I haven't made a new thread so as always hopefully maybe someone would be semi interested.
Imagine the same family, taking care of the small problems that the government over looked or didn't care about.
Like, someone broke into your apartment? Call these people.
Someone stole from your small corner store? Call these people.
Get the picture? They are/were the security of the once small town that grew into a larger city. The family had been doing it for generations.
With each new generation came a new set of rules, causing the family to change, and bend. They became a ruthless bunch that took what was theirs, becoming something the world loved to something they would dread to see, all over the news and in the papers.
Over time, as you can imagine this small family became a larger than life operation. The oldest son, being the new leader once a father died; no matter his strength or his weaknesses.
So, what if at the age of 7 (A) watched his father be murdered right in front of him on the playground? Well at 7 he's too young, too vunrable by any means to now lead a large empire. (A) and his mother and siblings moved to a smaller city, where he and his siblings grew up. Doing her best to keep her son, out of the line of fire and showing him how to be a great leader. (A) and his mother would send progress letters and soon emails back to thier family states away, telling the family how great, smart and strong thier new leader; The Prodigal Son would be.
At the age of 22, (A) was told about his family and the job he would be placed into immediately he didn't actually have a choice. So(A) had done what he felt was best, moving to a place he didn't know, to protect his family.
Time to make this interesting;
I'm looking for (A) and my oc will be his love interest. (Sorry world, still a huge sucker for romance driven plots.) anywhoo, (A) has been in control for maybe a few months, or even years, maybe he's married and unhappy? Or he's single and unhappy, with being alone?
So, as my oc comes into play, he starts to realize she's his biggest weakness. Something his mother can't save, the family starts to question his skills, his loyalties.
The family starts to doubt him..
