Winter Time

Shura keeps smiling. "Yeah, yeah... you're a strong girl..." Shura smiles and keeps patting her head, laughing again before stopping. After a while, he yawned. "Ugh..." Shura looks rather tired and sighs. "So... little Miss... don't want to be rude... but do you still want to watch this crowd here...?" Shura pouts slightly.

Winona watched the woman walk back, muttering a small thank you before listening to her question. "Can you keep a secret?" She asked, glancing over both shoulders. "My father is the herd leader. As his oldest child, I will inherit the herd before he dies. This time is coming soon, however, so I fled, scared of my role. I have been exploring the regions near where my tribe lives and roams in order to experience the prime of my life." She sighed, thinking of her friends back home. She wondered if they were worried about her, searching for her this very moments.

"You're right about that lass, we're friends all right." Gygax remarks with a positive nod as he listened to her talk to his old friend Alluria. A loved one being here? Last time he had a special someone most of the the towns and cities around here probably didn't even exist! He knew quite a few places around here were relatively recent compared to him. The dragon man chuckled quietly. "Glad to know I'm not the only one here by themselves." he didn't consider her solo time to be very odd at all. He takes one of the rings and rears his arm back in preparation to throw. He watched with an inappropriate intensity on the ring to drown out the thoughts of the gathering crowd watching him. It was just him, the ring, and that peg. He sent it sailing through the air and observed as it made it's mark onto peg. Were this a fight, here would be first blood!

He snaps back from that intensity to the two ladies here interacting with him. "These games are as fun as I remember, Miss Alluria. Give them a shot! You probably got someone to win a prize for, don't you?" he replies with a friendly smile. If nothing else, he considered offering to compete for the best prize with her but he didn't know how to take the slightly insane proposition.

Snow: She looked back up at him and shook her head. "I can see you are tired. You don't have to call me Miss you know, sine you keep rubbing in the fact of your age superiority." She smirked a little and tried to duck from being patted on the head again. Her smirk became a kind smile though when he pouted. "Now who's the child? Let us go, I think... I think I will enjoy sleeping." She tried not to but her hands went to her eyes instinctively to rub them. Talking about sleep reminded her body how she craved it. The dark circles under her eyes a sign.

As the crowd thicked Pavel had trouble pushing his way through. He kept trying to not make eye contact with anyone, but failed in some cases. As e bumped into more and more people he felt his ring come loose, he went to push it back onto his finger, but ended up catching it. Shocked at thishe watched as his skin tone faded from tan to stone grey. His cover was blown, his vampric features were present. He griped the staff tighter, just in case he needed to use it. @anyone

April was walking through the crowd when she accidentally bumped into a man. She turned to say sorry but stopped mid sentence as his appearance changed. This had to have been her fault she had just bumped into him, "Um come with me real quick if you don't want others to see." She had a black cloak with a hood on it and took it off placing it on his shoulders and the hood over his head. She was never afraid of any paranormal people or creatures she came across.

 @Fuzz this okay with you?)

Shura pouted more and sighed then. "Alright... let's go..." he said and moved away from the crowd with Snow, still holding her Hand. "So, it's a cave, but I'll make sure that you won't get cold in the night... if you wake up before me, don't wake me up. If someone comes over, you can wake me up though so I can take of the person..." Shura explained and scratches his head. "I'm still Sorry that you have to sleep in a cave..." Shura sighed and yawned again.

Snow: She smiled playfully at him as she was told the rules, the crowd pressing in on all sides of them. She fidgeted, feeling uncomfortable with these many people around. It was good he was holding her hand or they would surely be separated. "Why are you not a morning person Shura?"

Shura smiles. "I need my sleep or I can't do my job right... And I'm grumpy when I don't get enough sleep, so yeah I'm not a morning person" he said with a tired smile. "But I won't wake you up either, only if it's necessary... Or if you sleep too long and I get bored..." he added and laughed a bit before yawning again. "So... if we arrive at the cave, we can talk a bit before I sleep... so you should tell me specifically which kind of people hunt you..."

 Alluria chuckled at the other as she watched Gygax. Talking Mina as she watched him play the game with far more enthusiasm then she expected from the stalwart warrior. "Haha Indeed, Ser Gygax is a trusted and Valued friend. But only that, Apologies." She said with a smile, pleased to see her friend once more. However as Mina brought up loved ones her face flamed as she thought of Yuuki. "Heh, Indeed I have a love...though I don't know if she is here...I don't know where my darling is But I will see her someday." She said, her eyes gentle and her smile sweet. Hearing them both urge her to win a prize she could only chuckle as she smiled. "Indeed I could win her a gift....Alright!" she said and tossed a coin toward Mina. "Let's play!"  @Strange_Encounters @CoreyXIX

Mitra smiled as she bad farewell to the creature as she looked at her beautiful love. "Heh...indeed...Well hm...How about a cinnamon bun? They smell divine." She said with a smile, glad she brought plenty of coin for them to enjoy their night.

