The one who made Aerth
All the world knows of dragons, even a small Dragon is considered powerful and dangerous. Many dragons of different kind exist and it is believed by many that ancient Dragons created the world in which we live.
From the frozen wastes to the tropical beaches, the volcanos and magma, the water the ground and the skies above...
Religion of all forms on the world of Aerth has history and practices of worshiping dragons like gods.
More importantly... in the lands of Drawin the four territories are ruled by the Dragon King,
A human able to transform into a dragon.
The Dragon throne sits ontop of the world, true to many in Aerth... Ever since the age of the first Dragon king a member of Leot Flamehart's bloodline has become ruler of the known world. Not all equal in power wisdom or strength but all able to become a massive flying beast of legend. Needless to say Dragon worship is allowed by the king and donations of money and resources are often collected from churches plus the people of Drawin and further.
The dragon kings reach is extraordinary, with each generation of mixed blood it became easier to sire potential heirs to the throne. The current Dragon king is Sarnett Hart, his twenty five children were each given the task of capturing foriegn land which they proceeded to do.
With the power of becoming a dragon and the armies of Drawin the heirs loyal to their father easily captured territory and got a taste of being a ruler of sorts.
This is how your character came to know of the royal Harts, children of the Dragon king.
As a child or before your parents even met, A Dragon arrived in your country and it quickly became someone else's land.
It may not have happened overnight or quickly. But countless lives have been lost learning It was easier to submit rather than defy dragons with armies. Many submit, but enough had the spark of defiance to make a difference. What started as a cult known as the Burnt blades eventually became the Shadows, a society controlling a vast criminal network with ties across most of Aerth taking or making a profit every where.
From the shadows even a pack of animals can bring down a monster, us to can bring down the Dragons.
Their leaders name lost to time, but forever remembered as "the man who became shadows" from meeting the formless soul of a demon named Hades.
A deal was struck, with the Shadowman Taking knowledge and power aswell as the flaming darkness that was Hades.
Shadow man received everything he could hope for at the cost of his own body and soul. The shadow man was now able to fight equally with dragons and he taught seven mortals the knowledge he had learned...
Five of these people formed the Assassins guild known as the Shadow Wolves.
(Should you choose to play you would be making a character recently recruited to this guild)
From the shadows we shall hunt be it a person or a dragon.
Royalty and rulers alike shall fear me, fear us, just as any fear a crowd of hungry monsters.
Be it Person or Dragon none shall escape justice owed, be it one scorned or the countless dead.
I pledge my heart to the life of a dark hunter, I wish to fight and die as a dark beast feared by all.
A oath you and a few others recently took.
"Welcome to the Shadow wolves, as one of our recruits we have a gift for you should you wish to take it and truly become one of us. You only need to consume one of the rare delicacies in the next room."
"Consume what?" Your character or someone else asked in some fashion
"The heart of a baby dragon, the very monsters we pledge to hunt. Eating it shall empower your mana and strength should you survive the process. You shall gain magic comparative to a dragon and golden eyes that show what you have done."
A some large bloody hearts awaited in the next room as stated by the creepy lady. Who continues with the potential gift info
"the eyes of a Demon, monsters that give power as easily as they take and control life. Eating it shall allow you to shift your physical form and turn your mana demonic should you not turn to a mindless beast. You shall gain powerful magic and the form to harm dragons but you shall forever be known as a demon by the black horns on your head."
A bowl of red balls with black pupils almost looking like grapes but much more gross and evil. The lady presses forward with her offer...
"the blood of Nightspawn, creatures from another realm. You may have fought one before in the dead of night and seen it evaporate into nothing. It is hard to collect but drinking this blood will allow you to open the void, to travel in the void is much like a form of warp magic, however the chance of being blind forever comes from this."
Literal black goop said to be nightspawn blood but you cannot recall anyone seeing said monsters bleed...
Should you partake of a gift or not you are now a member of the Shadow wolves, your first task as a assassin is being sent to kill people who serve the Dragon throne and help the underbelly who serve the shadows in that territory maintain order.
Hopefully you find and murder a dragon heir to prove your undeniable skill or else it's diligently working at a number of neccesary tasks leading to etc etc.

It's a medieval fantasy with magic, monsters and a plot to murder the king of kings. Work your way up as a new recruit to living legend of the criminal underworld whose reputation is known and feared throughout the kingdoms.
Willing to start the rp when I have two acceptable sheets.
Post requirements is two paragraphs or more once or twice a week depending on player count.
Will answer the question of dark magic on the cs page but basically summed up,
Eating a dragon heart makes your characters mana aspects of dragon magic, fire becomes Dragonfire which is stronger and better etc
Some have grown ethereal wings, claws or a tail, others gain the magic of the Dragon heart they ate.
Eating demon eyes basically makes you a shape shifter of tremoundus potential or it makes your magic demonic which can be on par with a dragon. Sometimes you get both traits, but the shifting would be limited in comparison.
Drinking Nightspawn blood basically makes one a teleporter by traveling a realm most living beings cannot perceive.
While it works as instant teleportation it would still involve your character running about in a different dimension before popping out hopefully where they want to be.
Note your character doesn't need to eat monsters to be able to slay a dragon, though it makes the process much easier.
