Rank: Senior Grey Warden
Class: Rogue
Specialization: Duelist
Armor: Standard Grey Warden Rogue Armor

Weapon(s): Duel Daggers

Nation: Rivain
Personality: While Drunk - Flirtatious, mischievous, and talkative
While Sober (before his first drink) - Somber, serious, quick to anger

Bio: Born Nathan Llewellyn in Neirin, a small village north-east of Dairsmuid, Nathan was a disappointment from the moment he was born. His father had wanted a girl, specifically a mage that he could groom to become the next Seer of Neirin, however not only was Nathan a boy, he never showed any magical talent. With his mother kept busy handling village affairs and spending most of her time miles away at the Dairsmuid Circle, Nathan was left alone with his father most of his life, who abused him relentlessly. Growing up Nathan had planned to join the Qun, admiring the strong Qunari he would see from time to time passing through his village on the way to their settlement past the mountains, but their treatment of mages kept him away.

When he was 17, while running an errand for his father, he came across a group of four Wardens lead by a man name Thale who he convinced to conscript him. The Wardens were on their to the Deep Roads and said if he survived the journey they would make him a Warden. Unfortunately, that never happened, as the Wardens came across a Brood Mother they could not defeat, and Thale screamed for Nathan to retreat. He did and has spent his life regretting it.

Barely making it out of the Deep Roads before starving Nathan was left homeless and with nowhere to go; he couldn't go home. He would never go home. Surviving on Thievery and mercenary work, he finally made it to Thale's destination in Antiva after many grueling months. After hearing his tale, the Wardens there accepted him as a Warden Recruit. He has been among their order now for over eight years. Promoted to the rank of Senior Warden just a year ago, he has recently been tasked with assisting a newly minted Warden Constable in Rivain to research some Darkspawn activity in the area. He is not happy about returning to his home country but knows he was sent for his cultural knowledge and as a translator. He just hopes the group won't have to visit his hometown...

Other: Like many Rivaini, he sports many gold piercings (don’t ask, he’ll show). He also has many scars on his back and on the inside of his forearms which he keeps hidden, and a single tattoo identifying him as a son of a Rivaini Seer on his right shoulder. He can speak Rivaini, Trade, and can communicate well in Qunlat.

Helda the Two-Headed

Name: Helda Meeks
Alias/Nicknames: Coin, Helda the Two-Headed
Age: 25
Race: Dwarf
Gender: Female
Rank: Grey Warden
Class: Warrior
Specialization: Berserker
Armor: Standard Grey Warden Warrior Armor

Weapon(s): A Very Large Hammer
c4bd746868205ea4ebbdddf091876076.jpg
Nation: Anderfels
Personality: Kind, friendly, bubbly, and (to some) annoyingly optimistic.

Bio: Born and raised in the once flourishing port town of Laysh, Helda always heard tales of faraway places and longed to one day travel. Her parents survived by fishing and spent many hours of their lives staring into the Volca Sea for ships that rarely (if ever) came. Not many families lived in Laysh and those that did mostly consisted of surface dwarves, some, like Helda's family, claiming to be ancestors of the Voshai from lands far beyond Thedas.

Helda's family consisted of her parents and 5 older brothers, the second eldest of which left eight years prior after being recruited by the Grey Wardens and never returned. They are a tight-knit family, so their son's disappearance affected them greatly, and having no real prospects for herself, Helda vowed to one day travel to Weisshaupt to seek information on her brother and hopefully become a Warden herself as the Anders people are already very well versed in fighting darkspawn.

When she turned 21 she finally set forth and traveled to Weisshaupt, making her way to the nearest town and then joining a caravan there. On the way, the group was attacked by a group of thieves, and then later on some darkspawn. Helda and a few others singlehandedly kept the large caravan and its good safe from harm; unbeknownst to her one of those assisting was a Warden, and impressed with her fierceness in battle asked if she would be interested in joining the order. She happily agreed.

