Jaxon Carter
Jaxon was running late, it certainly wasn't because he had decided last minute that arriving in one of his normal work suits would scare Milo away. No, it had nothing to do with the fact that he couldn't decide what to wear on this date. He felt like he was sweating bullets. He was beyond excited about finally meeting Milo face to face, but there was a whole other pressure with that. Once Milo saw him, would he actually like him? Would he be able to keep his cool in front of this man he had sought comfort from through emails and texts? He pulled into the parking lot, looking at himself in the mirror of his Alfa Romeo Giulia. He cleared his throat, staring at himself for a moment longer before stepping out of the car. He could do this! If he had to, he could treat it like a company meeting! He smirked, "This will be easy! Nothing to fret over...I'm not super late." He muttered to himself before heading for the door of the cafe and entering.
Milido. Milido.

Milo Miller
Milo saw the tall man enter and looked at him then the phone, "I hope he's okay." He said under his breath. His heart was racing and his body was heating up in his hoodie he wore under his short sleaved shirt. Milo put his hands under the table and started fidgeting with them, almost like a child not being able to maintain his excitement. This was the first time he'd actually be on a date. Milo waited for Jaxon while he was in his thoughts, "What if he doesn't like me?" He said to himself as he awaited the man. He put his hands through his white hair and sweat was coming down his face, his pale skin turning red.

His smirk fell to a normal smile, now that he felt at least a bit more comfortable. This was the first time he was willing going on a date and he really hoped he wouldn't disappoint Milo. He caught sight of Milo and his smile grew, his white hair standing out among everyone else in the cafe. He moved passed others before stopping next to the table, "Milo." His voice with almost a mere whisper as he uttered Milo's name. He wasn't sure if it was due to nervousness or excitement to finally have Milo in front of him. "You didn't wait too long, did you? Sorry, I got stuck...in traffic." He mentally slapped himself for giving such a lame excuse. It was the most common excuse ever used in existence. But he supposed saying he didn't know what to wear would have made him look like a fool.

Milo Miller
He jolted up from his phone and looked up and smiled, "Hey, and no I just got here myself." He said rubbing his neck, "How're you?" Milo put his elbows on the table to support his head, he thought Jaxon would leave as soon as he saw him. Him being an expert on excuses he smiled and thought it was kind of cute that he made an excuse.

"I'm good. How are you? I-if you like we can order. I'll buy and then we can sit down and chat for a bit." Jaxon hoped Milo couldn't see how nervous he was about this. He had just stumbled over himself and that never happened! He tried thinking about this being a business meeting but he just couldn't Milo was adorable and gorgeous. He noticed the faint red tint on Milo's face and felt a bit better, at least he wasn't the only one nervous. He could imagine Milo blushing, it giving his face a wonderful color. It made Jaxon blush, he was getting way ahead of himself right now!

Milo thought for a bit and smiled, "I'm great thanks! And sure. I would like a chocolate covered donut and tea." He said smiling sweetly and brushing through his hair with his hands. Milo never thought he'd have a favorite day, but here it is. He kind of observed his surroundings and looked at the figure he was meeting up with, muscular, tall, brown hair, brown eyes, well-educated... Maybe? He laughed at the thought of Jaxon not being educated but a CEO.

His eyes followed Milo's movements and when he began to laugh, it melted his heart. How could anyone be so...perfect? "The chocolate-covered donut sounds amazing, so I'll get a few to munch on as we please. Though I think I'll go with a coffee with French vanilla creamer. I'll go order that and be right back." Jaxon barely functioned without his French vanilla coffee. His father once joked asking him if he just wanted the bottle of creamer to drink instead of the coffee. He turned to go place their order at the front of the store, he was a regular there because their coffee was the best. "Welcome back Mister Carter! I see you've brought some fine-looking company with you today." The girl said with a giggle and it made Jaxon smirk, "Fine indeed." Though he blushed as the words left his mouth before he could stop them. The girl held a knowing look then and there a smirk of her own crossing her lips, "How adorable...the hot ones are always taken..." Now his face was in flames, "I...we...um..." She laughed a bit more, "I'll bring your order once it's done. Go have fun and your secret is safe with me."

