-Slightly faulty Oxygen Converter
-Small "green house" area
-Faulty Energy reactor
-(Slightly Leaky) Water recycling system
-

Weakness
Deficiency:
Everything. The ship is parts away from going down in flames. I requires constant attention to stay alive.

Background

IK-37 was created by a group of unsatisfied citizens, with connections to people in good jobs which then became the leaders and guides of the ship. The unsatisfied citizens didn't like how the governments were doing things, or all the fighting, so they decided to make their own space colony. A unanimous decision was made that they would sent enough adults (and young adults) to keep the colony running well, and then send up all their kids because, kids are the future after all right? What could go wrong

Apparently a lot.

They have a fine working oxygen producer, but they get most of their oxygen from their hydroponics farm
They also have a small hydrogen producer
Weakness
Deficiency:
They have no researched lab
Their power system is failing and soon won’t be able to supply the station
They are fanatics who refuse to turn over the station, but they are also pacifist so they would rather kill themselves then give the station
They will not use robotics or cloning

Background

Coming from the illuminations a violent religious group back on earth. Around 40 years ago their prophet untied them and took them into space, most of the ships were stolen or taken by force except the dome which was made on earth and is the one were the prophet flew to space with, while they were in space, he reformed the religion to one of pacifism, it has only been 10 years since his death, luckily before his death he wrote how they should pick his successor. Now the neo-illuminations are trying to turn their space station into a colony ship as it was his last degree.

Leaders/Guides: central consensus (a system of multiple super computers)

Sanctuary Type station “Mobil drone construction yard
Government Type : central consensus

Population 50 cyborg staff 400 “drones” 40 functioning assault bots

Important Assets: extensive advanced manufacturing bays some, most lacking resources but if given yields powerful weapons or robotic assistance, extensive cybernetics, “drone” bays

Strength

Manpower 400 drones 30 pristine assault bots 10 damaged assault bots

Life Preservation Capabilities Small hydroponics bay to feed cyborg population although it’s minimal thanks to augmentations, function life support

1573815779675.jpeg Assault bot scythe class oblivion

Weakness

Deficiency: the station lacks resources having to make do with recycling what little they have and maintain what little they have function in Essence there very much scavengers and slow ones at that

Background

The reaper used to be a large orbital military complex designed and lunched during the world war to drop assault bots onto any target its ability to destroy was legendary then.... resources stoped coming and the AI that governed operations decided that all staff would submit to augmentation to extend there life span, all did so after many years the robots begin to fall out of maintence the cyborg crew no longer able to repair them.. so the dead where used, corpse fitted with limited robotics allowing them to carry out functions using the much cheaper corpse as a frame and the reactivated brain as a cpu becoming drones first drones eventually Central consensus would convert a entire manufacturing bay into a bay designed to make these drones, the reaper got its name for how it would show up to take away the dead of other stations then disappear into the void none knowing why

Age: 102

Extra: Noah hasn’t been photographed in over three decades, but he’s still clinging onto life, just barely. He requires an oxygen tank and is wheelchair bound, unlike what the picture shows.

Age: 56

Extra: Jacqueline has no malicious intent under her loyalty to Noah. She is his voice and face in the shuttle, and will do whatever he instructs her to do. She is like the president of Noah’s Ark when it comes to business. When Noah will inevitably pass away, though…

Age: 28

Extra: The youngest a council member has ever been in its history, Ezra was the first to learn the ship’s controls. He’s a brilliant, kind man, and prefers to stay away from politics. When his father suddenly passed away, there was no time between finding a new Head Navigator for the ship, as it was a unanimous decision for him to take his father’s mantle.

Age: 42

Extra: The peacekeeping force in Noah’s Ark is rarely used, mostly due to the rich people’s respect for one another, but if anyone steps out of line, laser-shooting drones will funnel out of their respective buildings and arrest the perpetrator. Hester doesn’t need to do much, so she’s usually seen with the Head of Warfare.

Age: 52

Extra: Allen has kept her youth due to a personal project of hers, which she’d rather not share with even Noah. She spearheaded the construction of Noah’s Ark, and works on ways to improve their lives on board or upgrade the ship. She’s often been mistaken as a boy.

Age: 65

Extra: The one who stands out the most in the council would be Yakov Yablonsky, a Russian. As you can probably tell from his position, he’s always trying to find new and inventive ways to kill people defend Noah’s Ark.

Age: 44

Extra: Alastair is the nicest of the council alongside Allen and Ezra. Born in Britain, he worked his way up from the middle-class to the likes of the Royal family. Then he went above their status, joining Noah’s Ark. He never brags about his position, though, always caring for others first. He can be usually found flirting with Allen.

Age: About as long as the ship has existed

Extra: KAI doesn’t stand for anything in particular; Allen named her After her pet parakeet. KAI monitors the ship’s status and supplies. She also manages the factories, meat-growing labs, food sources, pretty much everything aside from navigating the ship. Should anything go wrong with the AI, Allen will be there to deliver a hard restart.

Sanctuary Type: Spaceship
Image result for unsc infinity
Credit: Halo 4's UNSC Infinity

Government Type: Oligarchy

Population: ~500

Important Assets: Advanced AI, futuristic tech, comfortable lifestyle, brilliant minds, self-sustaining resources, and ever-improving features.

Strength

Movement Capabilities: Adjustable Thrusters

Defense Capabilities: Forcefield, invisibility cloak, and worst case scenario, they let Yakov out into the battlefield.

