Dior Yagaro

location: Thorpe Villa

with: Eliseo and Issac

Dior smirked. He looks yummy; was the first thought that went through her head, after all its been a few years she chose her own meal. "My name is Dior, you? I'm a senior at the school, but haven't actually gone here yet. You look new though. Haven't seen you at any parties..." Dior smirked, before driving him to the party.

When the pair arrived, Dior shooed the kid off to meet some people. "If you really need someone to drink with, you know who I am..." After messing with him enough, Dior walked right in and waved towards Johannes before smirking. Too bad he's taken... he would have made a good meal too... maybe his girlfriend instead? nah, a sad drunk makes for a bad meal... Dior made her way to the fridge instead, to grab a wine cooler, and then went into the living room so she could sit, relax, and watch the carnage unfold. She noticed a more timid person near her and nodded her head at him. "Sup, name's Dior. Interesting ensemble huh? You get every batch of life at these kinda things..." She noticed features that reminded her of her last meal- the dark brown eyes, and messy black hair- which made Dior cling to her stomach in hunger. Damn.. I really need a meal... . "Anyway, you have any relatives? Maybe anyone who has been missing?" Dior laughed, at the awkward attempt at small talk. "Hahaha, of course, if you want to talk about it. I myself love anything and everything about cold cases..." Dior chuckled, sighing as the memory of her kill came back to her.
Man, despite him crying for his mama, was it fun...

Morena Adams
It took the death of hope to let you go

location: Beacon Hills ZOO

with: alone

outfit: XXX

"You know, a long time ago, snakes used to eat baby dinosaurs. I think a 44 lb boy would not be such a problem and could be eaten just like THAT!” Morena whispered into a little boy’s ear as a 550 lb anaconda attacked the terrarium walls right where his little head with brown messy hair was, making him jump and run to his mom that was standing on the other side of the snake exhibit section. “I bet I could do that, too” Morena chuckled. Scaring children was one of the perks of working at the zoo that she enjoyed so much. The boy was asking for it when he just could not stop tapping on the glass, disturbing the peace of one of Morena’s babies. Well, not literally, but as a gorgon, she considered all snakes her babies. To be honest, the boy was not disturbing only the snakes but was on his way to cause Morena headache, too, as the vibration of the glass was turning into loud noise inside her head. Just like snakes, she had a nifty hearing, which partly came from the ability to “listen” with her jaw. After a sound is picked up by the snake’s jawbones, it travels into its inner ear, where the nerves pick up the signal and transmit it to the brain in the form of sound. “Good girl,” Morena said and winked at Gigi, the giant anaconda, which also happened to be one of the biggest snakes in the world.

“Well, guys, this was the last stop on your tour. I hope you all enjoyed your journey through the animal kingdom and hope to see you soon. Parents, please, escort your children to the exit located to my right and kids, remember, snakes are very revengeful, so next time you see one, just stomp your feet really hard to scare it off rather than calling your parents to kill it, ok?” she uttered the mandatory closing line while stomping her feet to the ground really hard to get interaction from the kids, making them mirror her. Kids loved these kinds of facts, the more morbid the better, the little creatures were savages after all. You could never hear an adult tell you that you are ugly or that your breath smells bad right to your face. Omitting the fact that they could oftentimes get really loud and messy, children were the only people Morena tolerated as she felt they were not corrupted by human greed, malice, deceit, and hate, the very qualities that turned her into a hissing monster.

Watching the last people leave the exhibit made her sigh in relief. It was Sunday, 4PM, which meant closing time. Finally! These kid tours that the Beacon Hills Zoo was making every Saturday and Sunday was enough human interaction for Morena. She was ready to go through with the weekly maintenance of the exhibit and relax before it was time to enter the premises of Beacon High for the first time. Just the idea made her whole body quiver. It has been years since she had been to school. Decades, to be more precise. Morena was turning 138 today and the last time she had been to school was 120 years ago. She was 18 back then and had been enjoying all the stuff that was so typical for teenagers. Homework, gossiping and first love. It was also the last time she had been among people before she turned to the solitude of her cave. The world has changed so much since then. Cars, planes, social media…and the internet. One of the best things to ever be invented, Morena felt. It was really hard to navigate through all the amazing inventions at first, but she soon got the gist of it. Wondering whether people have also changed, she enrolled into Beacon High, ready to see what the world has to offer since she felt she was owed big time for the burden she had to carry.

Once she checked that all snakes had been given a hamster each, she sat herself on the floor in the middle of the exhibit. Knowing very well that she was the only human being around, she took her sunglasses off. There was no need for them now because there was no one far and wide that could be turned into a lifeless piece of stone. A nice decoration for her cave, sure, but still a worthless piece of stone. Morena never really felt remorse when she was turning clueless men into stones, but decades of doing it made it less and less exciting each time she gazed upon their terrified faces being frozen in time to remind her of their and her cruel fate. “Alright, babies. It is my birthday today, so I prepared a special dinner for you as you can see…and for me. Bon appétit” she made a makeshift toast and shoved a living hamster inside her mouth. She could feel the fragile bones make crunchy sounds under the weight of her teeth. It was not her favourite food, but hamsters were surely more delicious than mice and rats that were normally used to be fed to the zoo snakes. Their bones were more fragile since they were usually bred to be spoiled at home and not live the tough street life unlike rats and their meat was also fattier. It could easily be compared to raw salmon but with an earthy undertone to the meat’s taste. “It was really good, right, babies? Anyway, good night” she ended the celebration. Before heading to her studio, she took a quick pic of the empty exhibit so she could post it on her Instagram. Morena never really understood the meaning of such social media but observed it was very important for 21st-century teenagers, so she kept it just to blend in with the crowd a bit more. Being from the 19th century, she was already weird enough and wanted to attract as little attention as possible. Because she was a gorgon, obviously, and no one had to know, but also to avoid nosy questions.

The doors to her studio have not even fully closed yet when Morena was already in her gorgon form. Her head now turned into a hive of hissing mouths and a long beige snake tail where her legs used to be. When it came to aesthetics, Morena preferred her human form, but nothing could beat the comfort of not wearing shoes and keeping it real. Ready to post the pic from before on her Instagram, she sat on her bed and made herself as much comfortable as one could get on a 7-feet long bed with a 14-feet long tail. Having not much else to do that evening, Morena felt she could use more research on her future high school. Scrolling through Instagram accounts of the Beacon High kids provided useful insight on what was happening around them. It did not take long for her to pick up a certain theme most of the recent posts were sharing. Cars, outfits, selfies…all listed under the same hashtag. Party. Following twenty more minutes of scrolling and digging through the accounts that all felt the same to her, she learned that an end of the summer party was taking place tonight. An idea of attending flashed through her mind, but she quickly shook it off. She felt the familiar feeling of needles biting into her flesh. It was Flo, the boss of the hair squad, biting Morena’s cheek. “Auch! Stop it! I am not going” she shushed her, but it did not stop Flo from repeating the action. Soon all the other “girls” followed. “Alright, alright. Sheesh. I’ll go, ok? Just stop it already” Morena said in a resigned voice. Why not, she figured, it was her birthday anyway and it has been 120 years since she had a proper celebration and she could use the party to get a closer look at who she was about to deal with for the rest of the school year. “Wow, you really ARE snakes” she addressed her companions that met with a short hiss from all of them. With that, Morena hissed back at them, turned back to her human form, put an outfit together, and put her shades on.

