    family heirloom. hades has a blue firestone that he had split into two once his children were born. since they were twins, each half was given to a twin, and colby's has been embedded into a ring of black metal, so she has it on her index finger at all times.

    magical power. necromancy — the ability to communicate with spirits as well as the ability to manipulate the dead/death. at the moment, colby has the power to communicate with and conjure spirits. similarly, she has the ability to raise the dead. not bringing them to life, exactly, but rather corporeal versions of themselves. with effort, she can help other people see them too. colby is also very sensitive to death. she can enter a room and just tell if people have died there. she can also get a read on people's life auras, and be able to tell how sick or healthy they are. this becomes more prominent when they are closer to death. another thing she can do, that she doesn't know yet, is allow herself to be possessed by a spirit. she would have the same state of mind, and most of the control over her body, but should the person be 'gifted' like she is, she can temporarily use their powers.

    limitations. colby can't always choose when and where she hears the voices of various spirits. they plague her most of the time, though she has been practising with trying to tune them out. conjuring spirits is trickier. she usually needs something belonging to them, or needs to be at the site of their death or their body, and it takes a good amount of energy from her too. colby, while able to give spirits a physical form for a very short period of time, cannot do anything to prevent death or bring someone back to life. their bodies, however physical, are still dead, and will look like the body when they died, i.e, if they died with a bullet through their head, the body, if given a physical or corporeal form, will look the same. also, just because she can communicate with spirits does not make her omnilingual. if she doesn't speak the language, of course she can't communicate with them properly.

[div class=text]personality.Azura is a confident young woman who is a major flirt. She is a gold digger and is usually only flirting if she feels like she can get something out of it. She likes talking to people but isn't very loyal, usually preferring to take care of herself and her needs first (Maybe she can get over that and learn to be nicer? :0). She likes to spend her time shopping or seeing what she can get from other people. She also enjoys speaking to her father (who is, atm, in Hell) by creating seances and speaking with the dead. Secretly she enjoys reading and baking as well. Azura hates long term relationships and gets annoyed by people who won't give her what she wants.

Although she acts like a very confident person who seems like she knows what she's doing, in reality she is scared. If there is any chance of her receiving the short end of the stick on a deal or of any bad situation, she will try to back out. Despite all of these bad qualities, Azura, deep down, is capable of loving and caring for others. She has a hard time showing it however and becomes uncomfortable at any sign of affection. The closest thing she has come to caring or loving something is a little black ghost cat who follows her around (and arguably her father).

[div class=text]brief bio. Dr. Facilier was dragged into Hell a long time ago after he got defeated by princess Tiana. He was a con man who was extremely manipulative and not known to love anything. He was ruthless and was not afraid to kill anyone or anything who got in the way of his plans. However, years after being in Hell, perhaps something made him soft. All of the torture from his "friends on the other side" might have made him rethink how he was in his past life. Making one last deal with the demons, he was able to roam the earth one last time and find a woman to have a kid with him. As long as his legacy lived on, everything would be right with him.

He was granted a little girl he decided to name Azura- from one of the demons named Asura. After she turned 13, he was dragged back to Hell. She was raised by her mother but Azura never really accepted her into her life. After learning about the reason of her birth, she viewed her mother as just someone who wanted to please her father, not because she really wanted her. She loved her father though as he was willing to come back to earth just to have her. While she grew up she learned how to speak with her father through the demons who kept him captive. Although she doesn't view them as friends like Dr. Facilier did because they keep him captive, she knows they are the only way to speak with him. She knows they hold great power as well and knows that they are a huge advantage over others. Even if she wanted to shake them she couldn't- part of the deal was that they keep her safe.

Personality:
Jason is abit of a troublemaker and is quite mischievous. He tends to try to play pranks or mess with people quite often. He can be abit coldhearted at times and tended to do bad things in order to deal with his mother leaving him. He can flirty at times and often likes to get into fights. He likes to act condescending towards others and has a deep hatred for his mother but cares for his sister very much. He tends to hide his expressions well and can even come off as emotionless sometimes. He could be described as troubled as he tends to go against authority.

History:
Maleficent never ended up taking good care of her kids, often disappearing for weeks at a time only to reappear later. Both Jason and Jaina ended up taking care of eachother in order to survive. Jason ended up getting into trouble and making deals with sketchy people in order to get food. He would constantly get into fights and end up with injuries when he returned home.
Jason was often stealing to survive or to simply have fun. He hated the hate he tended to get when people learned he is the son of a villainness and as a result never had many real friends.
He eventually developed magic that he inherited from his mother and would use it for personal gain without a care about who he hurt. It wasn't till he had met a girl named Emily that he had begun to fix himself. She was a girl he had met in a village who performed Voodoo magic secretly. It wasn't till a prince from a neighboring kingdom discovered she was a witch and the village ended up storming her house with pitchforks. He and Emily ran for a long time and they ended up going their separate ways but remained in contact despite ending their relationship.
Now years later he has learned a university has opened up and he and his sister are going to attend. He isn't quite happy at the ideas of hanging around children of heroes. He has a deep hatred of Maleficent and doesn't want to be around the children of heroes. Still there is a part of him that wants to plot to try to get back at his mother and perhaps this university is a chance to do so.

Jaina: Jason and Jaina often looked after eachother and they would often steal food to survive, Jaina had helped patch Jason whenever he would get into fights. He would never let anyone hurt Jaina.

