D. Rex since you might be in the market for armor... Take a look at the Oblivion's Panoply feature of the Celestial Battle Armor in Wonders of the Lost Age. While I have to concede the Armor is completely unsubtle, probably overkill against most opponents, and somewhat costly on backgrounds... it can be configured to serve a lot of purposes.

Might not be the best fit for a lawman style character though. Perhaps just layering a Soul Steel Chainshirt beneath the IRA's clothing would be more your speed.

I did indeed take a envious peek at the power armors. But I dont think I could find one that would pull off the theme.

Went with a Reinforced breastplate, and going to wear a nice big snazzy duster coat over it.

I might get the IRA for the extra appearance Orichalcum gives. Maybe it can be used to Intimidate? Or even just the cheaper soulsteel version. I don't know. How does appearance work? I never seen it used in a roll before.

Perhaps someday I'll share it. I must confess that I took perverse pleasure in ganking the player by having his armor fail at the worst possible moment for him. Taught him the valuable lesson in taking off the armor every now an then to give it an oil change.

Yes. Abyssal stones will only work in a Shadowland or in the Underworld, while stones in Creation will work everywhere.
