So far, Lucy had been going to Maxwell Heights High for about a month or so. Being the new girl was hard enough, but being the new girl when you were actually a witch who'd just gotten torn away from her family sucked ten thousand times worse. She missed her siblings terribly, but knew that she couldn't even call them. They were human, after all. Every single one of them. Lucy had been the unlucky one to get the magic gene. The magic had chosen her. She knew that she should be grateful, but thinking of her younger siblings, wanting to know where she'd gone just broke her heart and made her wish she'd never been chosen at all.

But of course, no one knew about these thoughts in her mind. It wasn't as though she were best friends with the other 3 witches in this school. They knew each other, thanks to being introduced by an elder when they'd all arrived, but none of them really knew the other. They had to keep quiet about their powers, or else it'd just be time to pack up and move again. Not only that, but they'd be putting mortals at risk if they did anything reckless, and if something happened to an innocent-- Lucy would never forgive herself.

Lucy, with her history of caretaking, had taken it upon herself to locate each of the other witches within the last week and ask that they meet her today after school. She was hoping they'd show, and she knew she'd be thinking about it all day. It wasn't a huge deal; she just thought it might do them some good to be... well, united. At least on the same page. One could argue that they already were, but in reality, were they? What if something happened, and an elder wasn't around? What if they'd been tracked here anyway, and one or all of them got backed into a corner?

Lucy always thought the worst, but that helped her be prepared for it.

With a sigh, she started into the school, heading for the smaller auditorium. It was usually vacant, and today was no exception. She pulled herself up onto the stage and set her bookbag beside her, unable to stop herself from thinking what it would be like to be under those stage lights. Performing was her dream, but it was a dream that she'd never be able to achieve; not if they were supposed to 'lie low'. And even before coming here, she'd always been too busy taking care of her family to do much for herself.

Unzipping her bookbag, she tugged out her chemistry book and opened it to the flagged page. Last nights homework. Already done, but it wouldn't hurt to double check. Swinging her legs back and forth off the stage, she checked her answers against what the book said while she waited for the first warning bell.

The poor soul she bumped into

Sexy Autumn
This day was already cursed. It was the worst day of her life already. No, the worst day was when her dad got her that ugly magneta Mercedes on her sweet 16 instead of the hot pink Porsche she had asked for. She rolled her eyes just thinking about it. However today was gonna be a close second on worst days of her life. First of all, her nail had caught on her shirt and destroyed it. So she had to change her outfit idea and she literally had nothing else to wear. Nothing new at least. And she was not gonna go to school with a recycled outfit. That was just not done! Yet eventually Darleyn van Almend had found something that was up to her taste. She turned a bit in front of her mirror before snapping a picture. She quickly uploaded it onto her instagram account. #SexyAutumn #ReadyForSchool #StepAsideLosers. Some expensive brandnames followed and she put the phone away in her purse.

Once downstairs there was a second set back for the young princess. "No, Gregory. I am not going to school in that car," she said. Her eyes were shooting fire at the middle ages male. "I understand, lady van Almend, but-" "You understand?" Her voice hitched. "If you understood, Gregory, you wouldn't even dare to act like it was an option. That blue mercedes does not at all fit with my clothes! How dare you to even act like this was an acceptable option?!" The older male kept his gaze down as he let the young teenaged woman cuss him out like he was the dumbest person alive. It wasn't really anything new. "I am sorry, miss van Almend, but it is the only car we have available. The black car is currently being driven towards the mechanics for the check up," he calmly explained. Yet the young lady was having none of it. "Then you better make it turn around and call the mechanics it is coming an hour later, because I am not gonna go to school in this horrendous car," she simply said.

And so it was done. "Thank you, Richard," she spoke with a sugarsweet tone. The car door of the black Mercedes were opened for her as she stepped out. Even though it was getting a normal occurance at Maxwell Heights High still people stopped to stare every time. It brought a smile to her face as she took her shoulderbag from the driver. It was just big enough for the books she need for the first two classes. The rest of her books were in the locker, or her books would be dropped off during the day. Her high heels ticked against the ground as she walked onto the school property, every now and then glancing to the left and right and sending a wink to no one in specific as she walked on by. Oh she was loved as much as she was hated. And that she was hated was no secret to her. But she didn't mind. Let the commoners by jealous. "Awh, that is so sweet," she said with and blew a kiss hand towards the male that was holding the door open for her.

Her golden waved hair danced over her shoulders as she made her way through the hallways. She was used to people stepping out of her way. Chemistry would be her first class, which only added to the fact that this day was cursed. She stepped around the corner... and collided with something. Or better said someone! She stumbled back a bit even, out of balance on her high heels for a moment. Her green eyes immediately narrowed to glare at the person who had dared to not get out of her way fast enough. Someone she had never seen before, but then again she hardly paid attention to these peasants that were her fellow students. She straightened up again and waited for an apology. "Well, come on, I don't want to waste more time than necessary on someone as stupid and incompetent as you," she said. She was so not in the mood for this, but this person better apologized quickly or she would make sure to ruin them.

Damian DeVille

The Bad Boy "Another Day.”