Emily: Jason and Emily met by accident when he was messing with people by pranking them with magic and she being quite weird decided to join in. She would often supply him with more magical objects and information and they developed a romance. They had always had to keep their magic powers a secret however that didn't last.

Rory is, to say the least, pretty full of himself. His mother, the Queen of Hearts, was the most invested in his childhood, so she rubbed off on him quite a bit. Although he doesn't completely take after her, his brash and dramatic nature make it hard to look past him. He is quick to jump the gun on things without getting all of the facts which usually gets him into a bit of trouble. Like Azura, he likes to get his way. Unlike her though, he usually likes to demand something from someone instead of doing some underhanded tricks. Although he is quite demanding and full of himself, he is a natural leader and has a heart like his father. At first glance Rory is very selfish (And he is), but if it came down to a dire situation (i.e. someone becoming broke and not being able to eat), he would gladly give them all of his money.

Rory is also a partier. He enjoys drinking and hanging out with larger groups of people. He is confident and not afraid to show his more feminine side either. He enjoys painting his nails and doing his makeup and messing with his hair until it's perfect. His makeup is usually very intense and he enjoys painting hearts on his cheeks and doing very large winged eyeliner. However it always looks very good and is known for his artistic ability (Which helps boost his ego even more)! He also enjoys valentine's day very much and enjoys being around friends.

The Queen of Hearts was never a fan of her nemesis Alice. Most of her subjects have always thought it a bit silly that the big bad queen's biggest enemy was a child, but Rory never thought it was. No matter what age anyone was, nobody should disrespect you! When he was a child his mother would always tell him stories of the grief young Alice had put her through all those years ago, and it made Rory begin to want to look for her so he could accuse her of all of the awful things she had done. Rory was probably one of the only people in the kingdom that didn't follow his mother out of fear, but of love. Despite her reputation for being quite savage to others and continuously getting people beheaded, she had always shown Rory a lot of love and he had always admired his mother's confidence in herself.

Growing up Rory's life wasn't always fun and games like he wanted it to be. He was, of course, the next ruler and was expected to take over the throne. So he had to occassionally learn what it was like to be a ruler and had to learn some responsibility which was his dad's department. Rory didn't spend as much time with him and didn't really look up to his father like he did his mother, but during those bonding moments with him Rory learned what it was like to have respect for not only himself but others. If his mother had been the only one to raise him, he would have been much more evil..

Cat is a little bit of sweet mixed with a little bit of sour. In truth, she's fairly harmless, but she does enjoy mischief and trouble more than she should. Given her history, one might be surprised to see that she isn't truly evil. She isn't like her mother who was so consumed with herself that she failed to consider others. Catarina definitely enjoys socializing and positive relationships with people, and in fact, growing up with so few close relationships has pushed her to cherish the friendships that she has made along the way. To her, many of her friends have been more caring to her than her mother, who is essentially the only family member she ever knew. She's loyal to her friends to no end and values friendships more than most people do. For the child of two people so skilled in being deceitful, Cat is actually fairly direct. She has a bubbly personality and tends to be somewhat air headed and naive. She doesn't look for trouble, and would never be considered a ringleader in any evil plots, but more simply, she's easily amused and seeing people annoyed or bothered just gets a giggle out of her. The trouble that she involves herself in is never too serious, but there's also no denying that Cat likes to stir up some trouble sometimes just for entertainment.

Academics have never been her strong suit, but she does enjoy socializing so that's just about all that school is worth to her. Her attention is easily fleeting and she seems to need constant stimulation in order to keep herself on track, but she always seems to have tons of energy, so that helps with that. Her mother always faulted her for being playful and imaginative, but it's probably what kept the younger version of Cat from becoming depressed way back when, when she was living in poor conditions with an emotionally neglectful mother. Academics have never been her strong suit, but she does enjoy socializing so that's just about all that school is worth to her. If she took on any trait from her mother, it would be vanity. It was ingrained in her mind as a child that looking nice is essential. If you look pretty, you'll attract a rich man, maybe even a prince! And then you'll marry off and never have to work a day in your life! And everyone will want to be you! It never sounded like such a bad deal to Catarina, and even though her current relationship status with her mother is iffy at best and moving forward, to be determined, there will probably always be a part of her that just wants her mother's approval. It's something that she only gained as a child when she successfully deceived people into allowing them to steal things with her power, but she sometimes wonders if looking pretty enough really will be enough to get her into the arms of a prince, just like her mother has always wanted for herself. Then, she would be able to provide her mom with everything that she ever wanted without the risk of either of them getting into trouble. That's the thing -- even though Cat enjoys seeing other people get into trouble, she doesn't like being involved in direct conflict or confrontational situations herself, as she's more sensitive than her actions would sometimes lead others to believe.

