Notably, I also find it funny we discuss this for Aiden when part of his description was how frequently paired he was in EAT in short term partnerships.

Part of Aiden's issue is that he's never really commit to a partnership. I can see some appeal in pairing him with Sion if it turned out the pairing benefited Sion a lot as his Parasitic Wavelength didn't just exhaust tf out of Aiden like most normal weapons. From a narrative standpoint, that sounds amazing.

But, there's this part of me that can't deny the visualization of a punk girl skating on a roman tower shield isn't just so anime-esque and badass that I want it.

I don't envy our GM right now.

You are getting skating no matter who you end up with. Someone made a skater shield in another soul eater RP and the thought hasn't left me since.

Ultimately, once our last character is submitted, I'm probably going to list multiple options that work and put it to a vote.

I actually love going through and imagining all the different combinations and awesomeness that they can create because it keeps me motivated for all the fun we're going to have in this story.

what are people excited about?

• The mystery of the missing Deathscythes.
• Personal character developments like Lucien delving/learning more about his vampiric side of the family, Yuan (+ demon weapon partner) vs Ranmao to collect her soul for their final witch, etc.
• Lucien + Dai will certainly be entertaining to rp.

ok ive got a super super quick lookover because I've read all the CSes but im thinking
vox's opinions in terms of weapons (people included, sort of, but she figures she can make peace with most)

top tier: noelle (rad as hell, we mesh aesthetically), lucien (melee weapon hell yeah, we probably know each other), adelle (very young but also I see a blunt force weapon and some cool stuff going on over there, being able to take ground *while* providing fire would probably be helpful), aiden (oh god they're all so little. but i think i recognize you, were you back a few years? got some experience? the shield is cool.)
mid tier: yuri (mace isn't really her thing, but she always seemed very driven, we also probably know each other. this is also a player thing because i think these 2 together would ambition themselves straight into the sun),
we can work it: callah (what is a gun)
we cannot work it: grace and erica (not a utility meister but y'all seem sweet!)
