Fandom Avatar: Spirits Awaken

"My names Nami!" Nami says as she reaches out to shake Shin's hand. Then the doors open.

"Looks like it's time to go! Bye for now!" She says cheerfully before running out the door and giving a kick to a nearby guard in the face. She draws the moisture from the ground and sends a spout of water towards another guard, sending him flying backwards.

----------------------------

As soon as the doors opened, Chi ran out of the elevator. She stomped on the ground and caused a guard to fall by raising the ground slightly below him. She gives the fallen guard a kick to the was and notices Jeng in combat. He hit a guard in the jaw with a pillar of earth and stated something about the guard not being able to eat solid food for a while.

And he calls Shing too agressive. Atleast Shing didn't break the guards faces, he just gave them a small shock.

She looks over at Shing and sees a rock being hurled in his direction.

"Shing! Look out!" She yells at him as she stinks the ground, sending a pillar out of the ground that hits the stone ball, shattering it, just before it came into contact with Shing.

@jamaicanviking @Peaceswore @Samevi

Shin, standing by, ready for action while Shing was in the fray, noticed that a boulder had been thrown towards Shing, who was catching his breath. A pillar came out of the earth and smashed the boulder. Shing then returned a larger boulder to the earth bender who had tossed the first boulder at Shing. Despite the bender's efforts to stop the boulder, it wouldn't stop. It hit the bender and pushed him into the wall. Then, at Shin's will, it wrapped around him and tied him to the wall, disabling his arm movements and not allowing his feet to touch the ground, as he had lifted the man a few inches off the ground.

He quickly knocked out the bender he had just captivated by hitting him in the head with a rock, and then headed off, kicking and punching other earth benders, who had sloppily tried to use the Earth to their advantage, whether it be making stone armor or throwing a few small rocks. He had punched through it, no matter what it was. He stomped a man's head into the ground, hard enough to knock him out. After a bit, he bent himself into the ground and dragged a few fire benders down with him, leaving their heads just above the surface. He climbed out of the earth, prepared for more action.

As the elevator opened and the others rushed out, Opal was left with the battered firebender. The fighter let out a huff and motioned to the humanoid spirit. “Go find your Masked Man," She said before stepping out herself. She was able to watch the fight for a long moment, unnoticed by the group of guards. But one eventually caught sight of her and came, with a machete raised. Opal ducked his strikes over and over, working her way back towards a stone pillar while staying near the elevator. His strike burried the blade in the rock. Opal chopped him consisely in the throat and he doubled over, holding his throat. With one elbow striked down on his back, Opal floored him. She hurried back to the elevator, seeing another guard heading toward the man there.

(WELL THAT HAPPENED.)

Ina rolled her eyes and dashed to the left flank and on all fours began to run up the wall. Her glowing blue eyes sent a trail behind her as she began to make her way to a earth, water and fire bender. The earth bender began to pull the spikes out of the wall. Ina rapidly tried to doge many, moving up and down the wall with great speed. One spike appeared right in front of her face. She rapidly grabbed on and flipped around the spike. In one move she rebounded off the spike and attacked the fire bender. Claws sharp she dug into the man's back as he engulfed her in flames. She laughed maniacally and pierced through the bender's ribcage.

The fire bender screamed in agony. The earth bender shot several rocks at her hoping to connect with the spirit's head. Still engulfed in flames Ina laughed as she flipped over the fire bender, dodging the rocks. She flung the fire bender towards the water bender. She turned to the earth bender and waited for the flames to subside. "Next up..?" She charged towards the earth bender and smiled. The bender rose up a wall and pushed it against Ina she growled as she was crushed against the wall.

Riichi

Being thrown around like a burden wasn't what Riichi thought of as a pleasant time. He wasn't used to being out of a fight. Heck he was usually the one who started the fights. As the Avatar set him down Riichi's flaming ego began to fade. What had he become? A poor victim? A man who can't even stand up straight? A useless pile of bones? As the elevator doors opened Riichi fought to stand up and do his part. That was the least he could do to redeem himself, but unable to even stay on his feet for more than a couple of seconds without huffing and puffing, Riichi was left behind with the girl who by the looks of it wasn't even a bender. Great...I'm left with the other burden In the girl's defense she had a good attack strategy. Riichi laid on the floor observing the girl's moves, picking out everything that was wrong with her stance alone.