Catarina's history is a fairly bleak one. She was born to Drizella, one of the infamous stepsisters of Cinderella a little over eighteen years ago. Her conception was planned, though only on her mother's part. Her father, who Cat has never met, didn't want children - at least not with Drizella. All he wanted was someone to sleep with, and after figuring out that pretending to be a prince of a faraway land would be enough to get into her pants, he used the lie to get what he wanted out of it, before revealing that he was only joking after a few dates. 'Only joking' would make the encounter seem harmless and easy to brush past, but Drizella had meticulously planned to ensure that she would be impregnated by this man, assuming it would be ticket into the world of royalty that she so deserved to be a part of. She didn't want a baby any more than he did, but when the gig was up, she was the one who was left with it. Drizella's mother shunned Drizella for having a child out of wedlock, and being so foolish as to fall for the man's words. She insisted that her daughter had only further ruined their family's reputation and blacklisted her following Catarina's birth. Considering how much Drizella looked up to her mother and cherished their relationship, this was devastating to her. Not only did she now have a child that she didn't want, but she lost her mother in the process.

The world may not have been happy to welcome Catarina, but Catarina was a child who was happy to be in the world. She was such a well behaved baby; showing very little resemblance in demeanor to her evil and spiteful mother, or her dishonest and selfish father. The little things amused her and even though she and her mother were impoverished, Catarina never would have noticed because she didn't feel like she was missing out on things. She learned how to make her own fun in life early on.

When Catarina was five years old, she and her mother lived in an attic bedroom of the home of a family that Drizella worked as a scullery maid for. The head of the family was a fairy - not the beloved Fairy Godmother that had changed Cinderella's life, but just another fairy in the kingdom. She took pity on Catarina who, at that time, was nothing more than a sweet little girl who seemed capable of making the best out of her poorly situation, and bestowed upon her a small vile of fairy dust. She taught Catarina that if she rubbed it on her hands, anything she touched would then be turned into something ten times its caliber in luxury. She could turn a raggedy hole ridden dress into a gorgeous gown, a string of twine tied around her wrist into a jewel studded bracelet, a handful of pennies into gold coins... The purpose of the power was merely for entertainment, as at the time, the fairy knew how much the young girl seemed to enjoy playing dress up. She never would have imagined that it would have catapulted the child into a life of crime, as her mother's sidekick in years worth of fraud.

If the fairy dust would have worked on her hands, its likely that Drizella would have taken it, abandoned Catarina, and went off to pull her tricks on her own. She quickly realized that it didn't, though, and so off they went -- a mother daughter duo of villains. In Catarina's defense, she was so young during the beginning of the scheme that she didn't know what she was doing. Her mother would insist to her that they were just playing games when they would go to the store and she would have Catarina hand the shop owner a handful of what Cat knew were only pennies, or rocks, or other useless things, but in the moment, appeared to be real currency. The fairy dust would fade in effect quickly when Catarina was no longer touching it, but it usually remained in its pretend state for long enough for the shopowner to put it into the register and for them to leave the store. The owner would only realize that their register was full of rocks and short the correct amount later on and by then, it was too late to realize who had fooled them. Eventually, people caught on, though. In the Faraway Kingdom it was easiest for Drizella's scheme to be unmasked, simply because people began to wonder how she was suddenly affording jewels and luxury items that she had never had before. The townspeople began to put two and two together and eventually she and Catarina fled the kingdom, living in a small village on the outskirts of the town for a few years.

They traveled for a few years during that period, playing their tricks on people in neighboring kingdoms, before eventually returning to the Faraway Kingdom where their negative reputation was somewhat forgotten. It was only after Drizella opened up a custom dressmaking business of her own, forcing Catarina to turn burlap sacks into lavish gowns (that would turn back into burlap sacks less than an hour after leaving the store) did Drizella's money hungry ways finally catch up with her. She was put in jail when Catarina was around thirteen years old, and rather than attempting to reach out to her stepsister, Queen Ella, for help raising Catarina, Drizella opted to allow Catarina to be raised by other villains.

The dust does regenerate, but slowly, so if she uses all of it, it may take hours to regenerate enough to use again. Additionally, once the object is no longer touching her skin, it will turn back to its true state in anything from seconds, to minutes, to hours. She still struggles to understand what dictates the length of time that it will exist for, making it risky to attempt to deceive people. It's far easier to use it for her own benefit without shorting others in the process, and she mostly just uses it to pretend that she has enough money to have nice clothes and such when in reality, she comes from an extremely impoverished life.

There's no one that you'll love to hate more than James Hook. He's cocky, sarcastic, smart ass, son of a bitch, and he thrives on being one. Besides, James will tell you that there's nothing wrong with being confident if you're actually as powerful as you claim to be. Only a weakling would pretend to be something that they're not, and considering that, it seems shameful for James to pretend to be any less perfect than he believes himself to be. Maybe perfect isn't the right word, though. James knows he has flaws; they're just not flaws that he feels the need to fix. He lives by the idea that people can take him or leave him as he is, because he isn't going to change for anyone (but if you ask him, he'd tell you that anyone with vaguely decent vision would know to take him, because they're not gonna end up with anyone better than him). If his father taught him anything, it's that leaders aren't born, they're made. If you don't demand power and respect, you're not only not going to get it, but you're going to be stepped all over like a useless doormat. If you aren't the alpha male, you're the beta male, and James will be damned if he ever ends up in that position.

