Laguz tribes, though this kindness was rare among the Beorc there, and certainly elsewhere as well. Lucille was seen as an eccentric child, even by her father at times, but it made no difference to her. The Laguz were people, just the same as Beorc, and they deserved to be treated as such.

Lucille's dreams did not last. When she had reached late adolescence, Lucille was well on her way to plying her trade elsewhere. After all, in a village as small as hers, there was not much room for her to grow, nor to be fulfilled with her work. Her father understood that, and he did what he could to give her as much opportunity as possible. Not everyone shared that idea, especially for someone who was so lenient to the Laguz. Though the village was small, there was more than a fair share of people among them who thought little and less of the beast tribes that they shared a home with, and even less of those who tolerated this peaceful coexistence. It was only a matter of time before these divisions became heated, and words turned to steel. Lucille had little desire to draw her blade against the people she had grown up with, but she had even less desire in allowing innocents to become harmed simply for being born. Tragically, Lucille's father was one of the casualties that day; worse still, not by ill intent, but by mere happenstance.

Heartbroken, Lucille barely managed to escape the carnage that her father hadn't, and took to the roads. Though she had been given a sharp lesson in how people could come to act, Lucille was no less devoted to her ideals. She struck out as a wandering samaritan, no longer having a home to call her own save among those who worked towards the same things that she did. In the wake of Gurein's aggression, Lucille has answered the call to action, and boldly: what better way is there to ensure peace than to end the divisions between nations?

Branwen Corax
6a442a14c9367356fbc0a5d811df9f0c.jpg

Name: Branwen Corax

Age: 24

Height: 5’8

Weight: 138 lbs

Place of Birth: Gurein

Starting Class: Pegasus Knight

Personality:
Branwen is a true soldier through and through. Disciplined and dedicated, she is devoted to her mission above all else. She is quite strict and can be rather harsh, and isn’t really one for humor. Her overly serious nature and melancholy air gives her a very “doom and gloom” outward demeanor, but very deep down she is cautiously full of hope for the future. While somewhat nihilistic, she has a very noble heart and wants to do what she believes is right, even to her own detriment. She can be trusted to keep calm under pressure and be there to aid her allies in their time of need. Intelligent and well-educated in both things on and off the battlefield, but she has been a bit sheltered and doesn't have much real experience in battle.

She is rather quiet and mostly keeps to herself. She is more than aware that most of the resistance fighters do not trust her, so she has kept her distance and does not hold any of their hostility towards her against them. She struggles with the bad things she has done and been complicit to, and wants the chance to atone. However, she is not one to let others see her inner pain and turmoil, and keeps it bottled up and to herself.

Biography:
Branwen was born into the ranks of nobility of Gurein. Her father was Avelard Corax, a powerful sorcerer and royal advisor—as well as close friend to King Faer Von Gurein. As such, she grew up close to the highest ranks of nobility and the royal family, and was something akin to friends with the crown prince, Leon Su Gurein. Because of this, she would later be a member of the prince’s battalion in the war on Zaerma.

While Branwen lived a fairly happy and comfortable, if somewhat sheltered life in Gurein, tragedy would strike all the same. Little less than a year before Gurein’s invasion of Zaerma, Avelard Corax was brutally murdered by an assassin sent by the royal family of Zaerma. At least, that’s what the official story was. Avelard had been a man beloved by many, known for his kindness as much as he was known for his wisdom, so many were outraged with his sudden violent demise. The sorcerer had also been adamantly outspoken against the idea of going to war with Zaerma, so his death at their hands was seen as particularly insulting, and helped change the minds of many who were previously against the war. King Faer took this to his advantage, using the death of his former friend as further justification and reason to invade the rival kingdom and further gain his people’s favor for his actions.

Though devastated by the loss of her father, Branwen still couldn’t help but feel something about it all was off. The facts didn’t all quite add up, and she had serious doubts about what had really occurred, and was still unsure that war was the correct choice. Despite all of this, she still followed Prince Leon on his path to war, which would be some of her first real experience in battle. She was there for the invasion of the capital, and was witness to the slaughter of the royal family. It was here that all of her remaining resolve crumbled away. She knew in her heart, after laying eyes upon the king and queen, that what they were doing was wrong and unjustifiable, despite what she and every citizen of Gurein was influenced to believe. Branwen had begged and pleaded with Leon to reconsider, to not go through with what he was about to do, and choose the path of peace instead. He did not listen to her. Branwen knew she should have done something to try and stop him, but her courage failed and she did nothing. She was a coward and stood by and watched, terrified, as he ruthlessly cut down every member of Zaerma’s royal family.

While Gurein had secured their victory, Branwen was revolted with what they had done. She could no longer find it in her to be complacent despite her earlier failing of courage, and silently took off into the night and escaped on her pegasus, deserting the Gurein army and leaving behind her home and all those she had loved. She fled south towards the border of Lenmea to track down and assist the rumored resistance group assembling there, hoping to help right her and her country’s wrongs…

Elenora (Elen)

* Voice:
N/A

Starting Class:
Wind Mage

Personality:
Elen is a moderate tempered and mild mannered person. She is not quick to anger, but instead quick to expel her frustrations in work and being proactive. Elen does not know the meaning of a lazy day and often spends her time working on something from dawn until dusk, if not longer. She isn't a big fan of fighting and will often push to find a peaceful resolution first, but if none can be easily found or one side actions are too heinous then she has no problem relying on violence to solve the problem. She has a strong sense of duty and loyalty, finding herself to b as supportive as she can of those she thinks fondly of. While many of her country man have taken up arms in the sake of revenge for what has been lost, Elen try's not to dwell on thoughts of revenge. Ever since the fall of her town she had accepted that her loved ones were either gone or scattered, and she would likely never see them again. While that grief still haunts her when she is alone with her thoughts, she fights now out of a sake for loyalty to her kinsman, the only thing she really has left.

