For the most part, no. We may include Synchro Summoning as a story element depending on what all the participants think.

Pends on the timeline, no? GX era didn't have Synchros so depending on when the Rp takes place (such as how far past the canon years, you go) Synchro might still be unknown.

Imo GX era is more fitting with pre-synchro dueling as that's more akin to gx. While Synchro has more meaning with a 5D's approach since it debuted there. That's my view anyhow

That makes sense. This RP is going to take place some time after the intital GX timeline, where Duel Academy focused on grades 11-14 as opposed to 9-12, which is why I ask.

As soon as I build an OOC, we can start. I have a starter, as well, but it needs some fine tuning (get it?).
