Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Alex raised an eyebrow at Solana, before looking to Zori. "Hey man." He smlied weakly, glancing back to Solana. He furrowed his brow slightly, what's wrong with her? Was I being cheap last night? He thought back to last night, he had wanted to stay with her longer last night, yet he didn't want to seen clingy. Alex sighs, he knew Rennie was going to be back soon, and he hated being around her when she was jealous of Solana.

Regan greeted Alex as she leaned against a random locker. It was obvious to Regan that Solana liked Alex a lot but she didn't think Alex was dating Rennie. Especially with the way he's always pushing her off. Regan looked at Solana and nudged her lightly with her hand for her to say something. Regan didn't feel comfortable breaking the silence herself, since she saw it wasn't her place to anyway.

Zori was completely amused with the interaction that was going on. He couldn't help but laugh, trying his best to contain it but doing a terrible job.

Solana looked over at Zori in confusion before glancing at Regan when she was nudged. Realizing that Regan was telling her to speak she looked over at Alex in surprise, not really knowing what to say.

"Oh! Um..." She began, biting her lip as her nerves got the best of her. She noticed the way he looked and frowned. He didn't look so happy to her. Maybe he hadn't enjoyed himself last night? She knew she could get boring but was it that bad?

"Hey Regan, wanna come with me to my locker?" Zori asked Regan, taking her arm and pulling her from the two. "I need some stuff and then we need to head to class." He didn't bother waiting for a response and pulled her off, shouting a goodbye behind him.

Solana looked worried, her only saviors leaving. She turned back to Alex and gulped. "A... Are you alright?" She asked softly, giving him a concerned look. "You don't look so happy."

"Uh sure" Regan said with a laugh, slightly surprised as Zori pulled her away. She waved a goodbye at the two and walked with Zori to his locker, stifling a laugh until they were out of earshot. "That was not awkward at all" she mumbled sarcastically. She looked at Zori with a smile and shook her head. "Hopefully they'll talk it out while we're gone."

Alex stuffed his hands in his pockets, "I think I could say the same thing for you." He raised an eyebrow, his deeparents mysterious eyes wandering over Solana's. He leaned against the lockers, sighing heavily.

Butch woke up late; of course. But this time he was all swollen and brused. He decided to take an ice cube bath and put some clothes on. He wore a rag-tag pare of jeans with his usual moccasins. He put a grey hoodie on, this time putting his bandana over his forehead to hide some of the cuts on his face area. The sunglasses were standard apperal to hide most injuries too. He managed to ride his bike to school and make it inside before his first class, limping down the hallway.

Zori all but snorted at Regan, laughing out loud. "Not awkward at all? Those two were completely awkward. I don't think us being there helped at all." He said with a chuckle. He guided Regan over to his locker and opened it up, actually getting what he needed. "I hope you didn't think I was lying." He said with a grin. "I did need some stuff."

He glanced back and saw Butch. "Is it just me or does it look like that guy is limping?" He asked Regan with a small frown.

Solana shook her head, eyes wide. "Oh no! I'm fine! Perfectly fine! I've never been happier!" She said, a wide smile coming to her face. She blushed once more, looking at him before looking down the hall. "I... I really enjoyed last night Alex. I had a lot of fun with you. More than I thought I'd be having. I hope you had fun too." She said with a small smile.

Regan leaned against the locker next to Zori's and watched him get his stuff. "I actually did think you were lying" she said with a smile. "I thought you were just using it as an excuse to get away." She looked down the hall where Zori was looking then stood up straight with concern. "No he's limping..." she said, shaking her head slowly. What happened to him? Regan remembered Butch being perfectly fine yesterday when he dropped her off at her house. Well, except for his arm.

Alex studied her, "oh yeah?" He hardened his gaze when she glanced around. It's rennie. Alex exhaled softly, before looking down at her. "Ana.." His voice was deep, yet gentle. Suddenly Rennie began walking down the hall, dragging Kassidy behind her, looped arm in arm. Alex reacted quickly, he had to get Rennie off of him. He grabbed Solana'a hand and pushed her against the wall, gently yet dominatly. He put his hand on the locker behind her, looking deep into her eyes. His face became flushed, he had reacted without thinking. Rennie froze, her eyes wide, from her perspective, it looked as if they were kissing . Then Kassidy led her down another hall. Alex's lips were incredibly close to Solana's, his eyes locked on hers. He leaned back slightly. "I... Sorry." He swallowed hard, "I had to make her back off, I seriously don't like her." He looked at the floor, then into Solana's eyes again.

Butch made it to his wall locker and noticed Regan and Zori. His locker was usually close to Zori's, but he didn't think he was friends with Regan. Butch slowly opened his locker due to his fingers feeling like broken glass. He then took out a flask and drank a lot of what was inside; putting away his bike helmet and taking out his binder. He looked over at Regan/Zori and smiled a little; maybe a little sadistic, but none the less. He slammed his wall locker shut and continued to limp down the hall, still drinking from his flask occasionally.

