No worries! I figured I had a few extra posts with Ricky so I was making it up with Ylva. =)

Heya Gang! Just a heads-up here. I've got some things cooking for Broadsword that I hope will excite you once this chapter comes to a close - a few rule improvements and nice options for the Wild Cards concerning Skills and item customization.

Depending on how things go in-game, I may hit the Fast Forward button in an attempt to get D.'s and Sil's characters in with the Wild Cards sooner rather than later (their prologues have been going on for over half a year! They're fun and great to be a part of, but wow! You two are patient!). =)
 
Didn't even notice it's been half a year already - guess that's a good sign. Gotta say, it's easy to be patient when one gets to enjoy a great prologue and can read all the things that happen in the main storyline, too.

Silanon Silanon Sil, seeing as Ylva and Ricky are in two different places again, I'm open to continuing the RP we've got going on involving Ylva, Hitomi, and Trouble if you are. =)
 
Purr Purr I certainly am - should be able to get a post up later today (tomorrow for you), just added the latest bit of background stuff to my workshop notes.
 
Well, that didn't quite go according to plan, did it? Worked on the post, but didn't get there yet - there's a bunch of ideas that I want to have in there, but they don't fit too well together yet.
 
Silanon Silanon Hmm! I think I see what you mean? You don't want a post that looks so much like a chaotic asteroid field floating out there but rather something that can be identified as a singular cosmic object (and still have what can be called a post)?

D. Rex D. Rex I know you said you were waiting on me. The last Ricky-post we had was 11 days ago. We kin haz another? Or let me know in OOC what you want Ricky to do and I'll write it up? Ask me questions if you're not sure of Ricky's situation?

I really want to get this scene moving, please. =)

Please do! My having ADHD sometimes (greatly!) helps my gaming and sometimes it (horribly...) hinders it so I try to be quick to ask when I need something clarified. I don't like being in a state of confusion. I'm lucky to have good GMs (Sherwood and Psychie) who are patient with me. While I have a penchant for details in all of my gaming, it doesn't always mean that my words are clear enough for my PCs to fully see what I'm trying to transfer from my mind into theirs. Therefore, I am generally very open to questions long past character-creation (where the patience of some GMs I've played with kind of comes to a stop).

I need to communicate and I need to be good at it. I'm only good at it now because I've spent a lifetime at it. So offering help not only helps everyone communicate better, it also "pays forward" by promoting a spirit of compassion and togetherness. I am at my happiest when games I am in contain these elements. =)

Lol darn, I was actually going to try and use that method before Stein stepped in. About trying to convince it to blow up somewhere else. Somehow. Like that a time would be better and he could realize his purpose and destroy more if placed somewhere else.. Though would probably fumble quite a bit more than Stein did.
 
And fumbling with a thing like that could bring disaster. You also might note that the professor made a deal with the thing with a plan wrapped around it, not some wistful promise of blowing up somewhere in the future, you know, when the time comes. Professor Stein's deal is as sharply-thought out as if he were dealing with a person on his own level.

If fumbling were any part of Ricky's conversation, then I'm glad he handed it off.

However, that does not mean Ricky, Ylva, and the others can't wind up in the hospital while dear ol' Jezebel gets blown to smithereens. And... I'd rather not do that if the story will allow. I think this outcome is much better - Ricky especially has had the worst of all days already! =)

I'm just happy Jezebel is safe-ish.
 
D. Rex D. Rex Heya D.! Did you want to post as Ricky or should I keep the game moving? Sorry, I don't mean to rush you and I know this is not your only game. I'm just starting to lose hold of the prologue again and I really should post something soon.

Go ahead and keep it moving. We can say Ricky is a bit stunned by all of it.

Sorry, was busy with work. And almost broke my toe by kicking a wooden dresser while dreaming.
