Everything in Japan was fine and well. Everyone had friends, they were all well fed, and everyone loved the emperor. The emperor was happy and well, and loved his subjects. It was a real shock when news of the emperor's death spread like ill fire. Who was the cause of this unfortunate event? No one knows. If someone intended to assassinate him, why? He was such a great emperor that everyone was fond of. His son ended up taking over the emperor's title, promising he would be a much better emperor than his father.

The four clans decided to find why, and who killed the kind emperor, since he did not deserve to taste death at a young age. The clans sent out one person from each clan to work together to uncover the mystery, and possibly save the riot and discord going around in Japan.

This has happened once in forever... the four clans working together. They usually lash out at each other and create wars.

What are the four clans? Oh. Simple.