Biography:
Elen was born the oldest child of seven, her parents were farmers who lived on the outside of a small town in eastern Zaerma. Being the oldest child Elen was given the most responsibility out of all her siblings, even more so then her younger brothers that would follow her. Her childhood days were often busy from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed, splitting her time helping her mother with housework and her father with farm work. This constantly busy schedule left her no time to play with other kids and instilled in her a resilience to exhausting work as well as an intelligent mind to come up with the best solutions to problems so she could finish her work faster. Work smarter not harder was what her parents told her, after all the faster she finished one job she could move on to the next.

As she reached her teenage years Elen's siblings except for the two younger ones had grown up enough to help around the house and farm. This meant she for once in her life had more and more free time. She was absolutely lost in what to do with it, so she would spend it going into town and finding what ever odd job she could. One of those jobs was helping an elderly wizard cart there ware's to the next town over. On that trip circumstances arose where the old cart became damaged. Some of the goods spelled from the cart, one of them being a magic tome. Curious as to what it was Elen opened the book and read. Not really thing she followed the instructions and stuck out her hand, a slice of wind following the activation of the spell and slicing through blades of grass. It was because of that accident that the old wizard took her in as a part time apprentice. That meant whenever she had free time she would learn from the wizard instead of taking the odd job.

Elen would spend her teenage years in this back and forth between working at home and being a part time wizard's apprentice. Of course like all things it would come to an end. On her 20th birthday her master gave her one last test and after it's completion she was considered "graduated". It wasn't anything official, just an elderly wizard who had now acknowledged the young woman as a mage in her own right. She also struck out from her parents, no longer living on the farm she decided to enlist in the townguard. Her parents were disappointed that she wouldn't be settling down and starting up the next generation, but they respected their hardworking daughter's choice. Thus things would stay the same for three years. Elen served on the townguard, helped with odd jobs when needed, and practiced her magic. It all would crumble down when the war began.

Initially Elen wasn't worried about the war. She like many others believed that the military would hold the border and all would be well. She realized how foolish she had been when a break away portion of the Gurien army was outside the town gates. What followed wasn't really a battle, it was a slaughter. The poorly trained towngaurd stood no chance against professional soldiers. Elen who fought desperately was dragged away from the burning town, her heart heavy with the knowledge that she had just lost everything. From that point on her group would join up with resistance movement after resistance movement. After each time fewer and fewer of them would be left to flee from battle. Now she has joined up with a new one heading south, hoping this will be the last time she would have to run.

Name:
Albert
Age:
25
Height:
6'0''
Weight:
93 kg
Gurein

Voice:
English
Japanese

Starting Class:
Lance Lord

Personality:
He usually keeps to himself and put people at arm's length mostly due to his secrets, but he is not without emotion. Even if there is a deep-seated rage in his heart and he has a crude and mean exterior, he is actually a deeply caring and kind person. While his words may sound harsh, he just dislikes sugarcoating his words and tries to be as objective as he can. On the battlefield, he tries to remain calm and collected, and tries to see the bigger picture. He seems keenly familiar with the Gurein military's strategy and tactics.

Biography:
Born Siegfried Aquaria, Albert isn't his true name but an alias he keeps while working as a mercenary.

He originally belonged to an influential noble family in Gurein that had a long history within its military. Siegfried was taught military strategy and trained for combat at a young age. He excelled in both and had a promising future, even if he was the second-born son.

He later joined the Gurein military as is his family's custom and easily became one of Gurein's most promising soldiers. He was on his way to building his own reputation as a competent commander and a fearsome warrior, becoming a member of the Crimson Cavalry Unit. He was being groomed by his captain to succeed him, mostly serving as his aide. Everything seemed smooth-sailing until a few years before the Zaerma invasion.

Siegfried's father, Siegmund Aquaria, was adamantly against King Faer Von Gurein's recent policies which steered the country towards war. He was later assassinated by Siegfried's older brother, Sieghart, who greatly supported the king. This was before Avelard Corax's death, and the two events seemed unrelated at the time. His brother was at the same time jealous of Siegfried, and had him framed for the murder. Siegfried was painted as a traitor, and was sent to prison to be silenced. Siegfried's mother used every bit of influence she had left to conspire and fake Siegfried's death in prison. Siegfried later heard news that his mother died of sickness, most likely a cover-up. He had no evidence, and people had no reason to believe him. He fled Gurein and made his way to Zaerma.

Siegfried had nothing left, but vengeance in his heart. It kept him living. He bode his time, and hoped that his chance would come.

He survived doing escort jobs for nobles and merchants, as well as participating in the occasional bandit hunts. He worked as a mercenary while gathering information regarding Gurein. He fought against Gurein during the Zaerma invasion as a sellsword but none of the fights he was in resulted in anything significant. He bounced from battlefield to battlefield, until ultimately Zaerma was defeated.

Many of his mercenary comrades stopped fighting, thinking Zaerma was a lost cause but Albert had other reasons to continue fighting. He heard that a resistance group was forming in Lenmea so he journeyed there, hoping to join up with them.