BEEP BEEP BEEP The dreadful blaring alarm went off on his phone early morning. With a grunt Damian rolled over and haphazardly smacked the phone to hit snooze. As he settled into his comfortable spot the alarm went off again. He groaned, ripping his head out from under his pillow so he could see his bastard of a phone that was releasing that atrocious sound, and silenced it. Just another school morning. He sat up, swung himself over and hopped off the side of his bed while stretching. He wobbled over to his dresser to grab his white v-neck and slight worn dark jeans, throwing them on while he grabbed his phone and left the room. "'Mornin' Pop." His grandfather was already awake making Damian some toast with butter and eggs in the kitchen. "Did you finish everything for today, kid?" Damian has never cared for school. The forced authority, the assumption that everyone has to follow the rules and fall in line, it's all just not his style. The only reason he's even still in school is because he wants to try to give back to his grandfather for raising him entirely on his own. At least, as far as he's aware. He still constantly gets in trouble but that's because people are trying to stop him from doing what he wants to do and if he has his stuff done they should mind their own business. Damian threw up his hand in a shooing motion. "Yeah yeah it's done. Tedious shit." "Hey as long as you do well enough that's what matters." His grandfather slid over his food on a plate and placed a glass of water next to it before checking the time. "You have a whole three minutes until the bus comes. Take it to go and I'll see you when you get home." Damian grabbed the toast and gave his grandfather a cheers as he swiftly threw on his old greaser jacket and slung his backpack over one shoulder.

Making it to the bus, he made his way to the back where the group of other gearheads resided. He high fived a few boys on the way to his seat and quickly fixed up his hair while hanging out with them until the bus stopped in front of the school. On his way off, he contemplated making a stop by the auto shop classroom. He had some time to kill before class and it wouldn't hurt to see if he could check a few things. While stuck in thought one of his friends playfully threw an arm around him. "Dude this place is driving me nuts! Wanna dip early? I was thinking maybe make our way into town and goof off or something." That one statement was like a shining ray of hope to Damian. Early freedom? Hell yeah, the afternoon classes were hard to stay awake during anyway. He chuckled. "I might, it's been awhile and I think I deserve it. We'll see. Shoot me a text during lunch and I'll let you know." Next thing he knew, he was inside the halls and it wouldn't be worth it to try and drop by the auto shop classroom. He received a pat on the back and a farewell wave from his friend. "Gotcha. I'll hit you up later." Damian threw up a wave and made his way over toward the chemistry class. First thing in the morning and I'll be balancing equations. Boring and more boring. He threw in his earbuds, wrapping them around one ear, as he turned on his tunes while traversing the halls. I need to find something to do today. Maybe snag another set of bolts and can of spray paint on my way o-

The flow of traffic of the students suddenly stopped and it would take effort to push through. Under his breath he mumbled. "Way too early in the morning for this shit." Something was happening that was juicy enough for people to stop moving. He clapped and raised his voice a bit. "Let's go, people! Places to be, things to do!" The bell would clear the crowd for sure but why should he have to wait?

Kit

High school was supposed to be four of the greatest years of a teenagers life. Keyword: Supposed. Instead, Kit found himself hating the whole experience all together. He was home schooled for awhile when he was younger and then when he moved in with his aunt and uncle he went to a private school. Moral of the story? High school sucked. His previous high school was nothing compared to the god awful jungle Maxwell Heights seemed to be. The clicks were unbearable, the teachers were unprepared, and the cafeteria didn't serve tator tots. This place was hell.

Kit moved silently through the waves of people before finally arriving at his locker. Did anyone even use those anymore? Who cares. Kit sure as hell didn't. He wasn't an idiot, he was going to be using the damn locker even if it was 'uncool'. Slinging the shoulder bag around his shoulder, Kit swiftly unlocked his locker tossing a few books into it. Chemistry was the first class of the day, he didn't need anything but his brain in that class. "Get back in there." The black haired boy hissed, staring now at the small raccoon who was sitting on the shelve in the locker. "Po, people seriously can't see you or--what the fuck." The breathe left the boys body, his back now pressed up against the locker to the right of his own. Kit opened his eyes, staring down at the group of jock's specifically one named Jordan. "Listen kitcat, you can't keep talking to yourself around here." The taller boy laughed, his fists hoisting Kit up higher. "Out of all the nicknames, you chose kitcat?" Kit drawled, the corners of his lips pulling up in an amused smirk before his back was pushed harder into the metal locker. "Shut the fuck up, dork!" Kit rolled his eyes, leaning his head against the metal. Fuck high school. He had only been in this school for maybe a month and it was going to be the death of him.

The bell caught Jordan off guard, gritting his teeth before dropping Kit to his feet. The raven haired boy unwrinkled himself, eyeing Po hiding in his locker before slamming the door shut. He didn't have time to yell at the damn raccoon right now. Po always felt the need to follow him and sure...any good familiar would. But not when Kit was already the weird one in school, he sure as hell didn't need people seeing his 'pet raccoon'. Kit shook his head, tossing the shoulder bag onto his body before hurrying down the hall to the chem lab. Kit rounded the corner, his hazel eyes widening as his body collided into another. Who the hell rounds a corner like that?

"Sor--" Kit clamped his lips shut, his eyebrows raising as the blonde caught her balance. It was Darleyn van whatever her name was. Of course he would walk into her first thing in the fucking morning. He had been in the school a month now and he knew she had no idea who the hell he was. But, no one really did. Kit didn't do friends. He usually took his lunch and went to the library or found a spot outside where no one was around. So her not knowing him wasn't all that surprising. Kit opened his mouth once more before bitting down on his lower lip. Oh, so now she demanded an apology. "You do realize that stupid and incompetent mean the same thing." Kit spoke before he had a chance to think about what he said. Little princess didn't scare him and he sure as hell wasn't going to be pushed aside by her. "Instead of wasting time on little ol me, you should probably waste it in an english class." Kit shrugged his shoulders lightly before stepping around Darleyn, making his way into the chemistry room. He was quick to move to the back of the class in the far corner. The boy set his bag down on the table before pressing his hand to his face. It was going to be a long day.

