[div class=text][div class=txtheader]plot[/div]
Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can, while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the small folk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive cloud giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate.
The humans, dwarves, elves, and other small folk of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot by the onslaught of these giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the giants’ weapon against their ancient enemies, the dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the giants’ own power against them.
. . . . . . . .
Although giants sound weirdish, this is one amazing adventurous module I have DMed already, and it left my players quite happy and intrigued. Dragons, giants, goblins, orcs, trolls, guild wars, barbarians, and everything you could expect from the brutal northern fantasy awaits!

[div class=txtheader]game rules[/div]
  • This official DnD 5th edition module is reserved for players from lvl1 to lvl11.
  • Not to spoil the intrigue and the game, please, only apply if you aren't familiar with the module.
  • The location of the module is Sword's Coast.
  • Newbees to DnD are absolutely welcome.
  • Posting order will only apply in battles.
  • Post length will not be applied in this module.
  • If there are too many players, the party would be split to pursue different leads and meet later in the story.
  • I know how tempting it is to create a lone wolf, however, please, create adventurers with motivations to take part in the journey.
  • Please, only apply if you're sure you can manage at least one post every week. The more - the better. If not, you might find it hard to keep up.
  • Since this is an official published module, use only the official published rulebooks. See the list over here. Extra points to those using PhB.
  • For character sheet creation, please, use DnD Beyond's tool. The thread to publish your CS will be added slightly later.
  • All rolls would be made using on-site dice system. More about how it works over here.
[div class=txtheader]home rules[/div]
  • No Charisma rolls are ever made against a player character. If an NPC wants to convince a player in anything - they will make it via cues. If a player wants to convince another player in something - they are to make this via cues. However, a player convincing an NPC might use dice rolls if she deems it necessary.
  • With Dragon War and Silvermarch War being not so long ago, players who will pick dragonborns, half-orcs, orcs, or half-ogres for their race, might encounter more racial prejudice from the rest of civilized folk whose wounds are still fresh. In turn, the usual prejudice against other races are not as prominent.
  • Let's write the universe together: you are absolutely allowed to make adjustment to the looks and traditions of your race if this doesn't break immersion and makes sense. Extreme racial and gender dimorphism is highly appreciated.
  • The expected dice system will probably be much lighter to make such things as battles, traps, etc. more dynamic.
  • Nearly everything above is up to debate.

Hey! Not sure if you're still looking but I'd love to join in?

I'm definitely a newbie though!

I am pretty interested. I've got a bit of experience with 5e, just one group but we played multiple campaigns. I've also got quite a few characters on dnd beyond already.