James has an unfiltered mouth and a strong appreciation for sarcasm and dark humor. In his defense, he can take it just as much as he dishes it. He doesn't mind jokes being made at his expense (so long as the intention is humor and not malice), and he doesn't get offended by much. He can come off as being an obnoxious jerk who only cares about himself and his own feelings, and for the most part, none of that is incorrect, but somehow, he also manages to maintain some level of charm that's alluring to some. He's very low maintenance, an easy person to chill with without having to worry about reputations, expectations, or unnecessary effort. He isn't into the idea of trying to fit in with any sort of 'in' crowd and actually prefers the idea of being independent, so he also has an appreciation for other people who couldn't care less about what people think of them. While James is known to purposely push people's buttons, instigate trouble, and act callously towards some people, it's worth noting that he pretty much only does that towards people who think they're better than him. You won't catch him bullying people who already seem like they have a hard life, or those who mind their own business for the most part. He's not that evil.

James is a risk taker, an adrenaline junkie, and a motivated individual (when it comes to goals he wants to reach). He's physically fit and prefers working with his hands than studying textbooks. He knows how to fight for himself, both physically and verbally, how to play captain off the boat, and how to demand respect. Some people may scoff at his brazen and outspoken nature, and others may get offended by his willingness to speak whatever is on his mind, no matter how inappropriate it is, but there's no denying that James is confident and uncaring of the opinions of those around him. He does what he wants and lives freely; a pirate's life, indeed.

Growing up, little James never would have recognized that his beloved father was seen as a villain to the outside world. He knew that a villain was someone who was bad, but because he didn't understand the difference between what truly constituted being malicious, he felt like his father was the good guy in every story that was told. And to an extent, he still believes that today. You have to imagine it from James' point of view: he was brought into the world by a mermaid and Captain James Hook. Both wanted a child, but Captain Hook only wanted a son. He wanted someone to pass his legacy down to, and he wanted to raise his heir to be a better, more powerful version of himself. He didn't need some mermaid involved in the child's life for any purpose outside of birthing it, so soon after bringing the child to life, Hook killed the mother of his child. Cold and heartless is an understatement for the act, but to Hook, it merely seemed like a necessity. He didn't need anyone getting in the way of his plan, especially not some cupcakes-and-rainbows mindset of a mermaid. James did ask about his mother when he was a young boy, but his father insisted that she perished long ago at the hands of Pan and the Lost Boys, and that while trying to save her, Pan cut off his hand. All that James needed to know was that his family was the crew, and more importantly, that Pan and his crew needed to be exterminated. His father spun himself into being the selfless hero of the story, as he did with every other story that he would recount to James, and James had no reason not to believe his father. When they went after Pan, it was in search of vengence for his mother. When they robbed people, it was because the jewels and riches they were going after were rightfully theirs, and had been stolen long ago from them. Lives lost in the process of their escapades were necessary casualties; eliminating foes, traitors, enemies. There probably was a point in time in his early teen years where James realized that maybe everything they were doing wasn't justified, but it was easier to continue to attempt to justify it all than to consider that his entire life had been a sham.

James never had any plans of pursuing any formal higher education. He was educated properly on board his ship up until a high school level, but had his father never been arrested, he probably would not have thought about going to college. He was destined to kill Pan, take over as captain of the Jolly Roger, and conquer all of Neverland before moving onto the seas of other kingdoms. Alas, after his father and many of his crew members were arrested, James obliged by his father's request to get an education. The reasoning behind it was fairly simple: Pan had magic that they didn't have, but other people in the kingdom had comparable magic. Befriend those who could conquer Pan in one easy swipe, and if that didn't work, strong arm them into being forced to annihilate Pan. Then, get his father out of prison with the newfound armory of magic, and return to sea. Oh, and kill Pan's kid while they're at it. All while somehow managing to ensure his brother remained in check, too.

[div class=tag]magical power[/div] James is half merman, and can turn into a merman at will when he enters the water. When doing so, he embodies most of the powers that mermaids have. As a merfolk, he Mermaids can call and communicate with aquatic creatures telepathically. Additionally, when in merman form, he has water manipulation powers.

[div class=tag]limitations[/div] As half a merfolk, he isn't able to use his powers when in human form, as he doesn't have full mermaid blood. His water manipulation powers are still quite underdeveloped, so he isn't able to destroy ships or create massive waves or tsunamis as he has known some mermaids to be capable of doing.

Some people around his age have given him trouble in the past (and even still in the present) for who his parents are, considering Meg had basically sold her soul to Hades before being saved and then married to Hercules.

Although his father never meant to be overbearing to AJ, he always pushed his son to be the best at what he did. This led to AJ wanting to be perfect to impress his parents and even others around him, which rubbed some people the wrong way even further. Although Meg would encourage her son to slow down, AJ always told her that he was okay, that he could handle doing everything, just like Herc.

He discovered the guitar when he was in school, and started teaching himself how to play. Too embarrassed to ask for help, he played and performed in secret, and is actually quite good.

Because of this, Alexa may have a slightly skewed sense on what a 'real man' is, but she still holds people accountable for those standards, both man and woman.

A lover of the water, it was always hard to keep Alexa away from the ocean or whatever other body of water she could find. She's never been afraid of drowning, as it seems that swimming comes second nature to her. She practically grew up in the water, and she also grew up in her mother's footsteps. She wants power; she wants to be recognized. Perhaps that's where the ink and piercings come from? She wants people to know her face and know her name.

Jumping from one rich guy to another, Malachi always made sure that Malia was protected above all. They usually had whatever money could buy, as their mothers many boyfriends wanted to buy their affections. Their mother allowed it to a point, because she found out that if her kids were happy and occupied, they left her alone more often than not and she could do whatever she wanted with her 'friends'.

