Ok so we have an opportunity to bump up some stats, this is the perfect opportunity to give our intelligence 2 points up.

Think about it, the odds are EXTREMELY stacked against us, and we are up against A WAR MACHINE, we have to play this rebellion smart, as if we are not careful the Nazi's can quickly pin their boot on us, and eliminate us. We can always boost the other stats in time, but we are only a fledgling rebellion, we need to constantly and consistently outsmart them in a guerrilla warfare campaign. As pure might with such small numbers will not be satisfactory, we have already given our charisma 3, and we have a small combat boost, we could have an intelligent, charismatic, fighter, whose intellect is one of the rebellions deadliest assets. We can always get bonuses and skills or boosts to other traits later.

I cannot express enough how much we need to be smart if we are going to last long. As we can figure out how to take out targets with ease and outsmarting our occupiers at every turn will make even the most dire situation possible if we can outsmart them.

Give intelligence 2 points buff.

As badly as I want little Ryu.... I have to agree with Omen here.

Yes exactly I forgot to mention, that too if we can blend our crazy good charisma with some good intelligence we can be a persuasive, intelligent commander absolutely dicking over Nazi's left and right

Huh, I thought Asuka was a girl, but I guess I do have little or no knowledge of Japanese.

Regarding the choice, I think it would be really cool to have a doge. A useful skill would probably be the most logical choice, but on the other hand, a dog could come in useful later on. This reminds me of a quote I saw recently: "A mind all logic is like a knife all blade: it hurts the hand that uses it." So doge it is!

To help me convince you to vote for this option here is a picture of a doge:

But I mean that's something we can get LATER, it's like a side thing, however that doesn't have the versatility having increased intelligence will in the long run, we have a rebellion to run, and we need to make sure we can basically run circles around the German's, our wits is what will save us in this early phase not a dog as of right now.

You know what we need? We need a super doggo. Yeah.

My vote'll have to stay with Omen. I'm digging the whole intelligent charasmatic Nazi ass-kicker.

Oh dogs can be very helpful, see Bear from Person of Interest or from COD: Ghosts. I understand where you are coming from, and both dogs and skills can be bought at a later time. It just comes down to what we want, and I want a doge right now lol. I should also mention that Shiba Inus are hunting dogs(source of food) and known for their loyalty and intelligence. Maybe that can make up for the lost intelligence points.

Well fact is I feel the priority should be preparing our character to think competently to ensure or survival the longest by figuring when and where to strike, how to do it, etc. We don't have the advantage of numbers, we only have our wits out here, we can obviously add a dog into the mix next upgrade chance but being able to outsmart a stronger foe in the long run will be of great use.

It can't really, we should compensate our rebellion and lack of manpower in that regard with intelligence so that we can plan ahead of the Nazi's and outwit them at every turn, a brilliant mind is just as powerful as having an army, and to lead a revolution one needs to be smart about it, since that we we can figure out better how to best use our resources and men, and how to send them into a battle and create tactics and strategies that sends them into disarray, we can't win conventionally, we have to be unorthodox and have to plan our moves carefully being intelligent akin to what we would get in the beginning in the initial creation of the character which is a good bonus, to ensure we get the best out of what we got in the beginning, we need to make ourself competent in intelligence to last. We can always get a dog next but building up our versatility through becoming more intelligent will do us wonders.

I agree completely with the points you have brought up, but feel this is one time that I should let my heart trump my mind. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

closing statement?:

yo dogs are life, but we don't always get a free upgrade. stats are usually the most difficult to attain so being thrifty is the way 2 go
Exactly might as well take the opportunity to become more intelligent book smartz 4 lief!111!!!1

So it seems like the majority wish for an increase in our intelligence! And they shall get it! So your free upgrade is a +2 to intelligence, which obviously makes it much easier to do things with Intelligence, like understanding the sciences behind stuff for example.

With that out of the way we can use or save our Intel points.

