Alexander Helhime - Hendrix Alpha - 25
Alex's heart almost melted as little Danielle called him daddy for thw first time. It felt like they were finally becoming more of a family now. "Not just any pancakes sweety but chocolate chip one's especially made for you." He said with a soft smile. He stepped to the side when Dani and Chi walked out heading for their room. It made since considering all three of them trying to fit on Dani's bed wouldn't work well. When Chi said she needed the restroom he nodded "Take your time love." He turned his attention back to Danielle, "What should we do for fun today? Well I'd say stuff our faces full of pancakes and then see what the day has to offer!" He said as he bumped the door to their room open and waited for Dani to walk in before following her. "Also once I get you and your mom settled in bed what would you like to drink?"

Arisa barely noticed the beta female coming over until the snap at her ear snapped her out of it and she skidded backwards little on her hind legs, scrambling upright and giving a dilated pupil and tilted head look of innocence and confusion to the other, as she spoke her ears pressed down a little and she tucked her tail, it was clear it wasn't all that submissive but at least she'd 'learnt' to follow form of the pack here. As Artemis stepped forwards she nuzzled into the girls side a little roughly and let out a slow whine, as though saying it wasn't needed, though her weak form barely gave much of a shove and more a light tap instead.

What really caught her attention however was when Garas stood forward, the wolf cocked her head and let out a small sneeze like gruff in response as though asking just what in Luna's name was going on here. - when one spends most of her life with the wolves you pick up what would be considered odd sayings to humans, a part of her always giggled at them - Her gaze soon trailed off from this however, her swollen form's head peaking around the small crowd to instead pear at the alpha once again, eyes large and fearless as always, she could have sworn even if just or a moment, he'd looked at her directly, though probably only because of all the commotion, she then thought to herself with an eye roll and chuckle.

Diana - Hendrix - Healer
"Ouch. Real low blow, big guy." Diana pouted dramatically before her smile returned. The leaves around her dark hair fell with her movements, though a few stubborn ones were still stuck there. It was good to talk to Vernon, Diana noticed. He had a big heart. She should try to do it more, instead of simply focusing on her work all day.

But the idea of failing her clan made her stomach start hurting again, so she quickly changed the subject.

"Two pups. It is hard to guess with wolves, the stomach size aren't exactly perfect indicators, since some children are just born...big."

She walked over on Vernon's direction, frowning when she heard the shoulder pops. "Vernon, did you pull something?" She didn't ask before reaching for his shoulder, as usually. But she didn't have much time to set it back on place before the scent of a stranger assaulted her senses. Diana immediately turned to the source, noticing the red hair before she fully saw the girl.

"Who-" She began, before the sickly pale girl crashed against the ground. Diana didn't bother with the danger of a possible ambush then. She immediately darted towards the stranger, checking her pulse. The flowers she had been carrying fell to the ground, leaving a trail marking her path. "Shit." She murmured, noticing the weak state of the red haired woman. She stood up, pulling her along with as much gentleness as she could afford while working that quickly.

"Vernon?" She asked. Diana was strong, but the much bigger wolf could probably carry the stranger much faster. "I need her back in my room."

Tesák stopped in her tracks as Garas spoke. His words echoed through her brain, and, almost in slow motion, she pivoted around and stalked back to the group. The wolves around them shifted, sensing the beta’s crackling anger.

Her absolute anger only deepened as the other omega stood in defense of the prisoner. Styx made no move to intervene, so Tesák took it as a sign to go on. “Both of you are traitors,“ she hissed. Directing her attention to Artemis, justice was swift as she delivered a cuff around her ears, aiming to draw at least a little blood. “What do you gain from standing up for that beast?“ she questioned, then turned again to Garas.

