Would love to find a partner to do an unadulterated, original fantasy RP. Would use some sort of story starter for the world, npc ideas, etc, but would create everything from the ground up with this one. Would love to use this world for future group RPs as well. Please message if interested in partnering!

Edit: Adding some basic story concepts-

In the Wake of the Dragons - After a sudden tyrannical take-over of the world, evil dragonlord Creraskun set the world on fire with his winged army. There was no corner of any empire that was not scorched by his dragons’ flames. Creraskun’s power over the dragons faltered, however, as he tried to spread his direct control over hundreds of beasts and was unable to maintain the magic. A powerful mage, Sollaind, acted upon this opportunity to rid the world of the evil dragonlord. Now, as the freed dragons roam the skies and spread their wings stretching their newfound freedom from evil control, survivors on the Land must forage, explore, build, and battle to reclaim any resemblance of ‘life’ as it had been before Creraskun reigned. Evil lurks In all places on the destroyed Lands, and not all dragons in the Skies keep to their own majestic business. What will the world’s history be in the wake of the dragons?

The Queen’s Mercy - Sir Kirtrick, once renowned knight and protector of the royal family Sorathene of High Ironworth, has been exiled by Queen Kylis for her suspicion of his involvement in the plot to murder her husband, King Bronnin. The attempt on the King’s life was unsuccessful. The Queen’s suspicion arose from Sir Kirtrick’s outward disapproval of Bronnin’s recent policies and actions in support of slavery of the common people, further segregation of the rich and the poor of Ironworth, and the preparation of an army for a ruthless takeover of other cities. While Kirtrick despised Bronnin’s desire to rule the world, his honor as a knight and morals as a good human being prevented him from taking any action against the ruler or the royal family. Upon his exile, the Queen suggested, “You have served our family well, Sir Kirtrick. Your disputes against the betterment of our name, city, and realm sicken me with incredible disbelief. My husband and King declared to have you killed for this treasonous plot. It is only by my mercy for you that you are still breathing. Go now, and return only to be buried with your family here when your time has come.” King Bronnin did not understand his wife’s decision, but he was also not aware of the secret life-long connection she held with Kirtrick. Now, Kirtrick sets off for the first city that Bronnin has planned to attack, coastal city Golden Sands. He plans to recruit the help of its royal family, the Nelthorns, in working against Bronnin’s threatening plans. How will they keep the Sorathenes from using their powerful army and expansive resources and connections from taking over Golden Sands? More importantly, how can Kirtrick ensure that it happens without harming the merciful Queen?

Others - While the humans of Earth entertained themselves with technology, science, and war, a new order of being has come to surface. Although there were hundreds of warning signs, they were all dismissed as falsehoods, if they even surfaced to public knowledge in the first place. There was an unexplainable act of terrorism in London in the year 3527, with the purple explosion of electricity that instantly incinerated five blocks of the city’s bustling downtown with no warning, no evidence, and no physical aftermath. A couple of years later, Beijing was invaded for an entire day by what media called a ‘fanatical violent gang’ that murdered thousands of people, yet no one questioned why or how these hundred “fanatics” could accomplish such a feat with merely bows and arrows, and furthermore no one questioned why their defeated bodies (nor identities) were ever revealed. In 3542, an American family went missing while camping in Canada. That same day, a villager reported seeing a monstrous beast, resembling a Gila monster in species but the size of a horse, retreating into the forest without a trace. The following day, search parties seeking the family found nothing but an abandoned campsite surrounded by animal carcasses, strangely shaped empty glass bottles, and a tattered page with some indistinguishable symbols. While the page became an object of scrutiny and research, no historian or linguist could ever determine any meaning, let alone any connection to the odd disappearance of the family or the claims of a beast’s appearance. These are but three of many strange occurrences throughout the world that the more imaginative could explain as magic or fantasy, but that the more logical (and more prevalent) masses preferred to ignore in ignorant bliss. It is now the year 3548, and reports of strange activity and happenings are in such high volume that they can no longer be ignored. Humans must now acknowledge that there are “others” that occupy the world, and that the abilities and backgrounds of these new races of being are mirrored only in what they had experienced in fantasy books and movies. How many Others are there? Will they live in harmony with the humans? Why are they surfacing now? Where did they come from? Or, more accurately, where have they been?

More coming soon!

I'm down for the first or second one! The first one esp fits w my character since his race is believed to be descended from dragons by ignorant people (though scholars and the people themselves both say otherwise), it could be really fun to write him in that plot. Where would our characters fit into this? Or do you want us to play the queen and knight?
