Well, the easy thing to have your character be would be a teammate from Leons’ crew who offered to help.

But if you don’t wanna do that, you could have them be a resident of Walters’ castle, or you could have them be something not related at all, like a werewolf in the woods or something. Or you could go with one of the canon characters if you can’t think of anything, your choice. I’m just giving you options.