That is not a mate,“ she growled, her voice gutteral and cold. She would not harm Garas, as he should be healthy to serve the pack, but using him to punish Arisa would work just fine. “If you so care about mates, then why don’t you have a go with her? Go on, she’s right there. Or will you prove that you’re a worthless trainee?“ she said. Tesák gave him a shove in Arisa’s direction. Tesák darted around Garas to Arisa’s side, once again standing over the female. Hearing the small chuckle she delivered another cuff, aiming this time for Arisa’s leg. “Get up. Come on Garas, if you aren’t a failure,“ she ordered, the bent down to hiss in Arisa’s ear, “Learn some respect or I will be obliged and happy to give you a nice good lesson.“

Vernon looked down at Diana, she seemed to be worried about his shoulder popping. He was in the process of opening his mouth when he inhaled, there were faint traces of a scent blowing down from the direction they were facing. It smelt of a wolf, and at that thought, he knew it wasn't a packmate, so he wondered if it was a foe. Vernon knew the smell of Winson, the scent didn't reek of that pack, it could possibly be just a loner passing through. Vern was snapped out of his thoughts as he felt hands reach up to his shoulder, he had turned his head looking down at Diana as she tried to examine his shoulder. Vernon thought nothing of it until recalled that scent he could barely pick up before growing stronger, which was a reason why he kept quiet. The beast wasn't entirely sure what to do, he had Diana with him, yes but, if the wolf was hostile he would have to get her out as fast as possible. Vernon had never really dealt with a wolf wanting to join, he could vaguely remember anything about it either, he was often just told that someone joined, or he just couldn't remember.

"Dia-" he didn't even bother to finish his sentence as a pale girl collapsed before them. Her red hair was an eye catcher, and her pale skin stood out in a sickly way. On any other occasion, he might be worried but with the way she fell to the ground he wasn't concerned about her attacking, more like dying. He stood where he was, observing as Diana rushed to her side. The girl belonged to the scent he picked up before, covered in it, and she looked starved and nearly dead. He wasn't going to reject the girl, leave her there, so when Diana looked back at him he quickly rushed over. The beast shook his head a bit, clearing the tussled black strands out of his sight. The brute crouched beside the young girl, a little hesitant to reach out for her.

If she would let him, Vernon would gently slip his arms underneath her back before rising up slowly. If she allowed him to hold her, he would question why she weighed like nothing, it was clear evidence she was ill of some kind. The beast placed her in a more secure hold, angling her around so she wouldn't feel the discomfort when they ran ahead. "Diana, lead the way," he informed his voice gruff and serious, he had no time for being nice when the girl looked half dead and came crawling from the forest. He had hoped the sunlight that came from the trees wouldn't be a bother for him or the girl, he would have to be careful and with a bright light in his eyes, he would most certainly have to go slower than he would normally. "What do you think happened to her?" he asked, directing his question at Diana, he had wondered why she suddenly fell to the ground, if some evidence might lead to being attacked or her being ill of some sort.

Artemis Lunala - Omega - Winson - Wolf Form
Whining as Arisa nudged her lightly, Artemis almost backed off. Of course, it was then that the Beta returned, cuffing Artemis harshly around the ears, and the Omega cried out weakly as her ear started to bleed, dirtying her fur with red. She trembled, shying backward, frightened of further punishment. But.. The comments aimed at Garas, of taking Arisa, sent shivers down Artemis's spine. No. No, she would not let Arisa take that sort of punishment from anyone! Artemis knew all too well what it was like to lose a baby, she'd lost her own only recently, and she didn't want to see Arisa lose hers too because of a punishment.

She snarled, lowly and angrily, and launched herself at the Beta who was giving the order at Garas. It wasn't Garas' fault, but it certainly was Tesak. And yet, Artemis was all too aware that Styx hadn't moved a muscle, but was looking on in eager interest.

Diana - Hendrix - Healer
Diana was in full work mode now, any trace of her previous humorous disposition completely disappeared. Her expression had locked into a focused one, and she rushed ahead in front of Vernon, knowing he would follow. They were soon upon the house, and Diana pushed the door of her medical room open.