Luckily, none of them ever made it past the dating point, so they never had to worry about one of them trying to come in and make rules or change things. Malachi and Malia settled into their lives and were just there for each other above all.

At one point when she was very little, she tried to be the perfect daughter, doing everything her father asked, honing her skills as a thief so she could care for herself and be less of a burden on her father. If only it had worked. In no time, she went from a sweet girl who wanted to do nothing but to please to a hardened shell, struggling to let others in.

Due to basically living on the streets, Ebonee grew extremely distrustful, only truly letting in very few. She grew quiet after being constantly berated for not managing to be as beautiful as Jasmine and cold as her father threatened her when he fell into one of his moods. As she grew successful in her exploits on the street, her confidence began to grow and she began to take on somewhat of a cocky persona. She knew what she was doing and she was going to keep getting away with it.

While few have managed it, once she trusts someone, Ebonee will go to the ends of the Earth to protect them. If they need her, she's there. She cares, and cares deeply, because when she manages to love someone, she can only put her whole heart behind the action. She's a caring person and while she doesn't trust easily, her nature towards kindness is something could easily end up getting her hurt one day. She acknowledges this in some part, and it's why she puts up such a cautious front, struggling to hand out even an ounce of trust.

[div class=tag]history[/div] ebonee knew from a young age that she would never live up to her father's expectations. he made sure she learned that she'd never measure up in beauty, she'd always be a second to jasmine, and when she became a thief, he gave her a brutal lesson in how she would never be anywhere near as good as aladdin and definitely never come close nearing him in skill. it wasn't easy growing up, especially when you were an impressionable little girl who wanted nothing other than to please her father. by the time she accepted that she would never gain his approval, the damage had already been done to her spirit, and the bright little girl who wanted to try and see the good in people was almost gone.

luckily, she had one saving grace in the form of elias. he was the son of her father's former friend/servant, iago. due to being abandoned by his father, jafar agreed to take in elias and "raise" him alongside his daughter. when she first found out, ebonee felt somewhat bitter, knowing based on her father's stories that he would've preferred a male child. after all, princesses are meant to be seen and not heard right? it was a common phrase she heard growing up, always followed by the reminder that she was no princess. once she got to know elias however, he became her best friend.

they did next to everything together, and as she started making her way into the streets more and more, trying to steal larger profits to help keep their small family afloat, he was there, helping her and she loved him for it. he was the first and only form of support that she had.

overall, ebonee felt that her life was fairly simple. she didn't hate her life and the people around her, but she found herself feeling apathetic for the most part. she didn't trust people thinking they'd steal from her, betray her, or hurt her in some other way. so when elias came to her, talking about going off to university, she was extremely hesitant. she trusted him however, and she believed for once that things could turn out okay.

[div class=tag]personality[/div] living with a name meaning truth, jun was taught to live up to this to the fullest. due to hearing the stories of his parents lives in the military, both his mother and father wanted their son to be honest with them. as a child, it was something he struggled with. he'd see other children lie to get out of their problems and didn't understand why if he ever even thought to try - his mother always seemed to sense when he was about to lie to her - he'd get the threat of a heavy punishment. he learned very quickly that trying wasn't worth the fear of his mother's wrath and just decided not to lie to her.

as he grew, jun was a very happy child. he knew his life was fairly great seeing as his family was decently well off, and while he didn't flaunt it, he did live his life to the fullest. this led to many exhausted nights for his parents as they tried to keep up with his never ending energy. jun always had something he wanted to do, and someone to do it with. he was friends with just about everyone he met, always offering a bright smile and an offer to play. by the time he was a teenager, he was extremely charismatic and could basically sweet talk someone into agreeing with him. he just drew people to him with his kind and honest demeanor, most finding his ability to tell the truth refreshing even if he bordered on painfully blunt at times.

[div class=tag]history[/div] born to two strong and hardworking military and political figures, jun had some large shoes to fill. if only he cared about filling them. even from a young age, while he did what he could to please his parents, they both knew that jun was not interested in what they did for a living. all the boy cared about was being around people and making them smile. they loved their son and who they could see him becoming, but they had to admit it stung a bit that neither parent would have a successor in the form of their son.

jun was a bright boy growing up and he loved to move in any space he could. he'd bounce between groups of people faster than his parents could track and keep everyone he met entertained. he was the life of the party and he thrived.

by the time he started school, he started listening to different types of music and learning more about choreography and other physical exercises. He was hooked and begged his parents to put him in classes so he could learn more. they agreed readily enough, though they did try and steer him towards politics or showing interest in the military one last time. it didn't work and off to dance class jun went. and he couldn't have been happier.

as he continued to grow older his people skills only seemed to grow. he just drew people to him and jun couldn't be happier with how his life was going. he had loving parents, good friends, and a passion that could easily turn into a career if he made the right connections, and he wouldn't accept anything less.