Jenny rolled her eyes as she arrived at school. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the club meeting, she would have seriously considered skipping. But then again, playing around with their little coven did make it worth it. It was nice to know you had something everybody else could never have, after all.

Heading up to her locker, Jenny saw Kit trying to hide his familiar. It was so damn cute she had to stifle a laugh herself, but it also made her a little sad. She'd tried several times to get a contract made, but every creature had rejected her. She was still on the market. Sighing, the witch packed up her textbooks and headed to Chemistry, taking her usual seat in the front of the class. It never hurt to catch the teacher's attention.

Caleb
So far, things hadn't been so bad for Caleb this school year. Even though he was new to the school, it'd been about two months or so since school started back in August and he felt like he blended in pretty well. Scouting out the various sports teams at Maxwell Heights had been interesting, even if he still wasn't sure which one he was going to join yet. He'd done track and field back home, but maybe with the move it was time to try something else. There was a basketball court somewhat nearby to practice that at if he felt like it, and he'd even been lucky enough to locate a local boxing gym. The classwork wasn't much of a change from what he'd had before either, so his daily life hadn't seen much of a shift. While he dropped by his locker to pick up his books for chemistry, a pair of boys playfully slapped him on the back. Some of his friends from the gym. Really, he had most of the things that one would miss after a move in the middle of high school.

"Hey, we gonna see you after school today?"

"Not this time," Caleb shook his head, "Got stuff to take care of. Moving not totally done and all."

It was a lie of course, but just this time he couldn't afford to be honest. For all the things that had been going well with his move it was surprising, to Caleb at least, that magic wasn't among them. He'd learned practically nothing more about it other than a reiteration of what his mom always told him, don't let others know about it. Meeting the other witches was a rather infrequent occurrence, so he never got to learn much about it from them either. If he thought about it reasonably, it was likely the others had been raised somewhat similarly to himself when it came to magic, so he figured his expectations were just too high.

So the meet up Lindsey had suggested was definitely something he planned on going to. He'd been so busy trying to piece his "normal" life together that he hadn't had time to be proactive on the magic front. Well, at least that'd probably change from today, but he had to get through school first. With his textbook and notes in tow, he started to head for chemistry, his first class. But on his way there, he couldn't help but notice a familiar face in the theater. The smaller one, anyway. Lindsey was sitting there, flipping through something. There was a bit of time before the first bell and all, but she had the same class as he did so they needed to head in the same direction anyway.

Deciding to see if she was in a talking mood, Caleb made his way into the auditorium before calling out to her and waving.

"Hey! Studying before class?"

Destiny Raymond

Destiny didn’t know what she had been thinking last night, she hadn’t been thinking actually. The water painting that she spent the night doing had come out beautifully, she was sure that her client would love it. But now she was suffering. Destiny has grabbed a cup of coffee in hopes of waking up. She’s at least tried to put herself together for her first day back at school, but then half way worrying about what she was going to wear she remembered that she didn’t care about what people thought about her, at least when it came to her appearance. So she threw something together. On her way out of her room she said goodbye to her beloved companion Pascal, who was sleeping soundly in his enclosure.

Like everyone year her father cooked a big breakfast for her, to celebrate the start of the new school year. The breakfast consisted of all her favorite breakfast foods. They’d eat together, talk about old memories, and she’d be on her way. After kissing her father on the cheek Destiny was out the door and in her car. The drive to her school wasn’t a long one thankfully. Seeing as she was a senior Destiny didn’t have classes until later in the day. But she came early in order to talk to some teachers.

When she arrived Destiny parked her car and headed inside, as soon as her foot brushed against the entrance it took everything in her to not turn around and head home. She sighed as she walked into the school. Destiny bobbed and weaved through the crowd of students effortlessly, she apologized whenever she bumped into someone but continued on her way.

Lesser than a cockroach - Rebel iShyShy iShyShy

Outfit
Sexy Autumn
Deep green eyes bore down on the male she had dumped into. She vaguely recognized him as one of those lone people. A loser. Someone she had never spend this much attention on. Though this was not the kind of attention anyone wanted. Disheveled clothes with no fashion sense really, jet black messy hair, hazel eyes, piercings and she could see the hint of a tattoo. He was a bit taller then her, though that was mostly because of her heels or he'd have been towering over her. He was one of those kids the football team already made fun off. His locker was just a few rows from jock Jordan if she was correct. Okay, perhaps she did know more about him than she would want to admit. A good Queen knew about the plebs after all. On a complete different note, it was almost a shame he was rather handsome and goodlooking. Such things wasted on someone with so little potential. Such a shame.

The male seemed to have found his voice and he came back with an almost immediate insult. "Excuse me?" she gasped, offended beyond. How did he dare to insult her intelligence?! Yet she wasn't even given the moment to react as he had moved passed her. Like she was nothing! Just as she thought things couldn't get possible worse that annoying voice called out for people to clear the hallway. She looked over her shoulder and her gaze directly fell onto the most annoying creature on earth probably. Even cockroaches were better companies. And that meant a lot coming from the Princess. She rolled her eyes slightly. What kind of places could that rebel possible have to go to? It was nt like he was normally on time or interested in classes. Momentarily it had even distracted her from the annoyance with the new guy. She let out a scoffing laugh as emerald eyes for a second connected with that forest green. Just as captivating as her own, though with a softer and more gentle touch to them. "Really? You have things to do? Like what? Sleeping in class?" she sharply commented.