Gesturing towards one of the beds, she began preparing the IV Vitamin. "Place her here, please." Only then did she answer her pack mate's question.

"Starvation. She is probably collapsing from lack of essential nutrients." She turned her eyes back to Vernon. "I think we should tell the others. She is a stranger but I'm assuming the responsibility."

Dani looked at her dad she was excited about eating the pancakes in bed" daddy can I have milk please and where did mummy go" She asked while walking with her dad to her parent's bedroom. Sometimes when Dani has nightmares she sleeps with her parents afraid of the dark afraid of her nightmares that she can't go back to sleep she also cries in her sleep mostly she dreams of her real parents dying, when she first started to live with her adopted parents she wouldn't talk to anyone. Dani went into her parent's room as she crawls into the bed as she got into the blanket as she was getting comfortable" is mummy okay daddy" she asked she knew he liked being called daddy she was getting used to him she didn't like talking to other strangers she really don't trust people that easily it took her a month to get used to her mother.

It was odd seeing the Omega come forward to protect the captive, if anything it wasn’t very wise seeing as how she didn’t seem so confident in her strength. While that was going on Tesak acted out her example for the defensive Omega followed with a snapped attention back at him. Of course, she would be angry with him but her words bothered him…a mate is someone who is used to create more kin and that was what Arisa was doing. Garas found himself glancing at the Alpha, he wasn’t doing anything so he was clearly amused by this, Garas snarled slightly at his ‘teacher’ and backed up not wanting to do anything to Arisa, Arisa even seemed confused as to what was going on and that made the worth of protecting her even more useless. “I will not…that is for you or our Alpha to do, I have no place in that, it is just clear to me that you act out of spurs of anger and not logic, the captive already bares kin and already understands our customs, there is no need to be harsh with her any more than that.” He glared at his superior, it was then that with quick reaction Garas jumped in front of Tesak to stop the incoming attack from the Omega, was she trying to get herself killed? He didn’t have time to worry about that, he bit at the loose skin of the Omega and used enough force to launch her away from his teacher. He wasn’t trying to hurt the Omega, just simply put her back in her place so she wouldn’t get herself killed, he stared into the Omega’s eyes as if to stand down, he simply shook his head after hoping she wouldn’t try to cause more trouble then looked back at the pack leader. “Soooo leader, would you mind explaining what you have called us all here for? It seems you had something important to tell us yet you do not speak.” He said simply, no aggressiveness in his tone.

Tesák was taken aback by the oblivious act of insubordination displayed by the omega. The confrontation had quickly gone out of hand. Not that she couldn’t have handled the attack; Tesák could have torn the smaller wolf apart, but she restrained herself as Garas threw the wolf back. She parted her jaws, taking in the scent of fear and nervousness emanating from the two before her. Garas stood tall, and she wrinkled her muzzle, her lips curling to reveal her longer than normal canines. “If that is how you feel, so be it. Your training is suspended,“ she said, an air of finality surrounding her. Her words were sharper than a blow, and she glared down at the others.

Tesák would kill to sink her claws into Artemis’ flesh, but it would have to wait for later. Blood had already been spilled, and if she punished the omega in front of the pack, who were already thirsting for blood, they might take it upon themselves to desl with punishments. Tesák stood before her targets, her tail high and ears shoved forwards in a domineering manner before stalking back to Styx’s side. She wasn’t afraid of the omega, no matter how out of place her actions were. The only thing nagging at her mind was how Styx might punish her for letting the situation get out of control.

Artemis squealed as Garas grabbed at the soft flesh at the back of her neck with his teeth, her squirming drawing blood before she was chucked partway across the room, her light body landing with a thud. She whimpered, pushing herself slowly to her feet with her head hung low, dragging herself back to Arisa's side so she could silently listen to whatever the Alpha was going to say. She'd much rather leave and take Arisa with her, but she didn't dare. Not when Tesak looked like she wanted to tear Artemis limb from limb. But... Tesak was a female, surely the Beta must understand the fear that went around the Omega females?