Thorpe villa was already packed with people when she arrived…

The drive to the Thorpe Villa was a short one, and Aubrey only talked the whole way. In spite of his uneasiness of Kennith's supernatural scent, the fact that Kenny hadn't made any advances to hurt his family or friends in the time he'd known him put him at ease. Kenny was one of the nicest guys in Beacon Hills, and so Aubrey just figured he'd been hallucinating, or maybe Kennith didn't know he was supernatural at all. The drive there was about twenty minutes, with lesser traffic in the night. The roads only packed as they joined the street of the Thorpe household, and focusing his eyes through the darkness of the nights, hundreds of kids crowded into the estate. Aubrey's lips parted slightly into a grasp, nose almost flat against the side of the car window.

"You've never been to a party before, Aubrey?" His mother chimed from her seat in the driver's seat as she parallel parked. Aubrey just rolled his eyes and chuckled at the joke. He unbuckled his seat belt as she parked, prepared to let loose for the night.

"Haha, very funny mom-..." Aubrey's words were cut off at his mother's interjection.

"Are you boys going to need these?" Aubrey's mother asked, with two silvery, square-shaped wrappers in hand. Aubrey's eyes widened, his cheeks blushed pink at the objects in her hand. "I bought Magnum because I don't know what you kids like to use. But if you-"

Aubrey didn't even wait for her to finish her sentence. He pushed open the door and shut it behind him, and ran up the slope towards the Thorpe Villa. Gosh, was his mother embarrassing. All he hoped was that Kennith had also gotten the memo, and ditched the car as soon as he had. Aubrey didn't have to open the door to the villa himself, as he joined the crowd of hyped teenagers entering the estate. How could people be excited for something that'd barely been opened for twenty minutes? He brushed a hand through his dreads, and scanned the area, waving at Mariana, Cyrus, and Johannes in the distance. He'd wait for Kenny to join him at his side before making any further decisions.

"I don't remember you ever playing nice, A." Jordan teased as he stood by Anya's side. He was well aware of how fierce Anya could be if one crossed onto her bad side, something he respected, and admittedly feared her for. Still, in spite of her hard outer shell, Jordan enjoyed Anya's company. She was a biker, and mechanic just like him, and seemed to be the only person in the town to match him in maturity and sometimes sarcasm. Jordan was also enticed at the mystery Anya was. He wasn't stupid, and noticed some phrases that contradicted from time to time, the mystery of her family she rarely spoke about and so on. Still, if Anya ever told him to back off, he'd stop prying. But for now, he loved a good mystery. All that and the fact that he did find himself attracted to Anya- a secret he'd never reveal to anybody. He definitely wasn't ready for a girlfriend.

"Hey, freshmen will be freshmen." Jordan smirked. "Whole lotta' fresh meat and hungry seniors. I'm sure some of them'll get pregnant tonight for sure." A chuckle escaped the crack of his smirk. Out of his pants pocket, he removed a flask of gin, uncapping it with fingerless gloved, black-nail pained fingers, and taking a sip. It burned his throat, and everything in his stomach, but his expression didn't show it. Jordan downed almost half of the bottle, before letting out a short burp, and capping it once more. He wanted to loosen up, and alcohol almost always did the trick when it came to losing a filter.

He began his strides towards the Villa, making sure to keep to the two girls' sides. Jordan wasn't much of a high school celebrity, and was more of the opposite. Outcasted, and talked about since the disappearance of his mother, he faced lots of mental challenges with rumours, and of course losing his mom. It'd driven him to a dark patch he never thought he could come out of, and in all honesty, he was still working on getting out of it. The student body still saw him as a menace though, and it came as no surprise when kids inched away from him as he approached the estate entrance and entered into the villa. People only dare come near to him, but he really wasn't a bad guy- at least not anymore.

As he entered, he shot a chin-flick in Johannes' direction out of respect for the one who'd put together the function, but finally set his sights on Harry and Anya once more. "I've got beer in my bag, but he already has so many on the liquor table. Bummer." He groaned, and stretched out his back sarcastically. "You ladies want to get anything? I'll be your body guard or something for the night. No need to thank me." A grin formed on his face at that.

A half laugh escaped Anya's lips and an approving smirk appeared on Harry's at Jordan's comment about freshmen getting pregnant. Those acerbic, snarky remarks were just one of the things that she liked about the guy. He could match her for snark and sarcasm on a good day (though she always maintained she was better it that than him, a topic they frequently disagreed on). "And that's just the guys eh?" She smirked as the three made the way towards the house (if 'house' was even the correct term to describe the building they were approaching).

The looks she and Jordan were given as they made their way up the drive, boots scuffing against the ground, were not lost on Anya. She knew the basics of what had happened to Jordan's mother. He hadn't offered her many more details on the matter, and she hadn't pushed. She and Jordan had come to a mutual understanding of I won't ask about your past if you don't ask about mine. Hers was more dubious and she could see it sometimes in Jordan's eyes that he was dying to ask more but didn't.

Anya had suffered her fair share of rumours when she strayed attending Beacon Hills High School. Being a fifteen-year-old with a perfectly legal driving licence, a motorbike and some kickass leathers hadn't helped matters. There were rumours she was a murderer on the run (one with psychopathic tenancies, as being a regular psychopath wasn't enough), an escapee from a juvenile detention facility, somebody in witness protection and so on and so forth. Her reputation hadn't exactly been helped by getting into fights with the jocks and winning them. She was dangerous one and was treated like that. Anya couldn't deny she got a slight hit from having certain people keeping her at arms length in fearful awe.

The inside was, predictably, thronged with people. The music was loud and tasteless, the air was getting hot with both body heat and teenage heat and the smell of booze was beginning to seep from everywhere. There was also what seemed like six million red solo cups infesting the room. Harry looked at them with amusement. "Now these are the stereotype staple of every American party, they certainly don't exist in Wales." Harry was very proud of her Welsh heritage and brought it up many times (some would say too many times) in casual conversation.

Anya rolled her eyes, but fondly. "Only you could pick up on such a thing Harry." At Jordan's bodyguard remark she snorted but in a good natured way. She could look after herself and Jordan knew that. "If by that you mean I do the bodyguard duty and pretend to drink for the night while not actually drinking, Harry talks shit and does the running commentary of everything, and none of us fall into the pool, then there's a deal." She matched his grin and tone with one's of her own, the idea of spending a good chunk of the party with Jordan was very appealing. She then added "I'll take a Coke with a dollop of whatever passes for vodka here." Anya didn't usually drink, and she fully intended to make one drink last the whole evening. She had to drive home after all and crashing her bike wasn't an option. "I'll take a beer, since your offering."Harry replied.