Once at Weisshaupt Fortress she learned the truth of what it takes to be a Warden, and after some thorough research realized that her brother had not survived the joining. She did, however, and spent the next years working with her fellow Wardens, who nick-named her Coin and called her Helda the Two-Headed, for while she was bubbly and sweet out of battle, her persona in battle was a whole other side of her. Those who met her were always surprised by her bloodthirstiness in combat. Helda did not let the Wardens keep her from her family, and she can be seen often writing letters to them, although it is hard to receive letters back. After spending her whole life in the Anderfels, she has finally been tasked to leave the country and assist the Wardens with a task in Rivain.

Other: Helda is fluent in Anders and Trade. She has a fondness for Rams and often collects items with ram-motifs, such as her hammer and a tiny porcelain ram which she holds dearly. She has a slight gap between her two front teeth that is visible when she smiles (which is almost always.)

Hometown/Nation:
Rivain (Born & Raised)
Jader, Orlais (Stationed there since becoming a warden)
Personality:
Sal, Salvestro, Wolfgang or knife-ear sympathizer.... He's been called by many a name over the years of his life. Wolfgang has become a alias and moniker earned through action and manner of his training and skill set, a man of elven and human blood who doesn't see himself as a man or as a single race of whom he identifies most. Simply he carries a great burden of responsibility with a past that would hint of a inner disgust for humans yet that was long ago, now he has seen not all shall be judged or hated for plenty of good still exists in all races of thedas. But it doesn't change his stoic like manner much. He's a veteran scout with a love and fondness for nature and animals, used to working alone or with wildlife and animals he's befriended as a ranger. It has shaped him just a simple his life before now has shaped him into a strong character with a outer shell that seems thick and distant. He despises those who act cowardly and take advantage of others, hateful and greedy nobles who like politics and standing more then true success as leaders. Relates to the elves both city and Dalish for he has lived amongst both at different times or close to.

Absolutely hates the term knife ear but has learned to use that term against those who'd use it carelessly in his presence or on him shall his elven blood come known or recognized. Tends to remain quiet though as he often has been working alone and not use to much chatter in larger settings of people. Despite all this and his past... He cares and would sacrifice himself for the greater good any time and any where for anyone in need, even if they don't know it yet. He's a wander by heart and blood... A dreamer who fights til the end and sheds no tears of pain easily, Salvestro is a man of noble and strong heart with a good head on his shoulders. But leave no doubt that he has his flaws for no man or woman is perfect and he is no different.
Bio:

Now days he's often called by a moniker esque nickname, Wolfgang. But first long ago he was called Salvestro De Calis or Sal by his father for short while his mother had a more elven term used for her dear son. However while growing up in Rivain and while it was better then other places among the races and mages and such, it did have its moments.

Salvestro lost his father at a young age of seven, leading to his mother taking him with her to return to her clan who'd recently ventured near the outside of town in a near woods. There he was eventually accepted and treated well, taught more of his Dalish ancestry and tongue, learned how to hunt, track and defend the clan. Things were going quite well for him and his mother growing up with the clan... But at the turn of a decade Salvestro desired more and wished a peaceful parting from the clan for a time. Looking to discover more without endangering his clan such as human cities beyond Rivain, caves and forests they dared not dwell near or in for long if at all. He sought a different challenge in life then hunting and roaming the outskirts in forests and back roads.

Being granted well wishes and safe partings in his new travels, Salvestro said goodbye for now to his clan and parted. Since then he'd come across a prejudice he'd never before seen but had heard in other nations, discover hatred beyond his minds comprehension and witness great and tragic things. Eventually his greatest challenge of the time would come when his darkest thoughts delved into hate for humans upon seeing the prejudices towards elves and actions taken by the few who acted upon such hate. He lent his bow to a small village in Orlais that was under attack leading to his heroic stature amongst them and the eye of a warden who witnessed and offered him a place amongst the grey wardens.