But when Tesak did nothing against Artemis, she let out a heavy breath. She hadn't gotten herself murdered this time then. It certainly wasn't the first time she'd stood up to them, but it was the first time since she'd lost her pup, for that punishment had also been from her snapping at someone higher than herself. She instead pressed against Arisa's side, shooting Garas a betrayed look. Why hadn't he let her tear into Tesak? Any other male of this pack would have let the Beta tear the Omega apart.

Rumbling at the happenings of his pack, and annoyed that Garas had stopped any fight from occurring, Styx snarled at them all. His Beta could have torn that useless Omega apart. It wasn't like Artemis was carrying a child, she had failed at even carrying the first one. She'd have to be punished at some point, and he had just the plan. Tesak had already suspended his training, as she was well within her rights to do, but Styx had another plan for Garas. Still, he would indeed explain himself, but certainly not because he'd been told to.

"Perhaps you should have a little more respect for your superiors Garas." He snarled violently, "Else you might end up like this filthy animal that was only one of a group that took from our territory!" He shook himself, standing taller, "Whilst all of you have been sleeping like pups, these beasts were stealing our prey from under our noses! From now on, if I find any intruder on our land that hasn't been captured, murdered, or taken to pieces, I'll have the head of whomever let them get away! Am I clear!" He barked, green eyes flashing in insanity. Of course, it was no one's fault that the wolves hadn't been caught before Styx had found them, but that wasn't what was going through the mentally unstable Alpha's mind.

"Garas. Since you are so... soft on the Omegas, you can deal out the appropriate punishment for Artemis personally. And if I find it to be... less than what she deserves for disobeying and attacking the Beta, it'll be your head I use to sharpen my teeth upon." He snarled, his wolf form's fur on end.

Hearing the front door open, Ash shied back from the stairs with a hobble, not wanting to be caught in her painful debate about whether to move. Her nose twitched as she recognised two of the scents as those of the pack, and a strange third one. Not at all wanting to be caught up in some drama, she decided that she'd starve, and started to hobble as quietly as possible back to her room, hoping she hadn't been seen. Whatever Diana and Vernon, if she remembered their names correctly, had brought back, it wasn't from the pack. It was like her. Wild and free and... what if they replaced Ash with this new person?

Garas clenched his jaw in irritation, there had to have been something Tesak had been through to be acting so irrational about the situation. Maybe his hunch was right, maybe there was definitely something wrong with being a Winson but he seen potential in their ways, they had been around humans and they knew exactly how the werewolves should act as a race right? He was starting to be unsure, he stared at the Omega he had thrown, she seemed fine for the most part and he was happy that he didn’t actually injure her all that much. Then it felt as if time had stopped, all his chances of becoming stronger and better froze for the moment, the sharpness of her words did indeed puncture his heart, he felt it stop momentarily, he wanted to kill her for being so stupid but he wouldn’t let her change him, that was her plan.

He believed one day he was going to show the Beta that his way could beat hers and that he would soon take over with her bowing down to him…or something like that anyway, all of his emotions were conflicted and the leader of the pack adding on that he had to be the one to punish the Omega for attacking Tesak didn’t make his mind any clearer. “Fine…I understand your decision Tesak…” He gave her eye contact to try not to cause anymore petty conflict. Then he looked to the Alpha giving a slight nod to represent understanding the consequences. Garas then made his way over to the Omega standing near her so that he could take care of her after the Alpha was finished getting his message across.

