Video Games Your first video game?

The earliest games I can remember are Grand Theft Auto and Mortal Combat on PS2. I was as young as four so yeah.

I don't remember my *first* game, but one of the first games I remember I spent hours and hours playing was Age of Empires 2 on PC. I had a phase of strategy games until I got a console and discovered jRPG. Never looked back. I think my first jRPG was Legend of Dragoon.

my first game ever was unironically solitaire on windows xp, and then my mom decided to install old mario game on computer for me to play. and then slowly i started playing stuff like stronghold crusaders and delta force games.

Sid mijers civilization (360 edition) let me tell ya I played the fuck out of that game staying up for days as a young child leading the Americans to victory after victory!

It was an 8-bit Atari version of either Zorro or River Raid :D And on PC it was Desert Strike I think. But then quite quickly I moved towards Heroes of Might and Magic II and... I still play it sometimes :P

That's gotta be the very first Spyro game, on the good ol' PS1! Even if it's not my favorite game of all time, the soundtrack and ambiances make me feel mad nostalgic. Guess I was kinda late to the party due to being born 5 years after its release, but it sure planted the seeds for a healthy love for gaming later on in life! Seeing the whole shebang in HD in the Ignited edition sure was great!

I think it was that old Lion King game for the original Playstation. If it wasn't that, then it was definitely the first Halo.

Oooo, I remember a game by that name! I played it on Amiga, so if we're thinking about the same game, then it was released a year prior the release of PS1. But it was a blockbuster, so definitely they converted it to PS asap.

My memories of it are very vague, but I'm positive it was an action-based platformer. I remember some of the levels. There was definitely a stampede and elephant graveyard level, iirc.

My first video game was Sonic Adventure. I still remember all the fun and joy I had in those good old days with my Sega Dreamcast, the first console I ever had. To this day I still love listening to the soundtrack from Sonic Adventure, not only is it an amazing soundtrack, but it also fills me with nostalgia of a simpler time, when I could just sit down and play on my Sega Dreamcast without a worry in the world.

Animal Crossing, the GameCube one. First love. <3

Little did my parents know what they were setting me up for when they bought me Reader Rabbit 2 way back when.

... But honestly, my first actual video game was probably either Final Fantasy VI or Chrono Trigger on the SNES.