Engrossed in the girl, Riichi didn't notice the man approaching him until he was at arm's length. Startled by the guard's proximity, Riichi let his adrenaline drive him and worked out of instinct. He slid down on the floor until he was completely on his back. His torso ending up in between the guard's legs. Raising his hands above his head, Riichi took a deep breath in and shot fire from the palms of his hand propelling himself from underneath the guard and out of the elevator. Out of the man's reach he quickly stumbled to his feet and positioned himself for an unmatched fight. Head spinning and muscles still aching, Riichi stared the guard down until, to his secret relief, the girl made her appearance in the elevator once again. Not letting his feeble guard down, he prepared to follow the orders from the girl.

@Flutterby

Ryo

He wasn't familiar to this part of town. Much like his own rabbit hole, this place smelled like old sewage and month old left-overs. Ryo hid his face from the smell by pulling his trench coat even closer to him. It had only been a couple of days since his encounter with his old Tribe leader. Their meeting was anything but pleasant. The leader had delivered the news to Ryo that his sister fled to the spirit world and hadn't been heard from since. Although Ryo knew what fleeing to the spirit world meant, he had high hopes and a feeling in the pit of his stomach that his sister was okay, but he needed to find her before that feeling changed. Ryo had done his research. He spend every waking hour figuring out his way through the spirit world. He read books studied maps, but they were all useless once he was denied the entrance to the spirit portal. He tried to sneak up on the officers, but after the two new recruits, Kira and Ronon, took the place of Chief Officer Chen while she was away on her top secret mission (To find and arrest Akari), Republic City Security had been at it's finest. The spirit portal was blocked off and the attacks stopped before they even arrived to the city. The only way he would get into the spirit world and to his sister now was with the help of the Avatar.

He had stumbled across that idea since the beginning, but given that Ryo wasn't the biggest fan of the avatar, or that he wasn't even in Republic City to begin with, made him scrap the idea almost immediately. Ryo had already encountered the Avatar, and from what he remembered, he was better off without that spoiled immature child. At least that was before his plans failed. Now Ryo was in the non-bender part of the city searching once again for a way into the spirit world. His first instinct was to track the old man that was supposed to take him to the Southern Water Tribe a while back, but remembering his affiliations with the spirit smugglers, Ryo decided to try a new contact he had recently heard about. A man by the name of Kol. Kol was one of the most feared non-benders in Republic City. He was deep into the trafficking system and leader of at least two gangs. However, if anyone knew their way around the officers and in and out of the city, it was Kol. Personally Ryo wasn't afraid of him more than he was afraid of the spirits. Then again Ryo was a bender, so he had an advantage. As Ryo walked through the crumy streets passing by a nice-looking florist shop that seemed really out of place, he began to get an odd feeling that maybe this wasn't the right thing to do and that there was another way, but given that he was already knee deep into this mess, he decided to continue on forward.

@GasMaskie

(He's hiding in the rooftops so I wasn't sure if you wanted Li to be spotted, but Ryo's passing by so you can interact with him =] )

Ina roared as the earthbender tred to crush her again the wall. She slid her legs up against the wall to keep it from crushing her. She glared at the wall her eyes bright blue. Slowly she motioned her right hand toward one side of the wall and let the souls energy gather there. The wall to her back began to crack as she was slowly getting crushed. Suddenly, a wild burst of blue energy projected her from the wall and She charged the earth bender.

The bender surprised rose bolder after bolder against the girl. Ina charging up her soul in her right arm dodged and rolled over the bolders getting closer to the bender. The earthbender was getting worried so he created a rock armor to cover his body. He flung one song punch at Ina. In ducked down, her fave scratched by the fist, but nothing more than a scratch. She roared as she punched tight through the rock armor and set the bender ablaze from underneath it. He screamed as he roasted, the rock armor slowly falling apart. After a minute her grew quiet and fell to the floor.