The blonde picked up her designer bag and went into the chemistry room. Her nose wrinkling up, very displeased with all the sharp smells and the fact they would have to wear a labcoat and all that kind of stuff. So unflattering. "Perhaps you should be the one following an English class, raccoon boy," she hissed as she leaned down on the desk the kid from before sat down. Why a raccoon? She had no idea. Something about him reminded her of a raccoon. Scurrying away, creeping around, picking up the scraps. "Because stupid and incompetent are not direct synonyms of each other and can mean different things. You could be incompetent at a certain job or skills, without that meaning you are stupid." She smiled sweetly at him as she pulled up from his desk. "However you argument pretty much confirmed my assumptions, so yeah, I won't be wasting much more time on you. I got other people to take care of the vermin." She flicked her hair as she moved over towards her usually place. Third row, on the left, next to the windows.

Oh, It's just Darleyn. That makes sense. Jenny found the school's social queen absolutely intolerable. Too nasty and self-absorbed by far. She was more interested in building people up, not tearing them down. Jenny turned to her and snarked, "You do realize you don't have to be such a bitch, right? Try attracting flies with honey and not vinegar- you'll get a lot further on that than just stuffing your boobs with silicone." Her two cents added, the witch turned her attention back to her textbook before she was tempted to send the other girl a forced hallucination- it still wasn't worth it to use black magic, but Darleyn was gleefully jumping on that particular scale.

Damian DeVille

The crowd started to disperse after a few minutes. Whispers turned into loud chatter in the hallways again and Damian was only able to hear a few words here and there since he had music playing in one ear, leaving one to listen to the other students. All he heard was something about the princess and bumping. He smirked and chuckled, imagining her falling flat on her face. He could only hope that's what happened but he doubted it or he would have heard an ear piercing banshee screech. That in itself is bad enough for anyone. When it came to the Princess of Irritating the best thing to do was to stay out of her line of sight. That is, if you're a normal student. Damian finds joy in pissing her off because it's just so easy and she needs a good reality check every three seconds. Doctor Damian's orders.

As he began to make it way towards class once again the clearing of students left Darelyn smack dab in the middle and left alone. Almost like a signal had gone off in her head, her emerald eyes bore into his forest green ones. It was a silent battle for the fleetest of moments before he smirked at her comment. He continued walking past her, not to give her the satisfaction of being important enough to stop for as he quickly responded. “Nah, more important things. Unlike you, I don't need extra beauty sleep.” He couldn't help but let out a laugh as his shoulders and head shook. She definitely heard him. She huffed as she picked up her bag to go into class. Right. Damian followed behind her just to see what kind of ruckus she would cause. It was entertaining and who was he to give up free entertainment?

Darelyn walked straight toward the newer kid's desk. Uh oh. Poor kid....Kit. Damian dropped his stuff at his desk. It is his, he's made sure of it with the etchings he's made through the year so far. Back desk, closest to the door. This was his tactical location since he could see the entire classroom and obviously so he could make a quick exit when he got bored and felt like it. Throwing his feet up on the nearest chair he leaned his head against his fist and watched as she hunkered down onto the Kit's desk. She hissed words at him like a Disney villain. Maleficent? The Queen of Hearts? She was a good mixture of the two. It seemed like he really got under her skin. He had to guess that from what he heard earlier it was Kit who collided with Darelyn and evidently he won that encounter because she went back for the last word. As she pushed herself up to leave, Damian swung his legs off of the desk and made his way over to Kit's desk. He made his way over with a high pitched, terribly sounding mocking voice meant to imitate Darelyn's. Intending for her to hear it. “'Blah blah blah I'm better than you and if you don't watch out I'll use my dad's money to buy you so you have to do EVERYTHINGISAY!'” He chuckled. “Is that how she sounded?” He held his hand out for a high five. “I'm Damian. I'm sure you know that, we've been in class together. Kit, right?” They were classmates but that was the extent to their familiarity to Damian's knowledge. “Whatever you did, thank you. You did a good job pissing off the Princess and that's what I live for.”

After that encounter he could hear someone scolding Darelyn from across the classroom. “Looks like everyone is on her case today!” He snickered again.

Lindsey

Although Lindsey hadn't been expecting company, she didn't jump when Caleb's voice filled the tiny theater. Instead, she just smiled and looked up, pausing in her page flipping to study him. He seemed a little... off, and it made her smile fade some. "Just wanted to make sure I did the homework right." She told him, reaching to completely shut the book. Tucking it back into her bag, she followed suite with the papers, and then hopped off the stage. "You okay?" Her signature question, the question it seemed she was always asking.

Turning back to grab her bag, she slung it over one shoulder and then started for Caleb. "Come on, we should get to class. Bell will be ringing in just a few." Walking beside him, she hummed softly until they reached the hallway. The crowd appeared extra thick this morning, and there were a few raised voices amongst it. "What in the world?" She paused, immediately scanning the crowd for any signs of blood or discomfort.

Finding none, she glanced over at Caleb. "Must just be a traffic jam." Cocking a half smile at her own humor, she moved along with the others until their chemistry classroom came into view. Linking their arms, she ducked the two of them inside, then released him. "Text me if you need to." Offering him another smile, she nodded towards Jenny, and spotted Kit not far from her.

