She continued to keep her hand gripped on her sword's handle "There may be a need for this, depending on where that blood came from. While I hold only minor judgement for you looting, you never answered my question. You're not cut, so the blood isn't yours. So, if you could answer my question. Truthfully. I will be on my way."

She prepared to draw her sword in defence, with her wings also at the ready to attack the looter. For all she knew, he could have been sent there to cover The Joker's tracks.

Flare followed Allen from behind, continuing to whistle.
"Hello there, sport." Flare greeted with a smile "Pardon me for asking, but you wouldn't happen to be a Metahuman? Before Darksied's invasion I was a Professor of Metahuman studies. Would it be alright if I asked you a few questions? I haven't been able to really work since the invasion."

Allen stopped when he spoke, and turned around to face the curious man. He let on no incredulity, though his internal monologue questioned this man even further- For one, why would he be walking around, asking that question at this time of night? Perhaps he just noticed his peculiarity from afar.
"Yes. I don't have much to do, so I suppose I could answer a few questions." His accent is a strange intersection between British and Chinese- his British accent was slightly muted by the smooth tone of the other.
Allen holds out his hand to shake. "My name is Allen."

Erin smiled charmingly. "Can you not trust me?" he said soothingly. He looked her in the face for a moment then sighed. "No, I suppose you can't. Well, to tell the honest-to-god truth, the blood is from a previously deceased inmate who didn't need it anymore. I simply.... relieved him of it." he shrugged. "I have to conjure my helpers somehow. Don't worry, the inmate was already mostly dead." The blood minion was now visible in the doorway, and as it waved childishly at Emma, Erin closed his eyes. His hands glowed a bloody red and from down the hallway there was a sickening sound, as if bones were being ripped from a dead body. There was a rattling sound as another creature appeared in the doorway, down on all fours. It was a slightly bloody, dog-looking thing, made entirely out of bones. No sinew, muscle, or skin holding it together. Its fangs were covered in blood, and its snout was abnormally long, as if it were a human skull stretched out to be an animal. The rest of its body looked human save for the long, whip-like tail of vertebrae. It let out a long, low moaning noise, before sitting down with a clatter behind Emma, its tail rattling along the ground as it wagged. Truly, it was acting like an animal. "See?" Erin said. "These are my helpers. No harm done." His grin turned feral. "Now, unless you would like to indeed instigate a fight, I suggest removing your hand from your sword." He crossed his arms as his blood minion made a burbling, thick sound, as if it were attempting to speak. Erin chuckled. "Maybe, Sanglant," he responded. "But I see no need for that yet, unless she doesn't release her sword."

Flare extended a hand towards Allen, the same grin still on his face "Fischer." He said "Professor Fischer." Of course he had given Allen a false name, but one that at the very least sounded a bit convincing with his light German accent. He lightly shook hands with Allen, still making eye-contact with the Metahuman.

As he let go, Flare started his questions "It's electrical manipulation, right? I once met another Metahuman that could do that. Female in her late thirties...Although, her ability to do so might be slightly different to yours. Her body made her a living generator, who could charge and discharge the electrical energy flowing through her veins. How do you do it?" He asked

    CELESTE GRAYSONSTARWING
'IT'S JUST Hard to get over, you know? I mean, losing one set of parents is hard enough, right? But two?' Her best friend sighed out, Celeste gently rubbing one of the shoulders she had shrugged. Celeste was trying to be as optimistic as she could, but her reassuring smile broke slightly when Jessica mentioned her biological parents. She had heard the brutal carnage that had ensued and the further hell the younger girl went through. The sheltered girl couldn't imagine going through that and didn't know if she could even survive that without being utterly broken. Thats why she admired Jessica so much and why she was going to hand leadership over to her.

Celeste was pulled back from her thoughts when Jessica began speaking again. "I don't want you to worry about me, I'll be okay. I've bounced back once, I can do it again."
At that, she scoffed and acted as if she were offended. "What do you mean I can't worry about you? I'll worry about you all I want." She joked, dropping the facade with a smile. "No, but seriously. I'm glad you can 'bounce back', but you're like a little sister to me. I can't just ditch my worries and feelings towards you." She stated, nudging her slightly with her elbow. "Since you're here for me and I'm here for you, I say that we take a break and get pizza." She grinned, earning her addiction from Beast boy and Cyborg.