It all seemed to happen so fast around her she could barely keep up with what was going on, an attack, yelling about her being punished for disrespect and Artemis striking back, the sound of scraping claws on floorboards and the thud of the Omega's body being thrown across the room, more yelling, why though? why with such loud voices? She winced ears tucking as she stared around her not saying much simply looking between them all timidly, tail tucking further inwards as her swollen belly gave small movement, paws kicking against her insides she winced and lay down not out of choice, all this had caused them to be very active it seemed, looking back she licked her belly slowly with a warm smile, well about as friendly as a wolf's jaws could make such an expression seem, "It's okay little ones~…. Mummies here." she whispered, nuzzling her side a little ignoring all the chaos, it was although the girl couldn't be disturbed by such.

As Artemis returned to her side she licked the girls bleeding ear gently, "I'll need some lavender herb and healing salve to keep that disinfected~" she mused in a cheerful manner, her small form's almost pure white fur brushed into and weaved with the others, she'd heard that the other was to be punished, but she'd much rather it be herself, standing to her feet slowly and looking over at the alpha she gave a optimistic glance, eyes giggling, she'd heard his threats but it meant little to herself.

"please, none of this was on her head, I was the one he started this due to my own lack of speed, there's no need or anyone else to be punished, after all why hurt the lead ons when you can get straight to the cause?" she stated.

Her beautiful blue eyes shone strongly, "Alpha." she finished with a nod of respect, panting a little as the pups continued to kick clear for most to see against her thin sides.

SCARLET – LONER – HUMAN FORM – MEDICAL ROOM
280a1c567f5925668455cd257ebefd1f.jpg
With her flickering consciousness, she felt a pair of strong arms carrying her while her ears picked up a voice belonging to a female. Normally, Scarlet wouldn’t let anyone get near her; much less touch her. However, she wasn’t on the right position to neither complain nor protest seeing that she doesn’t even have enough energy to raise a single finger at the moment. It wasn't long before she felt her senses slipping away once again as the world slowly dimmed for her eyes.

Scarlet found herself settled on something soft the next time she regained her consciousness. It was an unfamiliar softness and it took her quite a while to figure out that she was lying on a bed. She slowly opened her eyes, the emerald orbs scanning her surrounding only to conclude that she was no longer in the wilderness. There were foreign objects and equipment all over the room which alarmed the female loner and made her force herself upright.

It proved to be a bad move because she let out a pained groan when her vision began spinning thanks to her sudden movement. She was feeling better compared to when she first collapsed to the ground but she still feels like shit. The hunger at the pits of her stomach was still there and her throat was still screaming for water or anything which can satiate her thirst.

If ever the two strangers from before did not leave Scarlet by herself inside the foreign room, she’d catch their scent and notice them before baring a pair of sharp fangs to their way. The years she spent alone taught her to be wary of people (or werewolves) especially strangers. The red-haired despite her weak state would hiss at them, “…W-where…am..I?” she would growl, each words being forced out of her parched throat.

Janus Kagore-Healer-Winson-Human Form
A piercing broke the healer’s concentration as he examined a woman’s injury for infection. “Don’t move,” came the command as he stood and went over to some a cupboard where he pulled out a few herbs and a bottle of disinfectant. Placing them on the table, he searched a shelf and found a mortar and pestle as well as a stone bowl which were pulled down. Looking over the herbs, he removed a knife from his person and began chopping up the herbs before placing them into the mortar and then ground them together.

Setting the knife on the table, the brown haired man turned and motioned the woman to rise, striding past her towards the door. Grabbing her arm when aquamarine eyes met his own hazel, he pulled her to her feet and began heading for the door outside, though they would need to pass through the hallway. As it was, they were running late which Styx would not be pleased about, especially as his brother thought everything was important. As soon as they passed outside, Janus’s eyes swept over the pack, not surprised by the fear from the breeders and omegas. Acting as if this didn’t exist, Janus pointed a finger towards the breeders before walking over to his brother, silently motioning with a twitch of his head towards the blond-haired lady’s direction as reason for them being late.