Noticing how he already had his face in his hands, she frowned. It wasn't until she had already started towards him that she recognized Damian; though not because she knew him. Moreso she knew OF him. Her steps faltered slightly, but she didn't stop. Sliding into the seat in front of Kit, she caught the tail end of what Damian was saying.

"Pissing off the princess?" Glancing around the room, she spotted Darleyn in her seat. The only 'princess' she knew of, but Lindsey knew enough. "Kit, what happened?"

xxxx When I said how stupid xxx can you be? It wasn't a xxxchallenge.
It wasn't long before the princess herself had stomped into the class, making Kit's gaze flick to the pissed off girl. Of course Darleyn was in the same god damn class. How did she even managed to get into chemistry!? That was the real question. His elbows were pressed on the desk, chin delicately placed right at the center where his wrists crossed, his hazel eyes now staring up towards the blonde.Raccoon boy? Kit frowned, his eyebrows furrowing together as he stared at the girl. How the fuck did she find out about Po? More importantly, she was getting way too close for comfort.

Kit pulled back from his comfortable position, his back now straight against the back of the chair to get farther away from the hissing blonde. What was she even saying? He had no fucking clue. He was too caught up in the raccoon statement. Within moments she was gone, flipping her hair and everything. "Jesus christ." He muttered in annoyance, his gaze now coming to the male standing in front of him with his hand held out. Kit blinked, his jaw slacking slightly as he stared at the hand before raising his and tapping his palm ever so slightly against Damian's. What was going on today? Talk to Kit day? "Yeah, it's Kit."

Placing his hand back on top of the desk, his eyebrows rose as Damian continued to talk. "I didn't do much, but you're welcome?" Kit bit down in the inside of his cheek, not really knowing how to react to all of the interaction that was happening at the moment. This was on Kit's list of the strangest days in his entire life. Thankfully, Lindsey slid into the chair in front of him. At least he knew she wasn't going to drive him insane.

The male eyed Damian once more before turning his gaze to Lindsey. She was such a mom, always taking care of the bunch of misfits. Kit shrugged his shoulders, going back in the position he was in earlier with his chin placed in the nook of his wrists. "Goliath over there decided to wig out because we collided in the hallway. But to be fair, who rounds a corner without paying attention?"

Hopping out of his mother's car he waved to her as she gave him an over enthusiastic wave back, beeped the horn and then drove off. Slinging his bag over his back after pulling a notebook out of it again he made his way through the gate. Did he care if someone passed a "Mama's boy" remark? No. How else was he going to get to school if his car was busted. Not that it took much to make it that way. The thing was a old heap anyway. He'd he getting it back soon though. People had little to worry them, if it filled their morning with something even slightly meaningful or give them something to talk about then so be it. Besides, his mind was elsewhere. Elsewhere being his chemistry book and the notepad resting on it that he was writing his chemistry homework into as he walked. Attempting to get through the crowds that had already gathered up of people not wanting to be late for the bell sounding.

Unlike the rest of his classmates that had managed to complete their work. Levi had fallen asleep about halfway through doing it, waking hours later face down on his bed with the page he was working on stuck to his face. While he managed to catch up on most of the work during breakfast and in the car he still had to finish the last part off and read it over. He couldn't have cared less about Chemistry but he still needed good grades in other subjects if he wanted to go to art college.

As he walked into the classroom with nothing more than a quick smile and a distracted wave after he walked in he walked past whatever commotion was going on with Darleyn to take his seat at the row just behind hers. Sitting at his desk he had put his feet up on it, his notebook balanced on his legs as he added the finishing touches to his homework for a few moments before closing the notepad and book, exhaling as he threw it into his bag and leaned back on his chair as if pretending he wasn't just after finishing work that should have been done long before now.

Caleb

"Ah, gotcha," Caleb replied as Lindsey told him what she was doing, promptly followed by a slight grin. "All good, now I'm just worried about my own homework since I didn't double-check it." Asking whether he was alright, huh. He hadn't known her for long, but she sure did like asking that. That wasn't exactly something he'd call a bad thing though. But he didn't really like worrying other people with his troubles if he could avoid it. That aside though, there was no reason to be late for class. He walked out of the auditorium with her before encountering the small leftovers of the commotion in the hallway.

"Something like that, eh?" he replied to her joke, scratching the back of his head. Once they arrived at the classroom, Caleb flashed her a thumbs up after she released him. They were going to meet up after school anyway so he wasn't sure if it'd be necessary, but she did nothing if not unnecessarily worry like that. He took a seat two rows away from the little commotion with Kit. Nothing against the guy or anything; if anything he'd like to get to know him better. But on the other hand he didn't want to overwhelm him. So for now, he just relaxed in his seat and waited for class to start.

Apparently the princess had missed the notice that it was 'national pick on Darleyns appearances day'. From Damian she wasn't used to anything less. Honestly it would have been rather disappointing if he wouldn't have come up with some sort of snap towards her. They always went back and forth. Princess and Rebel. So she wasn't all that surprised when Damian gave up his usual spot to move over to the racoonboy. With of course another stung towards her being dealt. Though one with class and precisement. Unlike the girl on the seat before her piping up with something. All she caught was something about silicone boobs, which made her raise an eyebrow sharply as she looked down at the girl.

