- an ex-criminal using his comradeship with risk to treat the apocalypse as an opportunity.

- a shy, nine-to-five worker, seen as an anxious and incapable man during average life. his logic, problem-solving and will to survive makes him a skilled apocalyptic leader.
- a fighter, female, specialising in arm-to-arm combat. she was once nothing more than a cashier whilst she awaited a job interview thatโd actually work out.
- as a fantastical option: a zombie, not yet fully transformed and somehow mildly more sentient than the others. he craves acknowledgement and humanity.
