Fantasy Academy Of The Forest(OPEN&ACCEPTING)

Alli smiles at Lucy, as she regales her with her story/rambling. Still, she knew what she was saying, and her child-like demeanour just made Alli chuckle a bit. "A snake, huh? I do like my snakes. Although, these mortal plane snakes don't stand up to the ones in my homerealm. Sort of disappointing, really." Alli says, as she reminisces about some of the demonic wyrms that sometimes floated around her bedchamber window. There were things she missed about her old life, and she even missed her father at times, but she was here now - and she did not regret it.

"So", she says finally, "here we are at the auditorium. I believe this is where we now need to be." As she finishes speaking, she motions her hand to the large room, which is starting to fill up, and goes to pick one of the seats near the back.

Belial's POV

Belial was sprawled on a chair, a lit cigar in his hand. His white shirt was open at the collar, and instead of formal dress pants he wore black ripped jeans. A gold necklace glinted from .

His feet were propped up on the back of the chair in front of him. The smoke from the cigar was starting to spread around the room, a hazy fug that crept from the ashes of flowers and strange spices to curl around the limbs of the unsuspecting students.

He was stressed beyond recognition. Something had happened in the woods, and he couldn't remember what. Belial took a drag of his cigar and savored the taste before releasing the smoke in a long spurt.

The hell was going on?

Gren Hastings

Gren listened to her intently the entire time she was talking, and seemed to hesitate on her words. "Yea... Your right. Being a death is a hard job, I can understand that. It's not fun to think about collecting the souls of people who have had their lives cut short." He said before he dropped his nervous act and gained this overwhelming confidence as he looked her right in the eyes with sheer willpower. Having a short flashback to his past self. "I'm not afraid of you. In fact, now that I've met you I actually think death might be refreshing knowing a friend would be taking care of my soul." He said before whispering. "I trust you, it doesn't matter how scared I am of the truth. I'm satisfied just being able to make people smile while I'm here. I'm sure I'll be terrified of what's to come, but that's what makes life exciting. Because your there, to guide them to a place of rest after their tiring journey." He said before chuckling. "If you ask me, your pretty admirable. Without you, people would be forced to live through the pains of life as well without taking a break. Life needs an end, just like a story does." He said before he went red again, realizing he went on rambling. "O-Oops... I must have been rambling about things I would probably be better off leaving well enough alone. I just don't want you to think I hate you or anything. I think your pretty cool, you've said things about me that nobody else would that's for sure."
Lucille´s eyes watered up a little at his words. That was, without any doubt, the most friendly, cute and nice thing she had heard through all her life. Without a warning, Lucille hugged Gren, her face burried in his shoulder. She whispered a muffled "Thank you", keeping the hug for half a minute, before she withdrew. "You´re the nicest person i ever met. I can already tell you, you are my hero, because with you, i dont feel like I don´t belong here." She smiled. She felt comfortable and good, now, and that was because of him.

motheal looked up from his journal seeing belial raising a brow of curiosity. motheal stood up slowly as the spirits started to vanish except for nexus who remained hovering above. "hello there. who might you be?" he asked as he approach standing in front of him. he was 5 foot zero with soft blonde hair and lavender eyes. he was dressed a bit feminine for a guy but it seemed he knew what he was doing far as fashion went as his style was very beautiful, somewhat elegant artsy. he wore a dark top, shorts and lace stockings as well lace gloves all with roses embroidered into the lace and a choker that had a white diamond rose in the center as well as boots. his nails were painted black and his make up was somewhat dark colored but light not heavy but well done on his soft pale skin. motheal leaned over before sitting down in belial's lap. Lucy followed Alli, only to grimace as she remembered a conversation with her mother.
"S-sorry, I promised my mom I would stick with my sister as much as I could today. I should go sit with her."
After waving goodbye (and biting down the urge to blow a kiss) Lucy turned and examined the room, seeing her talking to a demon. She made her way up to sit with Lucretia between them, smiling apologetically.

"My little sister isn't bothering you, is she?"
She couldn't feel any malice, but she felt compelled to check.
"She can be a little annoying, sorry about that."
Almost as though she'd heard none of that Lucretia's eyes lit up.
"Big Sis!"
Lucretia excitedly hugged Lucy, whose eyes closed halfway in dull annoyance.