Sky Avena-Omega-Winson-Human Form
Sky’s wrong turn forty-eight hours ago had been an ending and possibly a beginning. She’d only been here since possibly midnight and checked by Janus, Styx’s younger brother, before being sent to where some other women were, thus not meeting anyone yet as they were all asleep. Towards morning though she’d woken to her shoulder hurting and had ventured out to look for Styx or Janus, them being the only two she knew. She hadn’t found Styx but had found Janus who had questioned and then taken her to the infirmary where he proceeded to begin checking her over.

Sky looked around her at the people gathered, oblivious to the fear in everyone’s eyes that were female or the bloodlust in most of the males. Are these all werewolves like Styx said? Sky looked around and took in her surroundings, not paying much attention to anyone or the dead wolf in the middle of the group at Styx’s paws. Grateful to the healer for pointing her towards the women, Sky looked around and spotted Janus and Styx. There also seemed to be another wolf there as well but she didn’t know who. Not caring much about that wolf, the woman lifted her uninjured arm and waved cheerfully at the male in greeting. It would be something that was not done but both Kagore brothers had said she was not a wolf until and if she survived the next full moon when she would transform.

Trembling as Garas came to stand beside her, Artemis knew she was in deep trouble. As kind as Garas could be, she didn't want him to get in trouble with the Alpha. Of course, she didn't want to be punished, but she wouldn't fight Garas on whatever he chose, she didn't want to get him in trouble or harm him. Already he'd been punished, albeit lightly, for standing against Tesak, she didn't want to see how much worse his punishment would be if Styx stepped in. After all, the Alpha had killed members of this pack, and apparently of his own family, before. She had no doubts that he'd willingly and happily do the same to Garas.

The lick to her ear from Arisa was welcome, and she leant slightly into the others fur, whining lowly. Artemis liked Arisa, and Artemis only wanted to keep her safe. But Artemis, knowing she was going to be punished heavily already, didn't follow when Arisa moved closer to their Alpha to defend her, only shrinking back a little.

Styx gave a sharp nod to his brother, Janus, understanding his reason for being late. He'd punish him, but he was caring for the woman that Styx himself had brought in a few days back, so Styx supposed he could let it slide just this once. As much as he'd love to argue with Janus right now about his priorities, the heat of anger flowing through his body, he had more important matters to deal with. Besides that, nothing much had happened, and Janus had just been in time to hear what Styx had wanted to say, so he didn't make Styx repeat himself. Besides, as much as he hated to admit it, the pack did need a healer, and harming Janus would only impede his work and make him more useless to Styx.

He growled as Arisa dared to approach, and stepped forward to tower over her, baring his teeth, "It is every wolves responsibility to get here on time. Her punishment is on her own head, she is the one who dared to try and threaten and attack my Beta. Besides, we don't need another female losing her pups because she was too weak to take a punishment." He snarled, noting the way Artemis shied back and shuddered as he spoke.

Though Diana was instantly relieved when the woman stirred and showed that she still had fight on her, she frowned deeply when she began trying to get up. "Don't move! You're still weak, don't make me tie you down."

She insert the IV's needle into the stranger's arm, dodging her fangs when they came in her direction. Her free hand was still placed around her shoulders.

"I'm Diana. You're in a safe place right now. I'm going to help you, all right? But I really would be grateful if you didn't bite me." She didn't seem particularly threatened by the woman, but Diana was never too good at noticing dangers when her duty to heal others was on the line. Moving to the front of the woman's body, she attempted to be as soothing as possible for the situation at hand. "I promise you, you can go after resting for a while. But not yet."

