Fantasy "Can you Hear my voice...? Your world is in Peril."

The Blind Twins.
Hey all, I've had a strange idea for a good 1x1 I'd like to try to do, but it's got a set plotline - though, how we go about completing that will alter the storyline and abilities that the characters can learn! So, without further ado, Lemme introduce Tales from the Mabinogion; Episode 1: The Goddess' Advent.

You awaken with a start. Visions of a winged being flashing through your mind like lightning along with small cries for help - just barely audible in the depths of your sleep addled brain. Yet, despite the confusion jumble of sights and sounds from within your dream, you clearly remember one image. A statue. Not just any Statue, a statue that can only be found in the strange ruins up to the north of your little village. A statue depicting the Goddess Morrighan, down on one knee, sword clasped between her hands and head bowed in prayer as she silently defends your town from the darkness of the fomors.

Trying to shake it off, you go about your day - doing some daily chores for the Church of Endelyon - gathering chicken eggs, scaring off foxes, making a few deliveries for the local baker. Normal villager things that you do any other day...but something seems...different about today. You can't quite put your finger on it, but there's something off. You've lived here your entire life, but suddenly, you realize...you don't remember your childhood. What you did as a youth, where you lived...nothing. Your first memory was starting a day just like this, with an owl dropping off a small note and a loaf of bread. The note, you recall, was a letter of introduction from someone named Nao - someone who knew a great deal about you and had the Village chief, Duncan, as it's recipient. You delivered the letter and carried on your day helping out the local villagers...as you've done every day since.

But, something isn't right about today, why think about all this now...? Why is the vision of the Goddess' statue still fresh in your mind? Why is the head guard, Trefor, beckoning you over and talking about learning to use a weapon? There's something very, very wrong today...and little did you know, it's only the start of a journey for you - and one other villager that would determine the fate of not one, but two worlds.
