Well Epiphany Epiphany ive decided to hold a D&D session that is open to the public, i proposed the idea of useing my job but they said that i couldnt use it.

i need a product as a result of my project so i was thinking the D&D session would be a good way to use my favorite past time to make this more fun

Does anyone have any ideas for a storyline for the D&D session to follow? somthing that can be done within 20 hours total but has to take more than 15 hours

DraconianWarrior DraconianWarrior has brought up the question of being able to learn new psionic powers. Since his OCC doesn't have any additional powers, I will let those with psi abilities be able to switch out their OCC Related skills as you level up with a new ability, on a one-for-one basis. For our Psi-Operator, your next set comes at level 3 when you can select two new ones.

I think what Sherwood is saying is that you can get a new power at 3rd level where you can swap out one of your OCC Related skills for a psi power.

I might have to pick up another few skills, but having the option is certainly great - thanks for that!

Alrighty, my priority list for now:
1.) Listen to Olsen whenever he's willing to share spell knowledge.
2.) Skim the library for any useful information about Atlantis (especially the parts we're going), the most common Splurgoth minions, the amulet I ordered and anything else if there's still time. I have enough ISP points for 39 minutes of speed reading (over a thousand pages, yay!), and I'd certainly like to put them to use.

Since Terra and Blake are likely around for a while longer (don't die on me, guys!), I'll wait to swap spells until Olsen and the library aren't available. Same holds for the armor adjustments - I'll do those on the road as well.

ok i guess so,

Silanon Silanon while i have no intention of dieing i hope you do realize that my character cannot use magic so i wont be able to trade that kind of knowledge with you

Would i be able to train my telemechanics to the point of developing telemechanics mental operation, or even telemechanics possesion?

i feel its easier to enhance known skills then it is to develop entirely new ones

If you are looking to get a Sensitive, Physical, or Healing power, it will cost you 1-for-1 of your OCC skills. If you want to get one of the Super ones, that will be a 2-for-1, since they are sizably more powerful and will take more training to develop.

i understand that they are a two for one, but im trying to look at this from a realistic view, would it be easier for my character to develop from an already known skill, than developing a totally new one, all three of these are telemechanics so i thought it would be easier for my character to develop these skills since he already has telemechanics

Normally, there is not even a mechanic for you to be able to learn new psi powers, so I'm having to try to balance the desire of the players while avoiding making it too easy. The best that you'll be able to do is use two of your skills to buy one of the Super mental powers at a time. If I'm not mistaken, you get 2 at level 3, and two more at level 6, giving you some progression ability.

Sure you can get more. Even the Mind Melter as a dedicated mental power user has to wait for level increases to get more powers. I'm giving you the option to either buy skills or more mental abilities with your skills as you level up.

, sorry i guess im not asking correctly heres what im asking

If i decide to train in my psionics will i get more than just the two when i level up or is the psionic training useless in that regard, i understand i have to wait till i level up that part you have made clear

Ah, I think I understand. There is no need to do any training. That can be a special effect for you getting your added powers.

Correct. You can have your character do something else if you'd like with your time, or have him work with Olsen with his mental powers as a part of the story line. Up to you.

How many books does Brazamal have on boats? i could have my character read up on boats so that he can repair if necessary

He has some, but your Mechanical Engineer skill would be able to handle much of any repair work that might come up.

Yes, you can trade your Fire Resistance for Meditation if you'd like.