Her emerald eyes pinning down onto the girl who was already turned back to her book. Oh she could deal blows, but not recieve them? Or did she not dare to look at the outcome of them? Darleyn let out a soft laugh. "It is funny how you think being called a bitch would be an insult to me. I wear that title too, and with pride, you know," she said. She wasn't blind to think everyone liked her. People only liked what she had to offer and what she could be used for. So, why should she been genuine in the first place? Being a bitch made this life a lot easier. Or perhaps this life had made her a bitch. With all the fake smile, fake promisses and fake interests. It all didn't matter. She pushed herself up from her seat as she noticed Levi coming in and sittting down in the row behind her. "But I do understand your frustration with being stuck in the itty-bitty-titty-committee," she said with a sugar sweet tone. When dealt a blow it could be expected to be returned.

Darleyn picked up her bag and put it down on the table behind her, next to Levi. He was..... well, not the sharpest tool in the shed, which made him perfect for this. Her eyes slid over towards Kits bag for a moment. Oh she had noticed how he had scrambled to quickly catch that vial again and hide it in the bag. So it had to be something... important. She'd figure out what it was later. First she would have to get her hands on it and Levi was gonna help her with that. "Hey Levi," she greeted with a rather friendly tone. She honestly did like his soft personaility, and she did not always use him for personal gain. She would never admit it out loud, but she had a soft spot for him and those puppy eyes.

"So I have this small request of you actually," the princess spoke with a softer voice. She really had no interest in anyone overhearing this. Furthermore Mr. Muffinman as asking for their attention, so he could start the class. His real name wasn't Muffinman, but he always wore his pants just a bit too tight around the waist and he didn't have the slimmest physique. So some of his chubbiness overflowed, pretty much like a muffintop. Hence the nickname she had given him, which had of course been picked up by most of the other students. "You know the new kid in the back next to Damian?" she asked. She gently pulled his sleeve so he wouldn't look back towards the duo in the back of the class. "Anyway, he has a little glass vial in his bag, which some purple liquid in side." She wasn't too sure on the color, since she had only seen it for perhaps one mili second and it had not been the main focus. "Could you please get that for me?" she asked with a soft smile.

"Miss van Almend, could you please be quiet? Class has started five minutes ago," mister Muffinman spoke with a stern tone. The young female looked forward towards the class. "I am so terrible sorry, I had no idea," she said with a roll of her eyes. She took her bag down from the table and got her books out. She opened it to the right page and as soon as the teacher was back to explaining some stuff, she leaned back towards Levi. "So, what do you say? I will pay your lunch for an entire week if you do this little thing for me," she said. She even mustered a cheerful and friendly smile onto her face. Hopefully Levi would just be as food motivated as she expected him to be. "Just say what you want and I-"

"Miss van Almend. Second time. What could possible be so important to disturb my class?" the teacher interrupted her. He sounded rather angry now. Someone obviously got out of bed with the wrong foot. She looked back at the middle aged man with an absolute uninterested face. "Anything really, since your class doesn't really add up much," she responded. She watched as the male for a moment blew his chest up and huffed. He tried to keep his calm, but he wasn't having it. Not that she cared. "That is it. OUT OF MY CLASS ROOM!" His voice thundered through the room. Darleyn gladly took her books back into her bag. "That is more a favor than a punishment," she said as she got up. She picked up her bag and flicked her hair back. Her eyes for a moment on Damian and then Kit. Oh she was so gonna fuck him over as soon as she knew what was in that vial he tried to hide. "See you at lunch, babe," she said and she leaned over and kissed Levi's cheek, before making her way out. Hopefully he'd do his part...

Damian DeVille

Damian didn't mind Kit's confused hesitation. Given his reputation, which he was proud of, and that Kit was new it made sense that he wouldn't want to talk to Damian but that meant nothing to him. He does what he wants and he wanted to give the kid props since he deserved it. The loner's reciprocation to Damian's gratitude was lackluster but appreciated all the same. Lindsey slid into the desk in front of the two boys and asked what happened. Her tone was so worried and defensive. Damian hadn't done anything so he wasn't sure why he felt like she was attacking him but he didn't like it all the same. It felt like she was accusing him of something. Thankfully, Kit explained what went down quickly and Damian smiled and nodded. “Just another day.” The hard glare from Kit was his cue to get out of dodge as he was obviously not wanted or appreciated. Damian shrugged with a playful smirk. “Alright I get the hint, I can tell when I'm not wanted. Thanks again.” Damian turned to head back to his desk so he could pull his homework out. He had missed Darelyn's sassy retort toward Jenny and that encounter when speaking to Kit and Lindsey.

“Ohhoho!” He playfully said to himself when noticed how Darelyn was hunched over trying to speak to Levi. He was such a fun and funny person who just wanted to be free to do his own thing that he never grasped that she was using him most of the time. But the interaction piqued his interest because he knew some nefarious scheme was on its way. It was now his personal duty to stop it just to make Darelyn mad. Again.

Class started and not even a full five minutes into it Damian was over the whole thing and getting ready to head out. Before he could make his exit, Darelyn got scolded by the muffin man. He had to give it to Darelyn on that one, it was a very fitting nickname and just too good to pass up using. A whole one thing to appreciate about her definitely doesn't make up for the hundreds of other things to not appreciate but she deserves the credit still. She tried to play it off innocently. Let me tell you that her acting is terrible. Then he couldn't hold in his genuine laugh because morning really couldn't get better. She not only got yelled at again but she also got thrown out! Wow did the T-Birds bless this day or what? Granted her statement about his class wasn't wrong but of course the guy would get angry. She tried to be cool as she got up to leave, giving Damian a cold hard gaze that he returned with a wink and blowing a kiss. She then had the audacity to kiss Levi's cheek and call him babe? Since when!? Damian was in no way jealous but the word 'surprised' was not sufficient enough for his feeling at that moment. He was for sure getting to the bottom of all of this.