Manpower: Not too many, as all of the population are billionaires who choose to not get their hands dirty. Yakov has made do with three men in the past, and with their advanced weaponry can put up a decent fight.

Life Preservation Capabilities: Allen has created meat-growing facilities and a self-sustainable food source run by KAI. It's existed for many years, but Noah's Ark (the group) kept it a secret from the public for their own benefit. Basically, everyone's past the fear of disaster that they've started to focus more on recreation.

Weakness
Deficiency: Good offensive capabilities. Aside from Yakov, of course.

Background
Corporate billionaires. Financial giants. The richest of the rich. Names everyone’s heard of. Every year, they attend a secret gathering on a remote island in the middle of the ocean. There, they discussed politics to money-making schemes such as climate change denial, anything to keep its five heads the richest of all. They're all names you may be familiar with, but none you ever suspected to be part of the "Illuminati" organization known as Noah's Ark, founded by a trillionaire energy CEO named Noah Beaumont.

In case of a world-ending event, the council pooled their resources to create a giant space station, fitting all who were invited. They said if it ever were to occur, but they really just wanted an excuse to spend money. After it was approved by Chairman Noah, they uncreatively named it Noah's Ark. Decades passed, and the heads grew old and retired, letting their younger heirs take their place. Noah no longer appeared at the meetings due to age, but all power was still belonging to him. Now, he sent a brilliant woman as his spokesperson. Her name was Jacqueline Bennett.

Now the world is coming to an end, and the space shuttle is being fueled. Every millionaire and billionaire invited were funneled inside. It was there that Noah finally appeared once again, wheelchair-bound with nasal cannula running through his nostrils. Even inside the spacecraft, Noah is the famous recluse. He never showed himself again, and has had his loyal spokesperson carry out his orders as captain. The council have assigned themselves roles of a government. The rich persons' achievements and inventions were carried on board, and their scientists and technicians are always finding new ways to improve their already posh lives.

Shǎndiàn Station

Details

Leaders/Guides:

View attachment 647879
Pictured here at age 45. Worked in Human Resources back on Earth before transferring up during Phase III in 2132. Served as executive assistant to Ming Chun-chieh from 2138 until his death in 2150. Currently serves as Director aboard the station.

View attachment 648145
Pictured here at age 56. Served as a supply officer in the Taiwanese military before mustering out in 2126. Employed by Ming Chun-chieh as Quartermaster of the ship during Phase II construction. Promoted to Station Manager upon the death of previous head of personnel.

Sanctuary Type: Mining Station

Government Type: Directorate

Population: 346 souls

Important Assets:

Four mining shuttles which can carry 26 people each (2 pilots and 24 passengers).

One 60 meter mining barge which can carry over 100 people and 8,000 cubic feet of raw materials.

One large space station which can carry over 800 people.

Strength

Movement Capabilities: Ion drive with magnesium propellant. The Shǎndiàn can maintain a controlled burn for several days before recharging. Individual travel via jump packs can carry a man 50 km/hr (independent of on-orbit velocity). Pretty much all of this is powered by the sun with backup batteries.

Defense Capabilities:

Jumpers - Mostly miners with plasma tools.
Prototype railgun - Never fired.

Manpower:

247 adult miners with 178 operational jump packs, 230 plasma cutters (incidentally can serve like a chainsaw) and 34 diamond drills.

34 cargo techs who are virtually defenseless. They would probably have to share a few stun sticks from security.

17 security officers with coil guns. They're basically semi-auto rifles powered by a 12 volt battery.

28 support staff who are also mostly defenseless. A few of the higher-ups would carry a sidearm.

The rest are children under 16 years of age.

Life Preservation Capabilities:

They have a fairly extensive black light greenhouse. However, they're having to drill for most of their water.

Their main life support system converts ice to water and water to oxygen. Their secondary life support system splits molecules from ultraviolet light to form oxygen, and a number of atmospheric generators make potable water but in very limited quantities.

Weakness

Deficiency:

Water -
miners have to drill on the far side of the Moon and transport ice deposits back to the station.

Oxygen - As a result of lacking water, the station has resorted to splitting CO2 molecules with ultraviolet light. However, only a small portion is converted to O2.

Maintenance - they simply dont have the fabricators to repair most of their equipment. Over the past two decades, about 20% of their excavation tools have quit functioning.

Station Integrity - About a quarter of the station suffered extensive damage from fires. While it was contained, most of this area remains unusable.

Background

2118

Taiwanese industrial tycoon Ming Chun-chieh, who held a 60% stake in the world's largest solar power company, funded his own space station dubbed Shǎndiàn or "Lightning".

Construction eclipsed 18 years and was far from finished when the Collapse began. Nearly 600 people took flight along with various construction modules during Phases I, II and III. A planned fourth phase was abruptly aborted when the bombs fell.

2136

The phase IV construction module, which would have housed an engineering bay, was incinerated from nuclear impacts at Taroko National Park. 168 transfer crew were also caught in the blast.

2141

The crew of the Shǎndiàn began extending its presence on the Moon, digging for magnesium and ice. Magnesium served as a sufficient propellant for the station's engines while the ice deposits supported life systems.

2150

A great fire, believed to have been caused by a lithium-ion explosion, trapped over 200 people in multiple compartments. Chun-chieh was among the victims.

His executive assistant, Emelia Jissard, swiftly jumped on the comms and declared herself acting director.