He shook his head "I was... not there to see your mother's fall. Though I heard she too died well, and with honor. I never said I had a clean record, nor that I will have one from here on out. I simply started with your father because I... grew closer to him in the weeks before his death, and I saw him die."
"E-enemy?" He said with a rather large amount of surprise. Luckily, his domino mask his a bit of the blush caused by the flattery. That, and the rather risqué gestures that she was making. "Well, I don't know about that. I wouldn't necessarily call myself the only one with potential."

Then the conflict hit them. Catwoman looked fucking pissed, and quite frankly, Jamie didn't really want to be involved in this new feud between the anti-villain and the mercenary.

Erin blanched, and then glared at Emma, but his smile grew wider, exposing an abnormally sharpened tooth. "Miss, when I say mostly dead, I mean he attacked me in a state of crazed desperation and insanity. I had to defend myself, so I did. I promise you, there was nothing unjustified about my actions, and I certainly wasn't about to let that blood go to waste!" It would be nigh-impossible to determine whether or not he was lying. He shrugged, folding his hands behind his back and twiddling his thumbs casually.
The Bone creature growled and stood up, tail lashing back and forth in agitation. Its feet scraped the ground with a noise that would make mortal skin crawl as its master and maker was threatened.
"Please, miss, put the sword away. I certainly don't deserve being skewered by a new god when I did nothing wrong!"
More blood Minions appeared in the hallway, their footsteps schlepping on the dirty tile floor.
"However, if you insist on a fight, I am more than prepared."
The Bone creature snarled and snapped it's jaws aggressively.

Tarot noticed how the cat burglar had inched closer to him, and laid a hand on his deck of cards which was on his belt. Something about her made him want to.. know her more? He didn't really know. But what he did know was that now was not the time to be thinking about things like that. I mean, they were in the middle of a confrontation with Deathstroke, one of the most deadly assassins in the entire world.

The Jester

"Fix him?" She asked, holding the crowbar behind her back, batting her eyes as if she was innocent. "Everyone looks better with a smile, don't you think? Maybe you should try it from time to time." Skipping around the new crime boss, Jester placed the bar under her arm as she pulled each side of Tino's cheek to force him to smile. "See? Much better! Now just stay like that for a few days, you'll get used to it."

Yawning quietly, the female skipped back around to Tino's front, sitting on a nearby table and crossing her legs, leaning back, her jacket falling down her shoulder slightly as her green her covered her ears. "Oh my, Tino...such a smooth tongue. I like it..." She placed the crowbar down besides her and pulled out her dagger, smirking. "Keep it up, and I may have to keep it." Running her tongue along the blade, she giggled, remembering what her father used to say.

"So, Tino...want to know how I got these scars? That's what my daddy used to say to the big bad Bat. It's a shame that he's dead now, isn't it?" Jester let out a soft sigh before looking Tino dead in the eye. Suddenly, one of Jester's goons ran in, handing her a pistol and looking at Tino. "Oh, you can kill him if you want." Jester told Vinci. "I don't have much use for him anymore anyway. All I needed him for was to give me this gun."

A few seconds later, Jester aimed the barrel of the gun at Tino, laughing manically before letting out a satisfied sigh. "Say, Tino, I know you're Gotham's baby and all, but tell me...did you honestly think I'd let you run my town?" She tilted her head to the side, glaring at Tino, her finger itching to pull the trigger. "No no no, that must be a sort of joke. And not a funny one either. So! Let me tell you one that should make you crack up. How do criminals take liquor?"

She paused for effect, giving him time to reply before bursting out with an inhumane laugh. "Shots!" Pulling the trigger, she yelled out "BANG!" as a small yellow flag popped out of the barrel reading the exact same word she shouted. Cracking up on the table, her smiled was wiped off of her face as she swiftly picked up the dagger, hurling at the male, the blade flying past his cheek and into the wall behind him with a thunk. "You thought I was joking? Now now, Tino. I meant what I said...this city is mine. I was just letting you borrow it for a while. Consider this a warning...do not get in my way."