She walked owe to the water bender who still was novked out and with a flick of her claw punctured his artery. He began to slowly bleed out onto the floor. She looked up and sniffed for the Masked Man, but the room was muddled with human blood and sweat. Filthy, this is why I despised wars and battle. She looked at the others. They seem to be trying to keep those humans alive.

Ina shook her head. The living are useless. She watched as two of the 3 souls were taken. The waterbender was the last one and it slowly formed as he slowly died. When he let out his last breath she smiled "the dead, are always helpful." She gently lifted the burning soul and stroked it. The soul settled and floated around her. She smiled and looked back at the others. She should help, shouldn't she?

The spirit have gone crazy and looking at how the Avatar and his friends slowly defeated his subordinate one by one things are definitely not looking good for The Masked Man.

He have started considering running away while they are busy fighting his subordinates but he cannot move his feet. The Masked Man feels confident with his ability and the plan that he had in mind.

He is a good earthbender, fighting inside a mine tunnel is his home base.

As she ran, Opal knew she wouldnt reach the weakened firebender in time. But to her surprise and admiration, he managed to rocket himself away and stand. Although he looked ready to fall over again, he held his ground as the man advanced again. He didnt appear to be a bender, but he was a massive beast. Opal skidded to Riichi's side, settling into her usual stance, on the balls of her feet. “Dont let him close. It would take one punch from that giant." She cautioned, just in time for the man to lunge forward with a fast right hook. She jumped forwad and diverted the punch with a slap, letting his momentum do most of the work. For the first time, Opal felt a little fear in a fight. But she didnt hesitate. “Now!" She called to Riichi as the man stumbled and turned to attack her. If the firebender could muster an attack, it'd make it a lot easier on her. She moved backward, almost in a dance step, looking for an opening.

@NessieAlways

Shin looked around for another enemy to face. He spotted the Masked Man, and, remembering him, was filled with hate. He noticed Ina charging at him, and he remembered the Masked Man's attacks. From what Shin could gather from that one fight, he had earth bending capabilities as well. To test this, Shin hurled his own boulder, which he turned into a sand-like substance, at the Masked Man, and then fought off a few more of the Masked Man's subordinates who were sneaking up on him while he was concentrating on the Masked Man.

The Masked Man entered his fighting position. He calmly (thought sweating behind his mask) spun his body around and throw a roundhouse kick, bending out a thick pillar of stone to hit the spirit mid air.

(ps: eh? you can't launch an attack without actually bend it?)

(Me? I'm still charging?)

Ina still running towards the man she intends to kill saw a large pillar head strait for her. Down! No up! Up! She quickly jumped high up and began to dash her way down the length of the pillar. "Don't think such tactics will work on me human!" The soul following beside her on her shoulder began to glow brightly as she got closer to the Masked Man. The soul began to scorch the top of the ceiling.

(ah i see sorry i misread it)

The Masked Man took several step back, preparing to launch another attack at the spirit when he noticed a sand like object being hurled at him. He quickly throw out his hand at the object, taking control of it and swung it at the charging spirit.

Ina saw the sand fly past her as she dell back to the ground still charging. Dammit I have this.... She suddenly noticed the sand stop for a moment. Still charging she looked at it confused. Huh? Then suddenly it hurled towards her she tried to avoid the attack. She slid down to the groundflipped around and on all fours began to try to dash back into the opposite direction. However it was a futile attempt she was hit by the sand and nearly thrown back. Her body bounced as she fell to the ground.

Ina looked up and glared at the Masked Man. "So you can sand bend too?" Slowly she staggered to her feet and spit out some sand. "Don't think this means you have me beat." She charged again this time running up the tunnels left wall. She was focused on the Masked Man.

Seeing how the Spirit started to have more trouble against him, The Masked Man intensifies his attack. He bend his body backward and spun it forward together with a punch, bending out small pillars out of the wall, ceiling, and the ground in attempt to stop the Spirit from moving closer into him and hit her.

"Thanks Chi." Shing said when he saw she saved him from getting knocked out. He watched as everyone took out their opponent and was impressed by the spirits brutality. 'Boy Jeng is going ot have a field day with her.' He thought before he saw she was charging what seemed to be like the head guy.