[div class=tag]history[/div] growing up lily was the eldest of her parent's first litter and she knew she was extremely lucky in the good life her parents provided for her. she was groomed often, leaving her coat shining and spots on proud display, and played with her siblings until she was exhausted every day. she had a good life and while her parents gave her plenty of attention while also giving some to her litter mates, when perdita had her second litter, lily didn't understand right away that things were changing.

without thinking about the change from dog years to human, lily was encouraged to go out on her own and experience the world on her four paws- sorry her own two feet. at first she was completely against the idea, not liking the idea of leaving her cushioned life until she stumbled upon something much more interesting. science. by the time she started school she'd already absorbed most of her science textbooks and glanced over her other subjects, enjoying learning something knew. everything just sucked her in and she found that she enjoyed being acknowledged for something other than how pretty her spots looked after her latest bath.

soon after that, ursula left them, claiming she had to leave them behind for their safety when in fact she was finally kidnapped and imprisoned. some dark part of keanu was glad to hear the news years later, knowing she'd never be able to reach him again. his worries had been put to rest after being stuck feeling as if he had to look over his shoulder.

leilani grew up with her twin brother, keanu, and their mother, ursula. they spent their childhood in an isolated area of the ocean, living in the caves their mother had made a home in. in fact, the only friends lani truly had were her brother and cousin, alexa. which makes it even more curious that she is so outgoing now but she's just making up for lost time.

throughout their younger years, they were forced to sit through many lessons of wicked magic in ursula's attempt to raise her children to be just as evil as she was. unfortunately the constant lessons and controlling personality of her mother likely drew her kids to despise her more than want to be like her. lani took the lessons and in her thirst for power and popularity she thrived. she harbored the darkness and it showed in her own personality yet still something held her back from her full wicked potential. there was something in her that wouldn't let her over that edge.

on the twin's twelfth birthday their mother gifted each of them with their own unique heirlooms to prove their heritage should anyone ask. it was then that she told them she had to leave and knew they could take care of one another. she said she couldn't take them because it was far too dangerous but this only made lani angry as she felt they were being abandoned. they found out later that their mom was caught and imprisoned after two years.

lani has been to visit her mom a handful of times since her capture but each one makes the girl's hatred grow. she's never asked how they were doing or showed any interest in their lives since she left. all she ever wants to know is if they are evil and when they are gonna break her out, which lani never plans on doing. when josie was born, everyone was shocked to see she hadn't inherited her mother's powers. but no one gave it a second thought as she had been given her own powers all the same. when barry was born however, he took over the spotlight as he had been given the healing power and josie started to feel like she was the one in the shadows. her parent's never tried to play favorites but it was always obvious that barry was a tad more spoiled. no matter how reckless he could be, they still acted as if he were the most perfect kid ever.

although she wasn't given the power of healing, her own powers came in handy and she used them and mastered them as best she could. she helped her parents with any tasks she could use her powers in and learned everything possible about the castle, the kingdom and their people. she was fully ready to take the crown as queen of corona when needed and it was the one thing that she knew was certain. until it wasn't.

as her mother explained, although she was indeed the oldest, barry was the first born son and therefor the rightful first in line for the crown. this crushed josie especially because she knew she was more prepared than he was for this role. instead of taking this lightly or throwing a fit, she decided to work even harder to prove that she was the one meant to rule. born to eden and genie during the heat of the summer. genie had been released from the lamp and fell in love with eden soon after. they traveled the world and eventually cam elijah. his childhood was a happy one, filled with laughs and love. they vacationed everywhere imaginable, taught eli about the ways of a genie, and overall they were happy.

things were great for his family until the accident. eli had opted out of the family vacation in order to spend his summer with his friends instead. his parents trusted him enough and let him stay home alone but not going is something he will regret forever. his mother met a tragic end at the hands of a villain who his father refuses to name. he hasn't given much detail, even now but it was something that changed their lives forever.
from then on it was just genie and elijah so when elijah decided to go off to college it was of course a big upset. not that his father didn't want him to leave and learn to manage his powers better or get an education, he'd just be alone for the first time in year and he found that hard to cope with so he bought a home in the same area the university was in to be closer to his son. The Faraway Kingdom was a pleasant place to grow up, and Ella could not have asked for a nicer place to call home. Her childhood was picturesque and she was a very happy child who had everything she needed to succeed in life. Growing up, she was very close with her father. While her mother was wonderful and loved both Ella and her twin brother, Alex, it was always clear that Queen Ella was softer on her son than she was on her daughter, and Prince Henry was softer on Ella than he was Alex. Her father was the one who indulged in her every wish and ensured that she was spoiled rotten. Her mother, while quite gentle in nature, was the one who attempted to keep both of her children grounded. Unlike her father, her mother had grown up in a less than desirable environment and she understood that it was necessary to work for success to build character. She pushed Ella to do things like volunteer and attend charity events and care for the poor -- all things that Ella knew were nice and proper, but were never exactly on her to-do list of fun activities. There were interests that she and her mother shared, such as fashion, animals, and grand events, but a lot of the time, Ella felt like her mother just didn't understand her. She was sweet and well meaning, but she didn't understand that she didn't want to be a mini version of her. She didn't want to know what it was like to struggle, and she couldn't empathize with half the issues that she had been through in life.

Outside of the home, Ella flourished. She was a strong student, a poised and proper princess, and overall, the picture perfect little royal. Everything looked good on the outside, and as far as her parents were concerned, that seemed to be what mattered most. The pressure of perfection always weighed heavily upon her, and though by now she's somewhat used to it, it hasn't always been easy and it continues to trip her up occasionally. Her appearance is the biggest struggle she faces related to that, and she struggled intensely with an eating disorder for a few of her teenage years.

