Oak Academy opened its doors to a wider public in 2020. The school that was so hard to get into, so tough that only a mere 1% managed to get inside. But even then those people were not just based on their exam scores but also on their species. Without the knowledge of humans, vampires were living amongst them, mixing into society without pulling too much attention towards themselves [most of them]. Now that humans could enter, they has to sign a silence contract or the principal would haunt them for the rest of their days. Not that scary… right? You just had to keep quiet about it, not such a big task.
Vampires are not that different from humans, they just have a different “system”. They don’t eat all the food like humans do, just a maximum of 3 kinds [like bananas], some don’t even like it all anymore. When they are about to feed, even if they are just feeding from one of the Blood Cans they give out at school [and vending machines there], their fangs will start to show and their eyes will get a brighter colour. They can step into the sunlight unlike most stereotypes but after a while, their skin will start to irritate [this can be after 3-4 hours outside in the direct sun].
There are a couple of courses you can follow in the school. There aren’t much but it’s something. You can choose: Business & Management Studies / Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation & Tourism / Law / Medicine / Sociology.