Spencer’s day had been relatively relaxed today. Early run this morning through the preserves, before he was relaxing at home waiting for the party later tonight. Spencer was excited to see some of his friends that were going to the party, having spent most of the summer working crazy hours with his dad, and spending almost three weeks in Hawaii on a family vacation. The vacation was great, but it meant that he couldn’t be there when Sasha had almost died walking along the road. The rest of his time was spent with his dad training for the new year of sports. Running weight training, etc. But now was the last time to focus on his summer vacation.

As the day inched by and the clock ticked closer to the time of the party, he figured he should get ready. He figured he should at least get some food in his system before he began consuming alcohol of any kind, so that was his first task, a quick meal, or rather the leftovers from last night’s dinner. He spent a little time conversing with his family, mostly his parents trying to set up a timeline for tonight, and when he would be picked up and who was driving, etc. The only answer he didn’t have was when he would be home. Since it was really up to Sasha.

After Spencer ate, he took a really quick shower to clean himself up before changing into a relatively nice outfit, featuring a bathing suit since without a doubt someone ends up in the pool propping the rest of the party to jump into the pool. And he was not about to jump into a pool with pants on.

Spencer checked his phone as it vibrated on his dresser with a call, Spencer picked it up, watching as a pair of headlights pulled into his driveway.“Hey, I’m on my way out,” He said, opening the front door of his home.

Lila smiled at her friend. Asking about her week. Ella was truly the mom if Lila had ever seen one.

"My week was fine. not like we have a ton to do over the summer. I read the summer reading stuff in the first week of the school being out I think. Most of my time was spent either doing chores for my grandparents or video-calling Riley. Remind me again why we are going to this party where they are going to loud basic music and get drunk. As if they are not insufferable enough as it is. Anyway how was your week?" Lila mini ranted as she drove to the Thorpe mansion. She loved Ella for how patient she was. She kinda realized that she had been extremely lucky to find a niche to fit into.

Lila parked a block off Johannes' place because she did not want drunk people driving in to her truck. They both got off the tuck and started walking the rest of the way to the mansion. "Hey Ella, i need to confess something. I am gay. I haven't really told anyone else here yet and I hope that is okay but yeah..." She waited for a reaction as they continued their walk over to the mansion. She was nervous. She had been out since forever in Denver, but it was never easy coming out. They were standing in front of Johannes place with loud music pouring out. She let out a huff as she looked at the mansion and turned hopefully towards her friend, waiting for her response.

Eliseo sat with a little unease. It's not often he's in a car with a stranger driving, not to mention he's new to an unfamiliar city with unfamiliar people and unfamiliar places. Eliseo gave odd glances at the woman, he saw her smirk with a devilish attitude, although he assumed it to just be her making light of their situation. The woman gave her name and added that Eliseo looks new.

"I just moved to town so, I'm rather new to everything right now." Eliseo looked around at the passing streetlights and houses. "I'm starting school here as a junior," Eliseo added.

Eliseo and Dior talked briefly before they arrived at the villa. Eliseo was promptly shooed away, he was told to find some people and make some friends. Eliseo reluctantly approached the front of the house, he laid his head low to avoid making eye contact with the wrong people. As he entered the villa, he raised his head to get a full perspective on what's happening. It's a party alright. He looked around at the partygoers, catching a glance at a woman wearing sunglasses. He looked at her for a few moments before realizing he must look like a creep. All he could think of when looking at the woman with sunglasses was, who would wear sunglasses at night? Eliseo disregarded these thoughts and decided to be a little proactive and involve himself in the party.

As he grabbed a plastic cup and filled it with whatever was in the kegs, he leaned against the wall and just observed what was happening. People were still flooding in, all yelling at the top of their lungs and raising their hands in celebration of what Eliseo assumed to be not much. It's been so long since I've been to a party. It's had to have been like 7 years since I've gone to one. Eliseo took a sip from his cup and set it down as he realized how bitter it tasted. I think the last party I went to was... Eliseo pondered for a bit, trying to remember her name. Lilly? No no, it was Lila. I think? As he remembered past thoughts, his thoughts became rather somber and nostalgic. To a time when he wasn't as much of a potion-making, and talisman-creating person. A simpler time.

But Eliseo was not about to give in to his melancholic thoughts, he was at a party and as such, he should party. And so, like every other person at a party, he stood against a wall and decided that drinking whatever was in his cup was better than having to socialize.

As the drive to Spencer's house began, Jayden pulled her phone out and shot a quick message to Johannes that she would be arriving soon. As much as a grand entrance would bring joy to many of the girls in Beacon Hills, Jayden couldn't care less and just wanted to see the boy when she finally arrived at his house. She had to stop her thoughts from straying to far to the boy, and turned her focus to Sasha who's eyes were focused on the road.

Jayden raised her eyebrows at the other girl in disbelief of what she had just said. "I look amazing? Besides the fact that I feel as if you picked me up in no pants at all, you look amazing. We barely see each other for one summer and you blossom into a model" she joked. She hadn't spent a lot of time with Sasha in a while and it was refreshing to see the girl again, as she always has good times with her. Looking out the window as they departed from her house she almost forgot what the other girl had said. "Oh I most definitely don't doubt it. Maybe I should learn how to drive one too" she thought out loud, slightly rubbing her right temple. Jayden had been looking for a new activity that could be a destresser, as she was heading to college in two years everything felt overwhelming. Especially her parents, even if they meant well and just wanted the best for her they'd always monitor her schoolwork and track and it was getting stressful at this point. Riding a motorcycle did seem like it'd give her the thrill and freedom she searched for, but she'd seen many stories of athletes getting in one bad accident and their career was over. That meant she probably wouldn't even be able to get the idea across her parents, but it's always worth a shot.

Jayden visibly stiffened when Sasha asked if anything new had happened, mainly due to the fact that something had happened. Instead of answering truthfully, she let out a nervous laugh and lied her ass off. "Everything's been great, couldn't get any better. I think this is the best I've ever felt" she rambled, with a tight lipped smile. She knew Sasha could probably tell she was lying, but she honestly didn't care at this moment, all she could care about was how the car suddenly got hot and clammy. Hastily and forcefully she pushed down on the button, until her window was fully rolled down and some of her nervousness faded away. Once she heard that little ole Jax had a girlfriend, she couldn't stop the pout forming on her lips. "Tsk, and to think he said I was his future wife" she feigned offense at the fact that he had gotten in a relationship. He was always like a little brother to her and it was so cute to see him growing up. What she couldn't deny was that she was curious on who had stolen his heart, but that was a matter for another night.

