The ale was meant to slow down the fire before it gets to the cooking oil. Sorry if it was unclear. I was very tired when I wrote that last post and it got rambly.
Sorry to see Vera and Titus go. Magoo is shocked and sad. The spirits are laughing their non-existent asses off. This is going to make their influence pretty strong, and they want him to run from any fight he isn't 100% sure he can win. He is small and fast with martial arts/staff training but can be very clumsy if he loses focus.

I figure for each player that dropped/apprentice killed Shiki will receive a wound symbolizing bad choices and he is not a great leader in a rhetorical way.

From what I read it's pretty spot on, only thing I can think of to say no about is the spell book being a source of mana. Artefacts exsist that can boost ones mana reserve but having a mage start with one might be to much.NeonFlow I finished up my character, just need to find a good pic for her. Anything wrong with Athania or is she good to go?
I like more that it's a magic book of shadows that taught clones and offensive shadow magic. Lore wise shadow magic isn't amazingly rare as say teleportation, telekinesis, growing a giant skeleton like a sharingan user
The book teaching shadow clones, and say shadow stiches to stab would make the headmaster go "hold up"

Gotcha. I'll make that change to the shadow book. Though the idea behind headmaster noticing that Athania's magic is unique/rare due to her mysterious heritage, making its fundamentals different from magic in this world, (though not different to the point that her instructors can't teach her how to cast spells or control mana) and not so much that the kind of magic she uses is rare.

I mean more no shadow mage in Restag or Karma would have figured out “I can physically duplicate myself with shadow mana”
Or “I can stab with shadows”
Most would use it for stealth. Hiding or covering themselves in a layer of shadow or playing with Nara jutsu

Without spoilers basically. But Orcs have figured out the offensive traits of shadows.
Would you like to PM me about fitting the character into the first arc or waiting for the second? As some people have dropped I’m somewhat ok in improvisation to get people with sheets ready in the game