Since most of the subordinate had been beaten he set his eyes on the masked man. He sprinted at him using his flames to give him a huge speed boast. Every time a pillar was placed in front of him he was able to move out of the way. As he got closer he ran along the wall and took a deep breath. Then he shot blue flames from his mouth to the masked man. @too much idea

The Masked Man noticed the flame too late, but he is still in time to do something.

He quickly positioned his body and clap his arm hard, bending the dust and small particles around him to create a wind effect to blow out the dangerous fire out of the way (ps: this would look like an airbending move). The Masked Man continued by stomping his leg, bending a small cube out of the ground before kicking it toward the firebender

Ina dodged the pillars on the walls. Then one pillar shot underneath her body. She rebounded to the floor. Staying low she dashed through the maze of rising pillars. Staying low to the ground allowed her to see where the pillars would rise. her right hand was charged while on the left she pulled the spirit to her. She kept to the Masked Man left arm raised to rip out his jugular.

The Masked Man quickly stomp his left feet quickly to create a wall, then push it toward the spirit in a fast speed in order to push her away.

Ina was pushed back by the wall but she latched onto it and climbed over it. (Assuming it's not a ceiling to floor wall) As she hopped down she growled at him "Did you really think that would stop me! I'll rip out your heart!" She dashed towards him again raising her left claw high to rip out his eyes. She planned on making sure she would come in come in contact with him. All I need is one shot!

The Blue Spirit continued to scan the streets below him. It was a slow night, by now he would have at least come across a petty criminal or two. As he prepared to descend down to street-level he caught sight of a long-haired man passing by The Stonebound Lily.

There was something suspicious about the man, perhaps it was the way he walked through this part of town or the trench coat. Li adjusted the blue mask as he watched the man pass the flower shop. There wasn't a point to confronting him right now - he was doing nothing wrong. Still, it might be beneficial to shadow him in case he tried to pull something.

The vigilante leaned towards the next building and began to swing his rope dart around above his head. He extended his arm slightly, letting the metal spike fly through the air and cross the gap between the two buildings. It pierced through a brick. The Blue Spirit tugged once on the rope to ensure that it was stable before leaping off and swinging to the next building. He brought his legs up to his chest and cushioned the impact. After a momentary glance at the mysterious man he ran up the length of his rope dart and stood on the curved roof of the adjacent building.

Shing raised his arms in defense as the cube smashed against his forearms and made him crash against the wall. He slid down coughing and slightly confused. "Two bending? H-How?" He asked as he stood up and shook his head. "Doesn't matter." He muttered as he got up and took his stance. He concentrated and moved his arms in a circular motion gathering as many electric particles as he could. When he had enough he shot lightning at the Masked Man. The voltage was enough to seriously damage the guy maybe even kill him, but Shing didn't care in the slightest. @too much idea

The Masked Man could easily defend from that attacking using his earthbending, but he have a better idea.

Using his dustbending, he bend dust to create a strong gust of wind and push the wild Spirit in front of the lightning.

Ina was pushed by the wind over. She turnedand looked a the crackling that hit against her.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!"

She screamed as the lighting struck her body. She fell to the ground her body limp. She made it to her knees and the two sous pulled out from her body. She was breathing heavily, that lightning really hurt her. This is worse than I expected, I swear these humans intend to kill me. This is why I work alone. She growled and slowly stood back up. "Humans....." She leaned back to look at Shing and glared. Then turned back to the Masked Man and laughed "sneaky move. I applaud you, buy I won't die until you do." She charged at him with her eyes a glowing yellow.

Shing's eyes widened when the spirit got hit by his lightning. He tried to bend it away, however it was to late and it stuck her. At first he worried he may have actually killed her, but luckily she was really freaken tough. He let out a sigh of relief before clenching his fist and running forward he was getting tired and knew he need to end this soon or he may be to exhausted to help out.

He placed flames at his feet and ran along the wall dodging his pillars almost getting hit by one but still managed to avoid it. When he was directly next to the Masked Man he did a sudden turn and charged straight for him. He ignited one hand with as much blue fire as he could muster before sending the punch aiming at the mans face. @too much idea