When the car slowed down in the driveway of a house, Jayden squinted her eyes trying to make sure it was Spencer. Once her eyes finally permitted her to see, she saw that it was indeed the boy and a smile laid on her lips. "Spencer! If you don't get in this car right now" she yelled out to him, a light chuckle leaving her lips at the end of the sentence. The window was right open, it was calling for her to do it so why not?

Jade thought as she applied some lip gloss. Jade vividly remembers her first end of summer party. She had been lankier, just got her braces removed, tried to wear heels for an extended period of time but failed. Everyone was so young... Innocent. Her and Addison could barely hold their drinks. Jade smiled at the memories from long ago as she stood up and walked over to her full length mirror. She wore a pink crop top with a matching skirt. While being only 5'2", Jade had long and slender legs. If she wasn't so damn short, Jade could've pursued a career in modeling. But she had big plans for herself, an ivy league school, majoring in business and soon being handed over the CEO position of Conjured Gold inc. With that position, she'd be the top dog. In full control. Jade has internally feared being another washed up popular girl for quite sometime now, and with this plan she wouldn't have to worry about that. If the future goes her way, she'd have a name for herself. The blonde took her white clutch and stepped out of her bedroom. She sashayed down the hallway and down the grand staircase. As she heard Addison honking her car, Jade had her cousin's arm wrapped around her shoulder, "What do you want, Reese?" "Can I get a ride with you and Addie?" Reese asked while faking a pout and fluttering his eyelashes. Jade groaned and shoved Reese off her, "Go ask one of your greasy stoner friends." "Come on, Jade. Addie is so cute." "You've had this crush since the beginning of time and nothing has happened, don't expect anything now. Plus, we don't need you ruining our vibes with your presence... Maybe Juniper will take you?" Jade rolled her eyes and slammed the front door on Reese. Jade walked down the long entrance to the manor and into Addie's car, "Hey, babe." Jade buckled herself in and ran her manicured nails through her new hairstyle, "Like it?" As they drove towards the Thorpe Villa, Jade examined Addie's ring, "Listen, being a vampire is cool and all, but I think that vampire did you dirty. Looks like something my grandmother wears." She then slouched into the front passengers seat, "I bet I could charm another ring for you?" [/div][/div] [div class=quote]you should see me in a crown.[/div][/div][/div]

Addison Swan
QUEEN BEE
A smug smile was sitting on Addie’s face when Jade joined her in the car. She noticed a slight change in her friend. Well, not so slight. It was pretty major, to be frank. "What did you do???" she asked, shocked for a second. "But yeah, it looks totally cute. I love it!" she commented on Jade’s new hairstyle. "But yeah, it looks totally cute. I love it!" she asked and pulled away from the curb so finally drive to the Thorpe Villa. They were possibly going to be the last ones arriving. Good. No, great. True queens deserved a worthy entrance. And these two, they simply knew how to do that.

For a while, Addie focused on driving and only Jade’s voice brought her back a bit. "Listen, being a vampire is cool and all, but I think that vampire did you dirty. Looks like something my grandmother wears. I bet I could charm another ring for you?" she asked, pointing to that ring and Addie’s eyes sparkled with excitement. Since Johannes didn’t live far, she was slowly parking her Porsche in front of his house and once the engine was off, she turned to her friend. "You could? I mean…this thing is horrendous." she said and waved her right hand in front of Jade’s eyes. "But I have to do what I have to do. Not interested to turn into a pile of ashes just yet." she grinned and unbuckled herself. "Anyway, if you think you can hex me some cute piece, we should totally do that. Asap." With that, both blondes left her convertible and walked towards the house.

Music was blasting loud and there were several kids stumbling outside, a few of them were puking on the flowerbeds in front of the house. "Ew, gross. Is this really what they let in these days?" she asked and shook her head, clearly horrified. Once at the door, she straightened her back and smoothed out the black dress, perfectly embracing her figure. The two walked in and for a brief moment, eyes were on them. This was what Addie loved. Attention. And the clear message in everyone’s eyes. Respect. Addie flashed a look at Jade and with her head held high, she walked on.

There were already several familiar faces there. Addie saw Cyrus with his ex. She still had no idea about how the two of them worked now. Not that she cared. She had her own business with him. Her eyes were scanning the villa for their host. Johannes was her dear friend, even their parents knew and visited each other often and Addie definitely wanted to see him that night. But there was one matter that was now more important than the others. And she noticed him right at the drinks table.

"I have to take care of something before anything else. But I guess we will go and destroy a few people at beer pong?" she asked Jade and tossed her blonde mane to the back. Nothing like a healthy competition and the two were a great team together. With Addie’s enhanced senses and reflexes and Jade’s skills, the two could be invincible.

Addie simply walked to the drinks and poured herself a nice solo cup of Chivas Regal 25. Nice choice. The host apparently knew his booze. Her blue eyes pierced through Elijah and she flashed him one of those charming smiles she could do so well. One of those that got her anything she wanted. "We should find some quieter place." she said and moved her head towards the stairs. She has been meaning to talk to Elijah for quite some time and it was a matter, immensely important to her. Without even waiting for his reaction, she started to walk in that direction, fully expecting Elijah to follow. But before anything else, she made sure that her presence was noticed by Cyrus, sending him a mischievous wink, definitely planning on meeting with him later. The queen was clearly in the building now.

Mariana Flores
werewolf | party girl
Mariana couldn't help but miss Cyrus' car while it was in the shop but mostly she had been worried about him. That accident could've killed him and by any account, it should've. How he had managed to come out completely fine was a shock to everyone in Beacon Hills but to Mari...something felt a little different about him since. He seemed different. Not necessarily in a bad way but more sensitive to certain things, stronger in a way as she'd felt in one of their more recent rendezvous. She chalked it up as her overanalyzing things because she knew it couldn't be what she thought it was. The supernatural had been suppressed for years in Beacon Hills...most people didn't even know about them. It was all old legends and tall tales. She had to assume it was just that the accident knocked him a bit off his game, though she'd never say so out loud.

As they walked into the party, Mariana took in the stares they got. She wasn't a rich kid like most of the popular clan was but she was well known. She was outgoing and knew how to have a good time so her personality just pulled a lot of attention. Not to mention her sorta unconventional friendship with Cyrus that often managed to get people talking. Her eyes flickered across the room, making it a point to wave at both Johannes and Aubrey before she felt Cyrus' arm tighten around her own. She discreetly tried to help him to collect himself so that no one would notice his sudden stumble. Before she could comment, he was already reassuring her that he was okay. She simply nodded but made a mental note to keep an eye on him as best she could. "I was only going to suggest we find something to drink," she countered, shrugging off her worry because she knew he wanted her to.

