In every generation there are sixteen children born with special powers. These children are sent off to a boarding school when they are 14 to learn how to control and use their powers to help bring each season to life.

The King and Queen of the Ourian Kingdom have been close friends with the King and Queen of the Lobelia Kingdom for quite sometime now. So when the two families learned they were expecting, the other was just as ecstatic. When the time came, both Queens gave birth to beautiful baby girls, but to their parent's dismay, the two girls grew up to hate each other.