Janus Kagore-Healer-Winson-Human Form
Aware of his older brother’s anger issues, Janus accepted the nod given, knowing it was one of acknowledgement, he gave a dismissive glance at the limp wolf, turning his gaze upon the captive that seemed clueless as to her place as she waltzed on over and addressed his brother. Janus crosses his arms over his chest as he stepped back so as not to get in the way of Styx’s anger in case his brother lost it and another murder occurred. Janus had indeed heard his brother’s words, it explained some of why everyone had been woken, those that were not up yet like himself, yet he’d missed the action. The captive was a bloody fool and if she hadn’t been pregnant, she would have possibly been killed which would be her sole fault. As it was, she acted nothing like how a woman...how an omega should ac and behave. Jumping at their own shadow whenever a higher wolf, which were basically males, walked by. Still the healer was disappointed, but would just keep trying. Trying to win the attention and approval that he knew deep inside he would never get and had never gotten among his family.

What is this feeling? Sky was disappointed when Styx did not return her wave, missing the looks of horror from some of the breeeders in her direction. Her hand dropped to her side as she watched for a moment how another wolf stepped forward towards Styx before turning away and continuing to look at the scenery around her, not speaking to anyone as there were at least two males besides Styx and Janus here and not having anything to say at the moment even if she did know peoplw which she didn’t. Janus had said in the evening her shoulder was broken and would need time to heal, the makeshift surgery to fix it had resulted in an scurry attack and then retreat like the past forty-right hours, Sky shuddering at the sudden flash of memory.

Chiaki made her way to the bathroom before locking herself inside and relieving herself. She soon emerged and waddled back towards her bedroom. "Sorry I was gone so long," she jokes and slides into the bed next to her mate and adopted daughter. "This smells delicious my dear and I bet it tastes just as good."

I think I’m finally getting the hang of this hunting thing.

The male snuck his way through the tall underbrush, hoping that his hulking form was hidden well enough by the foliage around him. It had been difficult enough getting used to the “four paws” thing, but figuring out an effective way to hide himself amongst all this greenery was difficult. He had been a big guy before the whole “werewolf” thing happened. Now he had to figure out the best possible way to stalk rabbits and pheasants in the woods with his massive furry body wiggling around trying not to make any noise.

But he had to hunt. If he didn’t, who would? Artemis was tiny and weak due to starvation anyway, and Arisa? She was getting bigger every day, imagining her waddling around in the woods trying to feed herself was a funny thought, but more than likely it was impossible. She was just as skinny as Artemis, well, except for the stomach area. And the rest of the pack wasn’t hunting for them.

For that, he needed to keep hunting. Arisa needed to be eating more and more. He didn’t know if she would...
Now is not the time to think about this. Focus on the hunt.

The predator crept through the grasses, carefully avoiding branches that could snap, leaves that would crunch, anything really, as he snuck up on this group of pheasants that he’s been tailing for the past hour. He had something for Arisa already, now he needed something for Artie.

The ground dwelling birds had been evading him for ages, but now he had them. Now he just needed to get the biggest one how could to feed Artemis. He crept forward, keeping himself concealed in the grasses. His haunches bunched, ready to pounce-

A sharp howl cut through the silence, making his ears perk up and, out of instinct, his head rose over the grass to get a better angle to hear. It was... oh, lord, it was Styx. And he sounded angry.

The scuffling of fleeing birds brought his attention back to the matter at hand, and he whipped around, taking off in pursuit of the birds. They were running, some of them had already taken off, the biggest one included.
That’s fine, it’s fine, I just need one! Just one! He thought desperately as he dashed through the brush, snapping his jaws at the nearest birds. He watched them starting to take off.
No, no! Nononono! He was desperate- he had to have something, no matter how small! Something was better than nothing! He pushed it a little more, hopped up onto a fallen log, and launched himself into the air, jaws wide open and reaching for the last bird to take off....

His teeth clamped onto the wing of the pheasant as it sailed by. He could sing with victory if he didn’t have a mouthful of feathery bird.
When he landed back on the ground, he realized the bird was screaming in alarm, and he quickly silenced it. Hopefully nobody heard that.

When he deposited the pheasant in his usual hiding place, an old, rotting log whose pungent smell of decay masked the smell of fresh kill, he internally struggled with the idea of going to meet Styx’s summons. If he left now, he’d be terribly late, and he’d probably get snapped at. But if he didn’t show up at all, he’d get snapped at anyway. Ugh, he hated lose-lose situations.

