Following their induction, the cadets at AICA began their training and studies. After a month of physical conditioning and lectures on the Mobius. A welcoming party brokered by Felix Luminov, financed by the talkative but generous Saimos rui Kelserin and supplied with Durthai Negyv's homemade treats, saw the closing of the youngsters' entertainment phase, as they prepared themselves for their first official flight. Bonded, or at least acquainted with one another during the small congregation of varied individuals, the cadets found themselves opening up gradually to one another.

CHAPTER 1.2: FOREVER YOUNG
Wary of the impending graduation day for the cadets, Dr. Loxley made every effort to bring her case to the Ministry of Defense, but to no avail. Despite the cadets' outstanding infantry scores and academic performance, the Head of AICA could not prolong their training process. Plagued by failures of the past, she has shut herself in for the past few days, pressing her notes and data in search for a way to optimize the augmentation phase.
Meanwhile, the cadets are lined up for their first flight in a MOPIT. The crucible for which they have braved in the mountains of Yrdena, navigation courses, weapons training and unit cohesion lessons led by Major Pakston have kept them close and furthered refined their survival skills. On the other hand, Major Muirse's alchemy, magic proficiency, and Mobius-related aero-mechanized courses expanded on the arsenal of knowledge that would serve them well in various situations.
Today, Her Imperial Majesty addressed the nation: "Citizens and denizens. Masters and Commanders. My regarded greetings.
Yesterday, Velika was unexpectedly and deliberately attacked by the United Kingdoms of Sorento. From across the stars they sailed, bringing death and destruction. The tragedy that befell our sacred cradle, our home, will not be forgotten. What is demanded in blood, must be paid in blood. We will answer their force with our determination. Legionnaires, sailors, and starriders, I ask only for your commitment, for victories can only be achieved by the instincts in your guts and the blood on your boots.
Those of you who are lucky enough to get home by furlough, hold your loved ones dearly and join them in prayers for peace in the galaxy and goodwill towards all. And then report back here, ready to sail across the Precursor's vast garden of stars - where we will meet our enemy and kill them all.

In commemoration for their service and bravery, a ceremony was held for AICA graduates for their exemplary bravery during the Battle for Velika in the Central District. ARLA officers are now cooperating with the ground forces to organize the rebuilding of the capital planet following the complete withdrawal of Sorentine forces from the system.
In other news, the 9th Fleet has been recalled to the capital city, in preparations for their next operation. With rumors circulating the galaxy in regards to the Farbanian response to the attack on Velika, the illustrious Admiral Deslain Altyr Dargais commented on our situation in a brief interview:
Admiral Dargais: "This was not the first time the intelligence community failed us. At least now, millions of staretts away from the frontline, we are reminded of our enemy's capabilities - lest we forget."
Reporter: "Admiral. Is it true that the Ninth Fleet is rearming for a counter-offensive?"
Admiral Dargais: "I can neither confirm nor deny anything at this moment without the Director's approval. If you want answers, you need only look to the starports. If you will excuse me, there is a meeting I must attend to. Fair gales."

By the combined efforts of the fresh MOBIUS graduates from AICA, Velika was spared from further destruction - at a price. Lieutenant Kelserin and Negyv were killed in action, with Lieutenant Kairnseval and Svargai wounded. Saber Squadron was put out of commission by the Oprichnik Squadron within an hour of intense fighting.
Having bought time for their comrades, they held their grounds until the arrival of the Empress's Blade, whose sacrifice turned the tide of battle. The Battle for Velika eventually ended in the complete withdrawal of Sorentine Surface Attack Group.
Meanwhile, Major Pakston's retrieval of the mana drive in confidence furthered Director Loxley's personal initiatives - giving rise to the reassignment of the AICA graduates. With the mana drive as leverage, the Director was able to press for extensive funding of AICA.

CHAPTER 3.1: S.A.G.E
Two weeks after the Battle for Velika, AICA graduates were transferred to the Neuhabe Starport, where they reported to their new commander - Admiral Dargais of the 9th Fleet. Having proven their capabilities in the field, the graduates were rotated out with the survivors of the first-generation of MOBIUS pilots. While little is known about their predecessors, they were quickly shunned by the older pilots. With little information of what to expect from the experienced breed of star-riding veterans, the AICA graduates was received by the crew of the Krazow-class capital carrier, Silver Tenet. This would be their new home for the forseeable future.
Given full disclosure of their new purpose as a strike force for an upcoming operation across the galaxy, the graduates were kept in port, where they would spend the next few days resting, while being under constant surveillance by the dogged sailors of the carrier. With it, came the birth of S.A.G.E (Strategic Assault Group Echelon), composed of second-generation AICA pilots that survived the Battle of Velika. The Echelon's purpose, as briefed by the Admiral, was to become the vanguard of decisive breakthroughs and destruction of high-value targets. As an independent Carrier Attack Group, the 9th Fleet would operate alone, far from friendly lines. Having seen the MOBIUS's capabilities firsthand from the first generation of pilots, Admiral Dargais met with Doctor Loxley to formulate a plan to fully realize the MOBIUS's potentials in the field.