Instead, she walked with him to find the alcohol which was practically everywhere. "Ooh, tequila. My fave," she grinned, picking up the bottle and pouring some into a solo cup. It was probably a good five shots worth but she wouldn't drink it all at once. She was, after all, sorta buzzed from the blunt they'd smoked on the drive over. Looking over, she caught Addison and Jade walking in, the former sending a wink in Cyrus' direction. She rolled her eyes and broke free of his grip. "Looks like your plaything is here," she commented, a forced grin on her perfectly painted lips. Not that everyone knew they were hooking up, not even Mari knew for sure but she wasn't blind or stupid. She saw the look in Addison's eyes when she glanced over at Cy. It wasn't that Mariana wanted him back or anything, but that didn't stop her jealousy from sometimes showing.

Sasha couldn't help but burst out in laughter at Jayden's comment about her pants. Yes it was a bit excessive, but where else would she wear these pants? Not to mention it's only the front that's all cut up. "What! Waste not want not you know. Plus I can't wear these jeans to school, so party it is." truth be told her dad got them because someone told him cut jeans were in style for girls, and so these made their way to her room. She didn't have the heart to tell him there was probably a limit. He tries hard to play the mom and dad role in her life since he has too, but sometimes the mom role is hard for him and he misses the mark. It's adorable most of the time, and she loves him for it. At this point though she kind has given up on having a "female" role model in her life, and she's not upset about it. She's got a few good friends and that's enough for her.

"Pff I wouldn't go that far." She rolled her eyes. A model? Yah right when they've got damn near literal model like girls and guys walking around school with their thousands of instagram followers and likes. She wasn't ugly, but she didn't think she'd gotten any prettier over the summer. Her ears perked up at Jayden's suggestion. If it wasn't for the fact she was driving she'd have turned to her immediately and the excitement in her eyes would've been on full display. "Well if you really want to I'd be willing to show you the ropes. It'll be fun I promise!" The idea of having her buddy riding around with her was exciting! Honestly she thinks everyone should have something that they can do that makes them feel free and like the whole world just melts away. For her that was riding...well video games were a close second, but this got her out the house, and to a place where no one could disturb her.

Jayden's reaction and body language told on her. It screamed something was up despite her words, but only because she knew the girl so well at this point. "Hmm Ok." She hummed keeping her eyes on the road. She knew her best friend and knew that wasn't the truth, or at the very least there was a lot more to the story. The thing was this wasn't the kind of night to try prying. She wanted to have a good time with her tonight since it'd been so long, so whatever was really wrong could wait until Jayden was good and ready to tell her. She hoped she knew by now she had her back no matter what or that it wasn't anything too serious. She didn't have time to linger on it long as they'd pulled up to Spencers place. She saw him making his way out the door and hung up the phone to wait. She laughed as Jayden called out to the boy from the window. Sasha waited for him to climb in before taking off. With everyone locked and loaded she made her way to Johannes place. Considering the time she didn't expect to get too good of a spot, but that maybe a blessing in disguise depending on how this night goes. Maybe not being right out front would be good if things get too crazy.

She smiled as they finally walked through the front doors for the villa. She looked around to see if she recognized anyone else already there through the crowd. She thought she'd seen Lila on the way to the door, but she was stopped and talking with someone and she got the vibe it was a moment she shouldn't interrupt. She'd say hello once she was inside for sure. She caught a glimpse of Addison, Mari, Cy, and Addison. There was a short haired blonde next to her, but she couldn't see her face. Was that Jade? She rolled her eyes and kept looking till she spotted Kennith and her cousin Aubrey. She waved a bit at the two with a smile. If she was going to see anyone else she'd need to go further in.

Honestly she wanted to make her way to the beer pong table and have some fun stomping out the competition. It was usually her favorite part of these parties just because it always gives her a little rush being to compete in something win or loose. Not to mention loosing at beer pong tends to go over a lot smoother then loosing at anything else because if she gets drunk she won't get angry. She was a very happy drunk thank goodness. "I'ma head to the table, either of you coming with?" She turned and asked Jayden and Spencer if they wanted to join her. It didn't matter to her if they wanted to go their separate ways right now and interact with other people. They'd have all night to hang out after all.

Johannes immediately recognized the gift from Levi as Link from the Legends of Zelda franchise. He had good memories of playing the older games with his cousin whenever he visited her during the holidays. Not to mention the fact that he had recently bought a new violin, which he named Zelda. It seemed very fitting. “Wow, thanks Levi. I’ll add this to the collection later. For now I’ll put this somewhere it won’t get lost. And no worries, I think most people will be too drunk to notice or care about things going missing,” Johannes answered with a big smile. There was something special about knowing that a person took the time and effort to make something from scratch. Something that was one of a kind, and Johannes appreciated it a lot. He put the figure into the closest cabinet he could see, hoping he would remember it the morning after and put it on display on his bedroom shelf.

At the request to show Levi the way to the kitchen, he gladly obliged. It wasn’t really far away, nothing in the house was. With ease he made his way through the increasing crowd and to the kitchen. The Pizza had arrived. Most of the boxes had already been taken by the guests and carried around in the house, while the remaining boxers were stacked on the kitchen counter. “Just take whatever you want, and I’ll see you later,” And with that Johannes was alone in a crowd of people, but it didn’t last long. His attention was caught by some classmates while he was pouring a new drink. They wanted him to join him in the pool, their clothes soaked with water and a dopey smile on their lips. Johannes rejected their offer, saying he would save it for later. Around him he saw people stumble across the floor, couples screaming at each other and strangers making out. Once in a while he noticed more familiar faces and waved at whomever he got eye contact with.

He finished the cup he had just poured in a short amount of time, before making another one. A tap on his shoulder brought his attention to one of the members of the swim team. He invited him to join them outside to smoke some joints. This Johannes actually said yes to. Despite the weather not being optional, it wasn’t cold outside at all. Many people had even stripped down to their underwear, or swimwear, depending on how prepared they were. As Johannes found a seat in one of the outdoors seating areas, he gladly accepted the blunt being offered to him. It wasn’t like he didn’t have any weed of himself, but people always tended to appear quite happy when they got to share with him. Especially during his own parties. With the joint resting between his lips, he felt his phone vibrate from his phone and picked it up quickly. A smile appeared on his lips when he saw the message was from Jayden. The smile grew bigger when he read that she would be there soon. He replied that he couldn’t wait to see her again, with a simple red heart added.

Around the time he wrote the message he was feeling quite faded, both from the alcohol and the weed. He had started to feel more hazy. It worked slower than normal, and everything took a bit longer to register. Keeping up a conversation and holding his balance wasn’t a problem yet, but he was feeling his normal self slipping away the more he drank. Drunk him wasn’t really very problematic, he was just very fond of others and hyped to party, play and dance. Of course he had had his really bad black out drunk moments, but he was not planning on getting that wasted tonight.

