The war against Corypheus had finally ended, and the Darkspawn was no more. Everything seemed to have gone back to the way it was, the skies were clear, and order had begun to return to the land. The Hero Inquisitor had saved the world. The people celebrated across the map, every night there was a feast, the world filled with dancing and laughter...


On the third night of celebration, an explosion reverberated through the land, killing thousands instantly. A fade rift opened, three times as big as the last. Out of the rift after the chaos of the blight the fade had caused, three 'inquisitors' mysteriously climbed from the rift with little or no memories as they were taken to shelter in Skyhold. Can the four inquisitors rise up against the fade and defeat it once and for all? Is there a traitor among them?

He traveled across the land in search of purpose, deciding that he was going to be the change he wished to see in the world. Maxwell is well known for being a powerful mage from the circle of magi and his reputation for being the hero who was able to end countless bloody disputes while on his long journey to the Inquisition.

Would there be multiple conflicts occurring in the story line or is Corypheus/Veil Rips the "main problem" in this RP? Just wondering since things got stabilized at the DA:I but there were a lot of other bad things just waiting to happen as well...

How canon to Trespasser will this be, politically speaking?


How will we handle the many branches of player choice, especially regarding romanced characters & recruitment of optional party members?


What role will Solas play?


Will Lace finally be willing to talk to Inquisitor or is she going to keep dodging?


Who is Divine & will they be playable? (Big one for me because Leliana is life)


& most importantly...


Can we incorporate the most beloved Flemeth into this?

I actually had more of a "Game of Thrones" idea of multiple conflicts. A sort of "What else could go wrong now?" as all hell breaks loose between darkspawns to veil ripping and possibly a war between nations thrown somewhere in there. Since it's only Corypheus as main baddie as well as lesser "side quest" evils, I'll have to consider more details before committing. Perhaps once the questions @Demense brought up have been addressed I'll have a better idea of whether to join or not :|
 
Demense I'd just like to say first that I'm sorry but I might need a tad more explanation to your first question ('OoO') so my apologies. As for your second question If your asking how I will be organizing the information as we gain members, I've already planned for this. I will be making a post listing spots and etc. that I will edit into the first post. I was thinking about Solas and was considering whether or not the roleplayer who actualy chooses him is able to choose what role he shall play. What do you guys think? I think Lace will at this point choose to finally talk with the inquisition, as for divine Im not quite sure yet( :o ) and as for Flemeth, yes. Yes we can. As the story progresses, bigger events are more likely to happen, such as war and possible assassination, etc.

The Trespasser DLC was Bioware's official post-rift story. If you want to just ignore it that's fine. I'm just concerned with how branched player choice can be. We have to account for choices all the way back to Origins.
 
Oh! yes, my bad! We could incorporate it into the story, it would certainly make it more interesting but I think the events that occur in the DLC should begin to happen a bit later into the roleplay. As for your second question, I think characters will be limited to Inquisition only, mainly because it would likely be a struggle to fill in all the spots for characters from the span of three games and will be harder to connect the characters from previous games into the story of this one. We also need OC's, not just inquisitors and companions/allies from the game. Did that answer your questions? my apologies, My minds a tad fuzzy today (Z_Z)

Isaac is tevinter born, born into Altus parents (his father a magister), yet their names are something Isaac would never consider indulging a person with. Despite being born ‘Tevinter’ Isaac is no longer associated with the Magocracy due to him leaving the imperium at a young age due to his refusal to use his talents against others and his constant questioning of their society. He’s resided in mostly Orlais, hiring himself out as a young companion for travellers. Offering them safety. His reputation for his talents spread quickly, earning him positions within Castles, and working for Arls

For example, I'd suggest for Canon characters to have full name, age, race, fighting style, and sexual orientation. And thank you!

Diet: A finicky eater, she's primarily vegetarian and suspicious of meat she doesn't know was cooked thoroughly. Only drinks wine.


Exercise: She sticks to a rigorous routine when not on the road. She goes through a variety of stretches to keep herself limber, then goes through an agility drill similar to slaloms, and then on a series of hundred meter sprints. She finishes with a different round of stretches and then for a steaming hot bath. When on the road, her routine is often reduced to stretches, two sprints, and a cold dip in some water source.

However, if she's hiding it, she'll appear quite serene, almost euphoric, and begin spouting superficial nonsense about how much she likes you.


Anxious: She'll smile and get a bit quiet. Inside, she'll be thinking of a plan to fix whatever is worrying her.

Biography


(I am not proud of this, and I'll flesh it out more if you would like. I swear I have a good story I just don't have the motivation to write it all down right now.)


Born to rich parents, Ellie never fit in with the other girls. She was an awkward, pimply youth, and quite ugly to look at. While they studied etiquette and flirted with the boys, she sat in her room, alone. One day, however, she found a friend. He was a thief, and broke in to steal her mother's jewels while she was at a ball. In fact, the entire court was at the ball, except Ellie. Pitying her, the older boy befriended her and taught her what he knew, in exchange for trinkets and baubles no one would miss from around the palace. As she learned more, she grew more daring in what she stole to pay for lessons. The nobles began to notice that more and more expensive trinkets were going missing, but Ellie remained unsuspected. However, her friend was eventually discovered, and given a harsh sentence involving manual labor, far away from Ellie. She asked her parents, and they told her so. She believed them. Friendless again, Ellie was miserable for a time. But years had passed and she had grown into a sweet and elegant lady, and this time around people accepted her more readily. But Ellie continued to flex her thieving muscles, picking up baubles and trading them for lessons with contacts she had made during her previous education. These focused on the agile art of streetfighting, and mostly consisted of them barreling at her while yelling "don't get hit!" Eventually, she learned how not to get hit. She became a proficient knife fighter, and learned the cardinal rule of the streets: don't kill. Killing was considered a horrible thing to do, and should only be done in extreme self-defense. She was happy this way, leading a double life. But one day, while sneaking around stealing, she discovered a terrible secret. Her parents had learned about her tutor, and had him hanged by pulling strings and using their influence. She forsook her name then, and left in the dead of night with enough stolen goods on a stolen horse to bring her to where she needed to be. Here.
