Ansom stood up. "Well, I feel like Dakota's stares are going to fry me, so I should probably leave." He sighed. "Thanks for the scones and tea." He said even though he didn't drink any tea.

Dakota winced at hearing both comments, if she were honest she actually prefered and liked to spend time with others who didn't find her bothersome than read at times. And as for the second comment, she felt overcome with guilt. She looked up at him "i-im really sorry about that, it was accidental... and I'd rather talk to you than read...." her voice trailed off and she took another sip of tea. He always made it impossible for her to stay mad at him somehow.
