Welcome to Queens Hero High!
Backstory:
Queens Hero High was an RPNation RP active between February and November 2018, featuring 10+ active players and an active Discord community; its activities came to a sudden end as I was forced to apply a break due to IRL issues. However, this untimely demise left many in the playerbase still looking for some more Boku no Hero RP action. As I return from my forced break, I'm determined to restore this school to its former glory and take it even further - and to reach that goal, I need your help! Come be a part of our family and join our expansive hero school universe with your character, be them a hero, a villain or something in between.

Welcome To Queens Hero High! Our motto: Ad Astra!
This revived RP will revolve around Queens Hero High, a quirk school set in Brooklyn, NY that's amongst the most prestigious in the country and the whole world. QHH, as it's usually called, counts with extensive facilities, a large pool of students, complete staff and a threatening rogues gallery. You have your character join as a transfer student and learn the ropes from our returning characters and players as they work hard into shaping themselves up as heroes. As you go along, however, you may realize that there's a lot more to this prestigious school than meets the eye. There are quite a lot of secrets hidden in the school's past, and as a student you'll be provided with player-specific clues that can be exchanged and discussed with other players to piece together the complete story.
But even with our community, perhaps you'd rather start with something new, in equal footing with everyone. In that case, you'll definitely want to check out Willow Creek Academy:

Willow Creek Academy "for heroes" is one of the lowest ranking schools as well as one of the cheapest. Housing rejects and pariahs of all kinds, it is in truth an academy meant to train and form villains. Here you'll have contact with some of the vilest and most dangerous members of society to develop into true threats for our heroes. Be it as a career villain or just a student in the wrong place, Willow Creek Academy is definitely a strong bet for doing a fresh start.
Structure and administration:
This RP will be run by myself, Capt_Deuce, as it has always been. However, this time along I'll be counting with a strong and active mod team composed of
Kimona
,
Haz.
and
Webs Elk
; they have full control over the RP and will be always on the ready to help you join our community and help you with whatever issues or questions you have.
While the entirety of this RP will be written on RPNation, we strongly encourage you to join our community on Discord; through there you can get to meet the other players, talk characters, plans and events or just hang out and talk.
The RP will feature 2 main threads, one to handle QHH and one to handle Willow Creek Academy. However, the stories of both schools will interlock all the time, in which case we'll narrow down the action to a single thread. You can make more than one character and even participate on both threads if you want; in fact, many of us do that here.
As for overall rules of the RP, they are as follows:
- Any active player may introduce ideas, lore and plot, but please state your intent and basic idea here at least 12 hours earlier so people may discuss it.
- NPC's can be designed by anyone, even if you aren't currently playing. I'll pick the most suitable ones and fill up the rest of the spots if needed. Any player may put in and control said NPCs, but please be reasonable; if said NPC is a teacher, don't make him or her skip class to go on a date with your character, for example.
- This should go without saying, but all threads and Discord will abide to the common RPNation rules, so no erotic stuff, no godmode, be nice to people when OOC, etc.
- The time limit for posting when it is your turn is 9 days, but let's try to keep it well under that. If you exceed this time without warning, your character will become a NPC until you show up again.
- Our golden rule of character creation is: never create a character that can do everything else another character can do and then some. The only exception to this rule is the owner of the lesser character expressly agrees with this situation.
- Lastly, you are free to question or suggest any rules for the RP, either here or by PM. if the majority agrees with your idea, I'll have no problem changing it up.
Perks bonuses of joining the RP:
Being part of an ever-growing BNH universe, Queens Hero High and Willow Creek Academy are not alone in their journey to shape the young in a world overtaken by quirks, superheroes and villains. By taking part in this RP, you'll be treated every now and then with crossover with other Boku no Hero-themed RPs, such as students from Kimona's Angelwood Academy and Ethan and Kyouma's New York Academy for heroes! Such crossovers will both be handled on our main threads as well, with all the players sharing the same Discord server so we can plan and interact whenever.
In total, we are talking about 4 different schools and a myriad of students in each. Are you ready to prove that your school is the best?