Milo Miller And Mochi
Milo saw them laughing and smiled wondering all of the things they could be laughing at. He got a message from his sister, Mochi that read, "Hope you're having fun. When you're done. Tell me EVERYTHING!" Milo chuckled at the facial expression that came in his imagination "Why are you like this? Alright you, Otter." He turned his phone off and waited for Jaxon to come back to the table, how could he get someone like that he thought? He blushed at the thought of Jaxon picking him. Jaxon was nice and comforting, his voice, his messages, his love. Everything about him, Milo loved.

He fanned himself slightly, before heading back to the table with their donuts. He set it down, "She said she'd have fresh tea made here in a minute and then bring our drinks for now we can enjoy our donuts." The was still a faint blush covering his face, his ears feeling a bit warm. "I'm a regular here, which is why I suggested this place. It's nice and I wanted our first meeting to be comfortable." He felt sort like he was rambling.

Milo Miller
He listened carefully and nodded, "I understand, and it's cozy. I will definitely come here more." He says picking up a donut. It was warm and he put it in his mouth. He almost turned into a baby, his eyes big, and a smile coming from his face, "It's so good." He'd never taste a donut like that before. He kind of felt special as he covered himself in a delusion that it was only good for him. He chewed slowly making sure not to leave any big chunks. "I'm definitely making this my new go-to spot." He chuckled

Jaxon Carter & Erica Beckley(Cafe Owner)
Jaxon smiled as Milo praised the donut and stated he'd make this place his go-to. That meant their chances of meeting up would be even higher. He could certainly get addicted to this. "Glad to hear that. Just wait till you get your tea. I'm not big on tea, but I've had it here before and it's pretty good. I'm more of a coffee kind of guy." As he spoke the woman he was talking to before set their drinks down, "Coffee guy indeed, if I didn't tell you to eat a parstery here and there you probably would have lived off our coffee alone." She turned her eyes to Milo, "You got to keep an eye on this boy, he forgets to take care of himself when it comes to meals. I'll be counting on your patronage in the future!" She said with a wink before leaving them alone once again. Jaxon blushed slightly, "She's the owner of the cafe, a sweet, but sharp woman. Also, sometimes forgets to mind her own space...."

Milo Miller and Mochi

Milo had giggled and as he listened to the woman he nodded.
"Alright I see. I'll make sure to take good care of him." He took care of a lot of people. His thoughts were about the donut and Jaxon. Milo took his drink and sipped it, "Well, coffee is good too! But I'd do too much on the sugar." Milo turned his phone on and had a lot of messages. "Ah... My sister is coming..." He said sighing and as he put his cup down and a girl with short white hair as Milo walked in the shop. She was basically wearing the same thing as he did. Mochi walked towards Jaxon and Milo, "Oh god. I thought you were in danger. Now is this the Jaxon you were talking about?" She said ruffing up Milo's hair, "Yes, Otter, it is. Meet Jaxon." He looked at Jaxon with sorry eyes, Mochi smiled and put her elbow on his head.

Jaxon Carter
He was a bit surprised when someone looking similar to Milo came in. "It's nice to meet you. Though I hope you know, I'd never put Milo in harm's way. Would you...care to join us? We have plenty of chocolate donuts and if you'd like a drink it'll be on my tab." Jaxon said trying to remain as calm as possible. He hadn't anticipated meeting any of Jaxon's family just yet. Though he had to admit he was glad to see someone who cared about him a great deal. Milo must have told her about his meeting, with well a possible stranger. He smiled as he watched the two of them, thinking about his younger brother.

Milo Miller and Mochi Miller

Mochi kept poking Milo, "Oh no. I just got worried That's all. I'll be leaving soon. Text me when you get to your apartment. And make sure you eat healthy tonight." She says leaving. He sighed and put his head down, "Oh god." He looked at Jaxon, "Sorry 'bout 'er she's protective." He loved her with all of his heart. He kissed the cup and then sipped it. "Ah, do you have any siblings? I have like 3." He said grabbing another donut.

Jaxon Carter
He watched her leave and nodded, "It's fine. If my younger brother said he was meeting up with someone he only ever talked to online. I'd been worried too." He took a sip of his coffee, enjoying the flavor for a moment before continuing. "I've got two siblings, and older sister and then as mentioned, a little brother. He actually lives with me."

