I've decided that we're going to spend some quality down time on Metahnn, so the story is going to grind to a halt unless it's personal character relationships. And by slow down, I mean we'll be on Metahnn for at least a month or two IC. So now will be a time to kick your characters back and enjoy just being able to relax without fear of the Darkhoods or Omnizwart.

However, Saiyans and Frost Demons aren't really known for wanting to enjoy down time. To that end, Era, upon discovering a weakness in the Super Saiyan form, will contact the C'thilians to come to Metahnn and create a special training room based on her own design. She wants to get rid of that weakness in the form, and she needs a special environment to do it.

The training rooms on Pyro's ship are quality, and will definitely work wonders for those who enter. But they're cramped because they're limited in size based on the size of his ship. For Super Saiyans and Pyro at max power, those rooms are downright puny with little to no real elbow room. Era's new room will fix that problem and then some.

But there's a catch. The room will draw an enormous amount of power to function and will only be operational for short periods of time. I'm thinking something two hours of operation time before it needs to be shut down and charged before being used again. However the benefits of being able to train even that long in that space will be well worth the cost.

This room is basically going to be our Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Because the C'thilians have warp drive tech which bends space and time to let their ships cover godly distances in short periods of time, she will suggest they use similar methods to create a room which also distorts space and time for those inside. But instead of 1 minute of real time being 6 hours as in the HTC, the room we get is 1 minute of real time is worth 10 hours in the chamber.

One real-time hour is equivalent to 360 hours in the HTC, which is a total of 15 days worth of training. For our new chamber, it's 25 days for every real-time hour. And if we get 2 hours, that's a total of 50 days worth of training in an infinite space where distance and the exertion of enormous levels of power are no longer a factor to worry about. The only thing you have to make sure not to do is destroy the door, or the space collapses in on you trapping you in a void beyond time and space until you die of starvation/dehydration.

So yeah, don't blow up the door.

And as for how long it takes to charge, I'm thinking at least a week before it is operational again. So it behooves our dear Saiyans to all go in as a group since there's no limit on how many can be inside at once time. This will definitely help Fae get that much closer to reaching Super Saiyan status if she trains directly with Val and Era while they're in SS form.

Rex , I'm not entirely sure how you want to approach her transformation, but I'm thinking that if you're game for the idea we could do it here in one of their training sessions by having Val and Era conspire privately to combine attacks against Fae and wipe the floor with her at her strongest. At the same time they'll be saying things like, "If you can't become a Super Saiyan, what good are you to us?" and "You have to reach the form. If you can't, you'll just be another Saiyan forever reaping the benefits of blood that doesn't belong to you." This is all going to be meant to trigger Fae's anger and self loathing for her history of being considered weak and useless, as she currently is the weakest fighter among their group not counting Pyro's men.

Anyway, back on point with the room...

I'm thinking that this room will be part of something else as well for our characters. It will be installed on a ship commissioned just for the Saiyans, as they're tired of being on Pyro's ship and he's definitely tired of them eating him out of house and home and taking up all the time in the training rooms robbing himself and his crew of the valuable advantage so having them. So they'll finally get their own ships and be out of each other's hair in that respect.

Sonder get our own hyperbolic time chamber? Intersting! I'm all for it.


As for the idea, I'm totally down for that. Them are some low blows that would definitely stab deep enough to bring out the needed emotions to make Fae "lose her shit". Lol and it's totally fair given what Faeora did to help Era transform. I think it sound like fun! Can't all have battle induced saiyan transformations anyway. Cheapens the experience.

Fair enough. I'll consider making a change to the choice, but I think it creates a bit more opportunity for drama later on. Faero knowing he was in the running but was not chosen will create a serious divide between his family and Era which could spell trouble for her relationship with Fae later on.

Something to think about.

Bummer. But alright. Lol do what you need need. I trust you to have something planned. You have done well so far.

Faero, personally, wouldn't mind. He wouldn't lose good will towards Era, and instead try to help the new King.

The family might not like it. So if you want to do something with it, go ahead. Could make a fun arc in the future. (Just treat Faero nice, he's cool xD )
 
Quick note ChazGhost ChazGhost , the Saiyan Race would be grateful to Pyro for the help, but none of them would join Pyro's crew. They're too proud for that for one, and secondly is that even though he was impressive in battle he was completely outshone by Era and Valkyrie being Super Saiyans. Right now the entire Saiyan Race is completely enamored with them, so Pyro is an afterthought at this point to them.

If you guys are interested in writing little spin-off stories for Fae and Pyro, let me know and I'll create a thread for both of them so you can do your own little misadventure stories.
 
Yep you didn't tell me the plan before, but sounds cool to me. A clue for Pyro that that's the plan would be cool so he can help.

ChazGhost ChazGhost I been meaning to ask, how would you like this next segment to go down? I'm guessing Fae and Pyro will be doing their but if warmup. And playing their game of tag. But, there is not likely any way that Fae could catch Pyro if he was serious about not gettino caught.
