I basically prefer a kind of team up role. Whether it be a vigilante/super hero story or a plot where someone winds up jumping dimensions to the other players world. The main goal in the end is the characters needing to stop a problem or figure out a way to fix something. Usually the characters are a huge mystery to one another or even a bit at odds and then become friends.