Aeri didn't know what to say when the succubus referred to Lucretia as her "little sister". She remained silent as the "angel" hugged her sister. She didn't want to believe the first thought that crossed her mind: she wasn't the only one that was a mix between an angel and a demon. Yet, how else could she explain how Lucretia made her feel when she first saw her? It was a rare occurrence, one she even considered impossible. The succubus had been waiting for her answer, so she finally answered in a detached tone:

"Not at all, miss Succubus. Your sister is quite charming. I suppose it's in her genes."

"Oh, sorry," Galtheus said as he came to a halt, "We're not used to having passengers."

The brothers doubled back, so that they could grab Eris's backpack and wheelchair.
The items were very small and delicate to such massive hands.

"Is there anything else you need before we go?"

Gren blushed a lot and hugged her back but felt extremely uncomfortable as his anxiety got all out of whack. He guessed it was fine if friends hugged but he felt so embarrassed after rambling about all that... Plus he was getting a lot more attention and affection than to his liking. He just didn't want his friends to be upset or lonely, it broke his heart. The anxiety faded after she withdrew and he rubbed the back of his neck shyly. "I-I'm really not that great, really. You should meet my brother... If he was here." He said as he frowned, looking rather upset now. "He went missing one day. He was regarded as the strongest blade mage in the world. They said once his training was finished that he'd be a hero to all, with his good looks... Charisma... He has everything I don't. I hope to reach him one day so uhm... The family doesn't look down on me." He said, mumbling the last part so it was hard to hear.

"See! I wasn't bothering her at all!"
Lucretia crossed her arms and made her best pouty face, upset that her sister trusted her so little.
"Her name's Aeri and she's a good friend~"
Lucy rolled her eyes. She wasn't sure if she envied her sister for her blindness to social cues or if it made her feel sick to her stomach.
"...glad to hear that, then. I'm Lucy."
Lucy turned to the stage, leaning in a bored fashion on her fist. Having her sister's charisma attributed to her genes was something of a sore spot for her.
"Yeah. She got lucky with the genetic lottery, that's for sure."
A few years ago that comment would have brought tears to her eyes or sent her into a rage. Lucretia was not her sister, not really. She was barely Lotus' child. She looked nothing like Lucy's mother, had none of her patience, her wisdom, the two's voices sounded nothing alike. This girl was just a child that happened to have a little bit of demon blood that she got from Lucy's birth mother.

Lucille shook her head, smiling reassuringly. "No. For me, you are the hero. YOu dont need to be a perfect warrior, you dont ned to be a strong mage. You just need to be yourself. Her shyness returned after what she said and she shook her head. "S-Sorry... i made it weird now..."

Gren's face wouldn't stop being red. He was somebodies hero? That made him feel really special, making his heart almost skip a beat. Then he remembered it was still only the first day. It was too soon for him to consider going out with her, as nice as she was. He smiled softly and chuckled. "Thank you... Your words give me strength." He said, now actually in a more happy mood. He'd completely forgotten about being late to school and his previous fears. He felt his courage welling up in his soul again. He wanted to do something for her in return but he didn't really have anything he could give her for her kindness.

Lucille smiled. "Don´t thank me for speaking out the truth...", she whispered. "But... if i could brighten your mood and... help you to understand you should never try to be anybody else, because your own self is amazing, then they hit the mark...", she then added. Lucille looked around. She really wanted to leave this hall, but the meeting hadnt even started. Then, she sighed. "I just wanna play on carnivore...", she whispered to herself. Her fingers itched to feel the familiar surface of her scythe-guitar.

"Well, I guess that settles it. It's unlikely they're working for anyone that seeks to kill me." She thought as the succubus presented herself. How incredible, to see another one like her still living in this world. The succubus was probably angered by Aeri's subtle way of confirming her blood ties with the other angel hybrid, but Aeri couldn't care less. The two sisters were like darkness and light, complete opposites to one another that, somehow, despite their differences, still kept caring for the other. A love-hate relationship, like humans would like to say.
"Nice to meet you, Lucy." She stated before turning once more towards the front, waiting for whatever was supposed to happen to begin.

Lucretia began to fidget uncomfortably. She didn't like when people fought, and while Aeri didn't seem stressed or angry her sister did. As if by instinct the young girl leaned towards Aeri. She felt compelled to do anything, literally anything, to get rid of the unbearable (to her) air of tension between the three and in order to do so she struck up conversation again.
"I-if you mean my moms, yeah!"
The young girl pulled out her phone and after some fiddling found a picture of her mothers. One had darkish purple skin and bright hair, as well as a tail with an almost xenomorph-looking blade on the end. The other had gorgeous, bright hair and giant wings with impressive, pure white down.
"They're so pretty!"