Zori grinned at Regan. "Yeah, I did want an excuse to get away from them and the excuse of me needing my books seemed to just go hand in hand. It was a wonderful opportunity." He said with a small laugh. He glanced back over at Butch, frowning slightly at the sadistic smile.

"Yeah- Dude's not good. No A-okay there."

Solana looked up at him curiously when he spoke her nickname, feeling a bit giddy at having one. Her eyes widened and she yelped in surprise when he took her hand and pushed her back against the locker. She squeaked a bit when he moved closer, feeling her legs weaken at the sight of him being so close. She could feel his breath against her bottom lip and gulped, wondering if he would kiss her then and there. She relaxed slightly when he pulled away, clearing her throat and fixing up her dress a bit to look from being so flustered.

"It's alright." She said softly, glancing over at him before her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "You... Don't like Rennie? I thought you were a couple."

Alex laughed, "seriously? You think I'd ask you out for ice cream if I was with her?" He snorted, "I wouldn't be that way, to any girl." He noticed how flustered she was, and he lightly blushed. "I don't like her in any way, other than a friend." He looked into Solana's eyes. "Is that why you acted so.. different this morning? " He asked, looking deep into her eyes

Regan watched as Butch limped away, drinking from his flask. "That guy is so weird" she muttered under her breath, not sure if Zori heard or not. "Maybe he got into another fight or something" she shrugged. She then turned her attention back towards Zori and put on a smile. "You done yet? she asked, looking down at the time on her phone.

Solana's heart skipped as his declaration of not being the guy who played girls. She smiled up at him softly, feeling a bit better over the fact that they weren't dating. She relaxed visibly before getting flustered all over again with his question. She blushed again before slowly nodding her head. "Yes..." She admitted, smiling sheepishly at him before taking his arm and pulling him down the hall in embarrassment. "Stop talking! We need to get to class."

"He is very weird indeed. Probably an okay guy but weird none the less." Zori said with a shrug. He fixed up his books in his locker before shutting it with a satisfied grunt. "I'm all ready! Time for the dreaded English class?" HE joked.

Alex laughed as she pulled him, he followed her with ease, being taller than her gave him a larger stride. He smirked, she was cute when she was embarrassed. Alex let her hold onto his arm, she was clearly rushing. They arrive at class and the teacher is there early this time.

Regan laughed and nodded her head. "Sadly, yes." She slipped her phone into her pocket then started walking to her class with Zori, taking her time since she didn't feel the need to rush. When they got there, Regan sat down in a seat and looked at Zori, hoping he would sit next to her. She figured he was pretty cool to hang around.

Solana held a small smile as they walked to the class. She liked his laugh. Walking inside, she was surprised to see that the teacher was there. She let go of his arm, glancing up at him with a smile before walking to her usual seat.

Zori walked with Regan happily, talking about complete nonsense until they arrived. He walked past Regan going back to his friends. He began talking animatedly with them as they laughed and joked with one another about their common love for sports. After a few minutes he made his was back up to where Regan was, sitting beside her. "I hope you don't mind me sitting next to you."

Alex sat behind Solana as usual. He unzipped his bag and got out his notebook and pen. He sighed and watched Zori sit beside Regan, "hmm, I wonder if they have a thing." He looked to Solana, and lightly blushed, yet it was difficult to see behind his tan skin.

Regan was a bit disappointed when Zori walked past her but she shrugged it off. She quickly moved her books from the desk next to her when he came back. "Of course not" she smiled. "You sure you don't wanna sit with your friends back there?" Regan glanced back at them quickly then looked down at her notebook.

Solana glanced back at Alex before looking at Zori and Regan. She made a small noise and shrugged, a smile coming to her face. "I'm not sure. He did leave to talk to her instead of sit and talk with his friends..."

Zori glanced back at his friends and shook his head. "Nah, they'll be okay without me for a day. I'm all yours for the day." He joked, grinning at her as he grabbed his book and a pen. He put them on his desk before grabbing his small notebook for the notes.

Alex snickered "wow, that must mean something." He watched the classroom fill with more students, some he saw yesterday, and others he hadn't seen.

Regan couldn't help blushing as much as she hated it so she kept looking down. "Well, thanks." The bell finally rang, signaling the beginning of class. A couple students ran in and sat down quickly before the teacher could notice. As the class went on and on, Regan barely took any notes, her mind always traveling to somewhere else.

Solana shrugged at him. "It certainly could mean something. I believe it's one of those things we would simply just have to wait and see about." She said, smiling at him.

She looked up when the bell rang and focused her attention on the teacher.

Zori smiled at Regan. "No problem, really. You're a new friend and you're pretty cool. I would love to hang out with you when I have the chance." He said with a grin before turning and paying attention to the teacher though every few seconds he would glance at Regan.

Regan could feel Zori's eyes on her several times but she just smirked to herself and turned to a new page in her notebook. She started to doodle on that page, not worrying about taking notes anymore. "This class is sooo boring" she whispered.

Zori snickered behind his hand at her obvious observation.

"You are most certainly right in that aspect..." He whispered back with a grin. "This is absolute torture."