Picking up her crowbar, she jumped off the table, twirling in the air before skipping to the exit. "And who knows, if you're a good boy for me, I may give you a special treat." Winking at him, she left the building with a smile of glee before sitting on the hood of her car outside, expecting to be followed. And if she was, Tino would be greeted with tens of guns.

Tino stayed at his chair and allowed the Jester herself to walk away to the front door. He's still calmly enjoyed the glass on his hand. Wasting a fine glass of wine would be the biggest crime.

"- She left without touching the wine..."

He said disappointedly.

"- So you just let her go..." - Tino's consigliere said, the man himself was horrified to the presence of the Jester and the warning she had given to the boss. The warning was a straight forward message, a fool would've not taken it seriously. But despite that, his boss was strangely calm, normally Tino would've been ignited and got excited easily when someone feed him a challenge... But not today, not from the Jester.

"- And if I raised my hand on her, what would happen ? She would immediately saw a weakness and stab me right away. That's exactly why she's here in the first place."

Tino himself understood that all the act of madness, the threatening, the knife, the gun, killing his doorman, everything was just simply to ignite him. He remembered that how many had fallen to this trap of the Joker and hit him first, most of them no longer exist. To see the daughter of the Joker did this to him, Tino felt a little honored.

"- Moreover, she hasn't declared herself to be my enemy. I would ultimately win in the end and my enemy doesn't have to be her. Hit her bring no benefit to me. But I know someone would like to do so... He's probably on his way."

He smirked as he already guessed what happened to the Jester for the near future. Not something big but he would allow himself to take a little bit pleasure in that.

"- What a woman, came all the way here just to turn me on. I hope she did know that by doing that she has brought herself into the surface. She might not recognize it..."

She raised her sword again "You don't want to as they say in this century: come quietly. That is. I do not wish to cause you harm, so perhaps I should explain."

"The soldiers of law sent me here to look for a particular inmate. If you killed a crazed inmate in self-defence there is a chance it may be the same lunatic." She spoke clearly, only slightly lowering her sword "But, so long as I am in this city I must abide by the codes of the law soldiers. "If you don't mind me asking, do you have family?" Flare asked "I had a partner, both in our pursuits of science and in the romantic sense but..." He turned away. Perhaps such personal questions could wait? After all, he wanted to know about Allen's family in case there were other Metahumans he could recruit or use for his cause. That did not stop him from caring. Allen may be a soldier for his cause or a labrat for it depending on how their meeting went but in Flare's eyes he was still a living, breathing sentient being.

Allen raised his brow at the comment about romanticism. He found it tragic on the professor's behalf for someone like that to be lost. "That depends on how you define family." Allen walked next to Flare, returning his gaze to the space in front of him, remembering to be ever vigilant, as was taught to him by the monks which raised him. "I have removed myself from those who I am tied to by blood. But those who I consider to be my real family are no longer of this world."
Allen noticed a slight movement in the shadows of his peripheral, but he chalked it up to a harmless presence, simply a random guy walking around at this time of night.

A pair of wings unfolded from a concealed pack on her back, and she leapt into the air, the synthetic wings flapping as they lifted her airborne. "Courier, do you read? Courier, this is Bluejay, where are you?" She said, speaking into her watch.
She stopped mid-air, the wings flapping, keeping her hovering in one spot. In front of her was a wall of fog, unusual for the climate of Happy Harbor.
"Hey Celeste, we got creepy fog off the coast..... Imma head into it..... There's something not quite right....." Bluejay spoke into her comm link.
She flew forward slowly into the fog, her silhouette eerie in the limited sight of the mist. She spotted the looming shape of another ship, and she stopped, hovering again in midair.
"A.... Spanish Galleon?" She said, raising an eyebrow as she recognized the shape of the hull. "Wasn't expecting that....."
(Waiting to be spotted and/or captured, ;D)

She built this herself after an extensive study of birds in flight. They actually move like bird wings, the flapping and gliding, and are controlled by weight distribution.