After much debate, he took off for the gathering. Along the way, he wiped his face in some moss and dirt, hopefully wiping the blood from his kills off his face. When he finally arrived at the scene, as predicted, the omegas were being singled out and tossed around as usual. Great, maybe I’ll give them a new target.

He rushed forward and placed himself between Styx, Tesák and Garas, perpendicular to the group, this giving Arisa and Artemis as much cover as he could. Shielding then with his own body.
He didn’t stand aggressively, his face was neutral, body position neutral. The only thing moving was a light swish of his tail (more of a nervous tick, really) as he blocked Styx from attacking either of the two females.

Tesák shifted on her haunches, groaning internally. she needed Styx to finish up his speech. She had certain things to attend to-amazingly not punishment. She flattened her ears when yet another late wolf came running in. She noticed his positioning, rolling her eyes and lashing her tail in annoyance.

Another hero? That’s amazing. Do you want to have a go at me as well? Because you’re welcome to.“ Her words dripped with sarcasm as she addressed the new wolf. “Glad to know you two have all the protectors in the world. Maybe you’ll tear this pack down all by yourself. I mean, with everybody constantly moaning and whining about the tiniest things,” Tesák continued, throwing a lazy glance at the two omegas who were still cowering. She shrugged her shoulders. After all, the newcomer obviously couldn’t read situations well, as nothing was happening anymore. Did everybody want to get on her nerves today?

Janus Kagore-Healer-Winson-Human Form
Janus watched as a wolf came rushing past him without so much as an "excuse you", the healer's eyes narrowing as another omega and a male at that ran into the foray. Janus couldn't understand why a male wolf chose to be an omega, he wasn't born into it like Janus and Styx were. Instead this newcomer to the pack, Janus still considered him a newcomer as he hadn't been here long got in the way of Styx and put himself between Styx, the woman who didn't deserve her place as beta, and the two disobedient females. Janus kept his mouth shut, letting the woman and Styx deal with the problem of disobedience that seemed to be rampart today. Personally he hoped his brother killed the captive upon whelping, she was more trouble than she was worth.

Vernon stood outside of the medical room which Diana had been treating the loner, his black hair still messy as ever as he leaned against the wall. When running in he had dismissed himself to recollect his thoughts. He would report the new founding to the alpha, that was a given, he knew that some of the pack would scent the loner which could freak some of them out. He debated what he should do, focus on helping Diana or report to Alexander right away, he chose to help first off.

Turning around he spotted one of the Omegas that had been brought into the pack. He hadn’t socialized with her very often but he recalled her name, maybe if he sent her off to retrieve the alpha things would get done more efficiently. That is when he finally decided he raised his voice to hopefully catch her attention, “Can you fetch the Alpha?” he called out, he knew Astaroth might hear him, but the possibility of her not caused him to start moving her direction.

He left his bright yellow and brown eyes glance over her form before looking back towards the room the loner was within. He had left to go a little ways away, having found the wolf off on her own. “Please Astaroth? I need you to tell him that we found a loner, she is being healed by Diana, could you give him this information? He will want to come here right away,” he added. Vernon understood that having an injured lone wolf could cause a ruckus and not telling him would be an even more issue than wanted. He cast one more glance down at the wolf before dipping his head and retracing his steps towards Diana’s room.

“Diana? Is everything alright?” he called out, after navigating his way back and hoping she had gone to find Alex, Vernon wound his way up at the medical room they were using. He wasn’t sure if it was wise to barge in, it would be unsettling to deal with two strangers at once. It would be even more confusing if one said stranger just busted in with little regard to asking permission to enter. He thought carefully about what to do, sending for the alpha was a good decision, better than waiting. But he wasn’t sure how much help he might be aside from carrying the red haired loner to and from places.