Jordan chuckled at Harry and Anya's banter. He rolled his eyes at her rebuttal to him being their bodyguard for the night, and feigned a laugh at her comment. In the dark of the party, he rolled his eyes as well. "You underestimate me, Ms. Taylor. And a whole lot too." Jordan shook his head as he spoke, but his lips were creased into a smirk. He definitely wasn't one to offer to do anything for anyone but tonight marked the start of a new school year-- well, with school less than two days away. He'd made a vow to himself to be more welcoming, and was conscious of doing so. Albeit with Anya, and her friend Harry, being good to them tended to come easy. He wouldn't say he loved anyone besides family, hell it strained him to even say 'hello' to his father, but he just felt... transparent, and at ease with Anya. As far as that could go even with the barriers the two had up concerning their history, and personal life. Somehow, they didn't need to know everything about the other to click, and that sat just fine with Jordan.

He swung a dark bag off of his back, and pushed one hand into the larger pocket where cans of Coors beer clanked, and smacked against each other. At least someone wanted some of Jordan's beer, in spite of the array of different selections of alcohol and beer on Johannes' liquor table. Hm, at that thought, Jordan would at least have to say hello to the host of the party. He was well aware hosting something like this had to be a pain in the ass. Having pushed his hand past his crowbar, and lighter, Jordan's hand clasped around the cold metal of the beer can, and then handed it to Harry. "Good to be of service to someone here tonight." He grinned, before shutting his bag, and swinging it back onto his back. Surprising that he hadn't knocked his bag into anyone in all his removing, and putting on.

"Give me a second then, A." Jordan nodded, let out a short sigh, and turned into the ocean of teens. Still, the number of teens in the house was decreasing as they continued outside into the pool setting of the large Thorpe Villa. He couldn't blame them, the whole villa just seemed to put one at ease. With his eyes glued to the teens outdoors though, Jordan hadn't even realized the teen ahead of him. He let out a short grunt, eyes glaring down at the blonde-haired woman before him. His emerald green eyes furrowed menacingly at the blond's blues, before they awkwardly softened and reverted to normal.

Jordan patted his leather jacket, and analyzed the girl's person under the dimmed lights. He was going to make an effort to be welcoming and kind, because that was what he'd promised himself. He was going to keep to his word, and where better to start than an accidental bumping.

"That's my fault, really, I didn't see you there." He started, and with each apologetic word, it felt as if his throat was burning. He wasn't used to talking to strangers, much less apologizing to one in a high school party. "I haven't seen you around before, are you new? Wouldn't be surprised if you've been here since freshman, I don't socialize a lot these days." Jordan's tone was calm, and nonchalant, in spite of the constant back and forth he had going on in his head. "Jordan..." He introduced, and was tempted to say his last name, but he figured things would be a lot smoother if he didn't reveal his relationship with the town's sheriff-- his father. "You? Perhaps in apology I can offer you a beer?" Jordan finally cracked a smile at the last sentence.

Leviathan Black

Tags: Dior vielpotato vielpotato Isaac mogy mogy | Location: Thorpe Villa - Kitchen 🍕

Upon being shown the pizza left in the kitchen, Levi went to town. Isaac was off in his head again, it seemed, so Levi cleared off some space on the kitchen island, and proceeded to sit on top, with the help of a barstool. He kept one box of pizza next to him, guarding it even with one arm. There were plenty of other boxes still left for people to pick from, but dammit, this one was his. With his free hand he picked out a slice before closing the lid and proceeded to take bites as he looked around.

He saw some girl trying to talk to Isaac from the couch next to the kitchen. Levi did have manners enough to finish the bite in his mouth before he called out. "Yo! He's prollys lost in thoughts. He gets like that sometimes. Ain't mean nothing unkindly by it. Just is what it is, yanno?" His legs started swinging forward and back, the kitchen island was just the right height for him to do so. Okay, most things were the right height to swing your legs when you're five feet nothing.

Levi grinned big as he took another few bites of the pizza. Like for reals, this was the life, free food and people up the wazoo to watch. Since most of the people were gravitating naturally to the outside with the pool, that meant more pizza left behind for him to devour. Though every now and then he did check on Isaac to see if his friend wanted a piece or not. Heck, he even pointed out the pizza to the girl on the couch. Though, it should be noted, it was not the box he was guarding. Oh no, he pointed out the many open unclaimed boxes as he muttered, "There's pizza there if'n you's want some."

The conversations that filled the car kept Jayden laughing throughout the car ride to the party, and she was starting to reconsider if she really wanted to go to the party or just spend time catching up with her best friend. She'd gotten so comfortable in her seat and for an athlete Jayden was rather lazy, her mind opposed to the idea of actually leaving the seat. Once they arrived at Johannes' house, a slight groan left Jayden's mouth as she forced herself up and collected her belongings from the car. "Girl, I most definitely would stay with you, but I sorta have an appointment that I can't miss" she said, sending a quick wink to Sasha. She said a quick goodbye to Sasha and Spencer, commencing the search for Johannes.

What should've been a quick walk, as Jayden already knew the in's and out's of the house, was delayed due to Jayden having to will herself from stopping to talk to so many people. She'd spotted Cyrus and Mari on her way and was so ready to stop and say hi to the two, but her mind wandered to the boy she was supposed to be looking for and quickly redirected her back on the search. After continuous efforts of finding him to no avail, Jayden was ready to put the surprise on the back burner and shoot the boy a text asking where he was. It was only a few moments before she was going to press send that she saw the boy sitting outside, with a joint in hand. "Of course that's where he was" she thought, rolling her eyes at her stupidity and started her stride towards him.

"Guess who" she said in a sing along tone, her hands covering his eyes from behind. Her excitement was welling up inside and she didn't even wait for his response before sliding on his lap, and engulfing him in a tight hug. "I missed you" she muttered into his chest, her eyes closed for a while before she slowly opened them and looked up to him. Pulling the joint out of his hand and placing it in an ash tray nearby, she positioned her body so she was sitting sideways on his lap instead. Her nose scrunched up at the smell of weed, and she could smell the faint smell of alcohol mixed with cologne on his body. Jayden and alcohol was always fine, a bad pair since she was a wild drunk, but nevertheless fine. The one thing she never understood was the desire to smoke weed and the smell was most definitely not alluring in her opinion. "You need to calm down, the party literally just started" she stated, lightly scolding the boy with her eyes trained on his.

Thankfully Jordan didn't take offense at the idea that she'd be the better bodyguard of the two. There had been times at the very beginning, where they were still trying to figure the other out while maintaining a closed off attitude where they hadn't quite copped the others sense of humour and had taken offense at something the other had said. But they were over that by now. "Maybe I do Mr Westbrook." She shrugged with a small, but genuine smile, a rare occurence on her face. Her usual resting expression was closed off. Only friends could draw out a proper smile from her.

She eyed him up. Jordan was a good bit taller than her, with more weight and a different build to her. Anya was tall for a female, with a build of an endurance runner it a swimmer. But she had muscle to back up her next claim, and certainly a wide variety of skills. "But I reckon I could take you in a fight. Not that it will ever come to that, you're far to much of a cool person in my books."

