Garret Z. Allistair
Garret happily relaxed laying on top of his personal quarters. That last island had been both more and less eventful then he expected. He was happy with the members he had picked up though, and felt the last three days had found them getting slightly comfortable with each other. Well, somewhat that is. Garret had a sense that Ferra, who had been serving damn well as a navigator, was still pretty closed off. Though he assumed that would probably be related to whatever led her to being an ex-Marine and made her mad enough to punch his ship. Hopefully if she stuck around she might open up a little over time.
Aside from her there was Kyoko, Wil, Laura, Raine, and Stacy. He had to admit that it took him a couple tries to remember everyone's name. They all seemed relatively content at the moment as far as Garret could tell, but he hadn't always been the best at reading people. He shivered a little and put his hands in his jacket pockets as a cool breeze blew by. The smell of the ocean was nice and all, and Garret loved mornings normally, but it wasn't starthing to get too cold for his liking. He looked around shaken from his thoughts and found it was actually getting rather foggy as well.
He hopped down from the roof of his cabin and admired Stacy's handiwork on the upper deck for a moment. All the places he had put glass for stability rather than aesthetic or combat reasons were now fixed up and looking rather nice. Not to mention she had begun work on the holes in the hull that were fixable with their supplies. Though there were still many too large for her to do alone with what they had. Which is why he was hoping the next island might have both supplies and shipwrights to help speed up the larger work. Garret had plenty to pay them with from a crew he had defeated prior to Mirstone.
He stretched a moment and realized the fog meant the island was relatively close. Which meant if the crew wasn't already awake and prepping for landing, he should probably wake them. Unfortunate that many didn't share his love for waking up early. He yelled up to the crow's nest first where he found Ferra spent most of her time. "If you're up and awake we've hit the edge of the fog bank that surrounds the island! Time for us to get ready to make land!" After than he went below deck and repeated the message loud and clear for anyone either awake or asleep to hear.
Returning above deck he pulled out one of those hand telescopes and tried taking a look around. Alas, the fog had moved in faster than expected and was too thick to see through from on deck. Oh well. He slid it closed and put it back in the inside of his jacket. His crew, grumpy or not, would be ready soon enough to make land. It wasn't like a little fog was going to pose them any threat after all.
Stuff that went down in the past 3 days
Stacy fixed all the planks on the main deck so they are wood instead of glass, except for select ones meant to look nice or be used for combat
Garret has at least tried to talk to each character individually to judge how happy they seemed as a member of his crew
Ferra navigated them smoothly to the foggy water surrounding Neogenesis Island
Garret thinks everyone has to at least some degree gotten along so far