Current Intel: 17

Current Money: 2,500

What do you wish to buy?
Personal upgrades:

1. +2 to any stat (Locked since you guys got the free upgrade) (50 Intel)

2. Increasing Weapon Skills by +10 (10 Intel)

3. Getting a Dog! Dog options are German Shepard (Nazis import), Kai Ken, Shiba Inu, Shikoku, and other Japanese dog breeds. (5 Intel) or 1,500 money (Japanese native dog breeds are extremely rare due to the Nazis. It's also hard to get a German Shepard due to most being trained for war.) (Also dogs live way longer due to Genetic tampering so they don't die until like they're 30 years old.)
1. Armored (5 Intel)

4. +20 Blade Skill (10 Intel)

5. Better Armor! Reduced damage you take. (10 Intel): Armor is better, if you have Better Armor base upgrade your armor is made better than current standard Resistance armor.

6. A Better Katana (5 Intel)

7. Better Guns (15 Intel): This gives you Nazi standard guns, if you get the Base upgrade for Better guns while having this, you guns are made to be better than normal resistance guns at that point.

8. Gaining a Skill! Skills are basically things your character can do like give Medical treatment, Build and create stuff, gather information better, know how to speak multiple languages. These make things easier and allow you to do more things. (10 Intel each)
1. Medical Skills 1
2. Engineering Skills 1
3. Learn English
4. Learn Any Language other than Japanese and German (Only one language)
5. Information Gatherer Skills 1
6. Acrobatic skills 1
7. Persuade skills 1
8. Ability to drive any Vehicle
Base Upgrades:
1. Better starting weapons (2,000)(10 Intel): This upgrade gives you some Current Nazi weapons that deal more damage and gives you a fighting edge. Works with all Resistance members.

2. More beds (2,000)(10 Intel): Allows you to house more Resistance fighters.

3. Better Armor (3,000)(15 Intel): Gives you and your resistance fighters better armor to survive Nazis bullets better.
4. Explosives (3,000)(15 Intel): Gives you grenades, C4, and many explosive things for sabotage, destruction, and mayhem.

5. Hideout Defenses (3,000)(15 Intel): Makes your hideout more defensible against the Nazis should any find it and attack it.

Secret Missions:

1. Unknown: (5 Intel)

2. Unknown: (5 Intel)

Well we got the intelligence, so time to get a dog. (Using 5 intel, unless we have money) Then use 10 intel to learn engineering skills, which could be helpful down the road. (Someone in our party already have medical skills)

I agree with this bro. I think we should get a doge. I'm pretty sure we have enough money to not spend Intel points tho.

Here's what I would go with, personally:
Spend 10 intel on Gaining a Skill - Information Gatherer or Persuasion. (Personally, I'd choose Persuasion.)
Information gathering is likely a way for us to gain Intel (like an information market), as well as actual information that may be useful in any mission. Simply put, the more information you have, the more well-informed decisions you can make and the less likely you are to be caught off guard by bullshit. Jack has already solidified his role as a great spy, but another can't hurt.
Persuasion is also another way to gain access to things one normally wouldn't be aware of. It amplifies the effect of anything that requires the power of speech, which can be great when speaking to anyone, whether it be a Nazi dude or our own gang members. It'll take us one step closer to becoming the voice of the rebellion.

Spend 5 intel on Getting a Dog or a Secret Mission. (Personally, I want a dog.)
Getting a doge may not be terribly practical for combat, but we aren't going for like an attack dog or d-dog from metal gear solid 5, we just need a cute dog that goes around inspiring morale throughout the gang. We will all fight more vigorously knowing that we can come back to the loving presence of a dog when we succeed.
Secret missions sound lucrative and useful, the most bang for our buck. This is a great way to use intel and potentially gain additional bonuses for the rebellion, perhaps saving us effort in the long run and maybe even giving us access to new things we haven't even discovered yet.