Even amongst the Dalish the wardens were well known and respected. Salvestro agreed...... They traveled to places none had seen and lived to tell of, they had a legendary reputation it was a great adventure worth his bow. Salvestro would come to learn after his travel to jader from this very warden of the price he'd pay for undertaking such a mantle of responsibility. Fast forward ten and one half years of service, past many ventures on scouting missions making use of his best skills while seeing all kinds of places he could have ever dreamed. The deep roads, the dwarven empire and its remaining cities, lost to time ruins and castles...... but at great cost. The taint would surely catch up to him one day and between his joining and the present was a love he felt for a beautiful antivan woman that did not belong to him nor was it right for him to approach but her beauty compelled him to give in to temptation, seek out and meet this young woman who'd been promised to another.... A merchant prince with ties to the crows of antivan blood. She was a already engaged but through try and a falling of my love for one another they persisted through obstacles til her death was seen to, likely a order from the merchant to his cell of crows or however it worked as Wolfgang hadn't a clue exactly.

She died for his love and ultimately because he gave in to temptation. He vowed vengeance but was tempered by duty..... A call no warden shall or should deny. Depression, a sinking of his character would set in leading to more scouting ventures into more and more dangerous places and assignments. Perhaps seeking to reunite with a forbidden love now lost? Those who knew best thought as much. Yet he was Wolfgang, a warden with potential who had accomplished more and more as time went by while moving into a senior role within the order of the grey protectors. Now days Wolfgang has received another call this time to the anderfels a nation that Sal seemed to like less then even Orlais. Perhaps it was the scenery? Or the sickening involvement of wardens in the local politics? Either could be true. Since arriving he got a new mission and a promotion to the rank of Warden-Constable of Jader where he was stationed when not out scouting on missions and such.

Now as we speak this warden sets out with others for the nation he perhaps knew the best in his experience and liked.... back home to Rivain. Even with the troubling news it still brought a slight smile when thought of home and chance to maybe see his mother and clan again...
Other:
Strengths:
+ Tracking skills
+ Lethality with a bow or other weapons at hand
+ Strength of will & body
+ Intelligence & Adaptability

+ Occasionally persuasive
+ Great with animals
Flaws:
- Lacks great social/people skills
- Tends to judge quickly unless proven wrong or corrected
- Lacks Leadership experience
- Tends to use witty threats and physical traits with said threats to get his points across to stubborn people, he deems a problem
- Stubborn
- Facial expressions tends to give off a cold and unfeeling impression
- Perhaps appears eager to give his life at times for some unshared and personal reason

Fluent in Dalish, Rivaini, Orlesian, Common/Kings Tongue

Rivaini piercings total: 3 (All located at left ear)

Rivaini/Dalish related tattoos total: 3 ( located at his right shoulder and upper back. A scar connects them) a third tattoo is located above his eye off toward the side.

Hates Eggplant & Mushrooms

Loves history & nature

A common wolf/animal companion of Wolfgangs is called "Strider" by Salvestro. A white and grey wolf with a spot of black on her head that is often never far from Sals side though not always seen. Sal however is always aware of her presence after their shared time together over the past few years leading him to call her fondly by the name of 'Strider'.

Once was deeply in love with a antivan maiden who died under suspicious circumstances that included possible ties to the antivan crows.

Charlotte Kayson

Name: Charlotte Kayson

Age: 23

Race: Elf

Gender: Female

Occupation: Herbalist

Class: Mage

Specialization: Healer

Armor:

1548098367355.png
Weapons:

1548098400130.png
Nationality: Ferelden

Personality: Curious and Persistent. Charlotte is constantly trying to learn new things from magic to herbalism if she owns the book she’s tried everything within its pages. Over, and over and over again. Even after electrocuting herself she won’t stop until she gets it just right. Failure will not stop her from helping those who need to be helped.

Bio: It’s not easy growing up with powers that frighten even the wisest of people. Spending a majority of her life behind closed doors Charlotte learned two things, magic was something to be feared and books can’t teach you everything you need to know. But the Alienage needed more help than they feared the quiet girl who had an affinity for helping people.

The Alienage cat, who ate mice and caught a surprising number of birds had been unintentionally poisoned and unexpectedly cured. It only went up from there, from her father to the elders. After a few years, most of the Alienage was on her side hiding her away when even the hint of Templars came about. But after a while, nothing could be done.