Harry took the cold can with a smile "that's probably the only useful thing I'll do tonight." She replied, cracking the can open. Anya saw the crowbar stowed in the bag and couldn't help but broaden her smile. Only Jordan would bring a crowbar to a party, whether it was for actually fixing his bike or fending away drunks was another thing altogether. "Though I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of that crowbar, I like my ribs intact." She nodded when Jordan went off to get her drink. Anya was going to make it last.

The redhead took a slug of her beer. "Still not convinced about these parties, don't see what's so great about them." Anya nodded. "Same here, but this one seems to be going..okay.... I dont want to jinx it though." Anya replied, casting her eyes around the room, where they fell on the massive pile of boxes. Free food, now that was more like it. "I'm gonna get some pizza, you want anything?" Harry considered for a moment before responding. "Something with a load of meat on it." "Gotcha."

Any wound herself through the crowd of teenagers, making her way determinedly towards the puzaa. She paid little attention to the others there. She was aware of them arriving on an unconscious level, her brain filing this information away without needing to go to the effort of properly seeing them. Reaching the pizza table she saw Levi, with his arm around the pizza in a way that could only be described as territorial. She could kind of relate in a way, not wanting to share her food with anybody. Though she suspected with Levi it wasn't territorial in a human way it was something else. She was pretty certain Levi was not entirely human, but that didn't bother her. He'd never done anything that warranted her further looking into it. "Well you may not be talking to me, but I'm not turning down free food." She said, grabbing some slices from one of the open pizza boxes.

Levi grinned, "RIGHT?" Even though the one arm didn't move from the box he had claimed as his own. "Free foods the bests foods." He gestured toward the many other pizza boxes, "Lots of choices, too. I's feel bads though for those who eats and goes swimming afore it settles." He took another bite, cheeks puffed out with it, but at least he kept his mouth closed when chewing.

Legs continued to swing and he showed no signs of feeling the need to get off the island countertop. Soon as the bite was chewed though, he gave Clarissa a bit of a head nod. "Yous gonna go swimming? Be sure you wait half an hour. The stomach cramps are reals." He loved swimming, but not in pools. Too many bodies in this one to even try to get in a good lap, so not worth the effort. Levi didn't mind striking up a conversation when there was one to be had, though he wasn't sure he was ever formally introduced like.

Levi finished the slice of pizza, and then made sure to wipe his hand thoroughly. Then he struck it out in a friendly handshake as he grinned. "I'm Levi. I's seen you around school some last year I thinks. Clarissa, right?" Levi did a lot of people watching as he ate his lunch, often while perched on the branch of the courtyard tree. Some teachers got after him for it, but most didn't even see his legs hanging down. Probably on account of how short they were, but Levi liked to think it was because of the nice foliage of the leaves.

Levi liked to think a lot of things.

Anya hadn't been sure if Levi would respond or not, but was glad when he did and sounded so enthusiastic about it. She'd never really had cause to talk to him in school before, being in different years for a start. But right now he sounded genuinly happy with himself, like the cat that got the cream and she found herself willing to talk more (which wasn't a thing that happened often with new people). "I totally agree, and intend to take full advantage of the choice." As she spoke she grabbed a pizza box containing half a meat feast (for Harry) then added in a variety of other slices, some Hawiian, something exciting with chilli peppers and even, on a whim decided to get a few slices of Jordan's favourite.

She leaned against the countertop, pizza box balenced in one hand, she wasn't too close to Levi, respecting his personal space and all, but close enough that to anybody giving a casual glance over it was clear that they were talking to one another. She took out a slice with her other hand and bit into it, it was good pizza, hot, plenty of cheese and very generous toppings. Anya shook her head. "Nope, not here or tonight, too many people for it to be fun or to get some proper laps in. And yes, those cramps are hell." Anya was a strong swimmer, she enjoyed the freedom it offered from everything else. She'd also been trained in lifesaving techniques for both pools, rivers and sea and knew full well the dangers of swimming and cramping up.

Finishing her slice, Anya swapped the pizza box from one hand to the other, then shook Levi's hand. Her grip was firm, but not overly so. "That's me alright- Clarissa Meyers to give a full name." Even after doing it almost every day for the past few years, Anya still felt a slight twinge of discomfort lying about something as basic as her name. "Senior now. I've seen you around school too. You're sometimes up the tree in the courtyard yeah?"

Levi let out a chuff of a laugh, gesturing to Clarissa and then himself when she talked about the pool being too full to even get a lap in. "You. Me. Same." Another chuff and a bigger grin before he took the time to fish out another slice of pizza, securing the rest of the box under his free hand. Totally his pizza.

As for the seeing him in the courtyard tree, his nose scrunched up with the ear to ear grin. "Yeah, totes me. I likes the higher 'vantage point sometimes. Gets to see a lot when peeps ain't thinking they's being watched." There was a wraggling of his eyebrows, as if he knew others' secrets. Which, he didn't, unless one counted all the little side flirting secrets, or answers to class tests being passed around. Okay, maybe he knew a few.

"I's shoulda been a Junior this year, but that English teacher ain't one to allow extra credit. Like.. even when I's was working hards, and asking for extra creds, nope. Stickler for using jus' the exams for the whole grade. And essays. I ain't too good on thems. And.." He leaned forward just a bit, as if he was revealing a secret of all secrets. "If'n ya can't tells, I ain't one to be speaking proper like. They didn't care fer that none eithers." He leaned back, chuffing and lifting his shoulders in a shrug.

"It is what it is, right? I mean.. I's gots a tutor, and my wrights been bettering. So.. Long as I gets better, in the ends, it's all goods." Apparently, Levi could be quite the chatterbox when given the chance.

Anya wasn't sure how he'd take to have being spotted in his 'perch' as he was clearly up there so people wouldn't know he was there. But Levi took it surprisingly well in her opinion, with what she was quickly realising was his trademark energy and enthusiasm. She took another large bite of he pizza as he spoke, nodding where appropriate. She mentally filed away the fact that Levi could be somebody who might see something supernatural in this place.... nope. Anya wasn't going to go there. She was out of that life, if there was a resurgence it wasn't her problem anymore. "Don't doubt that, the roof would also give a good view, but less covering, plus some teachers would no doubt flip if somebody went up there." There was a sort of light in her eyes that suggested the danger of such a thing might appeal to her.

Anya raised an eyebrow ever so slightly when Levi admitted to being held back and having to repeat a year. Her interest must have acted as a prompt as Levi continued talking. Or maybe it was just that being held back wasn't a big shameful secret for him. She knew the teacher Levi spoke of, she'd had them when she first came to Beacon Hills High. Levi was right, they was an absaloute stickler to the belief that it all comes down to the exams. "I know the one, utter pain." She waved the piece of pizza as if it would help her argue her point. When Levi leant in, she leant in too, he'd dropped his voice slightly and with the atrocious party music suddenly deciding to increase by a couple of million decibels (or so it felt like to her). "Didn't like me either, too much of a wild card" She shrugged.