Erin smirked. "I'll come quietly, but I hope you don't mind if I bring protection." The blood minions collapsed into a puddle on the floor, splashing a little blood onto Emma's feet. Erin didn't seem too perturbed by it, instead walked over to the Bone monster and snapped his fingers. It sat up like an attentive dog, cocking its head. "I can't have them attacking me without some form of retaliation, after all." He began to walk forward, and even his movements seemed sinister. The tone of his voice wasn't quite right. Something was off about this boy besides his blood powers....
The puddles of blood in the hallway showed where his blood Minions had been previously, and there were quite a few of them.....

"Just until we meet with the soldiers of law." Emma commanded "They are not too famaliar with magic, let alone dark blood magic." She was stern, even as she extended a hand towards Erin in an open palm.
"If I fly us there, this whole process will be simpler for you. We arrive, the law soldiers ask you questions and depending on your answers I simply drop you back off here. Is that a deal?" She asked "I can carry both you and your hound. I assume you conjure these monsters at will so long as there is a supply of blood?"

"Well I am sorry to hear that." Flare spoke in a somber tone "Hopefully we can make the world better, even following what Darksied did to it." He explained with a half-smile and a sigh "To us." He muttered under his breath, leading Allen towards the warehouse entrance. As soon as he stepped up to it, the door slowly opened. The warehouse was in darkness aside from the glow of several machines, filling the room with blue and dark green lights.
"It's not much, but it's my home. At least in this city." Flare explained.

One hand remained behind his back, the other gestured forwards "After you." He told Allen

In the shadows of several nearby buildings his cybernetic allies watched, ready to jump in at the first sign of trouble.

Erin smiled and took her hand with his clean one, being sure not to get any blood on her. "Very generous of you. It's a deal, M'Lady."

I assume you conjure these monsters at will so long as there is a supply of blood?

Erin nodded. "Yes, as long as there is a supply of fresh blood or bones no matter the age, I can create my....." He paused for a moment, thinking. "companions. Yes, I do believe companions is the right word." He shrugged. "My hound goes where I go. It's extremely hard to dismantle, you know. Takes almost twice the amount of energy to take apart than it does to put it together. It would be a shame to just waste my effort in that way. However, as long as I am not attacked, and it is not provoked, it will remain mostly docile." The Bone creature wagged its tail and sat at Emma's feet. "Go ahead, scratch him if you wish." He said, chuckling.

The Cerberus kept sailing, blood red sails marking its presence in the mist. She looked as if she shouldn't at all be able to sail, a noticable hole knocked around the middle of the left broad side in the hull but yet she didn't take on water. Her wood looked dark and rotten, she even creaked and groaned as if in protest. The captain himself decided to head back to his quarters, reclining in his chair and examining the map he was attempting to follow.

Meanwhile, his first mate took the wheel to keep them on course. Of course that didn't last long. The crows nest began to alert the first mate to the presence of a flying girl. And in sick pirate fashion one of the sailors readied his revolver and fired. Of course this was before refiled barrels were a thing or even bullets. Revolvers weren't at all accurate so the shot that was meant for Jess's head only send a ball through her wing. Big ass sea gulls, eh? The rew began cackling and going back to their gambling and drinking.

There was the sound of metal meeting metal as the revolver shot made contact with her wing. It sparked for a moment before folding and shorting out. Jess swore a string of curses that would impress any pirate loud enough for the whole crew on deck to hear as she fell. She was a good ways above the water, though, and so with some quick thinking she pulled out what looked like an average gun. There was a loud shot sound, and a grapple hooked itself into the mast of a ship and pulled taut. Jess swung on deck, landing on her knee. She retracted the gun and twirled it on her finger, then placed it into her belt. The other wing folded and she looked around the deck. "Zombie pirates. Well, this is turning out to be a good day," She muttered to herself. She glared around her and crossed her arms. "Any of you bloody idiots care to explain to me why you shot me down and damaged something that took me months to build?" She said bitterly, eyes blazing with a fury that most of these pirates probably hadn't ever seen in a woman before.