Gygax laughed a little at the good news of Alluria joining in on the games. "Excellent news!" he remarks while taking that second ring and preparing for his throw. He needed this one and the other one to land properly in order for this to go smoothly. He just hoped it would actually results in his coveted prize and not yet another trinket he wouldn't even give so much as a second glance at. He took a deep breath as he let that second ring run loose from his hand and out into the game stand. And that made two on the peg! This was going to be a breeze at the rate he was running all over this game.

Third ring, probable second victory coming up for Gygax as he already contemplated victory while he prepared that third ring. This was it, the third ring sent sailing true as it hit the peg and circled around the wooden appendage as it slid down on top of the other ones. Remembering the last time he kept his enthusiasm for this victory subdued until his real prize on there was on the counter. Sadly, this time his inferior stuffed animal was replaced with something that wasn't a dragon. Play to trade up, he knew the drill even before the man running the booth said so.

Gygax sighs as he puts down the third coin. "Third time's the charm, I suppose." he comments. Despite saying that there wasn't very much charm in having to win so many times in itself, unless you were into trying to constantly win. The competition was nice for him and everything, but he wanted to get this one over with. As he picked that first ring off of the third stack that was placed in front of him, he debated on whether or not to use some of his power to get on with this already. @Strange_Encounters @Shadows.Whisper

(Sorry been at a hospital all day)

Pavel turned to the woman as she placed the cloak on him. He was puzzled as to why she was not scared of him. He agreed to follow her, still unsure of her intentions.

(it's fine I know how that is, I've been at hospitals for the past two days. )

She lead him away from the crowd, "Sorry I feel like it's my fault that your disguise got messed up. She lead him to a alley way, "There now you can fix your disguise." She said with a soft smile.

Pavel slid his ring on his finger and watched as his skin changed. He looked at the woman. "Thank you." Was all that cam from his mouth. His eyes remained dead looking. Hed took off the cloak and handed to her. "But before I leave, tell me. Why were you not scared of me?"

Meanwhile, a strange looking man wanders the streets of the festival. The man wore garb similar to that of the dwarves, mainly leather overalls and goggles, yet something was strange. Even though the clothes were basically overalls, they were bronze and copper in colour and glowed slightly. The clothes matched the man's eye and hair colour, yet the main feature was the bronze coloured wings on the man's back. On the front of the seemingly angelic overalls, was the sigil of what could only be described as one of those dwarven gears used in their technology. Except, it moved. Every now and then, the position of the stitched logo changes slightly, seemingly rotating.

To mortals, however, that is all they see. To non-mortals, well, that is a different story. Above the man follows a train. A glowing, flying train of seemingly dwarven make, yet there was something else. Something...more. It was as if the angels worked along side the dwarves to create this marvel of technology. Only those who have no soul, or gods/demons, would be able to see the Godway Engine, and immortals with souls cannot see it. Basically, anything with a soul with very few exceptions can see it without The Conductor's permission.

The Conductor goes from stall to stall, looking at all the interesting mortal knick-knacks and savouring the mortal's cuisine. He often did this on his time off, as he was interested in how the mortals lived their lives.

(that appearance didnt make a good enough image - he wears thick leather overalls that cover everything, like you imagine overalls would, with the sigil in the centre of his chest. He also has metal shoulderpads, grieves and gauntlets. his head is unarmoured, par his piloting goggles)

She smiled, "Well I've been living around these parts for some time I can move things with my mind so I'm not your normal human." She said with a small laugh.

Hed looked at her confused. "Being telekenetic doesnt explain why you are not afraid of the undead." Hed turn. "Well I doubt you know the pain of being what I am. Goodbye, possibly  we will meet later." Hed begin to walk out of the alley rejoining the crowd following the flow of the crowd. He walk and wait for the main festivities.

She stood there with a frown as the man said she didn't understand the pain of being undead. Of course she didn't know that pain she knew her own pain. She sighed, why would she be afraid of such creatures she had been living with them for sometime now.

As pavel walked with the crowd he looked up to his surprise was a flying train. He looked around to see the others reaction but no one near him seemed to notice its presense. He thought possibly it had somthing to do with his immorality. He set off to find the source of the train. He would track it to the merchant stalls. As he peeked in to stalls he would look for anyone out of place. He was doing this to pass the time. But there were only a couple of people out of place in the festival,  including himself. Hes not going to have much luck.

(Havent seen many things with wings)

Pavel peeked in and out of stalls, he peeked into the stall that the train was above and saw a man in Dwarvish garb, but with wings? He approach the man. "Excuse me sir, but are you responsible for the the flying train?" He looked the man waiting for an answer. (Not to sure if you would know if hes a vampire not)

(btw, he isnt a dwarf. also, ima say that the dwarves would probably have something like the train (but obviously not flying and stuff) and just so you know, there is a perfectly reasonable explaination as to why it looks dwarvish even though it is a ghos transport train thing)

(i would also say he probably is able to determine if a person has a soul or not, due to the angel thing)

"Flying train, eh? Now then, vampire, I wouldn't go spouting that information about. Don't want to anger the wrong people."

He says this more with a smirk than as an actual threat.

@Fuzz

(Figured as mush as to the man not being a dwarf.)

"Who said I was asking everyone." He smirked as well "And I have one question for you. Why do mortals hate vampires?" He had more of a serious tone.