Lucy facepalmed and quietly growled into her hand. The only thing worse than babysitting was listening to Lucretia talk about her parents.

When launet screamed, shed jumped back. He didn't expect it to be so dangerous... He sighed, and focused. His body disappeared into the shadows he was standing in, and his pair of bright yellow eyes floated around her horn, looking at it in detail. "Don't worry.." He just wanted to have a closer look, and he wouldn't be able to touch it in that form anyways. "We should move.."
THAUVIN LIGHTWOOD
Thauvin nodded. it was obvious the two had it rough, and he didn't want to push to much on it. "My tail's fine..and you're right, we should go." He silently walked towards the auditorium. he didn't really know how to respond to her story, so he just glanced at her and zera through the way there.

Aeri stayed silent, ready to burn both sisters to ashes, when Lucretia showed to her pictures of her moms. An angel, a pretty low-ranked one, and a succubus had had a daughter. Aeri barely remembered the face of her own mother, and the only memory of her father was when he took her away from the Archangels' guard and teared her wings out of her back and made sure they wouldn't grow again before dying her crimson hair black.

It took her some time to realize he had done it for her own good, so she wouldn't have to face the same fate as her mother. Then, he had abandoned her and returned to the Underworld. As of her mother, she had pure wings, just like Lucretia's mother, but she had six, the sign of a higher-rank angel. The rage that had set ablaze her eyes was suddenly extinguished by the simple reminder that no matter how strong she proved herself to be, there would be always ways in which others had more than she had.

They would always have more ways to prove that no matter how much time passed, she would still be nothing but a runaway, a child with no allies, no family and that would ultimately always be alone in life and maybe even in death. She let out a sigh and managed to let a sad smile calm down the remains of anger that had lit her mind momentarily.
"They're indeed very beautiful, Lucretia. Very happy too. They must be proud of both of you..."

Lucy's eyes wandered to her little sister's "friend." She was obviously (to Lucy, at least) pissed off about something. This girl was obviously the inquisitive sort, and had just enough venom to be worrisome.
Who knows, with any luck she'll learn her goddamn lesson.
Lucretia's ability to get away with anything was fucking infuriating-"Oh, she's just a child!" "She doesn't know any better!" "Stop bullying your little sister, it's not her fault!"
"...."
Seeing as how the situation had clearly been better before she stepped in, Lucy stayed silent. She didn't care much for Lucretia beyond making her mother happy, so watching her get cut down to size promised to be fantastic. But...then she was disappointed.

"They're indeed very beautiful, Lucretia. Very happy too. They must be proud of both of you..."

The compliment left Lucretia practically vibrating in place but Lucy was left with a bitter taste in her mouth.
"Thank you, Aeri!"

Lucretia used her light magic to draw a cartoon heart in the air, which glowed for a moment and then disappeared. The saccharine show of happiness was enough to make Lucy's stomach churn.
"What ab-"

Seeing the trouble coming from a mile away Lucy spoke up.
"Most people don't like intrusive questions, Sis. Not every demon is lucky enough to be Lotus' kid."

Tempting though it was to add "let alone her favorite," Lucy bit her tongue. Stirring up more shit was a bad idea. Lucretia, clueless as always, let out a confused whimper, a helpless sad puppy expression bouncing between Lucy and Aeri as she tried to figure out what she did wrong.

The fire within her was ready to ignite once more, but Lucy came just at the right time before Aeri really turned her sister to ashes. Lucretia's demonic side was saving her from any harm, but Aeri was getting used to the flow of magic that made her unable to harm her. On the other hand, stirring trouble wasn't part of how she would stay safe here and luckily the succubus had made the right move.

Seeing Lucretia's face didn't help to control her inner anger, but for the sake of not provoking a mayhem on her first day, Aeri simply explained to her in a calm voice what her sister was trying to explain.

"Your sister is right, Lucretia. Not all of us have wonderful parents like yours. In my case, I'm not even sure who they were. You're very lucky, so be considerate of people that aren't next time you meet them and don't ask that kind of questions so suddenly. It hurts them."