Anya nodded at the next remark. It was what it was all right. You were dealt a hand in life and you played it. Her hand was an oddity, her life description sounding like something out of a novel or bad movie- a teenage ex-hunter, who'd cut all ties with her family and old life, dead brother whose death she was responsible for and nothing but two birds, a motorbike, some money and a lot of mystery to her name. "Yep" she gave a curt nod of her head "you work with what you got and then some. Doesn't matter what you speak like really, they aren't testing that in an exam. As long as you can spout enough stuff that makes some kind of sense on the paper it's fine." English wasn't Anya's favourite subject, and the dislike if the subject showed on her face. She didn't mind the reading, but it was the interpretive stuff that just annoyed her- how was analysing poetry a useful life skill? She prefered a subject with clear-cut answers, like maths or a subject where she could work with her hands like the mechanics shop.

Levi's green eyes went wide, his expression took on a small level of relief when it was clear Clarissa also agreed. "Rights? Like, I's the first one to admits, I ain't ever gonna be a polly-tition, or be in any debatings clubs. I knows my limits, mores or less. Speaking ain't one of my strengths. Climbing is. Wrights.. well.. I's working on that. Isaac.." Levi leaned a little to the side to check on his friend, chuffing softly when it was clear Isaac was still wherever Isaac went sometimes.

"Well, when he's able to, he's been helpings me with the wrights. And mebbe, jussssss mebbe, they'll has a different teacher this year. Prollys not, I know. High fla-luting thinking there, but hey, even cats can dream." Levi had taken a bit of the pizza, so it took a moment for him to chew enough to be able to talk. He kept his hand in front of his mouth, so it wasn't rude, as he quickly added, "Yanno, cool cats like me!" Yeah, that was smooth, right?

Legs had stopped swinging for a moment, and Levi glanced away, as if to take stock of how the party was, or how many people were around to have heard. He must be in a really, really good mood. Which was a nice change from how most of the summer went, but this was super chatty. Dangerous levels of chatty. Levi was only ever this chatty around Kennith and Isaac. Then again, it was usually only Kennith, and Isaac who he hung with lately. And even they didn't know about... stuff.

When it felt like enough time had passed for the casual comment to be forgotten, legs began swinging again, eyes shifted back to Clarissa with a smile on the sheepish side of things. "What's about you? You's looking forwards to your last year of this school?"

This was shaping up to be an interesting evening after all, Anya was starting to fell like maybe, just maybe, leaving her cabin and coming to this party had been a good idea. She was finding talking to Levi quite enjoyable, He was a breath of fresh air compared to all the others in her school and at this party. He was different, one more ways than one. "Politics is overrated anyways." She told Levi with a small smile. "and debating just fancy arguing, don't see the attraction personally, but hey." Anya gave a shrug, while at the same time removing a strip of pepperoni from its lodgings between two of her teeth.

Then came the slip up. She noticed it straight away, the word was said so casually, so naturally and so comfortably that Levi's filter didn't catch it until it was too late- cat. Anya showed no outward reaction to that single word, but her brain had jumped forwards a couple of gears. So her suspicions had been right, Levi wasn't entirely human, a feline side came into it somewhere, whether it was a were-side or something else entirely wasn't clear. Maybe some of the old log books at the cabin might provide her with an answer? Or the Bestiary might have some kind of useful clue to just what exactly...... no. Anya shook her head slightly, trying to dislodge he train of thoughts. She was out of this. It was over. The supernatural business was not her business any more.

"I know what you mean. Cats are cool alright, considered getting one at one point, but didn't. I'm more of a bird person myself." Her two trained birds were another thing that had attracted strange looks when she first arrived. Very few fifteen year olds had trained hunting birds. They gave her an edge and provided a strange kind of companionship. They couldn't understand or empathise with her like a human could, but their presence was calming. Her Harris Hawk and Carrion Raven her most prized companions. oyle and Bodie weren't at the party tonight, she'd left them loose near the cabin for a night if hunting. They deserved a night off too after all.

Anya considered the next question her head tipping to one side, choosing her words carefully, her brown eyes narrowing slightly in thought before she shook her head and made eye contact with Levi again. "The short answer is yes and no. Yes because I actually like the work, keeps me busy and I get hang out with friends. But at the same time no, there's too many annoying people who I can just avoid over the holidays. And since it's the last year, I'm expected to have figured out what I want to do next life by the end of the year. Don't have a clue what I want to do with myself, but I guess I'll figure something out." She shrugged as if she hadn't spent hours agonising over the decision on what to do next. "You got any idea what you want to do with yourself after finishing school?"

Levi's head tilted slightly with the mention of being a bird person. "Oh there are some real pretty birds around here. I's like watching them in the mornings." He sometimes played with them, but didn't like to eat them, unless there wasn't anything else to eat for a while. With school coming back in session, he'd have one guaranteed meal a day, maybe two if he could get his ass to school in time for breakfast. Okay, more like get Kennith's ass up to walk to school in time to have breakfast, lawls.

Levi snoffled at the mention of too many annoying people. It was a half snort, half chuffing sound. "Yeah, some people just... too filled with that bad energy, and likes to bring others down with them." He liked spending most of his free time in that courtyard tree, so he could understand. His second slice done, Levi wiped his hands off before putting his weight on them as he leaned back on the counter. He was enjoying having a conversation with someone, even as he tried to mentally remind himself to not just ramble like he did earlier.

As for school and knowing what he wanted to do, another snoffle. "Nopes. I's just kinda focused on finishing school. Big enough of a thing." Legs swung slower, alternating now, right one, left one, rinse, repeat. He wound up watching his feet as he thought about it. "I ain't so sure I can keep on tryings if'n I get held back again. LIke.. Sophomore three times? Pfft pfft pfffffft!" Extra ffff on the last one. "I could prolly drop outs and gets that gee-eee-dee thing. I'd hates to do that though. Means Pa was right and schooling ain't for the likes of me." His voice dropped a little in volume, "And I'd hates for Pa to be rights." About more than just school.

Sasha smiled back with a wave, "It's cool I'll catch you around." She chimed before heading off to find the beer pong table. The night was still very young so she knew she'd get some time later to chat with her. Right now a different challenge was calling her name. It didn't take very long since there was loud cheers and groans and the popping sound of the ping-pong ball bouncing on the floor. She walked up smiling and giving a few high fives to some of her classmates she hadn't seen all summer.

Of course there were some of the "how are you"'s and "glad your ok"'s to give her obligatory "I'm fine, thanks" too. She wasn't bothered by it they were just trying to show they cared at least a bit about her well being after everything. It was just she was ready to put that whole thing behind her now, and forget about it and that's difficult to do when people keep bringing it up. She tried her best not to let it show and kept the smile painted on her lips. It wouldn't last long once the drinks start flowing and the ball starts flying it'll all be a thing of the past. At least for the night.

"So, who wants to be my partner? You already know it's going to be the winning side." She smirked placing her hands on her hips confidently. Everyone knew Sasha was one to always try to win no matter what the challenge was so she was a good bet.