    Personality: The easiest way to describe Alex's personality is that he is privileged. Privileged in every sense of the world. Not only are his parents some of the most respected royals in all of the land, but he was blessed beyond royal status. He was blessed with good genes, a proper family, and a strong social circle. With so much going for him in life, it only makes sense that Alex has a tendency of coming off as confident... though that sometimes crosses over the boundary of confidence and into cockiness. It's not a flaw of his that he has any intention of working on though, because he doesn't see anything wrong with it. He knows that he's fit and attractive, he knows that he has a strong personality, he knows that he's athletic, and he knows that people tend to gravitate towards him. It's not his fault that he has a lot going for him, and he doesn't think that it gets to his head as much as it really does. If he thinks that he's better than you, it won't take long for you to realize that. Alex tends to prefer to surround himself with people as equally attractive and socially respected as he is, so he is guilty of judging books by their cover (be it their actual appearance or more frequently, their family's reputation) and deciding whether he respects them or not merely based on that.



    With all that being said, Alex is a Charming, so just as the namesake goes, he is charming. He's quite social and makes friends easily.     Biography: Alex had a childhood so magical that many could only dream of the experiences. He was raised in the Faraway Kingdom where his father, King Henry Charming, and mother, Queen Ella Charming ruled. Their Kingdom was one that prospered and in general, was a stable, happy place to live. Locked behind the castle walls where luxury was the norm made that easy to say, but even speaking from the perspective of a commoner, life in Faraway wasn't that bad. Those commoners had Alex's mother to thank for that. Ella, once referred to as Cinderella, had struggled for most of her youth due to the abusive conditions imposed on her by her stepmother and stepsisters. She understood what it felt like to be alone, unwanted, and without the joys of life, and when she grew into power with her husband, she made it her mission to improve the lives of the poorest of their kingdom. She put welfare programs into place, and became so involved in her community that to this day, she's viewed in a saint-like manner for her humanitarian work there. While Queen Ella did work hard to show her children how lucky they were compared to others, she also indulged in them, and Alex is a good example of why that wasn't necessarily the best course of action. In Ella's defense, she wanted her children to live the lives that she never got to experience. She didn't want them to be responsible for chores or work; she wanted them to fully embrace childhood and the magic of the world. She wanted them to be well educated and socially well endowed, and most of all, she wanted them to be happy.



    While his mother was as sweet and doting as one could have imagined, King Charming was the one who kept Alex grounded as a child. He was the one who drilled into Alex's head that he needed to be responsible and uphold the purest of reputations, as one day, he would be the new king. He was always strict with Alex; bestowing more pressure on him than the boy often wanted. He was the one who pushed Alex to take up as many sports as possible, to run for class president, to ace exams and to network. He taught Alex how important a firm handshake was, and how easily a reputation could be ruined by associating with the wrong people. Alex always idolized his father and still does, but especially now as he's growing into adulthood, he's beginning to wonder if he really wants to be a mini version of his dad. He's a great guy and a beloved king by his people, but is Alex really capable of living up to that? Is he setting himself up for failure by even trying?



    Family Heirloom: A sword that has been passed down for generations. The story of its origination is that it's the sword that their ancestors used to defeat invaders that had taken over Faraway hundreds of years ago.



    Magical Power: Like his mother, Alex was born with the ability to communicate with animals.



    Limitations: It's a pretty straight forward power, so the limitations really lie in how limited the power can be. It doesn't do Alex much benefit in an obvious, every day sense, since it's not like he can brainwash animals to do his bidding, but he does appreciate the power. In a time of crisis, he's sure that he could find a good use for it.

It's purpose was to protect him from the evils cast upon him by the supernatural world.

He has to be wearing the bracelet to be protected, and at the end of the day, it just leaves him normal. It puts him on the same playing field as supernaturals, so someone with superhuman strength would need to be naturally strong enough to lift him and toss him a mile, and his thoughts can't be read or his skin ignited with supernaturally-induced fire, but it doesn't do anything to protect him against normal wear and tear from the earth. He can still be punched in the face (with normal force, not supernatural force). He can still be hit by a car. He can still be manipulated or improperly influenced. And sure, bringing supers down to a human level is powerful in itself in a sense, Gabe wishes that he had some sort of supernatural leverage... not just the ability to even someone out. [/div]

By the grace of god, Gabriel's personality was more strongly influenced by his mother than his father, and it shows. Her enviable work ethic, strong moral compass, determination, and kind heart shine through in her son's personality. Granted, it wouldn't have been the end of the world if Gabe was more similar to his father... as long as it was his father post-marrying his mother. Gabe has heard one too many stories about how cocky and spoiled his old man was growing up, and while his father has shaped up to be a good man and strong ruler, he's glad that he wasn't raised the same way his father was. As a younger kid, there were times where he didn't enjoy his parents making him work for his success when so many of his friends were handed things, but looking back, he couldn't have appreciated it more. He recognizes that growing up in a humble, grounded manner (at least by royal standards) was what shaped his character in the best ways possible. He is empathetic, hard working, compassionate, loyal, responsible and trust worthy. He has a good heart and enjoys the little things in life, and is always looking out for his friends, prioritizing their needs over his own.
Overall, Gabe really is a good guy. Though his positive traits tend to outweigh his negative ones, he is human after all, so he does have some personality flaws. His loyalty to his loved ones oftentimes comes at the expense of being too much of a pushover. It takes a lot for him to get annoyed, but he has a tendency of allowing people he likes to treat him poorly for too long, and then exploding all at once when it would have been healthier to just address each issue in the moment. Similarly, his devotion to his friends often leads him to defending them to no end -- even when he's aware that they're in the wrong. Like his father, Gabe struggles to admit when he's wrong or has made a mistake. Lastly, the flaw that he's most insecure about is his weakness with academics. No matter how many private tutors his parents had for him growing up, Gabe was just never a school kind of guy. Even getting C's always took a ton of work, and considering that he could study for hours and still do poorly, it's definitely a flaw that's a sore spot for him.