Milo Miller

He looked at him and thought for a bit,
"I wish my siblings lived with me, specially little Maria." He said holding his cup with both hands. His step-father and his mother had a little child only 3 years ago, and Milo and her were basically like twins except she had light brown hair, "Hm, you never told me your occupation." He said curiously.

Jaxon Carter
He nodded, "About that...well I was just working as a normal employee at RaveHeart Company. But recently and unfortunately I had to quit being a simple employee and take over for my father as the new CEO. That was sort of why I suddenly went so silent on you. Also why I asked if we could meet up in person." He took another drink of his coffee before sighing. "I'm going to be a lot busier from here on out. So I may not be able to send you messages like I did before. And it could honestly be because I'm exhausted." He ran a hand through his hair, "I guess....I just wanted to meet you before I got too busy. I didn't want you to think I was bored or tired of you."

Milo Miller

Milo listened carefully,
"Alright. I understand." He ate another donut and drank his tea. "It'd be nice if we could meet another time soon." He thought about his work, "I'll miss you." He said smiling softly, "I hope you have a good time at work." He looked at him with soft eyes and finished his tea, he'd look at the time, "Ooh." He says resting his head on his hands.

Jaxon Carter
He couldn't help but blush faintly when Milo said he'd miss him and that he hoped they'd meet up again soon. "I'll miss you as well. I'll do my best to at least send you good morning and good night texts though." He drank some more of his coffee Milo glanced at the time. "Ooh? Did I take up too much of your time? I hope not, though I would love for us to stay like this a bit longer. If you need to head out that's understandable."

Milo Miller

He looks at him,
"Ah no my next meeting is in about 4 hours, I just manage my time well. I'd always have time for you." He says looking into his eyes, and he thought awhile about the last two sentences, he'd put lips on his donut before taking a bite, "Have I ever told you where I work?" He says as his eyes lit, Milo loved talking about his work.

Jaxon Carter
He smiled, "I was just about to ask in return....that was if you weren't running late for some." He rested his chin in his palm as he watched Milo. "If I remember correctly, in one of our conversations you mentioned something about working on finishing a project. Though I think that was as far as it went because you vanished for a while. Likely working no doubt. So what types of projects do you do?"

Milo Miller

"Mostly art, magazines, you know?" He says as he finished his donut, "It was about a magazine that time, actually that's what this meeting is about. I was supposed to make a custom magazine about this college." He kind of rambled on about the process and looked outside the window, "It was fun, I got to meet some cool professors even my old ones." He put his finger around the tip of the cup and looked down at it, "Ah, I wish I could replay that memory." He said making a kissy face.

Jaxon Carter
"Interesting, I wonder if I have come across something you've created without noticing it." He wondered what kind of memory he wanted to replay. A small pang of jealousy came to his chest making him frown, why did he need to feel jealous of the past? He had Milo here and now. He brushed the thought away, maybe he felt that way because he had only ever dated one other guy. Though the relationship hadn't ended well and that was partly why he'd simply stopped trying to date for a long while. "Would you consider doing a magazine over my company?" He asked curious about Milo's work.

Milo Miller

Milo looked at Jaxon,
"Ah, I'd love too!" He said as his eyes lit up, he broke a piece of donut off and ate it he looked at his phone and put it in his bag, he'd bring out a camera, and look at as it was facing Jaxon, "Hello, Jaxon!" He said snapping a picture of him and looking at it. He smiled and got his phone out and looked at it, playing with filters on his phone. "Ah, you're photogenic." He said looking up at Jaxon.

Jaxon Carter
Jaxon blushed slightly, "I wouldn't know I generally don't take pictures of myself. I only took that one for my dating profile and I honestly felt kind of dumb when I did it." He brushed at some of his hair feeling a bit self-conscious. "I would have my people call you so everything was set up properly and you get paid. I'm mainly asking this of you because those in the company could use a bit of a self-positive glow-up. If that makes sense. Since my father fell ill and I had to step in people have been feeling a bit down and if I had someone come in to make a magazine featuring them and their work and possibly the things they have excelled in it could cheer them up a bit more. It's a project that could take up a lot of your time. So it's something that can wait until you are done with current projects."