With her arising curious nature and being unwilling to turn anyone in need away. The rumors of heath dispersed passed the Alienage. Every passing day spoke of a Templar raid and the nervousness rose every day it didn’t happen. Until leaving seemed to be the only option. So, with just enough lightning magic to defend herself she set off for Rivain based solely off their own rumors of roaming mages.

Other: Book of Recipes (she doesn’t really need it anymore but it never hurts to have around)

Specialization: Reaver

latest

Hometown or Nation: Korcari Wilds
Personality:
Anya is looking for new purpose. With her old life gone, she’s been trying to fill the void left in her soul by the death of her family and tribe. She is very loyal to the Grey Wardens because she thinks they can give her that purpose to make life worth living, or a worthy death. While in combat, she laughs, roars, and taunts loudly, appearing to be enjoying herself immensely. Out of combat, she is quite and morose. She will occasionally have flashes of humor, but they are hard to trigger. She tends to be direct, not wishing to beat about the bush with things. As she grows closer to people, she becomes very protective of them.
Bio:
Life in the Korcari Wilds is hard and dangerous. Those who live there must be hardy and strong to survive. This was the ethos drilled into Anya from a young age. If she was to survive, she would have to be strong. If she wanted to to keep others safe, she would have to be even stronger. Devoting herself to keeping her tribe safe, Anya took the path of the warrior, like her father had. But sometimes your best is not enough. Anya's tribe was hard pressed from rival tribes, the local wild life, and a recurring Darkspawn problem. Desperate for an edge, the Tribe was an easy marks for a member of the Disciples of Andraste, who promised power in exchange for devotion. While there was some suspicious of the cult, many of the Warriors, Anya included, took them up on the offer of power. Anya never really believed the cult's message, but she paid lip service to get to the Blood Ritual to turn herself into a Reaver.
The change in the tribes fortune was almost immediate. The new Reavers terrorized and butchered their enemies, leading to new prosperity for the tribe. But there were costs. The tribe was expect to do the cults bidding, while the power and pain of the Reaver's path caused the warriors to become increasingly erratic. Anya became increasingly distant to her family, her frightening powers causing the little ones to shrink back from her.
Things came to a head when the Reavers were called away by the cult to defend their interests else where. Anya objected, but was given veiled threats what would happen if she denied the cult's orders. She reluctantly went along. The mission ended up costing many of her fellow Reaver's lives. Worse, their absence left the tribe vulnerable. When the survivors returned, they found their tribe mostly wiped out by the other tribes banding together for revenge. While the other warriors called for retaliation against the offending tribes, Anya blames the cult for pulling them away. She killed one of the disciples before leaving the Wilds behind her.
With what she strove to protect gone, Anya became an aimless wanderer, battle being her only comfort. She rampaged through Ferelden as a bandit, but she was actually looking for a way to die. Not long ago, she sought out the Grey Wardens, begging to be accepted into their ranks. Proving herself in battle and surviving the Joining, Anya was shipped off due to her bandit activity in Ferelden.

Other: Very attached to a neckless made for her by her mother.

Name: Sere
Age: 26
Race: Qunari
Gender: Female

Rank: mercenary
Class: warrior
Specialization: champion

Armor: see pic
Weapons: see pic

Nation: N/A
Personality: sere is a merc through and through, she fights when paid and fights whatever she is paid too. Sere is loyal only to coin if somone makes a better offer than her current employer then she will switch sides. She really dosent care for honor, tradition, or rank and only treats the one paying her with any real honor. Sere views life as shirt so she dosent bother to save any coin or think about tomorrow she lives in the now. When working with others she can come off as rude as she dosent bother to socialize much outside of the tavern. This mostly stems from her dismissal of learning about them as any of them even she could die at any time so why learn names.

Bio: sere is the child of two mercenaries in a larger mercenary group. Her life has bern one of fighting since she was old enough to hold a sword. Sere traveled with her parents and the group all over fighting where ever there were fights to be had. Even now she travels with the mercenary company to Rivain to fight whatever needs killing.