Gabriel made his debut in the thick of summer; a particularly oppressive one, when the hot, humid air was so thick you could almost drink it. He was the firstborn child of Price Naveen & Princess Tiana of Maldonia, but his grand debut was actually made in good ol' New Orleans, not the foreign kingdom of Maldonia. At the time, his parents were still just Prince & Princess of the kingdom, and not King & Queen, but they still had been planning on giving birth to their child in the kingdom that would one day be theirs. Gabriel arrived earlier than expected though, with no warning for them to make it across the sea in time. Nevertheless, Gabriel was welcomed by both of his home communities: Maldonians and New Orleanians with parties, gifts, and most importantly, good food. Though his grandparents hoped that little Gabriel's birth would be the push that their son and daughter-in-law needed to move back to Maldonia full time, the new parents stuck to their guns on wanting to raise Gabriel part time in both parts of the world.
Tiana's Palace was as lively as ever, and just behind Gabriel, was her biggest priority. His mother loved the restaurant that she had given birth to years ago, and not only was it her passion, but it represented to Gabriel that no dream was too big or unrealistic. He spent a lot of his childhood inside of the restaurant; shadowing different employees in what they did, and quickly catching on to a lot of skills. At the same time, when he was in Maldonia, he learned about the world of royalty. He learned how to be proper, how to ball dance, how to network and speak eloquently.
Truthfully, Gabriel doesn't have much to complain about in his life. If he had to pick something though, it would be the pressure that comes with being a royal. He has struggled with it for a while now, especially knowing that his paternal grandparents are hoping that he will be the perfect royal that their son was never able to be. And he wants to be that. But like his mother, he has different dreams too. It's not cooking, like it was his mother, but rather, he loves using his hand to make things. Be it houses, sculptures, art... he loves building and putting things together. He's attending college because he knows that it's what his family wants for him, but he hopes that he will eventually gain the courage to branch off down the path that he truly wants to take.

If you met Grace without knowing anything about her family tree, you would probably be shocked to then hear that she's the daughter of the notoriously kind, gentle, sweet, and cheerful Snow White. She's not her mother, and maybe part of why she isn't like her mother is because from the start, she hated the idea of having to reach such a high standard of kindness. It was a bar set too high; an unfair expectation, and one that Grace felt like she would never meet, so why bother trying? Grace may just be one of the most rebellious Princesses in all of the kingdoms, and that is a reputation that she's happy to try to top. Being bad is more fun than being good. Grace enjoys going against the grain of life, disrupting the normal flow of things, and just generally causing chaos. She dislikes it when people think that they understand her or expect her next move, and purposely acts impulsively and without much thought just to ensure that she remains a wild card in most situations. Her filter is essentially nonexistent and the things that come out of her mouth are typically crude, sarcastic, and offensive. She gets a laugh out of making people uncomfortable, and she enjoys it when people are left dumbfounded by her behavior.
On the brighter side, it's worth noting that Grace is fairly harmless. While she isn't as pure as her parents would like, she was raised by good and wholesome people and not villains, so her idea of chaos doesn't come close to that of villains, and she still has enough morals in her to feel uncomfortable by true chaos and destruction. Deep, deep, down lies goodness that Grace probably could never get rid of, even if she wanted to, thanks to her genetics, and that positivity enables her to be morally sound in truly serious situations, a strong student academically, self-sufficient, witty, and strong.

Grace Isla was born to Snow White and Prince Florian over eighteen years ago. As their first and only child, she was cherished beyond comprehension. She received an insurmountable level of attention, never missed a kiss goodnight or a bedtime story, and was just overall loved by her parents and kingdom. It's a wonder why she turned out the way that she did, because nothing happened to her growing up that would have pushed her to be the angry and disruptive teenager that she eventually grew up to be. Teenage angst was what it was brushed off as being at first, and it's quite likely that that was what it was, but Grace reached a point where the nonstop attention that her parents poured upon her was just too much. It was tiring and suffocating. She needed freedom and her parents were just so damn overprotective! After her own mother's family had betrayed her so strongly growing up, her mother seemed to feel it necessary to ensure nothing bad ever happened to Grace. She was home schooled, had very few friends, and spent most of her time locked away on the castle grounds. As a child that was okay (only because she didn't know anything else), but once she realized what she was missing out on, Grace decided that she wanted that and wasn't going to take no for an answer. She rebelled against her parents harshly and probably in an unfairly cruel manner, considering that they only wanted to protect her, but she essentially abandoned royal responsibilities in favor of staying in her room all day, blasting music, and then sneaking out at night to hang out with the teenagers who lived in the kingdom. Not wanting to isolate their daughter any further, Snow and Florian acted lightly with disciplining Grace, and when college time came around, they luckily both agreed that Grace going off to school would be good for everyone.
