    Really, gender is a such a spectrum there's no exact number, but I didn't know that much were officially recognized, in all honesty? well, that's a very good thing regardless ^-^. and hello! always nice to meet another trans person ^-^!

    don't worry, I already fixed it actually. Don't know what the problem was but I unplugged the adapter and put it back in and it seemed to fixed itself. Thanks for offering your help, though!

    @Lillie Ah.  I stay away from RPs that include mental illness.  I know of that disorder though, just too many damn acronyms these days so I wasn't sure if it was for something else.

    well, the same principles which make inaccurate representation dangerous are what create it in the first place. It´s not just about people doing their research or not, it´s that human nature and it´s ability to make decisions imply the need to assume we are right to begin with. If we grew up with a notion and something is in a particular way, that notion will be particularly hard to detach from, and we may not even question it anymore. Such is the case, a lot of the times, with DID. People tend to assume that that´s how split personality works, because anytime they encountered a reference to it, that´s what it meant.

    y'know, it's pretty obvious when you see someone who's striaght looking to rp lgbt+ people, since it's sadly usualy stereotypical (one person has to be feminine and the other has to be masculine to be like how "heterosexual aka normal couples are", using outdated terminology, and many more). I wish people actually tried to talk to lgbt+ people before trying to roleplay their experiences, since portraying them wrong can lead to you seeming really ignorant and to harm the perception of lgbt+ people in general.
