This is your god of darkness?

How long is this day going to last kind of ready for night and then the next day, I feel like this day in the rp been dragged out. I have plans for our duo.

On the subject of time: it's a minor thing but, can everyone just teleport around anywhere and render any distance meaningless? Are we definitively operating on a Fast Travel level here?

I think that this probably stems from the fact that the distance between locations have been never stated so everyone is sort of making stuff up off the fly and trying to make it work the best they can. For example, in a few of my latest posts I had Septimus go to ask the wizard of wizards a question. I figured that he had likely caught up to them before they got too far on their way to Grigori's fortress and thus once his question was answered he could make it back to camp within a couple of minutes. This is kinda why I had mentioned the lack of a map earlier, it would make judging distances a tad easier so we can appropriately gauge how long it would likely take for travel from point A to point B.

Not even specifically anyone in the player group, which has more or less stayed within a general area (magical death dragon mountain fortress place that's maybe underground) and traveled around through related reasonable means (walk, run, take mounts to places and from places), but really GMPCs appear to move across distances that might be sizeable or nonexistent at the blink of an eye through sometimes indeterminate means. Including somehow extending this to an entire company of soldiers. And I'm pretty sure we only have the very vaguest of ideas of where exactly the party is at right now and how we got there, which was just vague plot teleportation.

Actually Izuru IIRC moved like three day's journey on gryphonback in the space of a few hours.
So there's no way any of our characters are catching up anytime soon.

I've been considering having the Wizard Of Wizards offer to teleport everyone but it feels cheap, lazy, and goes against her character.

Also how exactly is the message of killing the storm satans gonna be relayed? Like I think I saw something about birds but do they talk or act like fluffy projectors squawking out directions and mission objective?

I mean if it's something like Fable where there's easy teleportation trinkets everywhere accessible to most anyone that's appropiately adventurous then sure, why not, but the handling of distancing and time in this is starting to get strange unless we all have the option of fast travel or everyone has magical supermounts that are functionally fast travel.

And then not to mention again, we still don't have any real idea where like the capital cities are or anything like that. Just a picture for general appearance of it and I assume some scenery around it.

Plus like we don't even know where we are apart from a vague 'evil dragon lair at Mt Snowden'. And that's not even scratching the nebulous nature of where everyone who isn't part of the main camp is at, (pretty much all the villains)

Also keep in mind the evil dragon lair has a bunch of disparate geographical features. It's somehow up in the mountains and with snow, but also close to a forest, and it also has a swamp.

KnightOfNight KnightOfNight

So all I need to do is get something to do paralysis and poison and grind to my heart's content?

Ixacise Ixacise

Well the swamp I think at the least is just caused by evil wizard heebejeebe voodoo to make the place creepy?

KnightOfNight KnightOfNight

Oh yeah he definitely does run on his first turn. No way does he stay for a guy to get in a turn of attack; it's just not practical or good for his health.

So how are we going to get interactions between villains so its not like they’re pawns to this game of chessboard
