Apocalyptic Wonder
Hey there! I've delved into some really weird places the last few weeks and decided to create a setting I've not seen anywhere off of a tabletop.
A Dieselpunk Lovecraftian terror set in a Mega-City under the control of a Totalitarian Regime.
Blood and Oil
Apocryphis, a City of ruin.
A place full of the forgotten, the restless and the devout.
Henry Abbot had chosen this city thinking it'd be full of opportunities to increase his research into arts that'd probably see him crucified on a wall of some misbegotten church, alas things never do go as planned. Having picked up an Unwitting aide before even entering the city the Scholar finds himself quickly at the end of a gun barrel as his Books on the mysteries of the Divines were pieced out by a Oracle of the Dawn and swiftly shoved into the back of an Automobile alongside his heavily regretful 'Aide'.
Though luck would have it their tenure in prison would never come to fruition as the two managed to slip away into the night during a commotion with a riot, heading towards the wall and into the slums as the Military Police quickly lost them within the crowds of the cramped alleys.
Henry figured he'd have to live up to the Abbot name sooner rather than later and it could never be said that an Abbot didn't try to profit from some madness.
A Basic synopsis for what I've got in mind, I'm actively fleshing out the Entities and Deities of the world and the mechanics therein behind it.