"Unless you want me to turn your wings to ashes next time you mention your god damned family." She mentally added, but kept herself from letting that comment affect the way she looked at the succubus' hybrid. Then, she turned again towards the front and hoped that nothing more would make her rage grow. This was definitely a weird day that was slowly turning frustrating. She hated that kind of day.

Gren Hastings

Gren was trying to hide his blushing face as his hands ran over his cheeks and white hair, himself feeling completely vulnerable and off-guard after all those nice things she said about him. He just felt this relentless sense of adventure tugging at his heart now. "It's settled then. I'm going to do my best to make not just my family's dream, but my own dream come true as well!" He said happily. "That way I can stay true to myself and my family will be proud of me." He said, blushing deeply. He felt like snuggling up against Lucille but knew better than to try something like that. He'd probably just weird her out or something. Her advice was so encouraging he looked like he had won the lottery.

Lucille turned back to Gren. He looked like a little girl that had just been gifted a horse for christmas. She couldn´t help but smile. She had helped him to find a way to be himself. She couldnt believe it, she had helped him. Made him happy, just as he had made her happy. She would´ve hugged and cuddled him in joy, but she didn´t dare to. Didn´t want to weird him out. Gren laughed and touched his arm gently, then recalled she had said something about 'carnivore' or something earlier but she had been so quiet he almost didn't notice. He decided to ask her what she was talking about earlier, since he seemed interested. "By the way, who's Carnivore? Why do you want to play on him-" He said before he had to stop himself, going red over that sentence. "Uhm... S-Sorry, I mean uh..." He began to mumble but couldn't find a way to change the way he said it so he was stuck rambling and almost crying because most girls would have probably slapped him all the way across the room at this point. He didn't mean any harm in what he said, he was more just curious than anything else.

Lucille giggled at his sudden shyness. She shook her head. "Don´t worry, don´t worry. Carnivore is my best friend. My scythe. And because it´s mine, i customized it. It is a guitar, as well. I love metal music, i play and sing myself and write my own songs. Some of my self-created powers are casted through me playing certain melodies on carnivore." She shrugged. "Wait, since the meeting hasn´t started, let me just summon Carnivore and show you." Lucille stood up and waved her hand. A black mist followed it, soon taking the shape of a black scythe. But while it also had many engravings, the most noticable thing was that it had features of a guitar. It did not look forced, the shape of the guitar perfectly matched the design of the reapers weapon. All in all, it just looked cool and unique. It hovered front to Lucille before she grabbed it and swayed it close to her body.

Gren watched in amazement, but not complete amazement. It was cool that she was able to customize a weapon like that into a guitar, but he had never played music before and he didn't get the chance to hear a lot of music. His parents often left him outside to train for hours on end and if he didn't train then he wouldn't be able to have dinner. They did it because they wanted their son to be strong and physically fit... But often because he didn't enjoy fighting he'd find himself right back where he started with his training. He smiled happily after the summoning was done, looking at her and thinking about how cool she was. "I'm not able to play an instrument myself... But it sounds like a lot of fun! Maybe you could teach me or maybe uh... Maybe I could listen to you sing sometime?" He said, hesitating when he asked because he didn't want to sound rude when he asked. He didn't sing very often either, but he did like the sound of music. It would often help calm his nerves, especially when he slept.

"S-sorry...."
Lucretia, now realizing she'd screwed up and
feeling incredibly guilty, planted her knees against her chest and hugged them as tight as she could. Her wings wilted and lost their shine and the aura of happiness and attraction she gave off suddenly stopped. One would expect her to start crying at this point but no such thing happened; instead she merely clutched tightly at her legs and stared forward. With a defeated sigh Lucy rested an arm on her little sister's head and idly began to scratch her scalp, which helped calm her down but didn't improve her mood much. Secretly she kind of liked this: watching as her sister was torn down by someone because for once they weren't too smitten to see her faults gave her a deep sense of schadenfreude which few things could hope to stand up to. Still, seeing her curl up like that, the light in her wings dead, was disheartening. She wondered what her mother would say about this girl. She'd probably be overwhelmed with sadness. Lotus had always said she didn't want another kid because...well.

Because she was scared she'd play favorites.

"Well, sure, i´ll play for you once we find time... My music is the only part im not shy about." Then, she sighed, leaning her head on Gren´s shoulder. "I wish i could like... play in a real band. I usually summon undead that take care of the other instruments, but... real band mates would be so cool..." She didnt realize what he was doing, as she fantazized about one of her biggest dreams. A band.