When Darelyn made her grand exit, Damian stood up and looked at the muffin man. He dropped his homework on the desk so it would make at least some sound. “Look teach, here's my homework. It'll take you, what, thirty-five minutes to get through going over this garbage? You know the drill. I'll be back if I feel like it.” With that Damian swung his backpack over his one shoulder and walked out. It's not like muffin man would say anything to him since this has been a consistent occurrence through the year and of course, Damian has a reputation.

He caught up to Darelyn, who was going the entirely wrong way, and playfully poked at her. “Ya know, Princess, I'm hurt. I thought what we had was special and you just kiss another guy right in front of me. That's pretty low, even for you.” He laughed, turning to walk backward for a moment. “Alright so.. since when were you into class clown momma's boys? I always saw you as the 'go-getter trophy wife'.” He laughed again. Only to abruptly stop and then cut her off by putting his arm in front of her against the lockers. His tone grew serious but held the tint of playfulness still. “Now. What evil plan are you trying to conduct? Not everyone is going to fall for your pitiful acting. I saw that look you gave me and Kit. At least the way you looked at me was a lot nicer. I wonder why.” The last sentence was full of sarcasm. He felt as though if he could get under her skin more than usual she would just blab her plan to him out of annoyance.

Jenny brushed off Darleyn's comments. Sure, she wasn't exactly pretty- but she'd gotten under the other girl's skin, and that was what mattered. As the princess was given a well-deserved boot from the class, Damian also left. Neither one of them was worth the effort, so she paid them no mind. Better to keep her attention where it needed to be; she wasn't going to be some brain-dead moron who had to rely on someone else to complete her sentences for her.

She started taking notes, though she didn't really need to; she had cast a few spells to fortify her memory earlier, though they didn't actually make her smarter. Still, mind magic was a powerful skill, and she was talented at it. Boy, did it make her life easier.

Lindsey

"Goliath over there decided to wig out because we collided in the hallway. But to be fair, who rounds a corner without paying attention?"

Lindsey couldn't stop her lip from twitching at the word 'goliath', though she wasn't a fan of name calling. Not that she'd never called anyone a name; of course she had. She just didn't like confrontation or fighting in general. Everyone knew it. Perhaps that was why it was always kinda funny when she got to the point of name calling. A few more people entered the room and settled in, everyone waiting for class to begin. Some people were finishing their homework, some people were just chatting, some were sitting silent and alone.

Hearing Darleyn across the room, Lindsey's eyes slid from Kit over to the blonde, who was talking to Jenny. Actually, she was insulting her, which Lindsey thought might be her favorite pasttime. Just as Lindsey shifted in her seat to stand, her protective instincts taking over, class began. She cast another reassuring glance at Kit, just before Damian got up and moved back to his seat. Lindsey watched him go, then spun around to face the front.

It wasn't long before Darleyn got kicked out, and Damian followed not long after. Lindsey didn't like the feeling she got in the pit of her stomach, but with chemistry starting to go full swing, it wasn't long before she forgot about it. Hopefully today would go by fast.

Darleyn golden locks played on her back as she roamed the empty hallways. She didn't worry too much about missing the class, or having to go to the Principal. Her dad and he always played golf together and well, basically her dad helped the principal with his connections at the club there. One word and the principal would have to find a new place or new sport. Her lips curled up to a small smirk as the Rebels voice suddenly called out to her. "Ugh keep your demon claws to yourself," she complained when he poked her. Her green gaze connecting with his as he turned to walk backwards and complained about that little kiss. "Awh, you are almost cute being so jealous and desperate for my attention," she teased him. The tip of her tongue sneaking out between her lips as she playfully stuck it out to him

And deprived of her attention he seemed to be as that arm suddenly blocked her way. She stopped as she looked at him. A rather pleasant shiver running down her spine. Damian was probably the only one she allowed to do this. His expression more serious now, though his tone still playful as he accused her of evil plans. "Oh, Damian, that jealousy has really gotten to your head now." She let out a soft chuckle, an almost innocent giggle. Yet the sparkle in her eyes told the exact opposite. She lay her hand on his chest. Broad chest, strong chest as she leaned closer as if she was gonna tell him a secret. "That is none of your business, garage boy," she whispered with a rather seductive voice. Her lips even striking along his ear ever so softly. She sidestepped around him quickly as she pulled back. "See you later," she said cheerfully. Though she doubted he'd let her go that easily. She knew he would pull her back or block her again, before she'd be able to round that corner. And she'd be lying if she said she didn't like this chasing of them. Honestly, Damian was the only guy that was able to keep up with her...

“Demon claws?” That stung ever so slightly but the feeling faded as their eyes met. “More like King's hands. You should thank me!” Walking backwards was of no concern to him since no one else would be in the halls during class. Plus, he acted like he owned the place so he was comfortable with his actions. Although Darelyn could actually did own the place vicariously through her father.

“Whoa. First off, don't lie and say almost cute. Admit I'm” He changed his tone to excited and intentionally dramatic. “Devilishly handsome.” His tone went back to normal as he rolled his eys and sighed. “Second, don't get ahead of yourself. I am not jealous or desperate for anything.” His hands moving around and pointing at nothing as he spoke were meant to show how definite his words were but as much as he wanted and felt that them be true, could he really deny that he craved her attention if he went out of his way to get on her nerves so often? As far as he knew, yes, he could. At least for now. There was no way he was admitting to anyone how she looked even slightly pleasant to him when she stuck her tongue out at him.

The thrill of having her trapped for those few moments was something he reveled in. It was a rush for some reason and he couldn't pinpoint why. When she replied to his mostly serious question she brought up jealousy again. But that giggle had to be some sort of woman mind trick because his heart rushed at the sound of it and the look on her face while it happened. He showed no signs of the effect and brushed it off as frustration that she was trying to redirect him from his questions. “Woman. I. Am. Not. Jealous. Of. Anything. I know you can hear.” Before he got a chance to demand an answer from her she stepped closer. Not just stepped, she ever so gently laid her hand against his chest and he was not prepared for that at all. He was frozen for a few reasons, one being something he couldn't control as she leaned into him and warmly whispered right into his ear. Get a hold of yourself, man! Shaking his head immediately as the words were processed that she was trying to get away, he promptly spun around and snaked his arm through hers or grabbed the straps of her bag of the day and yanked her back toward him before she was able to make it more than a couple of steps. She stumbled, probably not expecting to be pulled but he caught her with both hands and forcefully yet gently moved her so her back against the lockers again. This time, he had his arms on either side of her so she wasn't going anywhere.

“Garage boy? You've come up with better.” He leaned into her and let his voice emit a low growl as he spoke. “Now give it up and tell me what you're planning.”

"You sound very jealous to me though. Complaining about-" Her voice fell as she let out a soft yelp. His arm was suddenly around her. Her heels, just like that morning, provided little balance. Darleyn stumbled and fell right into his arms. Her heartrate picking up a few notches as she looked into those forest green eyes. For a moment everything seemed to be motionless. The princess even forgot to complain about the rude behaviour or make a snide remark. All she could was look at that handsome-. Woah. Wait. No! "You really cannot get enough of me, can you?" She rolled her eyes as she was pushed back against the locked. Both arms on each side, perfectly blocking her way.

Darleyn commanded her heart to calm down to a normal speed. There was no need to be... Nervous? This was Damian for crying out loud. One thing she was sure of, he'd never hurt her. No matter how much they went under each other skin and searched for boundaries. There lay a certain respect between them. And they never crossed them. "Damn. Rough day, I am so sorry to disappoint you. But you are just not worth the extra second of thought," she answered. He came closer though. His voice lowered. Darker. Growling. Her heart was leaping again. For crying out loud! This! Was! Damian!

The Rebel asked about her evil plan. Honestly it wasn't that much thought out as he gave her credit for. She just wanted that vial and then she'd figure out what it was. And bring it to the principal. And hopefully get Raccoon boy suspended. Harsh? Perhaps. But at least she didn't have to worry about dumping into him for a while. "Why are you so upset, oil-monkey? Like I said, it is not of your business and doesn't concern you," she said. Her hand coming up to softly stroke his cheek. Her perfect manicured nails gently moving over the nape of his neck, just slightly tickle him there. "Now, be a good boy and let me go to the principal," she said. Once again slightly moved forward to talk with a husky voice into his ear.

“It's fine. You probably didn't have enough time to memorize the insults you Google for me daily.” He almost told her she didn't mean that he wasn't worth more thought but why would he care?

He hesitated at her inquiry. “Because... because...” Why did he want to know so badly? Because he wanted to piss her off by ruining her plans. But wasn't this a bit much? NO! She started it! Even though she totally didn't. He pulled his head away from her. “Wait. I'm not upset about shit!” He was something. But upset was not the word he was going to accept.

The soft tickle of her well kept nails sent chills through his body, which didn't help his train of thought he clearly had lost. And even though he was so determined to get what he wanted, he was furious with himself and confused with his emotions. This was not the normal every day back and forth with Darelyn he was used to and he had to get out of there. With an aggravated grunt he slammed his hands then shoved himself off of the lockers. He spun around and walked in the other direction. “Ugh. Whatever, knock off Barbie. Try to do whatever it is you have in mind. See if I care. I have bigger fish to fry.” The bell was surely going to ring shortly. Damian had to find a place to cool off and clear his head. Now he absolutely would foil her plans. It was the only thing he could think of that would get back at her enough to make him feel better. She really got under his skin this time. It definitely wasn't because he wanted to see her again. He was too angry for that thought to cross his mind right now. He knew she was heading to the principal's office so he was sure to storm off in the opposite direction. Hopefully he could make it to the gym or his preferred auto shop classroom without the swarm of people pissing him off.

Darleyn watched him with an amused sparkle in her eyes. She had him exactly where she wanted. Speechless, falling over reasons, yet not able to give her one. She did shock a bit when he slammed his hand into the locker. More because she had not expected that, but then again this was going further than normally. "Barbie? I guess you are lacking originality as well," she said as his back was towards her. Her lips were still curled up in a smirk as he tried to act so indifferent, but it was oh so obvious he was going crazy. "Oh, really? I think you already showed that you care a lot..."

The princess let those words drift after him. Unlike him not caring to pull him back. Even if she wanted that, she wouldn't have the strength or leverage to stop him. So she simply watched him disappeared to the complete other side than she needed to be. Her feet getting into motion again and with swift clicking sounds of the heels she made her way to the principal.

However like this whole day so far, everything seemed to go opposite of what she expected. Including the whole conversation with this male. And so the Princess of the school ended up with detention. Not even normal an hour after school detention, but no! The whole saturday! Which of course made her beyond furious. Worse of all was the fact her father was not even picking up his phone. He simply texted her 'Meeting. So don't disturb me with unimportant stuff' and that was it. Saturday detention. Unbelievable... The princess was furious
